We have been going to Lance Cunningham Ford for about 3 years now. I have bought 2 vehicles and sold them 3. My experience with car dealerships have always been awful because as most know they try to rip you off or take advantage of you or your situation. Lance Cunningham and his sales man or I should say the salesman I worked with was top notch! Donnell was one of very few guys Iv worked with at any dealership that 1. Treated you as a friend not another commission check. 2. Got to know me before trying to sell me a car 3. Actually cared about my situation and genuinely wanted to help make it better. Donnell put up with me and my many questions and concerns and no matter what I asked or when I called him he always answered and answered any question I had. After building a relationship as friends which I never plan on doing with any salesman I buy a car from but I knew he is a trustworthy guy that took care of my family and those are the kinda people you want in your circle. Donnell was very knowledgeable about the Ford Vehicles and very knowledgeable about the market and other things we spoke about. Donnell was and always is a pleasure to work with and I plan on returning to Lance Cunningham Ford for many years because of Donnell and there excellent service. Lance Cunningham Ford is a one stop shop for my family and I for a long time to come?
I bought a 2019 Ford Edge Platinum here on October 26th. Emma my sales person was amazingggggg. We didnt get there till later in the evening and she worked past closing time getting us setup for financing the next morning. Emma went above and beyond to help us find the right vehicle! Our financing lady was Robin. She was just as amazing as our salesperson. Robin explained everything in the sales contract down to the last dollar! If I had a question about anything in the contract She addressed it with the utmost professionalism! And then there was Jerry the Sales Manager. Jerry was there through the whole process making sure everything flowed smoothly. He helped me get my trade in completely paid off which is huge to me! He is an Air Force Veteran from Desert Storm and treated my family like his family as I am an Iraq War Veteran also. Thank you to the whole team at Lance Cunningham Ford for making my purchase amazingly easy. You have earned a lifetime customer!
I talk to a salesman I reserved a spot to come in on a certain date to see the new maverick pick up. I was told there would to be two for me to look at. I got there and they were none for me to look at. There was one being cleaned up for a customer so I could not drive it. I understand it’s a popular model. But they should be considerate of the customers time.
Chris the new GM is absolutely amazing! This guy is the perfect example of Customer Service. I would absolutely recommend anyone to buy their next vehicle there. Ask for John when you get there, he is a top notch sales person! Chris is on a mission to make this the best dealership in knox county!
We were out shopping yesterday for a F250 and after having a bad experience at a couple different places we ended up here. It was by far the best experience ever. Jack greeted us immediately and walked us right over to where we needed to be. We were able to close the deal because they listened to us and tried hard to make what we wanted happen. Everyone there was absolutely great! We enjoyed talking to all the employees. Everyone was so sweet. We had our toddler with us and one of the ladies brought him juice and crayons to keep him busy. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend doing business here! We highly recommend Jack!
My family and I had an great experience purchasing a vehicle from Jack Schumacher at Lance Cunningham. Jack was very kind, patient, knowledgeable. We never felt pressured to buy a vehicle but Jack made it a priority to listen to our needs and help us make the best decision for our family. Jack went above and beyond during our car buying experience to make sure we were happy with every detail. If you are searching for a new/used vehicle, go to Lance Cunningham and ask for Jack. You will not be disappointed by his customer service!
A very special thank you to Preston Williams at Lance Cunningham for finding us a beautiful truck.Preston showed us one truck but not what I was looking for.He called us the next day and said I found your truck. So we went back to Lance cunninghams and sure enough the truck he found us was beautiful.A black F150 Platinum. Preston went above and beyond to find us what we wanted. My father in law bought a truck from Preston in 2003 so it was nice to bring back those memories. If your looking for a car, truck call Preston he will make your dreams come true.preston you are AWSOME thank you again
Took my car there for a recall, they want to charge me to diagnose the car. The light on the dashboard tells them the advance tracking needs to be serviced!! It’s a known and common on recall on my vehicle it makes it very dangerous to drive.. no steering no breaks!! I feel they didn’t care about my family or anyone else’s it’s all about money for them!! I will be filling a complaint and taking my vehicle somewhere else!!!
First off, the first guy i dealt with proceeded to tell me his whole life story and how he hates being a car salesman as if I was his therapist. He was nice but I was trying to buy a car not listen to someone talk about their problems. Second, I was told I was paying one price and ended up paying a completely different price and I just now realized it (my fault, I know), and I should have caught it but it was late and I didn’t know any better. I wanted to do a 36 month payment and was SET on that and somehow it ended up being 84 months. I wasn’t made aware of that until everything was already signed. I’m incredibly disappointed in how the actual car buying process went down and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. With that being said I like my car, but the men I dealt with are scumbags. As a first time buyer I was 100% taken advantage of.
Great place great people here in service and sales department
Took my vehicle in for recall work and I was offered no loaner car which every dealer does . Ford has treated me w respect and always offered service after the sale ! This dealership returned the car they thought I left for a recall and dropped in my drive somebody else’s vehicle pictured below ! This car belongs to a family on selma drive in Knoxville . Bad experience.
