Fox Moving did an outstanding job with our out of state move. Im late posting this review (the move was at the end of June) and cannot remember our crews names, but they were fantastic. They called us to confirm their arrival time the day before and arrived on time the morning of to load the truck. They worked fast and were very careful with our stuff. The same crew unloaded us on the other end. Once again, they were prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend Fox Moving!

We hired Fox Moving and Storage last minute and they were able to get a crew of 4 men and a big moving truck out to help us move from our apartment and a storage unit. They were very professional and fast. They were also on time, which I’ve heard isn’t always the case with movers. They were careful with our belongings and were cautious with the furniture to not ding our walls. My three boys wanted to help and all four men were good sports about letting them help even though my boys got in the way a bit. They had positive attitudes. We would definitely hire them again for a future move.

The guys that came out were exceptional! John, Calvin, and Brenden worked great and efficiently They were all very kind and respectful. This is the second time I have used Fox Moving and it did not disappoint at all. The price for value is spot on compared to others I have gotten quotes from. It’s hourly priced, and the guys did nothing waste a minute of my time. HIGHLY recommend this company. And if I ever have to move again, they will be my call.

Johnny, Rob, Marteen and Josh went above and beyond! They moved 9 large library wall units up a narrow set of steep stairs and out to the truck. They also moved a huge gun safe in addition to furniture and lots of boxes. They were very friendly and professional. We’ll ask for them when we have our household goods delivered in December! As retired military, we have moved approximately 30 times. These were the best crew we have had. Thanks, guys!

Would not recommend this company. We are not happy with our experience with Fox Movers. At first the lady on the phone who scheduled us was very nice to talk to, I had high hopes of picking the right company. When our moving day came, we waited around an hour for our truck to arrive. I called three times with no answer. Finally, I get a call saying they are short staff, and they are rescheduling us two days later. We had all our furniture ready to go to be moved. We ended up getting a U-Haul to move some of our furniture ourselves. On the rescheduled day, they were only 2 men instead of 3 men we originally booked. I had to call to get a price adjustment and they only gave us 5% discount, I asked for a 10% discount since they canceled, she was very rude saying that it was not negotiable. That was only $40 off our $800 bill. The two guys were very slow, and we still had to pay more than what we should have. Not happy.

We have used Fox Movers several times and it is always a great experience. Today Malike and Mike moved for us. They were both very professional and kind. They took great care in loading and unloading of our things. Great guys! Highly recommend Fox Moving!

We have used Fox Moving and Storage on three occasions recently. The first was our move from Raleigh, North Carolina back to Knoxville, Tennessee. I prepped everything before they came and boxed all of it up as well as padded and shrink wrapped my furniture. That morning Dantes crew showed up on time and worked quickly to load up the truck. We had about three rooms of stuff loaded and ready to go in under 2 hours. The next day they unloaded our items at our new home. Again on time and everything was done quickly. The second time we used them was to move items we placed into a storage shed on our property while the floors were being redone. Dantes crew were careful not to drag items across the floor and hand carried in the furniture into the house. I really appreciated that. The third time was to move items from a local storage center to our home and Chris team helped us with that move. All in all I was really happy with their service. It helps to have your items prepped for moving and dont forget to tip your moving team!

