This is a great company. We took out the permit ourselves then contacted them. They put the fence up literally 2 days late . Very professional and fast servic . Would definitely recommend Dont hesitate to contact them.

My neighbor hired J&C fencing to replace the fence that is between our houses. When I came home J&C had cut my trees down to the ground on my property and left it there. Left old wood, left bolts, nails, new wood that they cut for the new fence. Horrible company. I went to my neighbor house and asked if the company was going to clean up their mess and he said he would call them. 2 days later went back to my neighbor and he said the company refused to clean the mess. Any mess they make is a $125 clean up fee!!!! My yard was not tore up before they came on my property and now the week of Thanksgiving I have spent 2 days and 5 hours doing yard work that I did not need to do. . Do NOT HIRE THIS J&C FENCINGWish I could post my pictures of what they did to my yard

Wow! From the sales staff’s response time to workmanship of a simple vinyl fence it was an experience I don’t recommend to anyone! The reception front office clerk is rarely available, not professional or fluent in English and does not follow through. Once they have your money you are trapped and they have leverage against you! I don’t recommend this unprofessional, unresponsive fence company to anyone! It would be best they close! Better for the public’s best interest !

Code enforcement just paid me a visit stating Fence Outlet never got a permit for the installation of the fence. Also the corner of the fence is pushing against the neighbors fence which needs to be resolved. They had stated they had the permit process looked after which clearly wasnt the case.

THEY DESERVE NO STARS. USE THEM IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TAKEN AND NEVER TO HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN.Let me start by saying I used this company on another property a few years back. They werent the best, but they did the job. I decided to give them another chance. That was a big mistake.Apparently they changed owners or business names. J&C Fence aka Fence Outlet is highly unresponsive, unprofessional and rude. Their salesmen Dale was super responsive in order to get my 50% deposit and said that theyd install the fence in 3 weeks. I said if you cant let me know and Ill go with someone else. He insisted they could. Hell pretend to be nice until he has your money. The company disappeared for almost 2 months and wouldnt return my calls or emails. When I finally got them on the phone, Dale hung up on me and when I wouldnt stop calling to get a hard date on my fence install by threatening to file a suit, he was rude about it. Not apologetic at all.If you cant do the job, give me back my money and well part ways. Thats all they had to do.Instead theyll just keep ignoring you.Now here is when it gets worse. After months of being unresponsive, they finally installed my fence and did such a terrible job. The installers left chewing gum and cigarettes all over my yard. They left dents and spaces in some of the panels and fence posts. They left so much exposed soil they killed 3 feet of sod around the perimeter of my fence. Three feet from the fence all the way around the entire fence, dead.I immediately contacted this company every day from September 17, 2020 until I finally gave up on September 28, 2020 because I had to switch gears and get my permit finalized that they lied and said they took care of. The county said I needed to complete the permit and have the fence inspected before facing fines. I had to take money out my pocket and a day off of work to get that taken care of which isnt an easy task.I left repeated emails, voicemails and was hung up on by their second phone number where she tried to pretend she didnt speak English. Then I called back to speak in Spanish and she ignored me.I paid them for the deposit July 28, the fence was badly installed on Sept 16th and only because they called me looking for their money, I finally got a call back today October 23. She is now lying and stating that they never got the emails or voicemails. However, I have one text message from Dale where he said he let the owner know. Yet I still never got a response from the Owner or anyone to fix the situation. Of course after my follow up email, Dale ignored my messages moving forward. They probably knew that my recap emails was for the purpose of documenting everything in case I decided to take them to court.It saddens me that its come to this. I appreciate small businesses, but when you take peoples hard earned money and disappear, ignore them and are rude, you deserve to be exposed. I highly suggest you save yourself the stress and select another company. I can almost guarantee the positive reviews are friends and family. If you read this and read the other low reviews, we are consistent in exposing this unprofessional company. They wont complete your permit. They wont respond. They will do a half job if they even show up. They only want to take your money and disappear.