Service department is by far 1 of the best. Went for oil change. In & Out in very good time. Would definitely recommend for all your service needs. Ask for Courtney or Shane very professional and good at explaining everything.
What a moms boy. Mechanic work is negotiable. If you like your work floppy go to Cunningham. Thell con you out of your hmm
Very unprofessional brought my Mustang in for service the guy asked to keep the car there and said it would be looked out within two days. Week and a half went by Car still sitting in the same position not looked at. Got told three different stories from three different people. Just be honest if you don’t have the manpower to look at the vehicles or service them just say that. Wouldn’t buy a car from these guys or bring it in for any type of service go to a smaller independent or if it’s under manufactures warranty bring it to a different dealership.
The service department is extremely incompetent. I dropped my car off to have the cruise control fixed which was malfunctioning. They kept my car 16 days and still didn’t get it fixed! They couldn’t even figure out how to take the airbag off of the steering wheel! My car will never see their service department again even for an oil change. DONE!!!!
Unwilling to help a travelling family out. Very disappointing. A Ford problem too. Trying to get a wheel bearing replaced under warranty on our 2018 truck while on the road was a nightmare. Warranty is worthless in this scenario. Every Ford dealer wants their own diagnosis, but theyre service department is booked and it takes a few days to get the bearings. The whole process takes about a week, time we dont have. After a couple very frustrating dealership stops, we finally thought this place would help out. Lance Cunningham Ford said they would get the part, make the appointment and get it done. Well, they changed their mind a couple days later and wanted to do the process over again. Wouldnt take the diagnosis of the previous Ford dealership. The explanation had something to do with insurance and liability. Didnt make sense. Expressing agitation with them backing out, I was told they wouldnt make money on us anyway. Guess that was the real reason all along. Sometimes it can be about doing whats right and honoring a warranty, but Lance Cunningham isnt about that. Went to a tire place down the road, spent the money and was fixed in 2 hours. Amazing the difference in service and the fact a tiny tire place has f150 parts in stock, but a dealer needs 2 or 3 days.
Just want to give 5 stars for the best car salesman in the business! Shout out to Jared at Lance Cunningham Ford. This guy is awesome and knows how to value and treat customers. He took care of me and gave excellent customer service. He was able to get me the Truck and deal I was looking for. If you are looking to buy a truck or car, I highly recommend to go to Lance and ask for Jared. Thank you for your help.
Was a great experience and I will continue to do business here in the future
I came from out of state to purchase my car and Kaylee was in constant contact throughout the process with details, videos, answers, etc of the car. She stayed with us as we resolved some issues regarding the purchase of the car which was appreciated.
The service department for this dealership is absolutely awful. The part for my vehicle has taken almost a month to get in (not their fault b/c of the whole pandemic). When they finally received the part we were waiting on, they lost the keys to my vehicle, which took a week and a half to replace so that they can work on my car. Well, then the battery was too dead to work on it. Now that the part is in and a new battery has replaced the old one, they don’t know how to install the new part we waited so long on. Their service dept won’t communicate with us and takes DAYS and MULTIPLE calls to return a phone call to let us know what’s going on. If you don’t have to use their service dept then don’t! Go somewhere, ANYWHERE else!!!
Sales and service is top notch. Always has customer first mentality
Absolute dissatisfaction. The repair process for us was a total nightmare. Extreme lack of communication. To start, our vehicle was brought in for a couple recalls and we also had a problem with the sunroof and the trim around the windshield. Lance Cunningham told us the part for the sunroof was backordered, so my wife called to see if Ted Russel had one in stock, to which they did. She called Lance Cunningham back to tell them that Ted Russell had it, Lance Cunningham claimed that Ted Russell did not have it even though the parts department at Ted said it was waiting on them to pick it up. This is day 3 that our vehicle is at the Lance. I guess they went to get the part finally. This is not where our problems ended. Shane, one of the service consultants would never return our calls at any time leaving us in the dark on the matter. Finally on day 5 the dealership calls us to tell us the car is ready for pickup, 10 minutes later when we are on our way they call again to tell us that our car was indeed NOT ready. Another waste of time out of our lives. 2 days later we receive notice the car is done. A total of 7 days in their service department. They want to charge us $1200. Which seemed a bit excessive considering the amount of treatment we got from this dealership. After speaking with their service consultant, he lowers the price to $900. Still seemed pretty over the top to us but what could we do? When my wife arrived to collect her car and pay for these repairs she finds the interior around the windshield damaged, the drivers seat very unclean and stained with grease and a large red paint smear on the body of the car. They also had not reinstalled the sunroof switch plate cover after they serviced it, stating the new part didnt come with one. She requested the old one to which Shane claimed was in the back. To sum this up, Lance Cunningham service department is incompetent and lacks any sort of fortitude that a dealership should have. The service consultant, Shane lacks communication skills and the willfullness to return calls and manage the repairs. Lance Cunningham, you should be ashamed of this transaction and should also be ashamed of how your service department is ran, but judging by the other reviews here you do not care to make improvements. My message to people considering this dealership for service is to please reconsider somewhere else, as you will most likely have the same experience we did. We are in total regret.