The reason I gave Fox one star is because: 1. They lost two glass shelves to my buffet, and intergral part of my buffet, never to be seen again. The buffet was the first piece of furniture they removed from the house and loaded onto their truck. I saw them remove the glass shelves first from the buffet. On following up, once we discovered they were missing (we opened every box), I contacted Fox and their salesgirl insisted they were packed/wrapped somewhere and in our possession. Their followup did not include a robust investigation to jog the memory of the two men who removed them. I asked for a robust followup ..perhaps they put them behind the seat of their cab for protection? Perhaps they could recollect ...if they thought it through. My emails were answered with silence and I ended up having to phone. All I got was a pat answer with no offer of compensation. 2. Despite the lost shelves, the first 3-man crew that arrived were very nice and worked hard. I went through the house and they left something in every room, which I pointed out, and they collected. They packed my artwork carefully. The salesgirl, Danielle lied to me about the process. They did not shrink wrap any furniture, as I was told they would. Couch pillows and material furniture were not shrink wrapped for protection, or a hall tree with a glass front. Their definition of shrink wrapping was to wrap plastic around a couple of times which they did for my couch, but nothing else. I had asked for my lamp stands to be wrapped - they werent. I ended up having to do that at the end. I paid for extra boxes, just in case, which they did not provide, but the supervisor took them away, except for two wardrobe boxes. 3. The supervisor of this chaos was high and mighty in his attitude and somewhat intimidating plus he was over an hour late in arriving. 4. They overcharged me. After several weeks I was able to get that discrepancy refunded. In conclusion, I am devastated about the glass shelves, being carelessly overcharged and being lied to by the sales girl. We paid handsomely for their services. It was an easy move for them since everything that could be boxed, was boxed by me in advance of their arrival and they unloaded into one storage unit. I even offered Danielle to look in every box herself. I have hired moving companies 3 prior times and never lost a thing. This was a huge disappointment considering the expectation and promises made by Danielle, their salesgirl.

My family hired Fox to move our large furniture to another house today. What was quoted as a three hour job ended up being a five hour job. They started the time at 9am when the first person arrived with the truck. No work started till the third person arrived 40 minutes later and breakfast was eaten standing in yard. One worker plugged his vape up in the house to charge. A worker lunged at my dog that was behind 5 foot fence because he was barking. Another worker was boxing the air toward my dog like he was going to fight him. Once furniture arrived at 2nd house after multiple breaks to look at their phones in yard, they placed furniture where they wanted and not as requested. A light bulb was broken over a bed while they placed the mattress. No attempt was made to clean the glass up and no apology given. My son is still getting glass off mattress and floor. A 600 dollar job turned into 1100 dollars. My daughter called to complain. She was told that the workers will be talked to so it doesn’t happen again. No attempt to compensate or make things right. Very unprofessional. After reading some reviews, I believe this is their standard quality of workmanship. Several houses have been sold in our subdivision. Instead of a giving a referral, I will tell my neighbors who to stay away from.- Fox.

Fox Moving is great. Great coordination by Danielle and excellent service by Kenny, Pierre, and Mike. This is our second experience with Fox and the same team. From the first call to walk through estimate to the last item unloaded they were perfect.Due to my real estate agents lack of planning we were incredibly rushed on moving day. Our move with Fox was fantastic! Danielle took excellent care setting up our move and scheduling Sonny to come do our estimate . When Sonny came he was very professional and made the estimate quick and easy. On the actual move day, Mickys crew did a fantastic job. One thing was damaged ( which happens, we understand), but the crew came back over the weekend and fixed it right up.

One thing Ive found out from moving alot is you get what you pay for. Read your contract and dont expect them to go overtime for you out of the goodness of their hearts. Always get the biggest stuff inside first and know what you have to pay if you go overtime or over a truckload. Read the negative reviews, nobody is complaining about them going slow. Fox is as good as any Ive used.

We have just finished moving my mother-in-law for a second time in three years with Fox Moving & Storage. This moving experience like the first one could not have been better. Living in a different state then her, I was able to do all scheduling and estimating remotely with Danielle who was pleasant to work with. As to the move itself, the 3 movers led by Luke could not have been more personable. The final cost was very close to the original estimate. They saved me all of the stress of doing this move myself. Gina quoted me 1 truck and 3 guys to move over 1900 sq ft and I gave her an inventory of my belongings over the phone. Once the crew started loading the truck they said that not everything will fit and to call the office. Gina stated she knew it was over 1900 sq ft, but one truck will only hold 1500-1600 sq ft and they will not come back for a second load. She said 2 trucks are normally sent for bigger houses, but they had no other trucks available. I asked why she didnt set me up with 2 trucks to begin with, which she couldnt answer. I also asked what they could do to help resolve the problem and she suggested I find a truck and some people to help me move the rest of my stuff. If I had a truck and people to move my stuff, I would not have needed to hire a moving company. The crew seemed to be overwhelmed and they did not fill the truck completely. I asked specifically for several big heavy items to be moved, which they left behind, along with about half of my belongings. After 5.5 hours, only a couple dressers from downstairs were moved to the new house and there was furniture and boxes left behind in every room upstairs, which was less than 1300 sq ft total. I am disabled and it will take weeks for me to get the rest of my belongings moved. I would not recommend or use this company again.

