I love this dealership! This is my fourth car purchase and my second with Brian Gabel. I work in sales so the customer experience is important to me. The numbers are clear and straightforward, Brian is patient and knowledgeable and I always feel welcome by the rest of the staff. Stay away from Grayson BMW! I called over a week ago & spoke with the service manager because my X5 is one of the many model years that have a flawed design in the sunroof drains, which eventually leads to a failing LCM (light control module). BMW pleaded no contest with the court case so they wouldn’t have to send out recalls to all of the owners & settled the case for 477.9 Million dollars. Unfortunately, nobody knows they have this problem until it’s too late. My X5 is usually kept under a carport. But a couple of weeks ago when we had pouring rain for over 24 hours straight, my X5 wasn’t under the carport. All of my lights went haywire while I was driving. When I looked up the problem, I found the 477.9 million dollar settlement. I brought this to the service manger’s attention, & he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about (yeah right!) & said he would call me back in 1 to 2 days. Now it’s 2 weeks later & still haven’t heard a single word from the guy. He shouldn’t even have a job there if he can’t even simply return a phone call! I wouldn’t take my bicycle to Grayson BMW, especially after reading other people’s reviews, especially the customer who had their car crushed by a heavy shop door because of some young, inexperienced idiot working in the shop.

We were here looking at a car to buy and we were approached by a sales person and when we asked to test drive the car he told us that we couldn’t test drive the car because we didnt look like the type of person who would/could buy that type of car. I assume it was because we are in our 20’s. We tried to explain to the guy that we were interested in buying the car but he wouldn’t even let us finish a sentence to explain ourselves . This was a very rude way to treat a potential costumer. I do not recommend this place and they have definitely lost my business in the future. We have since taken our business directly to Tesla themselves and I advise anyone else to take their business directly to the manufacturer as well.

So let down!! I recently bought a used vehicle from them. Now, I’m no stranger to buying used vehicles. I understand it is an as is purchase. HOWEVER. While we filled out all the paperwork they sent it to get freon, only to find out the ac doesn’t work. We were told that it would be replaced. First, they “ordered the wrong part” then “the part didn’t come in” and after dropping it off a third time, I get it back with a used part and still no ac. Now they will “see” if they can get the part, and oh no, we don’t get a loaner or anything like that. Be sure you have legal shield or a good attorney before doing business with these people. Luckily I do. Will keep posted

My husband and I just traded our Tahoe in at Grayson BMW and purchased a larger SUV. Our salesman, Steve Swaggerty was impeccable! Between the two of us, this was our sixth purchase from Steve and each time he has been nothing short of amazing. He even drove the vehicle to my home one evening for my husband to be able to see and drive it, without having to get my two young children out in the weather. When we lived out of state, we drove six hours to purchase a vehicle from Steve and it was worth it! His knowledge, professionalism, honesty, and willingness to go above and beyond is what will keep us coming back. Aside from Steve, Frank at the BMW store and Aaron at the Mini Cooper store were also wonderful.

Service department is non existent. First experience with the concierge to go over features of car on phone call was lacking. I was googling questions and giving her the answer. Second experience was a few weeks later when the satellite radio disappeared (radio id was literally gone). Called to see if I could bring it in and was told that was something the concierge would handle. Left a message over two months ago, call never returned. And now today show up for my first service on car. Made appointment 3 weeks ago and specifically said I will need a loaner. Was told no problem. Got there today and was told sorry, we only have two loaners and they were already given out. Wish I had stayed with Harper owned dealer.

Best dealership ever. Im 70 and have seen it all and. We live in Indiana and bought a car over the phone a bmw convertible. I got sick and after 1 year Grayson bought it back and out of the whole deal including warranty Im out of pocket about $3000.00 which is fantastic. They sent a driver at no cost to us and I have the money and absolutely no stress.