My brand new Explorer was at Lance Cunningham for two months waiting to have the transmission fixed. I called the original dealer where I purchased it (they do not have a transmission specialist, so they had to take it to Lance), and was told that they had no idea when it would be fixed. They claimed that Lance Cunningham did not answer calls, gave them the runaround, and even hung up on them. So, I made payments on a brand new vehicle for two months that was not even in my possession. The entire situation was beyond unacceptable. The only way I received resolution was to call an attorney, and informthe dealership that I had done so. I did contact Ford Motor Co. directly, and never received a response.Never another Ford again.
I can’t say enough good things about this dealership!!Great car buying experience
Bryan Johnson did an amazing job with customer service today during the service of my vehicle. He was very articulate when dropping off and picking up. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, which is refreshing during this time.
This was one of the best buying experiences Ive ever had. The sales person Madeline was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to help make the deal happen. All the staff was very nice and helped in anyway they could. I would definitely try them out. If your shopping for a new or used Ford.Update went for my 1st oil change and I wanted to ask if I could get a ride to the phone store while I wait and the amazing dexter was more then willing Togo out of his way to take us there while I was waiting. Greatest customer service ever. If you need a car/truck get it at LCF. They treat you like family!
We went here to purchase a Platinum Explorer. Our sales experience began on a very bad note having difficulty with one of their salesmen. I wont elaborate too deeply. I will just say he was very rude and unprofessional and we were fed up and ready to walk.Keith aka Country saw the way we were being treated and stepped in. He was a much better salesperson by far. He worked with us, helped resolve the issues, and went above and beyond to do a deal with us. The customer service he provided was excellent. He could teach our first salesman a thing or to about customer service. As a result, we made a deal on a Platinum Explorer and my wife and I went home happy.Keith was awesome and is what I would call a diamond in the rough. This dealership should reward him significantly and consider him for management. At bare minimum, he should be put in charge of training other salesmen. I assure this dealership that if it was not for Keiths intervention and efforts, we would not have purchased a vehicle from them.Keith.....Thank you for stepping in and turning a piss poor experience into a great experience. Also for making us very happy with our new vehicle. You were awesome.
I purchased a new 2019 F150 from LCF. I live in Florida and was looking for a specific truck (wife approved), and found this beauty online. I contacted the dealership, Spoke with Matt Shell (great salesperson). Confirmed availability and spoke on pricing. Was able to get a good deal on the truck. Matt was very easy to deal with. Upon finalizing the deal, I had asked about adding the Roush Supercharger to the deal as well. With some help from Lance Cunningham himself we were able to pull it off, despite the Covid-19 pandemic slowing the process... Paperwork was sent to me in Florida with a local notary. Roush took a few weeks to get the kit to the dealership. Once parts arrived, Chad Spicer was able to do the install with in just a couple of days. I picked my new truck up on a friday afternoon. Finally got to meet the people working to make everything happen, and was met with great customer service and friendly staff. Matt set up my fordpass app and went over some key features or the truck. Chad Gave me the walk through on the roush kit, and the rocky ridge conversion. Lance Cunningham congratulated me on my purchase and went over some other features on the truck. Overall my experience was great. I got exactly what I wanted, in a timely manner, and from people who genuinely enjoy what they do. Probably the easiest purchase experience I have ever had, and I look forward to doing business with LCF in the future.
After getting treated like garbage at Secret City Dodge in Oakridge we went here. They were easy to deal with and let me look at all three cars I was interested in. Even let me test drive whatever I wanted. Final price for the Ford Explorer was only 2k over KBB purchase price. They worked out a good deal with me. Finance explained the numbers and everything added up. 10/10. Will be there again.
Impeccable service all around! Best salesman you will and can ever find is Chuck Marsh! From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed by the front desk the way you would be welcomed into someone’s home 😄The inventory is impressive as is the knowledge of the staff.Chuck Marsh has 8 years of experience selling vehicles. He will go above and beyond every last time without being asked!I love this dealership- the quality starts at the top from Lance himself down to everyone that makes up this team. I have purchased two vehicles from Lance and both times were smooth sailing. The experience of quality customer does not stop once the purchase has been made- that’s just the beginning. Top- notch best dealership I have ever been anywhere ever!
Horrible experience. Drove my truck to get collision body work fixed through insurance. Went to pick up my truck and it didnt start. They tried to jump it off and it didnt work. Smoke came from my engine and turns out they fried my starter and refuse to help us. Instead the employee yells at us and has it towed. I will NEVER return. They didnt even offer for me and my daughter to wait inside. 90 degrees outside and we had to sit in the heat.