We have just finished a pack and move with Fox Moving & Storage and we are super impressed. By the time we started the conversation with Danielle in the front office and then met Sonny the Estimator, we knew were on to a good thing.Then Mickie (Team Leader) and his team turned up on time to start the process. Their communications was great and their attention to detail/quality was first class. Nothing was too difficult for these guys and they had a great team spirit. They even moved our grand piano and made it look easy.Over the last 30 years I have moved around a lot and Fox is probably the best I have come across. We were assured the company could move all of my belongings by the estimate/quoter well in advance as we are moving. So on the scheduled move day and 2 days before I have to be fully off the premises we get told by the contractor who showed up and would be doing the actual move they cant because of the drive way is too steep. No solution offered, just refund the 2 deposits I had to pay (mailed to me of course so Im out those funds in the mean time) and off the movers go leaving me scrambling from some distance away to find a sudden solution with out the funds or time.

The price was the best! The main 19 year old kid who seems to be in charge was a cocky, smarta.. He made very rude comments and wouldn’t listen to anything I said. He would totally ignore me and do exactly the opposite of everything I asked over and over and over. He was a very argumentative, know-it-all, and scratched our furniture because he wouldn’t listen to me. He just piled all the furniture in rooms and didn’t even place it where i asked him to put it, and went and sit in his car before the job was done. I had to help the other kid move the rest of the furniture. Would not recommend unless Fox realizes that an adult needs to be sent with these kids to make sure things get done correctly.

August 31st, Fox M&S delivered household goods to a new home across a narrow street from our home. It had been raining for 3 days from the remnants of hurricane Ida, leaving the ground really SOFT. You can only imagine the damage a heavy delivery truck can make on soft yard soil. I asked the driver to take a photo and send to his company management, which he did. Today is September 16th and I have not heard word one from the Fox M&S company to discuss repairs to my yard. Hence I wish to WARN future neighbors of deliveries made in your area by Fox M&S....watch your property for collateral damages!!!Harry A.(I live in Maryville TN using vpn internet connection!)

Did a terrible job. Broke CD Player. Tore whole in recyiner. Broke several items. Just put boxes in back room. Had labels on boxes did not put in each room. Did not finish job. Worker came back next day to finished charged me another$400.00 Found empty boxes in stairs the next day. So I paided over $1200 for a terrible job.

Johnnie, Charles, Robbie and Brandon did a local move for me on Dec 30. They were one of the best moving teams I’ve ever used and I’ve moved ~20 times. They were professional, courteous and careful. No damage at all. They worked hard and smart and had the whole move done in 3 hours less than the last mover. Highly recommend Fox. Emily was the coordinator and she was easy and straightforward for deal with as well. Great team!

This moving experience could not have been better using these or any other movers. The process begins with a pleasant conversation with the very sweet Danielle evaluating and estimating your needs. As to the move itself, the 3 movers led by Keith could not be more professional and concerned for your needs, they treat your belongings as if it were their own. Unlike most other movers, the final cost was very close to in line with the original estimate. If you need movers, you absolutely cannot go wrong here, 10 stars if available.

We used Luke and his crew to move an extremely large, heavy, bedroom suite. They done an excellent job preserving the furniture and the walls of the house. They were all very respectful and really went above and beyond.