Purchased our fourth car from Grayson recently. Registration wasnt transferred properly. Second set of keys werent available after purchase was made, so we were told we would be helped with a duplicate. That never happened. Paperwork wasnt handled properly between the dealership and our bank (our agent at the bank told us that the dealership with rude and uncooperative with them). As far as I am concerned, that was our last Grayson vehicle and we can no longer recommend them to others.

No Accommodations were made, this is a straight up lie. I went to the Tesla Center near west town mall and was able to test drive a car there so, I don’t see how it would have anything to do with my age. This lie just reflects on the integrity of this dealership do not shop here.

The purchasing of the vehicle was pretty easy and relaxed, however my complaint is with their follow through and customer service.I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from them in February. I verified at the dealership that the vehicle did come with a second key, the sales lady was actually the one to mention it, and even checked the key tag to verify it as well. However after signing all paperwork and getting ready to leave with the vehicle, she told me that they could not find the second key, so they would mail it to me when they mailed my tags. Well, the tags came, but the key never did. I messaged my sales lady and her response was Havent received or found any keys on a Ford F-150. Believe me, if we did, I would mail to ya! Then I waited a while longer and decided to try and get in touch with someone else.  I was texted by someone and received...unfortunately we do not have it. When we sell preowned vehicle we get what we get. Sometimes we have luck and the 2nd one shows up in this case it didnt. I explained to them that I was told the vehicle had a second key before purchasing it and then when they couldnt find it that day, that it would be mailed to me. Then I asked if..since they hadnt found it.. would they have a replacement for it made. His only response was No sorry we dont replace keys. I responded that it is not a replacement, if I never received what I purchased to begin with.Didnt get a response.Needless to say, here I go warning everyone of the character behind those who work at this dealership. Please be aware that the easy and relaxed process of purchasing a vehicle from Greyson BMW is just that..a way to sell a vehicle, with any concerns for following through on their word and customer service. I am sure you will see comments throughout their reviews reminding customers that they purchased an As-Is vehicle, but again, I verified at the dealership that their was a second key and verified the key tag also states their are two keys(which I still have) and would gladly send a picture to  the powers that be, and was only told after signing all paperwork, and getting up to leave when she said that the key had been misplaced.

My friends purchased a Roush mustang and a Tesla Y. Sales person claim vehicle had everything Tesla offers including self driving package. They ended up taking the Tesla back because it did not have everything but the sales people claimed it had they had to take it back to Tesla where they were told they did not come with everything as stated by the sales people . You would think that Grayson would offer their money back or pay the difference . But they didn’t curious to see if they get an attorney

Purchased a used vehicle that started popping in the suspension day after I bought it. Took it in to find out it would be $900 for the repairs, there is no doubt this should have been discovered when they checked over the vehicle before sale as there was oil leaking from the struts and we’re severely worn as well as the strut mounts. I was told by Grayson the vehicle was sold at a discount to compensate for such problems. Horrible customer service, they do not stand behind the vehicles they sell, I would expect so much more from a franchised dealership, and bmw at that. Will not do business with again.

I hate leaving a bad review, but at this point I am not sure what to do. Back in February this year I bought a pre-owned 2019 BMW 330i. I absolutely loved this car and the sale went through fantastic. I truly felt taken care of and that this would be a dealership I could buy from again and again.After I traded my Bmw, I put in for my GAP refund. I was financed through BMW financial services and they said I was approved and they will push everything over to Grayson BMW so I can receive the refund. ($1200 refund btw.)This was all approved back in June, and they told me it would take 4-8 weeks for processing and I will receive in the mail. So cool, Im patient, Ill wait for it in the mail.Well come to the middle of August, I stopped in to Grayson to ask if I can speak to a Finance manager so we can get this situated since I still havent received it. He told me he would take care of me and I will be getting a call.After stopping in two more times, the receptionist informed him I was there to speak with him, again. I was returned with an attitude from the manager and that he will contact me.It is September 21st, 2021. I put in for my refund in June 2021. I just want to know where my GAP insurance refund is or I will be receiving it at this point.So, Buyers Beware. If you buy a vehicle from Grayson, Do not expect to get your Gap Insurance Refunded when I was told by the same finance manager that the insurance is 100% refundable.

