I really enjoy eating at Leap of Taste!I really love this #4, the pesto on it is my favorite! Theres always a tasty treat on their case. I tried the gluten free brownie and it was good. It was more cakey than chewy. The truffles are good!Their restaurant is really cool. Lots of organic, local, and eco-friendly-type items. They have nice outdoor seating for the nicer weather months.
Oh my gosh this place is so awesome. Cozy an friendly place for great coffee. Their breakfast biscuit is giant and delicious :)
This is such a cute little place that supports. Great cause. The coffee and food were delicious. We were looking for something healthy to eat, and this was just perfect.
Okay! Just happened to stumble upon the place while venturing out in Klamath and wow, turkey deli sandwich was really good! (probably should’ve went with the half sandwich). Coffee was also perfect, nice and strong how coffee should be! Go check it out if you’re in the area!
Delicious sandwiches. Great coffee. Friendly staff! A veritable oasis for road weary travellers.
Overall, amazing food and drinks. They have so many options for pastries and such. I love everything there. My only complaint I have is iced drinks are sometimes a no go here. The drink will be 95% ice, 5% drink.
Great comfortable deli and coffee house in a very historical building.
Today was my third time eating at Leap of Taste. There is a lot of hype about Leap of Taste, and I can see why. They have created a certain environment and it’s a cozy and interesting little cafe. I really want to love it, but every time the food has only been just good enough. Not bad enough to take it back or be really upset you just spent money on it, but also not finishing it. The biscuit was actually a pretty good biscuit, the egg was very good, the bacon was good, and I really like the idea of the jam. What was disappointing was that the sandwich had been microwaved and you could tell. On the bottom the biscuit was very wet. The cheese was quality cheese, but it had been cut to thick and hung out on one side in a greasy congealed glob. The other thing I ordered was a blonde, which I love! Their blonde though is not really a very good representation of a blonde. The texture of it was not blonde like, almost stale and it was too hard. It also lacked flavor. Maybe salt was needed, regardless I only ate one bite. Overall I’d eat there again, but I wouldn’t make a special trip of it and I wouldn’t order a blonde. It probably is very enjoyable place to sit and visit and drink coffee. The food and baked goods though could be better.
Awesome place to eat! Right in the heart of downtown and in a great location. They have vegan options and cater to other dietary restrictions. My partner is allergic to strawberries and when he received them with his meal, they gladly remade his order. Customer service was an A+. Also, they have great desert options!
Delicious sandwich! Lots of good options for food and drinks, plus some cool merchandise inside.
The Reuben is AMAZING!! And the Cucumber Lavender Lemonade is to die for!!
Good sandwich, nice staff, good feel. Split order w/o problem.
Wonderful establishment have never been disappointed until today. It took almost 30min to get 2 smoothies (we were the only ones there when. We first ordered) i have to say dont get the pep up your step smoothie. Absolutely horrible! The strawberry was delicious though.
Normally I have a pleasant experience in this place, but today the staff was very unfriendly and seemed off. I hope that everyone is okay. Food and coffee is still good though.
I very much appreciate being able to buy food that is gluten free..and tasty! Thanks for the great lunch place!
My husband and I stopped there for a veggie sandwich and a turkey bacon sandwich. They were one of the best sandwiches we have ever had!! The Russian tea cookie was fantastic too!
The Leap of Taste is a wonderful place to go and relax. I have been going to the Leap of Taste for a little over two years. There has not been one time where I received poor service, nor has there been a time when I wasn’t satisfied with my experience. When/If there is an issue with my order, those working are very understanding and ensure I end up happy. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the occasional performer. I attended their Leap day event on 02/29/2020. I had an amazing time! I hope that the Leap of Taste continues to participate more in the community. The owner is very kind and I am happy that they made their way here from LA. This is where y’all are meant to be! Pouring/Serving happiness, one customer at a time.
I really wanted to love this place. Nice ambience inside plus outdoor seating. The quiche was dry and poorly made. My lactose intolerant husbands sandwich which clearly did not say cheese on the board came with cheese. We said we were eating inside and my large cappucino came in a paper cup. But wah.......