Showed up 1 1/2 late for move. Renting a truck when knew it was a 2 truck job weeks beforehand. Did not finish packing until late in evening therefore missing the unpacking time at storage facility in new town. when someone available . Came the next day. Uprooted my schedule. Demanded payment so guys could leave storage facility supposedly at 11 am. I went to storage and the trucks were just pulling out of the parking lot.at 130pm. In addition they left many items at my home that were to be moved. Items on the list and specifically told to pack. o yeah we will get those. Next thing they were gone. Had to get a truck and storage facility in original town to store these items for pickup at later time. Fox moving said it was my fault and will not give a refund for items left. Once they get your money they dont care. Do NOT use this company.

The moving people showed up late and broke our washing machine as one mover tried to move it on his own down a flight of steps with a dolly and didn’t even have it strapped to anything. Reimbursement has been quite a headache and the “management” is unprofessional and quite rude. Would NEVER recommend this sham of a company.

Absolutely perfect experience using Fox Moving this week. The crew was perfectly on time, extremely efficient, professional and a well oiled machine. The guys were working the entire time to load and unload. I would highly suggest Fox Moving and will 100% use them again in the future.

I hired Fox to pick up an item from an auction and deliver it to my home. The item was an oversized curio cabinet, nearly 40 x 80 x 10 inches, with glass shelves and mirroring on the back. The movers called me when they were close to the auction house and again when they were close to my home, wore masks when requested, and efficiently and carefully delivered the cabinet in perfect condition. The office staff were helpful and the mover who took me through the paperwork after delivery was very polite. If I ever need another item picked up, Ill certainly hire Fox again.

Great experience all around. Estimator arrived on time and did a thorough review. Emily provided a timely estimate, and worked with us on changing dates and items being moved all the way up to a day before we moved. I used Fox several times in the past but after my most recent experience I wont be in the future. Fox disassembled a bed and upon unloading at my new house, I discovered pieces were missing. I called their office and without even trying to get further details Emily immediately told me they wouldnt be covering any lost pieces due to the contract. I went to review the contract and all users beware that the contract documents are ridiculously one sided and basically leave you without any fair remedy in my situation or if your items are damaged. The contract language wasnt exactly as Emily stated and Fox should be responsible. Long story short this is bad customer service and business. I wont be returning or recommending this company in my circle.

These bros were completely helpful. The only thing I had to worry about was making sure my place was spotless and they handled the rest. I even had one guy with a broken arm helping. It costs less than I thought it did so I tipped them more than I anticipated. Will certainly use them again and will recommend to others.

Great Experience! Weve moved seven times in the last nine years, all of which were to different states, including four cross-country moves. This was our first local move, and Fox surpassed all of our other experiences. The movers were timely, careful, courteous, and had a great work ethic. It usually takes all day to load and unload our stuff; with FOX it only took 3 hours. It was also the first time we didnt have a single item damaged by movers. We will definitely use them again for our next move, and we highly recommend others do the same!

While their employees were mostly courteous, when damage was caused to our driveway by their truck ramp, they became very adversarial and did not complete the move as paid for! LOTS of broken items that were marked “Fragile” and unwilling to pay for broken & damaged personal property! I won’t use them again!!!

First and foremost I want to state that the movers were exceptional young men who cared about their job. I was on the phone, on hold as the gentlemen arrived. As the hold music continued to play....going on greater than 15 minutes and later hung up on... they cared enough to ask what was taking place and why I was unhappy. I cannot begin to express my displeasure with Fox Moving and Storage. I began to price my event about a week ago, choosing Gouffon Moving & Storage, 2 Men and a Truck and finally FOX. I was given a time to meet and a price. Know that the homeowner was waiting and I was waiting. Ultimately, they arrived 37 minutes late. My time is valuable - not just some random decision to move a piece of furniture between addresses. I found myself in the non-enviable position of apologizing to the homeowner for the actions of FOX Moving - a service I was paying for! Apologizing more than once! I shouldnt have to apologize for a supposedly professional company! As a professional, if I cannot meet my deliverable, that means that there will not be a client event. TODAY, after 37 minutes and a no-show, I called FOX and was immediately talking to APRIL. What was my intent? To find out where the truck was and what the ETA was. To be told that the arrival was to be for 2 hours was mind-blowing. This beyond rude creature put me on hold, came back and began to emphatically state that they could show up within a 2-hour window. The level of rudeness just amazed me. If I were to ever treat a client like this there would be no client. Maybe a one-time and gone is this companys business model; I dont know. There has to be some level of job security for this creature April to act the way that she does. Had April listened to my inquiry in its totality and offered an apology vs. immediately going to some gameplay using this 2-hour window nonsense - completely different than our original conversations - maybe the experience might have been more positive. Maybe this experience will not dissuade you to use their service, but my comments to colleagues and friends certainly will. Be wary. Very wary.