We drove about 4 hours to go pick up the car and asked questions over the phone about the vehicle and if it had been through UCI. We got there to pick up the used car and understand that it is a used vehicle and it is as is but starting on our long drive back home it started to shake and to me it just felt like the tires were out of balance and didnt think anything about it. We got back to KY and made an appointment with our mechanic at home to have him do a good lookover and that I feel like it may be the tires out of balance. He called us after getting the car into the shop and said not only was it rusted pretty bad underneath (which was not disclosed to us and wasnt really the issue at this time) but we were lucky we made it home due to the brakes being bad including caliber, line, etc. He said we could have been killed, caught on fire or even killed someone else. I know that as used vehicle it is as is but a safety issue like this should have definitely been addressed by the dealer. First day home and were out over $700 for brake work and the wipers were broken. It started to rain on the way home and the wiper was broken so had to have that repaired as well first day home.I called and notified the salesman of the issue and he said he would talk to service since they have new people working but didnt offer to compensate for the issue. We purchased the warranty but we were not even able to use that because they didnt have it activated so we fought for a few weeks trying to get it active in the chance we needed to use warranty which we tried to use again since.We then had to get in touch with them because our temp tags were getting ready to expire and we still had not received our paperwork to take to the courthouse to get our tags on the vehicle. They asked when they were up and told them 2 days from the day we called. We received the paperwork overnight which was great but it was not completed (the title didnt have both parties signatures) so our courthouse would not let us get the car in our name until it was addressed. It was another week or so and they said they had some kind of paper that should take care of it and it was a printout from the DMV of the state of the owners showing only one party needed to sign. I informed them that I didnt feel this would suffice and they would not allow us to use this but would call and see. They did follow up with us and stated that we were right and our courthouse would not take the paper and the title needed both names so we had to mail that back and get it fixed. Needless to say it took almost 2 months to get the car tags in our name.We had recently privately sold a vehicle and we even had enough sense and decency to have all safety issues addressed before selling and in our case it was a bad wheel bearing. They could not even take care of brakes that to me is an issue that should not only not have been missed but addressed. Very disappointed from day one and will not be using them in the future.

Such a poor service dealership. I went there to test drive a car and it was my worst experience ever. They wouldn’t allow me to test drive the car cause I was under 21. What kind of nonsense is that? I have never experienced that in any of the dealerships I have gone to. They wanted the sales associate to drive. Then then allowed me to drive in the parking lot. how am I supposed to decide I want a 60K car based with someone else driving on the road or just driving in the parking lot. That is just ridiculous! The second thing is the sales associate did not about the car at all and she seemed very confused about everything. I am very disappointed with the quality of service. They should learn better on how to treat their customers.

I bought a used car from them 3 months ago and they still dont have a registration for me, will never call me back, the manger or anyone for that matter my salesman was Tyler.To comment back on the reply I got the sales manger told me to make this bad review so your company could get publicity. It has be 69 days and I still have no registration and I have yet to get a call back from General Manager after emailing and leaving him voicemails.

Bought a Prius and was told nothing was wrong with it, first week I had it, it was overheating and the brakes went out, after I spent over $1000 on those issues, the hybrid battery dies completely on our way to the beach, gonna cost another $1000 to get a used battery or $4000 for a new one, so the hybrid had a dead battery and they just sold it as it is.

