We stopped in on our way home to Ohio after a brief trip to Pigeon Forge. The store was having a Practical Magic themed Open House. Great selection of stones, herbs, incense, and various other items. Not a large shop, but you could easily spend a few hours looking at everything. Bonus: cats!

Disappointed, looks cool from the outside but you cant enter without a mask. I dont own masks anymore and I dont partake in the fear culture. So unfortunately I wont know if its as cool as it looks from the outside.

So I drive past this place all the time. Ive stopped 3 times, cause I really have been looking forward to visiting.I just looked on the Google listing.... closed every day??One time someone actually was there, but the door was locked. They came, gave a card. Im from out of town, so I dont always know when Ill be able to stop by. I understand not being able to have regular business hours, and staffing issues.But Im done trying.The last time I had looked at the Google listing, and they did have regular hours.Maybe this might work for locals who are already committed to this shop. But for anyone looking as a potential visitor, just skip trying. Unless youve got it bad to get in, its a lot more effort than Im interested in giving, to a place that may or may not be worth my time. LolBut the owner jumping the last reviewer, because they didnt do their due diligence, and when she said shed looked online & called & the voicemail said the hours. Thats a big enough sign to show me about potential visitors. Lol

Absolutely wonderful place with an amazing vibe. The shopping bazaars once a month are so fun and help me stock up. The owner is extremely attentive even when the shop is packed. If you have a question and patience to wait your turn she will absolutely take care of you. Shes also very great at making those new to the practice feel welcomed and ease.

A good friend of mine highly recommended this store to me for crystals and information on all things curious. The store looks absolutely amazing from the outside looking in but unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to shop here myself yet.

Any practitioner of the Craft, in any form, knows you reap what you sow three times over. I truly wish this for the owner because of her lack of customer service.If I could do half a star, I would. I drove nearly an hour to find this place, calling first and hearing the hours on the answering machine (it didn’t say it was closed). I arrived and was greeted at the locked door by the OWNER, who told me plainly that she was leaving for the day (it was an hour before her listed closing time) and that shopping hours were limited and on the website. Then she tried to sell me a reading (tarot)! If she was in such a hurry, what’s with that? Anyway, she brushed by me and locked the door and left.(Obviously, I refused the reading, why would I let someone I just met into my psyche?)Good luck getting in this place. If the materials are as sub-par as the service, save your gas and go online!

Ok, I would LOVE this place, if it was consistent, open more often (without having to pay to get in) and I didnt have to do extensive research just to find out a PORTION of what MIGHT be in the store this month...The first time I looked it up on Google maps, the hours said 24 hours (which it still does) so I drove the hour to get there on a Friday at 2pm. A reasonable time for any store. There was a sign on the door that a class was in session but, luckily, there was a man outside that had been smoking who told me that I had to book an appointment to shop. I found that odd, so I went to the website posted here and it says you can possibly shop before/after classes and events but the shop was going to be open 5 days of that month. I looked at the half dozen items on the online store, and they were sold out of the only thing I saw that I needed. Not willing to spend $35 to find out if Im gonna like a store, I waited 2 weeks for the bazaar.Great little store! Nice people. Interesting items and nice atmosphere. I even found a basket full of the candles I had been looking for before. Not knowing that they had so much to offer(since a tiny fraction of their inventory is on the online store) I wasnt able to make any sort of list beforehand and felt like I might have bought a whole lot more, if Id known.More, a few months later, I went back and there was a giant selection of gemstones that hadnt been there last time... Thoroughly confused, I went home to look at the online shop again and found nothing new. It even STILL says sold out of the candles that are currently sitting on a shelf in the store. And Google maps still says 24 hours every day except Sunday.Finally, I went to their Facebook page(which Ive never done for any other store ever, since I dont use Facebook much) and there are posts of some random inventory every so often, but hardly tells you much, especially prices.So, if youre looking to casually browse a cute little shop once a month for random stuff to catch your eye, or have the money to spend on classes and sessions to be able to stock up more often, this place is great. But, if you are looking for a consistent, reliable inventory with clear pricing as well as convenient store hours and clear scheduling, you might want to extend your search.

