Mark is fantastic! I have had two sets of orthotics done by him and they are great and long lasting. Mark considers your foot needs fully - does not just address a single specific issue. He is knowledgeable and experienced and that is very clear when you meet and talk with him. He takes time to fully listen. And he cares that his product is exactly what you need. Went to Mark Kirschner with my dad for shoes for him. Mark spent a LOT of time with my dad making the molds to make sure everything would be perfect. We went back to pick up the shoes and they fit GREAT! I highly recommend him.

We visited Mark Kirshner for my husbands orthotics. He is diabetic and has a toe amputation. At our first visit, without looking at his notes, Mark asked my husband if he was missing a toe just from looking at his shoe!!! I knew at that point that we had finally found someone who was really experienced in his field. Mark took time to listen to my husbands concerns and created an orthotic that is giving him some much needed relief. We are pleased with our experience with Mark Kirshner and highly recommend him to anyone looking for foot relief.

I have been Marks patient for 4+ years. Prior to that, I had gone to 3 other orthotists in Knoxville and Mark is by far the most knowledgeable and patient. For the first 2 years I only needed diabetic shoes and orthotics. Mark introduced me to Mt. Emey shoes for the first time. They are excellent as are orthotics Mark makes. Last year Mark realized my R foot has deteriorated further (I have Charcot in both feet) and suggested I see a second ortho specialist in addition to the Dr. I had been seeing. She prescribed an AFO which required Mark making a mold and follow-up adjustments. This year, the AFO hasnt been enough to control the pain. My Dr. has me in a cast for the past several weeks. The doctor suggested the next step be a CROW walking boot. Mark made the time to explain the pros and cons of the CROW and will cast me for it soon. Wanted to try orthotics out for a while before reviewing them. At 1st try on he tweaked them and they have fit perfectly ever since. No more plantars fasciitis !! Job well done. If you want personal one on one interaction this is the place to go.

Got orthotic inserts made for shoes and tried them for a week or so. Mark told me to call if I needed them adjusted and he would work me in that day. I called with discomfort and left a message with no return phone call. I called back next day and told me I would have to make an appointment a for a week later. Good product but poor customer service.

I am happy my Podiatist referred me to Mark Kirshner Orthotics. I have many problems with my feet— flat feet; calluses; hammer toes; and failed bunion surgery. I have had custom made Orthodics for years. For over a year I suffered from knee pain in both knees due to the problems with my feet. I had Orthodics made twice by another company, but they only made my knee pain worse. What people don’t realize is that most suppliers of custom made Orthodics digitize your your feet. Mark Kirshner makes an imprint of your feet. Then he makes a plaster type mold of the impression, from there he crafts a true custom made Orthodics for you. Finally I have custom made Orthodics that work for me. My knee pain is greatly improved. I am very grateful to Mark. He is very knowledgeable and personable. His office assistant is very helpful too.