A group of four of us went to test drive a pre-owned BMW M550i. Stickered around 50k. Obviously only one person was buying, but the feedback of all would have been helpful. The car itself is powerful, refined, and everything a BMW should be. The dealership experience was deplorable.First, the car was not as clean as it should be for a vehicle being offered at 50k. The wheels were coated with brake dust, the body of the car was similarly dirty, and the interior looked lightly vacuumed at best. This is a minor issue, but it foreshadowed what was to come.The saleswoman was abrasive. I can only presume she thought we were unintelligent simpletons who knew nothing about cars or, perhaps, BMWs? Her knowledge of the vehicle was adequate. Her explanation of the vehicle consisted of basically just reading the options list off but knew very little about the technical details of the vehicle when asked. On many occasions, she stated things that were simply incorrect. Again, this could probably have been overlooked.Then, we went for a test drive. There were four of us total. Two were told to stay behind because she had to go with us. I’ve *never* had a salesperson insist on going on the test drive. However, I was the one that asked the other two to stay behind. The saleswoman just got in the car and left the other two standing in 90-degree weather. I told her I thought it was odd she insisted on going when there were so many of us. She said it was Grayson’s policy. Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar, Audi, Maserati, etc. have no such policy. If that was an accurate statement, it just makes for bad business. Then, she asked me, who was sitting in the passenger seat to move to the rear seat so she could sit there. That was ridiculous, and I told her I preferred to remain in the passenger seat. She curtly replied “well I guess you will be explaining the features of the car.” I did, thankfully, since her first comment about the drive mode selector was wrong.The test drive itself felt more like a guided tour of West Knoxville. Having lived in Farragut for years, I know the roads and could easily have driven myself. She insisted that we not test out all of the features of the car. To quote her, “we aren’t going to be trying launch mode today unless you buy the car.” This is a performance vehicle, we should be able to test the performance aspects of it. Again, this experience has never been echoed at any high end dealers (even other BMWs when I was looking at an M240i for myself in Maryland).If you are set on a new BMW (they are great cars after all) I implore whomever is reading this to drive to Atlanta for better service. I cant speak to Graysons after sales service.If you are looking for a preowned BMW or another vehicle, go to LITERALLY any other dealer in West Knox. The Harper Group is fantastic, but Mercedes, Land Rover, and Lexus have also been fine.Most of this review was forwarded to the internet sales manager who did at least offer an apology (but no offer to fix the situation). He said he forwarded my comments to both preowned managers who did not follow up in the four days that elapsed.

I traded for a vehicle. On the way home the transmission was suspect. The next morning there was fluid under car. I took it to a dealer the that morning and the vehicle was 2 1/2 quarts low on transmission fluid and had a bad line that went to transmission cooler. They said they changed oil and didnt see any issues. $800 later the best they could do for me is suggest I should have bought a $2500 extended warranty. The vehicle has 50,000 miles. I might expect that from a buy here pay here car lot not Grayson BMW.

My daughter had her initialization stabilization light came on (2018 X1). (Grayson service replaced 2 tires in June). Tuesday, they told her she needed an alignment and 2 more new tires. The car only has 34k miles. I told her not to repair and bring it home to the dealer we bought the car for second opinion Grayson said it was safe to drive.Today I Just brought to United BMW in Ga. it turns out the car needed alignment as the steering wheel was off 70 degrees. However the dealer unequivocally told me we didn’t need tires. This leads me to believe I didn’t need tires in June from Grayson.Entire service at United was all of 1 hour 20 minutes whereas Grayson took 2.5 hours to potentially misdiagnose an issue.I expect more from Grayson BMW! I will not use them ever again. This is what gives dealers vs repair shops a bad name.

**BUYER BEWARE** I purchased a used vehicle from them this past week and I want to give you the next customer a run down. I noticed some small issues while test driving and told the salesperson the issue. I kindly asked if we could get the car on the rack to have it checked out to see what it could possibly be. I was denied. Was told it was not possible and aloud. Was also told that there was no money in vehicle to have anything fixed. Mind you I bought car at asking price. So yes there was money. On the way home the rear wiper fell off. Literally. Problem 1, problem 2 check engine light came on. O2 sensors are shot. They cleared codes before customer can see. Problem 3 there are 4 active recalls on this car that they sold. Most big dealerships Ive dealt with take care of those for the safety of there customers before turning the car over. Problem 4: the breaks were completely shot in the front. No rotor left and pads almost gone.. just spent $200 replacing pads and rotors.. problem 5: The front 2 struts are shot and popping while turning.. problem 6: also showed them this at the dealership, the spare tire is covered I water from leaking, was told its normal.. .all this within the first 3 days on a $14k car. So the dealership isnt going over there cars and checking for safety issues at all. I have a family of 5 in this car. I have pictures and documents of all the back and forth with the salesperson that ghosted me after I told them all the issues.. Please use extreme judgement with this place..*****Update*****. (11-2-20) Tried multiple times to reach the GM today to find him unavailable and left call back messages to be ignored.. Only proves my point.. You know how to reach me if you really care to help.