Matt Shell was so patient with us. He showed us several trucks and was very knowledgeable about each one. Be sure to ask for him for all your vehicle needs. The dealership was clean and welcoming. Did need to ask some staff to wear mask for our safety. Otherwise we will go back for any further vehicle needs. Thank you again Matt for a smooth process.
My entire sales experience, from initial contact with Lance Cunningham Ford through acceptance of my GT350, revolved around Cole Fisher. At every point, Cole was the epitome of an exceptional Sales Representative. He was professional, courteous, and honest during all our conversations and interactions, and ensured our business transaction never felt money-centric. Cole always stayed out in front of potential issues and expertly navigated the building, ordering, shipping, delivery and care, and sale of my Shelby. Lance Cunningham and Ford were properly represented by Mr. Fisher.
With construction going on, helped to find the easiest way in.
I bought a F150 from Lance Cunningham Ford about 2 months ago. I did most things online prior to signing the papers. When I went to pick up my truck, I got a crash course in operating the SYNC 4 system from another representative.Fast forward to approximately 2 months later. No follow-up from anyone from Lance CunninghamFord. Yesterday we were preparing to leave on vacation and we were trying to get the inverter outlets to work. Could not find anything in the owners manual. So we placed a call to Ford, no help whatsoever. Then placed a call to our sales representative, J Mc at Lance CunninghamFord, again no follow-up.Bottom line, it appears that you will get no help from anyone here.I may buy another Ford, but it WILL NOT be from Lance Cunningham Ford.
Worst Experience Possible For This RepairMy Past Business Dealing Were GoodI bought a used Ford F150 Pickup here in 2006 and had a good experience. I have had service many times here with my previous car a 2012 Ford Focus. My current car is a 2015 Ford CMax that I am very happy with. The Poor Service ExperienceI needed a new headlight bulb. Seems easy enough. Called on Friday Dec. 4th, Courtney took the call and asked a few questions. I scheduled it for 8am repair on Saturday December 5th (yesterday) I was quoted $100. Complete. No problem, see you at 8am. She told me it was a 30 minute job (so I planned for an hour and did not have to be at work until 10am. (I got to work at 11am with no low beam headlights at all)The Communication BreakdownWhat she should of asked me on the Friday appointment phone call was if I desired getting both low beam bulbs replaced since the install is a ridiculous “remove the front bumper to install” repair job. (Which is why I was not going to attempt to do this myself – Not that I knew that – BUT she should have???)I Arrived At 8amThe mechanic took it back immediately and I headed to the waiting room. Around 9am (I should be leaving) Courtney came and asked if I wanted to go ahead and replace both bulbs due to the bumper removal to replace the one, might as well do both. (She should of asked me that at 8am???)I said YES! She said it should be 30 more minutes. Ugh.. but worth the wait (I thought)At 9:45am I went to Courtney and asked “am I almost done”??? as I must depart for work to be there by 11am which would still be 1 hour late (remember it was a 30 minute replace bulb SUPPOSEDLY) Nope. She said they were JUST waiting on another bulb to be delivered from ??? somewhere else? WHAT IN THE??? A FORD DEALER that doesn’t have 2 matching bulbs. Also, why didn’t she tell me / upsell me on the phone Friday to plan for 2 bulbs, THEN BOTH BULBS would be there? Poor service on their part.I stated I had no more time and would have to reschedule. She set a time for Monday (tomorrow) at 8am… Fine.I Await My Car Being Returned To Head To WorkLuckily it wasn’t overcast, raining or dark out. Because get ready for the craziness. Another service writer pulls my car in… Thank God I am thinking… It is now 10:15am. SO, before “I” depart in the vehicle I decide to try my headlights to see that one (or both as when I arrived both were on – the bulb was going off and on) hence my appointment for repair!!!!No Low Beam Headlights At ALL????First thought OMG!!! But, I had to be at work so I called Courtney over and stated “Neither of my low beams are working now???” She tested herself and replied… “Well, can you just drive with your high beams until Monday morning!?!?!? I had no choice since I was already late. I wanted to say, SURE, and if I get in an accident this is not going to go well for Lance Cunningham Ford!My Conclusion – Not Uttered By HerWhy was no one going to tell me I did not have ANY low beams now? They were fine with allowing me to leave, with the belief that I had at least one bulb working, possibly two as the one was intermittent and working upon arrival?I concluded that the repairman removed both bulbs and threw them out while awaiting the TWO bulbs. (Not that I was told that). Does no one there care about our time and our schedules? This was crazy to me. I would not even return to this place if it weren’t for the fact that “Installing these bulbs must be done at a Ford Dealer”!In conclusion I will HAVE TO BE THERE to get these headlights. Period! I will update the status of their final install and how they handle this debacle. This could have been SO EASY had the service writer asked me to replace both bulbs on Friday.
Had my car serviced here since I bought it here, including tire rotations. Have been generally satisfied. They trashed all 20 lug nuts, which seems like an impressive feat. How??? Taught me a rather expensive lesson. Not happy about it at all, or about how long I have been stuck here waiting.
