Decent coffee but it is your standard small coffee shop in a bookstore setting. Be aware: as of 7/5/20 the cafe will be closed indefinitely - although the barista did not explain why, I suspect this may be due to Knox Countys mandatory mask-wearing policy for retail stores (the cafe takes up maybe 10% or less of the bookstore). As with everything during this pandemic, theres no telling how long Cafe will be closed for, whether this was about the countys mask-wearing policy, or just some decision Books-A-Million corporate came up with. 🤷♂️🤷♂️😷😷
Always enjoy our visits here. The coffee is awesome. The service is great. The ambiance is perfect!
Consistent coffee and espresso. Decent atmosphere. Ok selections
The girl (Emily) working the counter was great--nice, friendly, personable. Im very disappointed you got rid of fresh-baked cookies, though. The new pre-made ones are just ok compared to the previous ones
Coffee is great, the location works if your shopping in book a million and want to chill.. But i found the staff less than personable.
Good place to relax and, have a great cup of coffee
Grant is awesome! Very personable and knowledgeable!
Great staff that makes a real effort, free-wifi, and comfortable seating.
I wish they would keep more variety of food.
The coffee is fine and staff are friendly (warning: if no one is at the counter, give it a few moments as baristas seem to have double duty stocking shelves). So why a 3-star review? Ambiance. This location used to be a grocery store - the interior feels outdated and cavernous. Also the Wi-Fi is very slow and your windows PC will protest that the Wi-Fi gateway certificate has expired and is not secure.
There is a really strong barista here that makes tasty, fun, and original beverages
Worst coffee ive ever tasted!!!!
