Such an amazing store filled with so many wonderfully crafted creations! Stephen Brown has created a magical wonderland in the downtown area of Knoxville. I missed seeing Miss Dolly Poulet & was looking forward to that, but did get great service from his staff! As an artist I truly can appreciate the amount of detail Stephen puts into his work to bring each of his creations to life. I truly feel he wishes nothing but happiness for all who visits Glitterville.

My wife and I finally scrounged together to take a baby-moon before our first child was born; we’d been saving and working and quarantined for so long and didn’t even take a honeymoon. We drove to Chattanooga for a couple of days after getting a Tennessee travel guide. After a couple of days, my wife asked if we could extend the trip one more day just to drive to Knoxville and see this place for her.Make no mistake- the extra day/night in Knoxville was costly and difficult. She had done lots of research to make sure that they were open. We added almost 4 hours to our driving and almost $200 in hotel expenses plus food just so my wife could come here.We walked from Market Square Garage and she was really suffering being in second trimester. Approaching the location we weren’t impressed by the area (not their fault) but it was the tiny note on the door that disheartened us.They were closed for the next two days!! Closed! Not listed on their website, not noted on Google or Yelp. Nothing. Just a piece of paper with the disclosure printed so small you had to be standing AT THE DOOR to read.Full disclosure- the place is tiny, cramped and not at all welcoming to anyone who is nervous about knocking things over by accident. We got a good look through the windows and it’s just a tiny space jammed packed with unicorn type stuff, mostly fluffy. We noted the live CHICKEN on the far side in a cage and found solace that we didn’t go in. With all those stuffed animals, small space, vintage building next to a construction zone, and a live farm animal inside… we didn’t need for my wife to get sick just for some expensive glitter.*Take away for the one star review-It’s 2021; learn to update your schedule on the internet and make it clear as day for anyone planning a visit. You are a tourist attraction in a tourism state. A printed piece of paper taped to your door is a spit in the face to people who made a costly effort to come see your place. Computers aren’t a phase, they are here to stay.I hope you figure it out. We won’t be back.

Wanted to share my experience with Glitterville and the owner, Stephen Brown and all the hardworking employees that work to make Glitterville a special place to shop! Glitterville is a small business who appreciates every customer that comes to visit or shop their creative and lovely products. I have experienced shopping there many times. Of course, during Covid there are times a small business will have to close unexpectedly. I’m sure they never want to disappoint any customer! Without actually going in the store you can’t really appreciate the hard work each employee takes to make it special! And seeing sweet Dolly Poulet is always a treat especially for anyone who loves animals like I do! Wanted to mention to anyone wanting to visit, there is parking close by behind the store. No need to walk blocks to get there! Just can’t wait for the Christmas season to get here! Always a go to place to shop for gifts. It’s a must stop if you are coming to downtown Knoxville!

Aesthetically gorgeous. Pricing high. Refusing a pregnant lady and her 2yr old entry to your bathroom (supposedly closed to the public and full of boxes)- and referring them to the bathroom of the brewery across the highway (in the pouring rain) after them having made a 40+ dollar purchase = RUDE.

I love this magical place so much! I travel here as often as I can to see Stephen and his magical staff!

Store was a lot smaller then what we expected.

My daughter called it Heaven!! She had a great experience and I did too. Quality products and a very accommodating staff. Their Christmas ornaments are amazing!!