I love this place. They have a great ambience and the staff is very nice and highly professional. Very laid back and peaceful venue with a great selection of healthy options. Their menu is unique and they seem to really care about the food they prepare.
Would love to give this place 5 stars, as the atmosphere is darling, coffee is delicious and service excellent. However we also ordered quite a bit of food that was a little disappointing.-#4 sandwich, missing sun dried tomatoes and just a little bland... if I feel like I can make an equally good or better sandwich at home then it’s a fail.-#3 roast beef sandwich, assumed it’d be hot roast beef, just seemed like nice deli beef from the store and again felt similar to sandwich’s I make at home (although we do make our own sourdough bread at home)-caramel macchiato cheesecake, tasty but almost zero coffee flavor... which was 90% of the reason I wanted it-strawberry/rhubarb oat bar, not bad, rhubarb desserts are usually my fave and this just didn’t hit the spot.Again, can’t fault the service, we had a pumpkin iced latte which was one of the best I’ve ever had and a delicious dark chocolate Truffle. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Klamath, to try more food but will probably pass the on sandos
This is a very cute cafe in downtown Klamath Falls. I have been here several of times to study as well as just for breakfast. The quiche they have is super good and is priced pretty fair. The coffee is good and also a good price point. Staff is friendly and funny, they are quick to produce your order
Interesting stuff, I could of shopped for hours ..
I miss eating lunch here everyday since Ive moved. I loved the relaxed vibe, the food, the serve and the music. So far since I moved to Washington I havent found a place that comes close.
Amazing food great with food allergies.
I deleted my previous post because I thought it was Holiday Market. Simply put this place is awesome. They have a greatest people in the world
Wonderful little Cafe with real local charm. Not just your average dinner. Wonderful sandwiches and baked goods. Eclectic people watching. Wonderful and helpful staff. Highly recommend a stop here when in town!
Great price and great atmosphere!
This restaurant offers excellent service and yummy food. My favourite restaurant around here. The meals served rapidly and the rates are economical. Highly recommended.
Sandwiches were okay. Not spectacular, but the quiche was yummy. The cashier was nice.
Good food, great coffee, diverse crowd. Focused on local organic ingredients, their quiche, breakfast burritos, and salads are great. The coffee is amazing, with a lot of variety. Stop by and enjoy the eclectic, warm atmosphere, you wont be disappointed!
Yummy. Gluten free options. Great atmosphere.
I spent two years in Klamath Falls and went to Leap of Taste every chance I got. If youre looking for something other than meat and potatoes fare, this is a great alternate. I live in the Seattle area with all the restaurants you could wish for and still miss Leap. The quiche is made from scratch and is outstanding, get in early though, once its gone for the day theres no more. The #4 and #5 sandwiches with turkey are great and dont short yourself a truffle for dessert. And if you happen to be in on a day when theres traditional or curry chicken salad take some home for lunch!
Nice Cappuccino and sandwiches
Good drinks and healthy snacks
Vegan, gluten-free, and local-type foods seem to be the specialty of Leap of Taste. However, I usually order more typical food-and it tastes great. Fresher than normal, the smoothies in particular taste better than the average ones. They give you a small piece of chocolate and a slice of fruit with your meal, and they also have awesome desserts. I’ve heard others make specific requests because of some severe allergies and the staff were able to cater to the order. Not just food-they have cool handmade art for sale.
If youre ever passing through klamath Falls area and want a nice home feeling place to stop off and have some great food and great coffee then this is the place to go.Stop by located @905 Main St. Old bank building. Stay have some coffee talk with the locales get to know Klamath Falls in a way no other can.
Very cute small brunch/lunch restaurant. They serve anything from sandwiches, soups, quiche, bagels, coffee, tea, you name it. Everything seems fresh. The food comes out fairly fast. If you have a 40 min lunch, you could prob make it happen. I liked my soups flavor but it had only two small potato pieces in it and my mom liked the Ruben enough but they didnt put sauerkraut on it, which defeats the purpose of a Ruben. Ill give it a 4 because it was charming and good food but they need to make the comfort food more fulfilling.
Wonderful open atmosphere with great service. The food is full of flavor and fresh. They have healthy options and tasty sweeter baked goods. The coffee is quality, and the servers are good at making specialty drinks.