The guys who came to do my move were so friendly and funny. It made an extremely stressful day a lot better. They worked efficiently and skillfully. I greatly appreciated their help.

We had Fox just complete our move fromFort Mill, SC to Knoxville and as we have a lot of nice furniture wanted it carefully moved. These guys did a phenomenal job. Very professional and moved some very heavy items down stairs with no issues. Best moving experience ever and will use them when we move into our home under construction. Highly recommend them for your next move.

Guys worked hard and fast. I was told there would be 3 guys ended up with 2. They cut the price down $10 an hour for the inconvenience, but, I feel I probably would have saved much more money had the 3rd guy been present and working.

Although our move was only 40 miles away, Fox Moving handled our belongings as though it was 400 miles. They were on time, extremely professional, very pleasant to work with and Keith and his crew worked non stop to make this move happen. They wrapped everything, padded the furniture and stacked the boxes with extreme care. Everything arrived undamaged. They broke down the pieces that needed to be and reassembled them at the new house. I cannot say when I have been more impressed with ANY company as much as I am with Fox Moving and Storage. I will not hesitate to use them again, if needed, and will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone I know that will be moving

Fox Moving and Storage (Charlotte, NC)From Charlotte, but this is the same company and same owner, nevertheless. As posted in Charlotte:Fox provided a quote for our move, which was $350 less than a competitors quote. However, after we paid our deposit, the owner conveyed that he incorrectly estimated the amount, but he would honor the price.Prior to our move, we sold two rooms of furniture, which decreased the amount of furniture counted in our initial estimate.Upon Foxs arrival, we were told by the supervising employee that Frank, the owner, instructed his team to treat us poorly. Regardless, we treated the team with kindness and respect, including a tip, lunch, and drinks for each employee on the first day.Here are the main issues summarized:1) We had to pay an additional $451.50 because the moving crew arrived with only one truck instead of two. Although this was Foxs error, we were still forced to pay or find a last minute replacement moving company, which wasnt possible. This added additional expenses, an additional day to our move, and delayed our cleaning crew, which nearly delayed closing.2) Our furniture was knicked, damaged, and broken. While Fox is obligated to replace and repair broken / damaged items, weve received zero communication on next steps since our claim was filed.3) The crew severely damaged baseboards, walls, and put a large hole and gash in our upstairs wall. Foxs solution was to send out a repairman who spackled over the holes and never came back. You cant spackle over a significant hole in drywall. It will eventually crack or break if anything hits it wrong. Not to mention, the baseboards were also repaired with wood putty, despite having large gashes and chunks missing. The initial repair job for the baseboards is of very poor quality and glaringly obvious.Our move dates were 1/15 & 1/16. Weve yet to receive definitive next steps from Fox after our claim was filed.If you dont mind having your house and belongings damaged, or paying more than you were quoted, this company is for you.If youre looking for a professional moving service that will honor their price and not destroy your furniture and house, look elsewhere.If I could give Fox zero stars, I would. Ive added just a few pictures out of more than 20 that document damage.Update 2/4:Frank is the general manager, Jeff is the owner. Jeff sent an email today, implying that my wife and I are liars. He obviously does not know his staff as well as he thinks. Perhaps he should read reviews from other customers (which I suggested on our call, but he dismissed the idea).He offered to refund the second days charges, provide monetary compensation for furniture by the pound, and pay for the repairs to the home via a professional contractor of my choice. Well see if he follows through on his word.It took a poor review, an open BBB case, and a message to the Movers Association to receive a status update, which tells you all you need to know about the character, ethics, and integrity of this company.If you research Fox Moving and Storage across various reviews sites, youll find multiple experiences like mine.

