I ordered my books, online a month ago. I get to class (which started on Wednesday last week) and was told by my professor that we all had too many books and that her course only required one book. She said this happened last year. And that she called them and they said they fixed the problem only to have it happen again this year. She told us all to take the books back.I had an emergency at home with my 10 month old daughter so I couldn’t take them in that day. I came in the following Friday to return the books. They said they couldn’t do it without a receipt. I explained that I payed online and asked if there was a way that could be tracked. I was told that was a question for their manager and that he was gone on lunch break. He would be at least an hour but I had to go home so my fiancé could go to work. They told me to come back Monday. So it’s Monday now. I called the bookstore and asked to speak to the manager as I was told to. I was told he’s busy, call back later. I asked if I could just ask them my question. The lady on the phone said yes. So I explained the situation and she told me they could track my order from the phone number on the order placement. She said normally they can’t take them back but that in this case because the professor said we don’t need them that they’ll do it. I said great I’m on my way to you.I get to the book store 6 min later. Only to be told by another lady that the lady I spoke to on the phone tried to call me (my phone was on silent in my back pack.) and that they wouldn’t be able to take the books. I asked why and the girl shrugged her shoulders and said she just said she won’t take them.I am beyond frustrated as this was almost $400 worth of books that the bookstore TOLD me I needed. I will NEVER buy anything from them again. Completely unprofessional and rude.
I am not sure what happened, but turns out my professor ordered the wrong book for his class. He spoke to the bookstore about it. I went in a few times to speak with the manager. He was always super busy with other students. I finally get to see him. He is the friendliest, most helpful person I have met on campus. He saw I was upset and took the time to ask me how my term is going. He even gave me food and candy. He refunded me the price of the book and talked to me for 10 minutes about school. I have his card - his name is Christopher. If you ever need help go see him.
Amazing customer service! Visiting a friend in Klamath Falls. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. What a beautiful campus and bookstore.
Great!! Easy to talk too.they know what there doing
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.PAID FOR A SERVICE I NEVER GOT.REFLECTS POORLY ON A GOOD SCHOOL.The Policies here are real bad. I ordered an E-Book 1 week before term, got the confirmation (charged) but never got the access code. After going and buying the hard copy through Amazon, I tried returning the E-Book (never accessed or even received) 2 weeks after start of term. Manager would not refund because it was past the first week of school (not stated in the policy). The only way I could get a refund is if I dropped the course within 30 days of term. So essentially she has the power to refund if I were to drop the course but not to refund on an E-Book I never received, before the 30 day mark. After explaining this to her she then started to get snappy and short with me and insinuating that I was Lolli-gagging the first week when I shouldve returned it. Rude and Unprofessional. Will not buy from here again unless I absolutely cannot get the books somewhere else.
Have all the books that you need and they can also give you the same prices as other stores such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.
Theyre clearly just in it to bleed students of as much money as they can .Entirely unforgiving of just a days late return. Might be cheap for the initial rent, but insanely overpriced and hard to work with the minute you go past that date.Against my better judgement I made another purchase from these guys. I still have yet to receive a critical text for one of my classes, despite me having ordered the book 3 weeks ago. AVOID SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE.
Prices severely increased to some ridiculous numbers this year. Its only worth going in here if you need something right then and there.
I ordered a book a month ago for a course that started over a week ago- I have contacted the bookstore 5 times via email multiple times via phone (no response) and personally spoke with the manager who assured me my book would be there on monday (2 days ago) she is now on vacation for a week and the assistant manger is about as helpful as an automated message. I finally broke-down and bought it online.
Its not good. The prices part the student from their funds quickly, with seemingly no concern for student budget. And Im still waiting for my book 3 weeks after order. =(
After purchasing a text book online the company the bookstore uses to fulfill the orders, eFollett, charged my credit card instead of charging the book to my student account. I had been having trouble with eFollet processing my orders and had been waiting for over 3 weeks for some of my books. When I went to the bookstore I was greeted by the staff and asked how they could be of assistance. When I explained the incorrect charges Ali immediately refunded my card and fixed the issue. I also explained the issue I had been having with getting my text books. A second employee Bailey immediately went and found the text books the store had in stock and canceled the order I had placed online. This was a great experience and excellent customer service. I would definitely the bookstore, I couldnt have asks for a better experience.
Super cute, and friendly people! Lots to choose from, too. Books, supplies, clothes, games, and more!
Prices way too steep, considering you can get many of the texts elsewhere for cheaper than the renting rate at the Tech Nest. I do not recommend getting textbooks from here. Make this your LAST RESORT.
Very nice friendly staff
Expensively priced textbooks and Oregon Tech gear. They are not very reliable with ordering in textbooks when they say they will. Plus some of the employees have bad attitudes or seem like they would rather be anywhere else, so not great customer service
Closed on Saturday when the website says open..update website or open as advertised.