Decent dealership. Service department is exceptional.
Had a great experience today. Dexter did everything he could to help us out and we greatly appreciate it.
Here to have driver side airbag replacement 3 years ago they replaced the passenger side airbag great place will always drive a ford
I shared a similar post about a year ago, same thing happened this past Tuesday. I had made a 1:00 appointment for Tuesday June 29th of course I arrived a few minutes early, Lance Cunningham Ford Service Department is under expansion construction so a service writer meets me in the parking lot, writes up my service order for standard oil change and tire rotation. I did notice two other vehicles in line in front of my awaiting service, it took from 1:00 pm to 3:20 pm to get oil change and tire rotation. Granted it was less than $60.00 but 2 hours and 20 minutes sitting in the showroom waiting room with nothing to do but drain my phone battery, (the only television was showing repeated Lance Cunningham commercials). I could have had my oil changed at Valvoline in less than 20 minutes and went to Sam’s Club where I purchased the tires and had them rotated and at least shopped at Sam’s for an hour, but because I wanted the work done by the dealership I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes. I actually called back to the service center and asked for the service writer but was told that he was with a customer but would call me back, he never did. I was later told that once again service only had 1 oil change/tire rotation tech on duty, and the service technicians of course were not going to do oil changes. Nothing against Lance Cunningham Ford but I will not be going back there for my 5,000 mile oil change and tire rotation anymore. That’s twice they have made me wait over two hours, I just get bored to easy and I expect better customer service.
I was lied to at service had a of problems at this dealership. They never call me to check up on my problem .
Service dept is great. Treat you like a long standing repeat customer.
The service advisor was very professional and explained everything my car needed and in detail. Friendly and knowledable. Very satisfied with the work.
These guys bent over backwards to take care of me. Had major front end damage and I was worried it would never look right. Just got it back and it’s absolutely perfect! Highly recommend! Johnny on the spot with communication!
I had a recall. Ted Russell was not interested in helping me take care of this issue. I called Lance Cunningham, they set up an appointment and got me in immediately. The service representative was very nice and helpful. He showed me to the waiting area, free muffins, coffee, and cold beverage selection. I was in and out in 50 minutes. I couldnt have been more positively impressed. There was no charge.
Great dealership and great people.
Quick and excellent service. loved how they treated me,my wife, and our truck. will be going back
Friendly, quick and speedy services. Definitely recommend. I brought my Lincoln vehicle to 2 other Local dealerships for a recall(scheduled appointments too) and they advised it would take 2-3 days and couldn’t provide a loaner vehicle or anything to help. Thankfully this place helped me with taking care of the airbag recall and also provided a loaner vehicle. When I decide to purchase a New vehicle, I will definitely go here for the purchase .
Best customer service experience overall best transaction of buying a pre-owned vehicle I simply do love my 2017 nissan armada go see my boy Donnell Smith best salesman I have ever had he even delivered my armada to me I definitely would buy from him again thank you Lance Cunningham Ford it was a pleasure doing business with you
***WORST EXPERIENCE EVER*** DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR/TRUCK TO THEIR BODY SHOP. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF, THEY GIVE YOU ONE QUOTE AND THEN TURN AROUND AND SAY ANOTHER AND ONCE I TURNED MY LEXUS OVER TO THEM, IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET MY CAR BACK AND WHEN I TRIED CALLING TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY CAR, I GOT THE RUN AROUND SUCH AS NO ONE ANSWERING IN THAT DEPARTMENT. THEN WHEN I DID GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE, I WAS TOLD MY CAR WILL BE READY THE FOLLOWING MONDAY AND AFTER WAITING HALF THE DAY TRYING TO GET A HOLD TO SOMEONE, I WAS THEN TOLD TO ME THAT MY CAR WANT BE READY UNTIL THAT FRIDAY AND AFTER WAITING HALF A DAY ON THAT FRIDAY, I STARTED CALLING TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON AND EVEN THE SALES DEPARTMENT TRIED CALLING ON THE INTERCOM AND STILL NO ANSWER, THE AROUND 5PM THAT EVENING, I RECEIVED A CALL LETTING ME KNOW THAT THE MOUNDING AROUND THE TIRE HAD BROKE AND THAT IT WILL BE NEXT MONDAY BECAUSE THEY HAD TO ORDER THE PART. THIS WAS MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND. ON MONDAY 05/10/2021 I WAITED AGAIN FOR SOMEONE IN THE BODY SHOP TO CONTACT ME, SO I DECIDED TO GET ME A RIDE DOWN THERE TO LET THEM KNOW I WAS THERE TO PICK UP MY, THEN I WAS HIT WITH AT FIRST A $1000 BILL AND AS I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT MY DEDUCABLE WAS $500 THEY THEN TOLD ME THAT GEICO TOLD THEM THEY SENT ME A CHECK IN WHICH I ONLY RECEIVED A CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $261 AROUND THERE BUT GEICO WAS TELLING THEM TO GET THE MONEY FROM ME BECAUSE THEY SENT ME MORE AND THAT WAS A LIE, SO QUINN GOT ON THE PHONE WITH GEICO TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON AND GEICO SAID THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO VOILD THE CHECK AND JUST STOP BYE AND BRING THEM THE CHECK. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD DEALING WITH A CAR DEALERSHIP*** DONT TAKE YOUR AUTO TO LANCE CUNNINGHAM FORD IN KNOXVILLE, TN. LETS BE VERY CLEAR, THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!