This is what happened 4 years ago heads up for people living In Knoxville Tennessee and need a moving company .Do not use Fox moving and storage they will leave you hanging.I dont know what happen to fox moving? about 8 months ago they moved me and did a fantastic job (the move took about 4 hours). so when It was time to move to are new house I did not hesitate use them again ( big mistake) they showed up unprepared claiming the move will be at lest 8 hours and the driver kept telling my wife they should have scheduled this move in the am( the thee men did not want to work) my wife called Fox moving and the person laughing at my wife tell her she did not know what she was talking about. the I called in and the person who took my order said she wrote down It was a 2 bed room move.(if she looked at the last move she would see that the move was a two story 4 bed room move ) then when she question why the 5% discount wasnt on the contract the movers left and canceled the move leaving us high and dry. Please DO not use Fox Moving and Storage. If you do you will regret IT!

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORK ETHICS.First off, they gave me a contract for 2 hours of work with 3 men moving us. Only two men showed up to move us. With us paying hourly they said they would give us a discount since obviously it would take longer to move.I was moving out of a 650 sq ft house with no living room furniture and no dining room furniture. Our new house was 13 miles away. It should have taken no longer then 3 hours to move what we had, considering we had NO large furniture.It somehow took them 6.5 hours to move us costing us OVER $700 which is almost THREE TIMES the original amount they quoted us and sent us a contract for.When we attempted to call the company the next day to figure out how in the world this could happen they not only called us a liar for claiming only two men showed up.According to Fox Moving they do not keep in contact with their employees so they do not know if someone doesnt show up for their moving shift therefor they cannot let us know if we wont have the amount of people we were promised.On top of that they refused to reimburse us or even apologize for the absolute mess they caused because it was all our fault. They claimed to have given us a discount which was equivalent to $20.This place is a literal joke and they have no respect for work ethics, themselves, or their customers. I would hire ANYONE in Knoxville before i even gave them a second look.I got four different moving quotes before i settled with Fox. IF fox was actually upfront about all of their hidden costs and tricks they play to intentionally make the move last longer then it needs to which in return forces you to pay WAY more then they quote you, then Fox would have never even been a consideration. Even other moving companies that quotes me five hours worth of labor were only $550, yet this was somehow $705 for Foxes services?Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even consider Fox or any kind of movers.

We have moved with them multiple times and every time they have damaged something. This time it was my dining table. We bought their insurance and still cannot get anyone to fix it. We’ve called 3-4 times and each time they say they are going to send us something by email to fill out or call us back. Nothing ever gets sent and no one ever calls back. I’m filing a dispute with the credit card company to get our money back if this doesn’t get taken care of. It’s been since May and I cannot get anything done by calling them. The boys who moved us never even told us they damaged the table although we heard it hit the concrete floor in our garage. They even took a large tip knowing they did that.RESPONSE TO BUSINESS: I have NOT received anything. That’s why I have continued to call....

This is the worst moving company I’ve ever used. When I arranged the move, I was told that they could move me in a few hours and they scheduled a late afternoon appointment. They didn’t show up until after 3 pm & didn’t “finish” until 10 pm. They didn’t want to assemble my two beds, so they told me if they went over 8 hours that the rate would increase astronomically. It turns out that they lost the screws to my bed. I called several times & finally was told that the movers put the screws in a box that they took upstairs. Unfortunately I never found the screws to my bed & had to sleep on a futon. Also, the movers refused to take two flower pots on my deck. Don’t use Vince. He’s the worst. Adam is the one who scheduled this move. Avoid Adam & Vince if you can.

Fox Moving and Storage has helped us move twice recently and the movers have always been wonderful and very professional. Chris and Steven were great and, quite possibly, the quickest movers we have had to date. All of our stuff was completely fine and handled with care. To illustrate their integrity and concern, we had a box frame that WE knew we had broke. Upon finding the piece, Chris brought it to our attention and apologize if he had caused. We told him the truth, but it shows great the character and the quality of movers they hire. I will definitely use them again if needed and recommend them.