Loved the turkey blt on jalapeno cheese bread. House coffee was great too.
Cute little place. Great stop for lunch. Had the pizza sandwich and it was very good. They have quite a bit of outdoor seating. We had our dog with us, so it was perfect in the nice weather.
This is truly one of the Hidden gems in Klamath. This place has awesome flavor combinations. Great sandwich ideas that just absolutely complement each other and baked goods that are to-die-for, this place is a modern, Chic, and Ambiance centered restaurant. Been here multiple times, never had anything bad and staff has been more than friendly and helpful. Ill absolutely love this place.
A bit too much attention paid to expensive, pretentious merchandise (think Patagonia and Yeti and 6 different LEAP stickers?) and too little time spent preparing quality food and beverage. I found a Leap of Taste to be quite underwhelming. It was expensive, there was a line and, in my opinion, the food and the coffee took longer than it should have so wasn’t very hot. The coffee/lattes were not good - I would think those are rather hard for a breakfast place not to do well. I had a turtle cookie that I would describe more as chocolate chip oatmeal which was a disappointment. I had a Russian Tea Cake that was very good but cost $1.50 for about 4” in diameter.I’m giving A Leap Of Taste 3 ⭐️ because of the rustic interior, the potential, the Saturday Farmer’s Market across the street and the quaint location.Bottom line: Go down the street. There were a few other cute breakfast places.EDIT JULY 13: A Leap of Taste made a very professional good-faith effort by contacting me and apologizing for my less than satisfactory visit and providing a refund. I was very impressed, and will give A Leap if Taste another try.
Every time I visit Klamath Falls I need to make at least one trip to A Leap of Taste. The homey feel of the café, friendly people behind the bar, and good breakfast, lunch, and of course coffee make this a perfect spot to enjoy a little time. I was there last week and they had some live music to make the mocha taste even better!
Excellent pastries with lots of vegan or vegetarian options in that is what you prefer. Good sandwiches and pleasant live music. There is also kombucha teas for purchase. Overall a nice little coffee shop with good food and a nice atmosphere. Options to sit at tables counters or couches.
Leap of taste is a must see. They provide a relaxing environment to meat up with friends or for a quiet lunch date. Exceptional food, good coffee, and kombucha on tap. Everyone will find something to please them. Many vegan and gluten free soups as well.
Salad was very original and good. My Ruben needed some help. Lack of corned beef and the bread wasnt toasted so it fell apart quickly
Decent. A bit overrated. But relative to other spots in KL probably worthy of a great rating.
Tasty sandwiches!!! My lunch spot every time I’m in KF
Amazing food and drinks! Both healthy and tasty, with a beautiful, authentic atmosphere! We stopped by on our way to Mt. Hood, and were extremely pleased. The house-made kombucha and raspberry oatmeal bars were a special treat. If I could give more than five stars, I would!!! :)
Love this place, good food and friendly local service.
Leap of Taste is a great locally owned sandwich and coffee shop. Foodies will love the flavor combinations while the health conscious will find lots to choose from and they have great vegetarian and gluten free options. They also offer specialty cheeses and chocolates as well as organic bulk foods. The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic with large dining tables and couches.
This place is the kind of place I put my phone down. The staff and regulars are pleasantly talkative. Ill talk with them or just listen to them talking above the subtle music while sipping my delicious tea. The food is so good, I actually want to just pay attention to my palate. Its a place I can slow down and just enjoy my morning.
Love the homemade bread! Great sandwiches. Yummy pesto. Amazing pastrami and sauerkraut! Indoor and outdoor seating. Located right downtown with lots of free, public parking.
I feel awful, but I have to edit my review. Once upon a time Leap of Taste was one of my favorite places. I felt at home and comfortable here. Recently the vibe has been completely different and even the food is now lacking. I had to send my sandwich back because it was 90% bread. It feels like they have recently been cutting corners. Half the time the water hasnt been filled up or the dishes have completely piled up. Not sure what has changed but I dont feel like Ill be going back again.
Its a really chill atmosphere. Very friendly and Good prices.
Great food, live music, semi busy but the staff is great and the food comes out quick! Honestly the best little cafe in Klamath Falls area. This is a great find.
