This is not a star, only way to post how badly this company has ripped their customers. I order and paid in full for a futon. Do not use this store!Credit card disputed. They better not try to declare they have delivered my order like they previous review!
I ordered a futon bunk bed with the upgraded innerspring mattresses on 2/11/2016. I chose the floor model of the frame and the rest had to be ordered. It took nearly a month after the date I ordered for them to arrive at my home. The gentleman who delivered and installed put the top frame/landing on backwards and stripped the screws trying to correct his error to put the side rails on properly. He ended up having to screw new holes in our otherwise brand new bed. The wrong twin size mattress was delivered. It didnt have the innersprings. It was just the basic futon mattress and the cover wed ordered for the twin mattress hadnt been delivered to the store yet. I called World Futon to let them know the wrong mattress was delivered. They advised they would order the correct one. Now they arent answering their phone or returning my calls. I still havent received the twin mattress cover or the correct mattress and it is 4/18/2016 - more than two months after I originally ordered. Im giving two stars instead of one because Amber, the associate I have spoken with, at least seems like shes trying to help and hold together what appears to be a sinking ship. Two months, guys. Get it together.
Do not order anything online from this company! We ordered a futon and chair from them in early March of 2016 and its now April 21 and we still dont have the futon or the chair. No one ever answers the phone at the store. They never call back. After a month they emailed me when I threatened to cancel the order through the credit card. Their story was that the items were on back order but that they would be going out soon. We waited another week and emailed about the order, they said that the items were still on back order with no date when they would be available. Its one thing to let the customer know up front that something is on back order, its totally another to have to bug them to learn that it is. We would have cancelled the order at the beginning if we knew the items were on indefinite back order.We are currently disputing the charges with the credit card company and have heard nothing from this sorry excuse of a company.*Update 5/12/16The company has told the credit card company that they delivered the futon! These people have some nerve. We still do not have a futon and are continuing the dispute with the credit card company...