Billys crew was awesome and very professional. The gentleman were fun to interact with. Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience for moving. I just wanted to add that Billy and Adam make one fantastic team. I really enjoyed working with them and will definitely request them with any further moving needs.

We had such an amazing experience with FOX moving and storage! We recently moved to Knoxville and needed some extra help unloading our POD. Pretty much all of our belongings were in our storage unit and we were moving in to 3 BR 2.5 BA. We hired 3 movers for 2 hours for a labor only move. Unfortunately, only two movers showed up, Dante and his son Dante, but they were amazing! Only charged me the rate for two movers and promised to only charge me for two hours regardless of the move time to make up for the inconvenience. They ended up moving everything out of the POD in just a little over an hour!! These guys were great. Friendly, hard working, and did not complain a single bit. They were gentle with all pieces of our furniture and our boxes. We had a huge couch that needed to be placed upstairs and it was fairly tight squeeze. These guys were great at problem solving and were able to get the couch in the proper room. We had a great experience with FOX and will definitely use them again.

The movers were polite, efficient and extremely professional. They moved our whole house in about 4 hours. Very pleased, would recommend highly.

They do a good job and the guys put care into your belongings. The only critic I have is that I wish they would better communicate charges connected to storage. The storage itself is free up to 30 days but they didnt tell me they charge the hourly rate for loading/unloading the storage unit. My bill was about $400 more than I was expecting. Other than that they are great and this was my 3rd move with Fox.

I wasnt happy with fox storage. I live in a gravel road and they were afraid to come down the gravel driveway. It ended up costing me almost a 1000 dollars for us to move. They hand carried the furniture down the hill.

As we are only in our first stage of moving Fox team was great to work with. Compliments should go to James and Wayne they were very professional and friendly. Did a great job moving our furniture to storage. The second stage comes in a month when they will deliver our furniture to our new home. Look forward to that day. Would like to request the same Fox team to finish our move.Baylor

We can say enough great things about our experience with Fox! Everything happened just and it was explained to me. They arrived ready to hustle and get the job done and considering we were moving from a 3rd floor apartment, that meant countless trips up and down two flights of stairs. All of our stuff arrived to the new place undamaged and they put everything exactly where we wanted it to go! Thank you Fox for making our move so much easier!!!!!

Fast and fun company. Their warmth and responsiveness made a stressful journey quite stress-less. They made a cross-country trip to move both my furnishings and my vehicle from Knoxville to Texas in a jiffy. I would recommend them again would love to have them even if I moved across the street. Job well done, team!

Dishonest and rude company

Fox moving company is outstanding!Their employees are courteous, punctual, and knowledgeable when it comes to packing, handling, and transporting.Yoniel was the team lead of 6 persons. They were professional and efficient.I had a 3500 sq ft home with many heavy/large appliances and furniture. They handled the pack out and load nicely and was incredible on the unload at the new residence.Moved from TN to NC, 5hr drive. Two large trucks and was Door to Door. Amazing move!I will choose Fox again. They made a very challenging move look easy!Thanks Fox!

I was shockingly surprised how well the move went based on poor reviews of this company. I was told they have a new owner who gutted the bad employees and increased pay for better workers. Whether that’s true or not, they did do a very good job of protecting and caring for all my goods.My recommendation for Fox to improve its service and reduce customer stress would have the packers the day prior to the move would have them disassemble any furniture to remove from home and wrap it. This way the actual moving day goes much faster and smoother. Not doing this created a very long day for all, especially in the Southern heat. My wife went out and bought them towels to dry off and we fed them a nice lunch. Again, prep the house the day before so all they are doing on move day is loading and unloading.Please make sure they bring more blankets for wrapping, this why they should do this during packing day. This is why they are knocked down a star.First move I never had anything broken 😊

These guys were awesome! They were quick and on top of everything. They handled everything with care and made sure to help me put the beds together as well as moving my couch around until it was exactly where I wanted it. Price wise they were great as well - moving is expensive, but they did it so quick to make sure to not jack up the time for more money. Would use again for sure

Fox was wonderful to work with. I needed someone to help move my mother’s things to a facility at the last minute. They worked me in but then I had to cancel because the place did not open on time. Two weeks later they moved my mother. They were on time and did a great job. I would use this at any time with no hesitation.