Beautiful shop. The only metaphysical store I have found in the area that caters to all my witchy needs. The owner, Meleah is lovely and knowledgeable. If you have any questions she is always willing to help. And if you can make it to one of the events she holds in store, I definitely suggest you try it out. I absolutely love this shop! Its so much bigger than I anticipated, with so much to offer. The owner is amazing. There are so many varieties of things to chose from, especially all the crystals and stones. Being as there isnt that many metaphysical shops in East Tennessee, I think Ive found my favorite. I would highly recommend!

Visited this cute little shop for the first time today and once i left i knew i’d have to leave a review. I love this strange and wonderful shop in South Knoxville. So many unusual things to look at and very unique to this area.I wanted to stick around and ask a lot more questions and look at more things but I only had so much time. Which is good because I can just come back and visit when its a little less busy. To my surprise there were a number of patrons in there because its the holiday season. I guess Im not the only one who likes to buy strange gifts for my strange and weird friends. A big thanks to this shop for being on the edge and for doing things a little different.

We booked a shopping appointment and misread that it was for a different day, and the owner very kindly let us in when she totally didn’t have to, and it honestly made the day for us! I do not normally leave reviews on anything but after visiting here, I just had to. I live south of Nashville and was only in the area for a vacation/work thing. The husband and I have visited almost every metaphysical shop near us so we decided to take this opportunity while out in east Tennessee to check out the shop. The minute we walked in, all stress left me and it was such a warm, homey feeling. Not to mention one her cats ran up to greet us. That was just a bonus. Selection was great and the prices were even better. Every thing we bought, we would pay twice the amount back home. We will definitely make the 3-4 hour drive once a month just for this shop.

I love this place so much! Ive been going here since they were in the house. Its the only place I go to for my metaphysical supplies and other really interesting stuff. One of my favorite places! And the woman who runs it is amazing!

These kind of shops are rare in this area. I found it to be a nice little shop and the staff is very helpful as well. She has a nice variety of things crystals, incense, candles. I didnt have a lot of time to actually look, but from what I observed.... Ill definitely be back!! I would definitely recommend this place.👍👍. Just beware of the highway.... Chapman Highway has been known to be a killer. Use extreme caution with this highway.

Curiosities shop is a very magical wonderful. The lady who owns it was very friendly to my parents & I. Plus I had a great time with that very sweet & cute cat of hers. I love that cat so much that I didnt even want to leave the shop. It was a wonderful experience.

My friends and I went here during our vacay to Tennessee and it was magnificent! So many unique peices! Crystals id never heard of! Candles, and herbs galore! We were also very impressed by the amount of Hoodoo items you rarely see, owner was very kind and knowledgeable, great vibes all around, would defnitley reccommend this place to any and all interested in magick or just on the spiritual path.

We love Curiosities and have been faithful patrons since Sutherland. Finding this store was one of the best things ever- there’s nowhere else like it in Knoxville or surrounding counties. Such a sweet atmosphere, owner and experience every time.

Ive been looking forever for something to regulate my energy output and finally found something here. Even though the hours can be a bit odd I finally managed to come here and lo and behold I found what I was looking for and more!The stones are wonderful and I love the incense selection as well as the tiny rune bottles. Though they didnt have many pendulums or Tarot choices overall I honestly can say Ill be back when I can!

Wonderful shop. Good selection and quality of supplies. Recently started carrying a selection of crystals which are both beautiful and affordable. The owner is knowledgeable about many different paths and religions and willing to help you find what youre looking for. They also have a really friendly and relaxed shop kitty. They also host a number of classes and offer reiki and tarot readings.Always worth a stop if youre near by and often worth a drive across town. My only reservation is that they have very limited hours, so check before you go.

Curiosity metaphysics felt like home ask question about certain crystals that I needed and what theyre used for and I got what I need it and I will be back to get more certain reasons for me Im going to get some other spices there are candles and things like that so I will be a regular customer but if you want something all natural better place to go.

They have two beautiful black cats that are super friendly. If youre a cat lover theyre reason enough to at least stop by. Past that I absolutely love this store because its different from all the other metaphysical shopsThey dont focus strictly on Chakras, healing, love and light etc. They have stuff for everyone. You can buy a bag of crystals and sage for healing but then turn a corner and find skull shaped candles and decorations, regular and inverted pentagrams, Athame/daggers and journalsFair warning though. Its a lot bigger than it looks. I intended to pop in, see if they have what I was looking for and pop out... Instead I was here for over an hour wondering around a store easily 4x bigger than it appears