Worst. Experience. Ever. They installed my fence in the wrong location last month and I’m STILL trying to get this fixed. They don’t return phone calls, don’t contact you as promised. The customer service is appalling. Now I’m trying to get them to repair my lawn they tore up my where the fence was installed incorrectly. Unbelievable. Avoid avoid avoid.

J&C Fence was a delight to work with. The team helped design a custom gate for a very specific purpose and no detail was too small. The final product looked outstanding and the installation process was great. They are clean, courteous, and very professional. I am very appreciative of the work they did for me.

Jesse T Maddox and his wife cassie took 9,055.70 from me a year ago and never rendered service, they have not paid me the money back. Unfortunately now I’m realizing that this is a reoccurring issue for a lot of different customers who decided to do business with them. Buyer beware!

This is the worst company you could ask for when you want a fence in your home. When the owner came to my house to do the estimate, I Asked her Do I have to get a permit for the fence myself or will you do it? She said she will take care of everything. She made me wait four week to put my fence up because she was waiting for the permit after I gave her a down payment and she said it will only take one week. Months later, after she had her workers put the fence up in my house, I got a letter from the state county. The letter states that I do not have a permit for the fence and I got fined for not having the permit. She doesnt want to pay the fine because she said it was her employee fault and he doesnt work with them anymore. Worst company to ever work with.

I cant speak for anyone else but I had a great experience. Received the quote paid the down payment was given a date for completion and they actually did it before that day. I also checked the county records on the website permit was pulled. The workers who came out knocked out the job and it was defenintly a tough one big tree and its roots right along the fence line. Overall great experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fence.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They were quick to give me a price for repairing my vinyl fence and taking a 50% up front deposit. Was initially told work could be done in approximately two weeks. After waiting for three weeks, I began calling to find out when the work would be done. It took two days just to get anyone to answer the phone. Finally spoke to Manny, who said he would schedule the work for the following week. After again hearing nothing, called again and now was told it would be another week. Finally got a date scheduled and no one showed up nor did the company call. Following day I called and was told there had been a schedule error with the crew but that my job was on the morning schedule. After waiting for another full day, one person arrived at approximately 5:30 PM to perform the job. Now the problem really begins. The lattice work panels were the wrong ones, he only had one top rail when there were supposed to be two, and only brought one post cap when the contract sheet clearly said eight caps were to be replaced. Not only did the gentleman not have the materials required for the job, he spoke absolutely no English so communication was difficult to say the least. In the end he replaced one post, one top rail and left. This company does not answer the phone half the time, you can wait days waiting for a call back when you leave a message, they do not show up when scheduled and when they finally arrive they do not have the materials for the job. My experience was so bad, I decided to cancel the remainder of the job. The best description I have for J&C Fence is that the company is incompetent, irresponsible and unprofessional.

Everything seem great in the beginning 3weeks goes by so I call to get an update Manny tells me the permit has not come in yet so I wait the following week I call again Manny tells me that he has to call the permit offiice and see whats taking so long so I wait, and remember Manny isnt calling me, Im having a to call him so I wait, I call!!!!! the permit off and they tell me that no permit was filed so I called Manny hes confused about whats going on so he tell me not to worry he will put me on the schedule for the following week, the day came for the installation no crew no permit no Manny so I call he tell me they will be there today to intall My question to Manny how are you going to install without a permit he says I understand that this company is bad news save your time money the other reviews speak for themselves I just wish I had just read just one Dont do it leave that die cat in the garbage where it belongs the owner needs to fire everyone and start fresh and just maybe the can save their reputation 3weeks after I wrote this post its 5/12 /17 I checked my credit card and they try to bill my card again for one there was never any work done on my property how in the world would you think you can bill me again time to get a lawyer

People out there, I would think positive reviews here are from relatives and family. I have to say this is by far one of the most irresponsible companies I have ever worked with. First they took my down payment, told me in 2 weeks the job would start. After 2 weeks I had to call them up and they seemed lost on whom I was, at that point i said to myself - these guys are bad -. Then they put me for a Tuesday to do the job, that day they didnt show up, nothing the next day, nothing the third day. At this point i was so frustrated, oh by the way they dont answer the calls! Anyway, they had the nerve to have the trucker called to let me know the truck was broken down!!!! . You can guess what I did after this. I requested my money back, the guy sitting there told me : well, we usually dont do this but because of ..... At this point i really had to control myself. Got my check, left the place. Please if you dont want to have a terrible experience, go to another fence company. Dont do business with this company! (I had to click one * cuz the page wont post)

