I bought a very unique door for a pantry. It was still in the original casing. Paid $1000 for it, one in a million piece.
Open but no one around and hardly anything priced. Some cool stuff as far as furniture and old doors but that is the extent of it.
Just going on all of the reviews here, we drove 5 hrs to come to tenn to look at antiques and not even going to give this guy a chance...if he wont set a price and even more importantly if he doesnt label his pcs with a price he will never get a chance with me! Thank you people for your honesty and saving us from wasting out time
Interesting store! Worth the visit if you want something historic, with character and isnt cookie cutter.
RUN AWAY!! HORRIBLE!! Told owner up front what my price point was. He sent me pictures of options in that price range (so I thought) but then the “labor” added another $300 plus he said. Then after dialoguing specifically about one particular item for 2days (I was attempting to buy from out of state via text pictures) he at one point mid conversations told me he might’ve already sold it??! (What??? Have we not been talking about this for the last day??) When I asked to pay him he told me he couldn’t give me a final price until I picked it up. I told him I could not pay more than the price we had been discussing and his response “then we better not do this”. Total BS and a waste of my time. I would go out of my way to never purchase anything from them and will be sure to let anyone I know know how rude and arrogant this person is. If he has been in this business for as long as he brags he has been he would know exactly how much time it would take him to simply modify the size of a door and clean it up. I was not asking for anything out of the ordinary that he doesn’t do every day. What a big big disappointment.
Very very unique items from europe! Spent over $1000 here
Had a horrible experience. I asked the owner for a price of a jar and he stated that the jars on the table were $30 dollars. I picked out a jar and the sales person said he would clean it off so I could see it better (everything in the place has about an inch of dirt on it.) The owner walked back over and declared that the price was $55. He then told the salesperson not to bother cleaning it, because he didnt think I was going to buy it. I looked this place up on Yelp and wasnt surprised to see a similar review.
Dont bother.Unless u want old doors, windows or large furniture to re-do its a waste of time.U need to bring imagination 2 this place or dont bother.
Beautiful antiques and architectural items imported directly from France. There is no better place in the South to find that unique piece you have been searching for.
This guy is a genius and he surrounds himself with highly skilled artists. Imagine if you could travel back to the 18th century France and purchase NEW furniture and return here with it. This is the experience Brad gives you as you watch him take authentic 16-18 century european furniture, doors, fixtures etc. and rebirth them. If you just want furniture dont waste your time here. However, if you want a rich, historic experience (in addition to the highest quality furniture) that you will enjoy until you go to your final home, this is the only place to go.
Good for home fixing
No staff around. Nothing priced. Lots of old stuff that needs hundreds of dollars of work but worthless as saleable furniture.
Great place to shop if you love French furniture.