Pretty good lattes and great environment!I definitely suggest trying the oat bars. delicious!
Great lunch, soup, sandwich and cookies and a specialty tea, 18 bucks. Good value, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Did not care for the community-style/shared seating or that a reserved table could still be held for people who are 45 minutes late. Decent selection of food and drinks; took 20 minutes to get it but had a very good pumpkin flavored coffee. Lots of advertising if youre looking for local events. Very small town feel.
Huge tables, where friends and I studied for hours. Great atmosphere. Delicious food, vegan friendly! Amazing coffee, rich and strong. Great place with an amazing vibe, in the heart of downtown. Restroom for customers. 👍
They serve an amazing quiche here! Also plenty of sandwich and salad selections. Dont forget to load up on caffeine! The coffee options are too many to list.
Stopped in on our way home to the bay area and it was perfect! Great sandwich options, tasty bread, and fresh healthy vegetable options. Also a friendly and cozy atmosphere.
Great soups and selection of fresh, made to order sandwiches. Yummie baked treats!
Food is unique and flavorful, sandwiches and quiche are full of flavor, some have a lot going on but theyre balanced no flavor over powers another. Service is friendly and they seem excited about what they are serving
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious and creative sandwiches, salads and desserts. Great place to hang out with good wifi and local musical talent every afternoon around 3pm.
A good standby. but needs to reduce the plastic usage for people eating in. delicious food and solid coffee
Great coffee. Great food. Comfy couches
Good food and service. Relaxed coffee shop vube
One of the most delicious hazelnut lattes Ive ever had. They have a small but flavorful menu with both veggie and vegan choices.
Fresh squeezed lemonades and unique sandwiches
Good coffee and frittata, decent salad options and cute deli menu. Really fast internet makes it a great spot for getting some work done, staff are all friendly, decor is cozy and homey. Definitely recommend
Great sandwiches, had the reuben panini. No table service. Not much to drink besides coffee stuff. Good location with outdoor seating.
Love love love this place. Super friendly staff and great healthy options. I think my only improvement would be a vegetarian meat sub for the sandwiches.
There ok...like the coffee. Smoothies to.
A quick stop over to grab some fuel for the road trip. A lovely place thats very local friendly, crafts generous sized sandwiches and evens pops in a slice to fruit and a chocolate. What a gem.
One of my favorite places to eat in Klamath falls. Its nice to have somewhere to eat that has all natural food and also cares about our environment.
Food was soooooo yummy. I had the Moroccan soup today...delicious! Will be back soon.
A spacious yet cozy little coffee cafe on a corner of Main Street permeating earthy vibes with its all natural and organic selection of local and homemade delectables. Every afternoon M-Sat features a different singer, some about as pleasant to listen to as Phoebe on Friends, but others have real talent that just makes you want to come by for a sweet escape from the mundane while sipping the best locally and fresh roasted coffee in the region. My favorite singer so far is Richard Johnson. Come by for a visit and relax with a tasty drink, listening to a coffee shop crooner and maybe even examine the interesting and creative artwork that decorates the walls. Cheers.
I think it is awesome that leap of taste trains young students who are transitioning into adult hood. Who are just starting out in life. They have great food and coffee. Noce, casual environment.
Great food in a very comfortable and homey atmosphere.
Great coffee I had an espresso and it was perfectly brewed nice raspberry oat coffee move bar happy staff adorable sitting area and outdoor patio. Worth a stop !
What a great place. Live guitar music at lunchtime and quality food. So glad we stopped in!
Actually was up stairs in the bank building, had tea from there once
Cute shop, friendly staff. My iced chai with coconut milk was delicious, and the breakfast burrito was good too.
Always enjoy going here! Nice peaceful environment, really nice employees, excellent coffees & their farinatas are SO delicious! Asked for recipe & Liz kindly gave it to me & even explained how to do it! I highly recommend this place!
2014.08.01: Awesome coffee shop! Really nice barristas! Discount for bringing your own cup. Spacious, with great ambiance. Right across the street from a farmers market on Saturday morning.
I love fresh sandwich places with wonderful coffee option. Hometown favorite. Portabello sandwich and Mexican mocha two thumbs up.
Love this place
Fantastic place to stop for a sandwich!