Drennon & Cole are great professionals. They did me a Big favor, whether i bought from them or not. Appreciate their customer service & wanted to voice my satisfaction. Thanks & good luck in 2021!
Traveling and had an oil leak on my truck. Called around and they were able to get me in. Fixed the issue and was on my way. Great service department with knowledgeable techs. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice people. I may trade w them even though a saleman was tying to slip in front of another salesman for the sale. That is just poor etiquette... just saying...
Went to the Parts Department to get the size of a nut that goes on the starter solenoid.... they gave me the 2 nuts! Awesome people here! Talk about post sales support!
The people there are so friendly and nice
I would say I was treated very well, thank you to Mack and the mechanics, I was from out of town and needed assistance that day, Mack and mechanics took the very best care of me and got me on the road, Thank you. Advice for F250 diesel owners never pour DEF fluid on accident in you gas tank. What a lesson. This dealership made it a priority for them to help me and made me feel better about what I had just done to myself! The best dealership experience I have ever had.
The staff was rude and said they would do things like detail the car and replace some small items on the car and then didnt follow through. They talked about customers so that the customers could hear them.
Scam artist ! They make money off people who cant do math. They were asking 40998 and went up to 52,714 on this truck that has been owned by 2 owners and only worth 35k and they were saying that they gave me 8 k for my car which is worth atleast 10k. Simple math you subtract what they give you from their asking price then you add back your negative Equity back plus taxes. Stay away CON ARTIST!
Great sales staff really on point with fast info and super easy to deal with
We bought a truck from here a couple years ago. The sale was fine as is the service department for oil changes and such. The problem is trying to get a call back when you leave a message. One day the truck had no electrical power at all, I called to ask if there was an anti theft system I may have activated and the lady said I would get a call back, none ever came. The second was while calling about an extended warranty and had to leave message with financial dept, again no call after 2 messages. Would have been 5 stars if not for ignoring calls.
I brought my car in for service for a recall and got it back covered in sap and pollen.
I called about getting heated seats for the truck my son bought from them. They dont do it there was was very nice and have me the name and number of the place that does it for them. Very nice
Jimmy was terrific as well as Rhett on the phone. Jimmy listened attentively to my concerns and stayed in contact with me throughout my repair process. They are honest and straight forward. Exactly what I needed. I HIGHLY recommend their service department to anyone.I
Good buy on a 2019 mustang gt. Richy bush was very helpful and straightforward. I found their car on car guru and then went to lance Cunningham fords website. Richy contacted me and sent a video of the mustang. The deal started at home, and I got a price I liked. He set an appointment for the next day. I went down there the next day and the numbers were right, so I drove home with the mustang. Good people to deal with.
Went here on a cold freezing night with hopes of test driving and buying an 2021 F450 King Ranch. I called before and ask Charles to have the truck pulled for me, we would be there within 30 mins.We had to wait for a few minutes for him to be found and eventually after 15 minutes in the snow, Charles pulls up with the truck filled with snow from the night before. My husband and I had to get up on the truck and wipe off all the snow on the front windshield. Not an issue...After the test drive, I tell Charles, I hate haggling over price, please just give me the dealerships bottom line. Patiently waiting for a while, and after two other people came and talk to me my wants/needs, the sales manager, Dexter gives me the worksheet with a bunch of numbers, including ridiculous documentation fees, non-tax fees, my rebate, less their environmental protection package, which was explained and sounded like another dealer markup. Bottom line ended up being the MSRP sticker price.I asked them if this was the best they can do they said yes. I left so disappointed, frustrated I just wasted 2+ hours in the cold and drove home empty. Charles and Dexter both called me again trying to earn my business. With the internet and e-commerce so easy and seamless, not only did we buy from a Ford dealership a few hours away, they offered to deliver the truck to me, and charged me NO other line item and NO documentation fee, and they told me about my rebates and told me their net number, the other dealership even showed me their invoice sheet.