Moving Is a horrible experience, every known routine becomes disrupted. You Get tired you get cranky you can’t find anything. And moving day comes And in come guys who were unfailingly pleasant, cheerful, quick well spoken – the guys were absolutely wonderful. They moved heavy stuff through difficult turns, nothing was ever broken and they were always so kind, Never in a hurry just really there for you. I don’t ever want to move again but if I do I will call fox in a heartbeat and I would ask for Chris and Steven. They rock

They are professional, Adam the manager is awesome he was very accommodating with the time and date of our move.The cost of the move was affordable and reasonable. The guys that came to move or things were polite, courteous, professional and they did not damage anything. They move our stuff expeditiously and timely.I highly recommend them.

I cannot even rate this company. Scheduled to unload a small truck of furniture that came from Boston, move some pieces with in the house and place furniture off of the truck. Scheduled to be here from 9-10 on Sunday morning July 5th, 2020. Called to confirm several times no answer. Finally a call back after they were over two hours late. Told them moving onto another company. Horrible, horrible service. Will not be recommending Fox! Oh by the way we unloaded the truck !

Edit: I have edited my original post after talking with the owner of the company. My original post was not made with the intent to be malicious or false and I don’t believe it was. It was only made to review my experience which was ultimately negative.I posted a negative review and was called and cussed at by the owner. They didn’t like my language in saying that I had items stolen. They demanded to know since I said it was stolen what the police report was. They were rude, cussing, aggressive, kept interrupting me, and said I had never tried to resolve the issue before posting this. That was untrue because I have text asking about the missing items. Perhaps saying my items were stolen was strong language but I believe it to be true. I cannot however prove intent. I have several items that have gone missing with the move, they are not at our previous address, and they are not at our current. To me that says something happened in between there and here. I did not take video of them loading the truck, and a video of them unloading it therefore I have no legal proof that something was stolen.I do however know they told me the truck was empty when it turns out it wasn’t. They told me they would let me know if they found anything that night when it was cleaned and send me anything they found on it. They did not tell me they found anything on it that night even though they did. I contacted them a couple of days later when I couldn’t find some items. I do have text that confirm they had at least one of the items left on their truck, they kept two days without telling me they had it. These were business days that they were open for. I contacted them for it and then was told they had it and would send it back. That does not present itself in a good light in my opinion. I was told I would be contacted if stuff was left, I wasn’t. I have multiple things gone and they had one of them at minimum, because I was lied to and not contacted I believe they have the rest of my stuff.They did mail the item back to me after I asked them about it.I am not happy with the way I was treated when I posted this review, I am not happy that I was told the truck was empty when a very large box was at minimum left on it. I believe they have my other items since they had this one. I cannot prove that but it’s not at the other house or this one.I wouldn’t use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone on here.

I am so impressed with Fox Moving and Storage. They are very professional and reasonably priced. The office staff was very helpful and followed up several times before the move to make sure we didnt have any questions and to confirm the date and time. Billy and his crew worked so hard, up until 9:00 at night! I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and to clients in my real estate business.

Fox helped us with our relocation fro east TN to WI and we could not ask for better service. They quoted a firm price for the move (which was the best price of all the movers we spoke with) and provided all documentation in writing. We had a previous move that was not nearly as transparent and ended up costing much more than we had been told. The guys who unloaded our stuff were excellent and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Fox.

Dante and his crew were awesome!! They called ahead, they were actually a little early, and they hustled the whole time and got my truck unloaded quickly!! Scheduling the labor was super easy as well, and Fox called to confirm a few days before we had the movers scheduled. Very impressed all around. I’ll definitely use Fox again if I need them and will recommend them to friends!