Absolutely terrible company! The worst customer service! Did not perform work! No communication from their office! Will not refund deposit! Feels like a scam!I contracted J&C to install a new fence for my home after Hurricane Irma knocked down the old one. They were very quick to come out and provide an estimate. Their salesman was knowledgeable and friendly.Their bid was a few hundred dollars lower than other contractors so I called them back to verify final pricing and contract the job. Again, they were responsive and came out quickly to draw up the contract and take the 50% deposit check, on November 4th. The salesman informed me that he would get us on the schedule and that the job would be completed sometime in the next 3 weeks, likely less but no later than Dec 1st.Obviously, that never happened. The first week of December, after asking for status, I got a message that there were some delays and the fence would be installed the next week, then more delays and a promise to install the following week, this went on for several more weeks, with excuses like the truck broke down, permitting delays from the county, etc. Finally, I called the permit office and their permit had been denied several weeks back. I notified the company that I want to cancel the contract and receive a refund for my deposit. The company never called me back so again I had to direct message the salesman. There were weeks of argument back and forth with me requesting a refund and the company saying no, that they’ll get the permit and do the job. Then the salesman finally said yes, we’ll cancel your contract and process your refund. This was Jan 11th. It has now been another month of the company not responding to my calls and the salesman occasionally responding to my text to ensure me that the refund is in processing. The salesman again, has assured me that I should get my refund next week. The next step is to file a lawsuit against the company.

This is a scam company! Beware!Contacted in September for easy fence job to be completed no later than October 20 and upon November 2nd nothing had been started except cashing the deposit! Refuse to return deposit or give completion date! Very Very Bad uncaring staff & sales persons. Now have to sue for triple damages!

This company is terrible in every aspect, costumer service and labor even worse. The workers that came and put up the fence will talk to you in a unprofessional way like if they were doing you a favor, so as when you call they tell you they are sending someone and that person never comes...bottom line they do not know how to do business, please avoid coming here unless you want a headache.

I called this company and gave them measurements on the phone the individual comes out and gets the exact measurements I gave him on the phone he gives you one price and when he gets to your home he changes the price to a higher price this would my second fence with this company after referring to other people never again would I do any business buyers beware this company is a scam.

They never pulled the permit after they told me they had. They broke some cable lines for Spectrum our cable provider. The gate busted down after a small 20 minute storm the first week I had the fence up. they are currently avoiding me as I stop payment and dispute the charges with my bank. Run.

Worst Fence company ever. I would give them zero stars if it was possible. Were unable to follow explicit printed instructions for fence requirements. Ended up taking 9 months and 6 installs ( due to shortcuts and laziness on their end) in order to install the fence properly per hunters creek HOA standards.Reasons for poor review: Will not return calls, Does not show up at scheduled time ( or even day) for work, does not call ahead when they do plan to arrive or when they cant come, workers and company take multiple short cuts on materials, workers leave large amounts of litter after work, fence installed was not what we agreed upon in contract ( wrong materials), poor communication within the company which makes solving issues difficult, laziness which causes MULTIPLE attempts to be necessary to install fence, attempts to side step responsibility in construction errors, gross incompetence.While the company did eventually fix their mistakes it was not without months of ongoing follow up from us, out right lies from the company, and as many shortcuts with material as possible from the company. AbsolutelyDO NOT USE.**** update 4 months on, the fence is now having structural problems due to the poor install. The gate is falling off and a support rod is bowing out. Trying to contact the company for their warranty promise...

Horrible products used on my fence, posts broke from first little winds. Had my fence for less than 6 months and my fence posts were the only ones to break out of all my neighbors. Buyer beware!!!!!!
