Jack’s has become one of my favorite studying and conversation spots. I love to sit in the back patio at the Gay St location. It’s a perfect nature oasis right in the middle of Old City. And all the goodies inside are great to browse through for a study break or conversation starter. As for coffee, they have the best seasonal lattes at the perfect sweetness level. Stop by Jack’s for an enjoyable local Knoxville experience!
Game changer. If you love Knoxville and local artists this is the spot. And then if you LOVE GREAT coffee and artisnal hot drinks on top of that.. youre in heaven. I went to this wonderland yesterday and my mind was blown. All of the items for sale in the store are completely original and make by locals. I am very impressed with Jacks and cannot wait to return. I am so happy Knoxville has gems like this place ... Doing great Jacks if Knoxville!
Lots of unique merchandise (I especially like the propagation station) but the service was too slow to be a practical coffee shop. We ordered 2 drinks and 3 food items on a Saturday morning and each of the 5 items came out separately over a 30-40 minute period. It wasnt even crowded.
Jacks is the best around! Not only is their Fruit Bomb latte life changing, but so is their back patio, locally sourced gifts and friendly baristas. Don’t walk but run to Jacks! Yum!
Delicious coffee and chai latte. Yummy cookies. Staff was helpful and efficient.First Friday was delightful.
I met the owners week one of them opening their first location. My roommate and I had seen it on our daily commute home and wanted to stop by, but unfortunately were closed. They were inside, saw us, greeted us, and welcomes us in despite their hours! They are delightful, and care deeply for the people they serve! Team Jacks till i die. 5 stars over and over again.
Amazing little local shop, and the coffee and matcha drinks are seriously top-notch. The baristas take their time to prepare each order with care, which translates into consistently great drinks!
Great coffee shop with interesting odds and ends for sale. Good shop to visit when all the other shops are packed as its between Market Square and Old City
Walked past it and I was very intrigued by their lavender latte. It was delicious and even though theyre only serving on to go cups the barista was still able to pour me a beautiful design. The coffee bean itself was delicious. Wish my stay in Knoxville was longer just so I could return to this coffee shop.
Nice service and atmosphere! I love to get work done on their outdoor patio in the back. They have free wifi and charging outlets. Oh and their coffee is very tasty. Perfect shop for small gifts.
Wow amazing cuppa! Jeez! Fell in love with the Blooming Guatemalan, & I think using a light Guatemalan in a cortado made an experience Ive never had before. Wonderful! Wow! I love all the creativity happening in that place, joined with herbal bliss! Close to my heart. When we come back to town it will definitely be a must stop 💕
I love a “goods” store that has good goods. For such a small space, we spent a lot of time here just walking around. The vibe is great and the trinkets are very cool. I will say the plants are kind of ridiculously priced, but i’m no stranger to the gentrification of the houseplant market. The Decent Espresso machine is sort of a gimmicky thing. In my experience, they are extremely difficult to operate even for a seasoned barista, and after 15 minutes of watching the baristas struggle to navigate its infamous technical difficulties, I decided to just sit down. It’s not a bad place to be stuck for a minute, but my opinion is that if you’re going to go for something as daring as a Decent Espresso machine, make sure your baristas know how to trouble shoot it. Thankfully they were both very nice.
I absolutely LOVE Jacks! They are locally owned and are one of the biggest supporters of the Knoxville art community. As one of their previous First Friday artists, I can tell you they treat you like royalty. You’d be hard pressed to find a more relaxing and positive place in town.
A fascinating little shop, well worth a visit. The staff was kind and friendly!
This is such a cute place!! I bought a tiny little watermelon peperomia plant and a “no bad days” pin for my apron. I didn’t get a coffee but that just means I have to go back soon! Definitely check it out if you’re in downtown Knoxville.
I absolutely love Jacks! The employees are always sweet and so helpful. Jacks carries a good selection of gifts and I always leave with something perfect. Definitely check it out!
Mark and Logan are literally the most awesome people to ever exist! This coffee shop radiates a welcoming environment from the vinyls that are always being played to the baristas like Rachel who will give honest recommendations based on your preferences of coffee. You’ll go in for coffee and come out with coffee, t-shirt, stickers, pins, cool stuff you didn’t know you needed, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Walking to Jacks during my lunch break is one of my favorite adventures--it is one of my favorite makers places. I usually order an oat milk mocha and browse the merchandise. They now have easy open seating as well.
Lovely, relaxed vibe. Super cute goods (love our scruffy day mug!) and really friendly staff :)
Really cool venue and the best pour over Ive ever had.
LOVED visiting this cafe! Loved all the products, cant wait to go back! Got a bunch of pins!
This is such a bright spot in Knox! Employees are so friendly & the environment is incredible. Always a stop when were in town.
Such a fun and creative company, with wonderful customer service. Cannot wait to see the new store location!!
Love it. Good coffee great shop.
Love the attention to good products and well sourced materials. This is the perfect place to find gifts for friends, wedding showers, house warming gifts, anniversary gifts, visitors, you name it! Its great to see a store with East Tennessee pride and artists. The person at the counter was so kind and inviting. She made a divine lavender latte. Definitely coming here for all of my gifting needs.
Highline Coffee and Espresso is a whole vibe. I googled “Best Espresso in Knoxville,” and they were the top google search. Great coffee and great service.
Unique items that no other store has. I really love their vintage postcards they have. Been sending some to my friends across the country and they love them!
I’m really excited to see Jacks of Knoxville. I LOVE their focus on handmade, local goods - such an asset to build a vibrant culture in the community. They’ve got pillows, body products, cards, prints, planters, mugs - so many more really beautiful items. They have a great selection! (Oh let’s not forget chocolate!) I also noticed a few spots for people to come grab a seat and work. The space is bright and light filled - really tasteful. Also, Highline coffee is fabulous! I am fairly new to Knoxville and I’m hoping to see these businesses really thrive because locally owned and focused really helps keep the city’s culture vibrant and creative! It also provides me a place to grab items I won’t buy in a big box store! Lets keep them going, Knoxville!
This is located in Jacks on Gay St. The girl working the counter was very friendly and knew a lot about the local products in the store. The coffee and tea was great. Must visit! Plus they have a ton of cool locally made soaps, clothes, trinkets and more!
Spent the last week in Knoxville and had the pleasure of stopping in at Highline Coffee with my family twice while in town. The best iced lattes Ive ever had. Knoxville has an outstanding coffee culture and Highline Coffee is at the top of the list in my opinion. Friendly folks, excellent space inside Jacks of Knoxville, and consistently delicious coffee. Spread the word.
Beautiful handmade items crafted here in Knoxville. Perfect for finding meaningful gifts for family and friends. I always end up getting something for myself too! The owners are kind and super helpful.
Amazing coffee in a quiet place to sit and enjoy your morning. The store has artisan goods from both locals and other small businesses in the South.
No one in the Knoxville area makes a better cup of coffee. I had a latte with oat milk (which I had never had before) and it tasted awesome. You have to try this place out!
Really good iced matcha 10 of 10 would drink again
Expensive, chai was good, a little weak. Meter pay to park.
Really love this coffee dang
