I drive for a local LTL company in Knoxville. We go here regularly for deliveries and pickups. The staff have always been quick to get you taken care of whether it is unloading or loading. They do close for lunch from 12:00pm to 1:00pm each day so you just need to keep this in mind when doing your route. If possible just work around the freight and come by before or after this period and you won’t have any troubles. They do a great job of labeling the freight and have all the proper paperwork ready to go. They remind you if you need placards for the shipment or not which is very helpful sometimes when you are in a hurry to get to the next stop. I’ve asked them move a piece of freight for me that was my next delivery that I needed moved to the back of the trailer because I was unable to move it myself with my pallet jack either due to size or weight. They never hesitate to help me out with stuff like this which makes them a great business to be at when you need a little help. Not all businesses are as eager to help you if it is not their freight and some will refuse to touch it at all. If it weren’t for businesses like Industrial Battery that are willing to help drivers out from time to time when we need it we would not be able to do our jobs as efficiently as we possibly can.