We drove two hours to test drive a used Jeep at this dealership. When we get there and start the Jeep, it has a tick in the motor. After talking to the Sales Rep and the Sales Manager, we caught them in several lies, wherein the Sales Manager admitted that he knew the Jeep had the ticking sound and didn’t bother to let us know. We also found that the Jeep had a massive oil leak. The Sales Manager said, “that was why he was selling it at such a good deal.” It would have been nice to know that before we took time off work and drove two hours, just to have to drive another two hours back home empty handed.

I pulled my car, a 2017 Chevy Cruze, into the service area on a rainy Wednesday with a nail in my back tire. I told them that I was going to have to get a new tire at a place up the street, but that I wasn’t going to make it there on this back tire, and that I really didn’t want to change to the spare in the rain myself....I threw myself on their mercy and asked if the service department would put the spare on for me. And they did! The guys in the service area could not have been nicer. Especially considering I did not buy my car there, or pay them any money for anything. I hope that their good deed does not go unnoticed....I am talking to you, karma! 🥳

If I could give no stars I would. Purchased a car from this dealership last week, the sales woman Maria, assured us the vehicle was in perfect condition other than cosmetic issues. After driving it around for a few days, we had a mechanic look it over to make sure everything was ok. The mechanic informed us that one of Turbos seemed to be going out ($5000 fix). We made several calls to the dealership about this issue and got nothing but rude comments back to us. We then went to the bank to see if there was any way out of our loan so that we could take the car back, we were then informed that the loan hadn’t even been approved yet due to a paystub being needed. After this, we called the dealership and told them we are bringing the car back. When we get there, our sales rep Maria tried numerous times to get said paystub from us so that she could lock us into the car knowing that we wanted to take it back. When we told her we were not giving her the paystub, she lost all sense of professionalism and started cussing me and my partner out and causing a big scene. My partner is 19 and I am 21. This woman does not deserve to have a job after the way she acted. This is the most unprofessional dealership in Knoxville. Beware of going here. They WILL lie to you! We got extremely lucky that we were able to bring the car back due to the loan not being approved, or we would have been stuck with a horrible car that we paid full price for.

Just recently bought a 2015 suburban ltz from Grayson bmw the suburban seemed to have ran good when test driving. When signing the papers the car salesman had insisted on having it detailed (it was spotless) so come to figure out they had took it in the garage to clear the diagnostic trouble codes off so the check engine light wouldn’t come on. We get it home and drive it a couple days just around town and the check engine light came on so we took it to a local mechanic and now without out even having the car two weeks we have to buy a new transmission. ($5000) So I was honestly disappointed that the dealership that has such good ratings would try to slide one over on someone like they did but they sure got me.

Will has ALWAYS taken care of me anytime I needed service or had an emergency repair. He is really the sole reason I would go here. He goes above and beyond anytime I’ve had to deal with them. I really hope they keep him around, as they are really lucky to have him.They do good work, but are obviously pricey compared to cheaper shops like Kadunza (also highly recommend these guys). If you deal with them, be sure to ask for Will.

Let me just say I had a great overall experience here. Herb Lambert was my sales rep and I went in looking for one car and saw another car that I’ve been smitten with for years. A 2nd gen Lexus IS. Herb had me test driving it within minutes and within 30 minutes the paperwork was ready. He personally had the car washed, detailed, filled up the tank, replaced the key fob batteries and promised free work for the car (refinishing the wheels, and fixing paint chips) he responded to my texts very quickly and made the car buying process much more enjoyable.
