This was easily the best experience with a auto repair shop almost like Ever. On vacation with car issues, called and explained the problem they asked me if it was able to drive it down to them. When I arrived they had ordered the parts drove me to a restaurant while they immediately jumped on my repair even though it was obvious they were very busy. The cost was better than if I was at home in Idaho. The other shop I called didnt even bother to call me back after three days, so much for the local mobil mechanic. We are so thankful we came across J & A Auto Repair shop! We are on a road trip from Wisconsin and our check engine light came on last night. Every auto repair place in the area told us they were booked three weeks out and couldn’t even take a look at it. J & A was the only place who was emphatic of our situation and willing to look at our car immediately. They ran a diagnostic and confirmed our hopes...it was likely just a glitch in the computer! They even took the time to show us how to reboot the car ourselves in the unfortunate event that we would have troubles later on in our trip. Definitely would recommend J & A auto to anyone in the area in need of car maintenance!

Small family-owned business that seems to do lots of fleet work. Six racks. They were able to fit me in for a simple oil change and minor work. Fast and efficient. Professional in that they can look up the required or recommended service specs for your vehicle and apply them. A good first impression.

Need to have my rear shocks replaced they were almost completely booked for 2 months but were able to get me in at a reasonable date.

We were traveling through town and had A/C problems. They got us in right away. They were kind, knowledgeable, and honest. Amazing service!

John and Amanda took care of our problem in 15 minutes. Our vehicle’s electrical system went out and we were on the road and somewhat panicked. The first five mechanics that we called were booked out for weeks. Per J & A it turned out to be a bad battery Terminal. A minor fix. Phew! We will always remember these guys and their hospitality and their accuracy and their punctuality.

J & A are amazing. We were camping at Crater Lake when our timing belt went out. We got towed into town and J & A dropped everything to help us get taken care of ASAP. Most mechanics were booked out for weeks but we were able to get out in two days. Thank you doesn’t cover it. Highly recommend!

Pulled up at 8 am and John stopped what he was working on and came right to me. He started immediately working on my vehicle until it was fixed. Charged very minimal and got me back on the road!!! Superior service to anyone around!!!! Awesome job thanks John!!!

I have always been treated kindly and courteously when bringing my vehicles here in the past, and John and Amanda (owners) have always been very helpful and reasonable with their rates. However today, Memorial day 2019, was just amazing. I had just personally rebuilt the carburetor on my dual sport motorcycle, and was out for a test ride when it became plugged again, and I happened to be in the neighborhood of J and A. I literally could not keep my bike running, so I walked it down the street, hoping that someone was there. And there was John, out working. I asked him for some simple tools to borrow so I could disassemble my carburetor again, and not only did he allow me to use any tool I needed, but he also provided a workspace and some brake cleaner to use... for free. These are kind people with remarkable service, and I will always highly recommend. Thank you, John and Amanda.

JUST EARNED A NEW CUSTOMER!I had some issues that I was concerned with on my jeep, and I just wanted them looked at. I called 3 business, and they all wanted to make an appointment just to diagnose my jeep. J & A wanted me in that day to verify that my car was safe to drive. Went in for a coolant leak and they fixed it ( new part) Drove to work and car started over heating again. I called them and the mechanic showed up to my work and fixed the issue. I am so happy 😁 it was super cool of them to come to my work place and fix it . I was stressing out thinking it might be another issue but everything turned out fine . This is my new go to mechanic ! Not sure what to think of this place. I had my car taken in because of the transmission fluid leaking and other problems with my car. They looked at it and replaced the front pump seal with a brand new gasket. When I had gone there to pay for the work they did on it, I was told that the it was still leaking and just as bad as before. However, there was no signs of any damage and was told that I could take my car but with the risk of it leaking all over and dripping on the exhaust that may potentially cause a fire......how is it leaking just as bad? Obviously, they did something to it and now I was recommended by them to get another transmission. Its hard to tell if they really know what they are doing.

These people are the best ! From out of town & had no brake lights. They fixed it within 45 minutes @ a great price. Friendly & curteous.

We were travelling through town when we broke down. No other repair place would get us in the same day. Not only did they get us in that day but stayed a little late so we could get back on the road. We really appreciated everything they did.

I have been taking my vechicles in for yrs. Customer service is A plus prices are A plus. Wouldnt go any where else. Thankyou for being such an awesome company.

Was very specific with them about electrical issue. Spent $50 for them to tell me the alternator was bad ($265 more for them to fix). I pulled the alternator myself and took it to OReillys and it tested fine. The techs obviously do not know the difference between a generator and an alternator.

Had my truck towed there on a friday. i thought the oil pump went out. they said they could look at it on tuesday to see what was wrong with it. on saturday they called to say the truck was fixed and it was only the oil switch and the bill was only $129. i thought it was the pump which would cost around $400 to fix. its nice to have a place that fixs whats wrong and not to charge a arm and a leg. thanks J&A. a job well done.

I would say from my experience this should be rensmed A without the j. When A is working there may be one guy standing around when J is there without A nothing seemed to be getting done other then guys hanging out talking about cars or football. I would fire J or put him to retirement hire another A so A dosent have to live at the shop and can have some free time. Family businesses can be challenging.

Went there to have my codes read, lady there said $20 to run codes even tho was just at Auto Zone who sent me there due to their code reader said codes couldnt narrow it down. She said no charge if codes the same as Auto Zones codes.....Read codes exactly same as Auto Zone she still charged me and didnt fix nothing. Seemed shady so i left and wont go back.......