If you are needing transmission work take it elsewhere or buy a new car. It will be a lot quicker than having them work on it. One of my company vehicles had its transmission go out and at 38 days later it still isn’t fixed
I bought a used car from them. Test drove it and it drove fine (there was one light on the dash from a turn signal that was out). It’s a diesel VW Jetta. The bulb light was out as mentioned and there was corrosion on a hose under the hood that we pointed out to them. They sold it to me “as is” because they were “sending it to auction and didn’t want to spend anymore money on it for maintenance” and literally that night the DEF light and a tire pressure light came on. I thought it was normal, tried filling up the fluids and airing the tires and the lights would not go off. The DEF kept counting down miles until my car shut off and throwing the check engine light. The dealership told me that it was not covered under warranty, and basically “so sorry this is happening to you”. They also said “you know it’s normal this time of year for tires pressures to be off and those lights to come on” as if I hadn’t tried airing them up/letting air out to fix the problem. This is a 2015 car with less than 65,000 miles on it and I need to drive it for work and school. I bought it thinking it had been serviced (at least minimally) and I could drive it off the lot with no problems. It’s since been a headache and the dealership refuses to do anything about it. I cannot believe that they would allow someone to drive a car off the lot that would eventually send a shut down message the SAME DAY and not do anything about it. I’m having to do all my dealing with Volkswagen directly. The salesmen here are nice and try to help, but the dealership as a whole is poorly run. I would not send anyone here.
Specifically about the parts counter customer service. The place is like a maze. Two people directed me to a counter with a bell. Had to ring the bell a half dozen times. Could hear a group of men laughing and cutting up. One of them finally came to the window. I try to show him what I need, he cuts me off midsentence and tells me I need to go to a different parts window. I got frustrated and walked out. Ill go somewhere else from now on.
Made a recent purchase there for a used vehicle. Drinnen H. was my salesman and was very accommodating. No pressure sale, quick purchase process and excellent followup after the sale. Thank you. First time purchase with Lance Cunningham and have no issues with a future purchase from them. Thanks all!!
We love Lance Cunningham Ford! We always go here for our car needs and/or buying/upgrading car desires. We especially want to give a huge thanks to Drinnen Hayes. He has sold my family four cars and counting! He is always there when we need him, and he definitely cares about what he sells! Thanks!
Courtney is very helpful had a great experience with her
Went to LCF to purchase a mini van for my wife. I was really impressed the deals being offered. You have to visit Greg B. at Lance Cunninghams! We felt at home with his expert knowledge of inventory in our price range and made us feel comfortable during the whole process. I felt valued as a customer and will be returning for future vehicle purchases.
After many attempts to resolve this directly with Lance Cunningham Ford, they have stopped responding to my emails. Id like to share my story to hopefully keep others from having a bad service experience like I did.The vista roof on our 2012 Edge stopped working recently. A plastic clip broke, causing it to not be able to close or open properly. When my wife brought it in to be looked at, a service advisor helped her. The car was kept for about an hour for evaluation, after which we received a call with the estimate to repair it. The service team also tried to get the glass closed completely so that it would not leak, but they were unsuccessful. The estimate to repair was far more than the car is worth (over $10,000), so we opted not to do the repair. We were charged $110.07 for evaluating the problem and attempting to close the glass. That evening, after I got home from work, we went outside to look at the car together. It was then that I noticed there were oily handprints on the headliner where one of the techs had been working on the sunroof. I take great pride and time in keeping this car in excellent condition, and my son and I often spend hours on the weekend detailing it top to bottom. Seeing this carelessness and mess was quite irritating since it would have only taken a quick glance to notice this before the vehicle was returned to us.On Monday, I called the service advisor back to discuss this with him. I asked him if his team would either clean it themselves or discount what we paid since I would now have to spend the time and money to clean it myself. He apologized and told me he did not see anything wrong before it left the shop and offered to have the detailing team clean it. I asked him when my wife should bring the car in for cleaning, and he told me to bring it by any time. He also told me that she could wait and that it wouldnt take very long.My wife showed up a little after lunch time the same day and quickly got it into the queue with a different service advisor. She was told that he would inform our original service advisor since he had been our contact throughout this process. She then went to the waiting area outdoors. After two hours, she noticed the car still sitting in the same spot. She tracked down the advisor that had helped her when she arrived and asked him about it. He seemed surprised that it wasnt done as he had informed our original service advisor. But apparently he had left early. He located the ticket at the now-absent advisors station for our car which had not been touched. They immediately got started and had her out the door in a few minutes. However, when I looked at the car the next morning in good lighting, with the headliner completely dry, the soiling was still visible. I had to do a second cleaning to completely remove the marks.Needless to say, between the sticker shock of the repair estimate, the handprints on the headliner, the $110.07 charge and the huge waste of time when my wife was forgotten about, we are very displeased with our recent experience.Weve had little issues in the past with Lance Cunningham Ford, but this was the last straw for us. Well be taking any future service or purchases to a different dealership.
The Service Advisor, Bryan Johnson was very professional. He kept me updated on the status of my car and made apologies when there was going to be a delay.
Parts department A 1
Not much to be said. The salesman was polite and showed us a few options but at this time their used car inventory isnt that great. Not a bad place though.
Drinnen Hayes is an awesome salesman. I went to look at one truck, but didn’t really love it. He took the time and helped me find a truck I love. I never felt pressured to buy and he made sure I didn’t just settle.
