My AC unit quit on me on Labor Day and most AC companies were not open on a holiday . Star company was open and a live person named Larry answered the phone! He sent a wonderful tech, Michael in two hours. He was able to order a part and install it the next day. I stayed at a hotel overnight. I came home and found my house nice and cool again. Michael was very patience with me and answered all my questions. I am glad they have 24/7 service and holidays. Thank you Larry and Michael.

My ac decided to stop running today. I called to schedule a quote and I was extremely happy that they were able to set me up with an immediate appointment . The technician arrived promptly. My ac tech was Michael and resolved the issue with the unit. I was very satisfied with the service I recieved and how fast they resolved the issue and I especially appreciate the warranty they provide on their work.I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Star Air Conditioning is absolutely the best. Years ago, they took care of some AC issues in my first home. Although; I moved, I kept their information. Just Recently our AC was blowing hot air. We contacted them on a Sunday afternoon and our call was answered and forwarded to a tech. The tech called within 30 minutes, advising he would be at our home in 45 minutes. He showed up on time and resolved the issue the same day. Star Air will continue to be my family’s go to company for AC repair and maintenance. I recommend them. They are professional, transparent, and thorough.

I was having issues with my system not cooling and was tired of Airflows little concern to my dilemma so i called Star after seeing they have a 4.8 star rating. I never take the time to write a review but I have to say after calling Star I was very pleased, at first skeptical, although my issues were a bit difficult to diagnose they did not give up until they had it up and running even better than when it was brand new, even calling back to check up on its performance and to make sure I was comfortable. Now its been almost a year and through our grueling hot summer my ac is working like a champ! I will always call Dan at Star if i ever have any issues from now on.

He couldn’t figure out the real issue but tried to sell a new pool heater. Then realized it was not the pool heater and said it was the control panel now, but the office called me a week later, not him, to let me know that he couldn’t find the part. I had to pay again another company to diagnose the issue accordingly.

I briefly had the chance to see the owner, Larry Franklin, in action. He is, without a doubt, the most responsive person to his clients that Ive ever witnessed in Florida. The ease with which he handles a multitude of problems, simultaneously, was amazing. I cant anyone who wouldnt be pleased with this Company. Very rare service in these times.

Star has managed our personal and residential AC needs for the last 3 years. When a rental system failed this year they were able to replace it the next day which made for a happy tenant. They have always treated us fairly, and even brought a elect tester and the failed part to the door to show me why they needed to replace the part on a recent service call at our home. Google guaranteed 100 % satisfaction. I want my money back.I was given a quote for $700 for a new motor.While going through some paperwork, I found a name of someone my sister-in-law had hired to put in the AC. There was still time on the warranty. However, when they came out to look at it, the capacitor was bad, it was low on refrigerant and there was a leak in the evaporator coil. The motor was not bad.I will be asking Google for a refund. I was not satisfied with your service. Very disappointed.Patricia Ball

Larry Franklin Jr came out to service our non working unit. Very informative and upfront on what was wrong,cost to fix & time it would take. Based on that, it was not worth fixing and we opted to buy new. Again, Larry worked with our needs as well as the urgency to get air and by the next morning his guys arrived with new unit and worked straight through (did not stop even for lunch),cleaned up everything and had us up and running by late afternoon whereupon Larry Franklin Sr. personally called us to ensure job was to our satisfaction and to impress that if ANYTHING came up to call as they fully stand behind their work.Highly suggest you give these people your business--they care--you will not be just a number

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! Im not even exaggerating. My parents and I have both go through them for years and without fail. We always have received the best customer service and prompt call back. Larry Jr. is very kind and understanding. The office staff members are really professional and polite. My AC stopped working this weekend (middle of July, as you know is extremely hot weather in FL) and STAR was busy the day I called, so I was not able to get them and had went and called another AC repair company. Huge waste of time!!, but it was good to see how shady/dodgy other places can be. Tell me my unit was too old to put freon in, because its discontinued -or- if they do fix the ONE part that its going to be half the price of a brand new AC unit. From then I knew, I could never stray from STAR AC. STAR was able to get me in the very next morning. My technician today, Daniel was beyond superb, a real ace. He explained the issue and cause in a clear concise manner, which was very helpful to a customer. He was very prompt to finding the issue and resolving it. Most importantly, he didnt try to sell me anything extra and didnt give me BS!! Daniel went straight to the heart of the matter and fixed it. The best AC repair tech ev-er!!! I paid for a guy to come out and say he couldnt fix the issue due to the Ac being frozen but we either had a leak or a needed the coils cleaned. He also said scheduling is done in the morning so the next day someone would call me to come fix it.At 10am the next day(friday) I had received no call so I called in and was told the earliest someone could come out would be Monday. That wasnt acceptable so I had a different company come out and identify and correct the issue which was neither of things the original tech from Star said the problem was. You guys dropped the ball on the diagnosis and dropped the ball on scheduling and left me with a useless bill so no, I wont be recommending you to a friend,.

I contacted Star AC to give a replacement cost estimate for the 13yr old AC unit at the house. I found the cost to be fair, work was started in two days, permit pulled. The installer Chirs did a clean install and in one day. He made sure the condenser unit was plumbed leveled, and the air ducks, sealed well, then Larry came out the next day to go thru a checklist of items to have the unit ready to pass the final inspection which it did. The Office staff, Sheron, and Helen are very polite and professional in handling my questions and concerns . I have delta with other AC companies in the area and I can say Star AC gave excellent Customer Service.

I work for Women Health Center and we reached out to the company with a coupon from Groupon for a free service check that they said they would honor. Daniel one of the Companys employees came in and was upset saying we gave them incorrect information about informing them that we are a commercial. Aswell as he was extremely rude about honoring the coupon as we were told would get honored. At the end of the service check Daniel said it was not a AC issues but a Pluming issues and charged us a $69. To later find out it was a AC issues by a different company. They were extremely unprofessional about billing us and requesting payment cash. We as a company do not recommend this service to anyone. Thank you.

We came home from work on a hot August nite and we had no AC. I called Star Air and talked to Dan around 7:30pm. He had a tech at my house a little over 2 hrs later. Thats service! The tech did an amaziong job in troubleshooting the problem and fixed it. And the charge was reasonable. Will I use them again ? yes!

This is the most rudest set of people I have ever met I have been calling air conditioner companies all day to get a round about estimate on how much an AC unit would run me and these people try to hang up on me twice when I asked for a price they said we dont do that we dont give prices on the phone you want to price we have to go to your house and they literally hung up on meworst set of customer service I have ever experienced in my life I will never recommend this company to anyone I spoke to a couple friends and they told me they had a horrible experience with this company there AC units didnt even last a year!!