Worked with Rich for this purchase, all around a really nice guys and straight up with me. I was buying a truck from way out of state and he sent a picture to me showing some dents that werent really noticeable from their website pics, so I appreciated that. To earn peoples business you need to be honest and straight up and that is what I got when I visited and bought my new Ram from this dealer. Thanks guys!
Friend is getting her car fixed there currently. Had an appointment at 7 am yesterday, was lied to several times about it “almost” being done. Said they would call us at specific times, literally never once called, we had to call, until we FINALLY get someone to answer, but now they messed up and now have to fix it, but it should only be a couple more hours. which resulted in us sitting in their parking lot for a total of 9.5 hours. Finally, at 4:30, we are told they will not be finishing today. Really? Couldn’t have said something HOURS ago? Why agree on it being done earlier if it wasn’t gonna be ready? Begrudgingly agree to pick up the car the next morning, and he would definitely call us at 9:30. It is now 10:30, he has not called us, and we had to call, just to be told that he is not working today, and they will not have anyone else work on the car, so if will be an additional day, even though they literally only made the problem worse at this point. Save your time and money.
The best car buying experience I have had. Richie Bush went out of his way to help me get the car I always wanted. Very professional and timely. Together with finance and Cole, assistant manager, they worked as a team and gave me the most for my trade of any dealership in the east Tennessee area. Best Ford dealership by far.
Excelent! Ask for John McCarthy. Hes a great salesman and he wont disapoint.
I just bought an Audi Q5 here and it was the easiest and most enjoyable transaction Ive ever had. We talked to Cole Fisher and Gregg Benson and they helped us get the deal we wanted and were so incredibly nice to deal with. We drove 5 hours to get the car and when we got there, Gregg had everything completely ready for us (even got it washed and filled the gas tank!!) I had been having bad experiences at other places for the past month trying to get a similar car and Gregg and Cole made this so enjoyable and exciting for me! Gregg even called the next day to check on us and everything with the car! I cant recommend Lance Cunningham Ford enough. We will definitely be using them in the future. They made the car buying experience exactly the way it should be!!
We could not have had a better experience at Lance Cunningham Ford and that was because of Drinnen Hayes. He went above and beyond for us. We stopped there on a Saturday afternoon needing a car but doubting wed get one (at least that day)... but thanks to Mr. Hayes, we left with a new car. I cannot recommend highly enough!
I had very good experience buying a truck here,
Jason Irwin in the service department was awesome; very professional. This is my first experience with the LC service department and I was very impressed.
Ive already written a bad review for the time it took and the poor service on my last oil change on my Mustang GT. I called another dealer to find out the price and after calling three times without an answer decided to just do it myself. I bought he oil and filter and did the oil change and looked in the manual for the oil capacity. It says 10 qt. with filter. I went back and looked at the receipt from LCF from the last oil change and discovered that they only installed 8 quarts. I checked the dip stick and if anything it is slightly below the full mark with 10 quarts. Better check your oil level after taking it to this dealer. Especially you guys that runem hard.
It turned out to be a very pleasant experience, with Jerald Smith walking all around the lot today, looking for the perfect F-150. I know we wore him out, but he persevered, and helped immensely. I did end up buying one today, and I’m glad I did. It was a long process, and Jerald made it as fun as possible. Thanks to the staff, and expert tutoring, I left feeling satisfied and grateful for all their help. It’s been many years since I purchased a new vehicle, and I appreciate the patience and understanding. Great job, and I highly recommend Lance Cunningham Ford.
If you have a super duty ask for Matt in truck hes the service guy at check in this guy bends over backwards to help with your issues VERY NICE GUY!! Never has let me down!!
I am absolutely infuriated with this establishment. My great grandparents are both 84 with diagnosed Alzheimer disease, and by doctors order, NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE. Not only did Lance Cunningham ford send a sales representative to my grandparents house to PICK THEM UP and take them to their dealership, they also sold them a brand new car. All of this despite their INABILITY to drive. Shame on you Lance Cunningham Ford.
Excellent service. I have bought several vehicles here and highly recommend them. I also highly recommend Drinnen Hayes as your salesmen. He’ll do you right and do his best to get you into the ride you want.
Preston Williams is THE salesman. What a great experience working with and through Preston. He went out of his way in so many ways and times and made it feel like it was not about money which means a lot when spending 80K! I will definitely recommend Lance Cunningham because of Preston.
Worst service I have ever had anywhere in my life paid 400 truck runs worse now. The engine light wasn’t on when we took it to them. It is now what did I pay 400 dollars for? They truly don’t care about their customers
Our car buying experience with this dealership was amazing! Preston worked with us and answered all our questions and showed that he truly valued our business. Everyone at the dealership was very nice and made sure you are taken care of. Hands down the best experience I’ve had at a dealership! Will definitely keep the amazing care and service we received in mind for future reference.
