Allyssa our oldest, coming in at 26 years old on August the 1rst, Its always been a huge deal about the CAKE. Insisting on a marshmallow icing with,chocolate cake and chocolate ganache. Absolutely amazing, with all the choices they have you can look on the website for all their different cakes and cheesecakes. The 10 inch round cake we ordered was 35$ and the cheesecakes run 45$ I think this is a great price for what you get. Order a few days ahead and keep in mind they are closed Saturday and Sunday. The shop also has amazing items like soaps, soup base mixes, dip mixes also I love anything to do with honey, they had a wide variety of honey candles, soaps and well... HONEY. The chocolates they make are good, I have had better but try one out and come to your own conclusion. This is a great shop with friendly staff that made sure my daughter had a wonderful birthday cake!

You have to call to learn what they are selling; some days only cupcakes other days cakes. Five day lead to order a cake.

Everything is as delicious as it looks. Its like walking into Willy Wonka chocolate factory, but in a good way.🤣 Staff is very helpful. Never pushing you to buy anything, more of, asking you what it is you like, and you can bet your chocolate lovin behind theyll have it. Locally owned and operated. Its an experience when you go there. Not just going to buy some chocolate. Highly recommended. If they have any kind of sale or special and you want that item, you better move fast. It will be gone.

They have the most amazing cakes and cup cakes . I love to surprise my wife with these cakes. And every now and then Ill take a couple cakes to her work . Its the yummy things in life people appreciate!

Kinda out of the way I drove past 4 times before seeing the store. Right across from St Vincent Hospital. So if your from out of town like me just look for St Vincent and your their.

They have all kinds of chocolates and cakes. It all looked so delicious we didnt know what to leave behind. We chose a couple pieces of cake and a few chocolates. The chocolate was very delicious. As of this post we hadnt tried the cake yet. If it is half as good as it looks, it is going to be WOW! The employees are very friendly and helped us with all our choices.

J.Edwards is GREAT! Not only do they have FABULOUS cakes/cupcakes/chocolates but they have unique accessories also. I have purchased candles, baby gifts, home decor and jewelry items.

The cakes from J.Edwards are always so fantastic and affordably priced. The cake to icing ratio is superb, and Ive rarely had a dry crumb. They are kind and patient....they really have to be, because it is hard to pick just one, or who are we kidding, four, different slices, since all the flavors are magic.

Spent way too much money on all of the delicious treats. I loved it!

Oh my goodness, what a gem! I purchased four very large cupcakes (see pic), all YUMMY! My dad bought chocolate-covered cashews, which were also very good. Even though it would mean traveling 30 minutes from my house, I WILL be buying a cake from this place in the near future!

We have ordered several things in the past & have been very pleased unfortunately that was not the case today. I went in to pick up a 6 inch plain cheesecake, the girl that helped me was polite and courteous it appeared she couldnt locate our order & shortly her and a man came from the back with a 6 inch strawberry cake at that time the man said this is what was ordered that he had spoke with the woman himself I was sitting across from my Mother when she spoke to him & heard everything she had said and told him this when he said I dont have any reason to lie about it I then replied I dont think your lying about it I think you misunderstood he obviously became angry at this point and said that I must have misunderstood. In my opinion this is a very poor way to give treat a customer. We have always gotten great customer service and delicious products from Edwards up until today but this was for a small 60th birthday celebration that had to be delayed because the cheesecake we ordered wasnt available. To be honest I will miss not having Edwards products for our special occasions but the attitude of this one employee has changed my feelings about this establishment therefore I wont continue to patronize this business

I ordered a 6 inch cheesecake with caramel and chocolate, basically a turtle cheesecake without nuts. It had absolutely no taste at all, it was very chunky like it wasnt mixed well at all. This was part of a baby shower dessert that was unable to be shared due to no flavor. 2 years ago I ordered the exact same thing for her birthday and it was wonderful, however this time it was unable to be eaten! The crust this time tasted like a raw cookie dough with no flavor. Very disappointed!! 😥

Havent had the pleasure of visiting in person but have ordered online and received gifts from this wonderful, quirky & creative chocolate & cake shop. Gotta try it!

Amazing, I love j Edwards. Everything they sell tastes delightful. A little high priced, but totally worth it. Only issue I had was last time I went in there, the cashier was very grouchy and rude. I was disappointed bc usually everyone is pretty nice. Maybe she was having a bad day, but still shouldnt take it out on the customer.

5 stars if your going by looks alone but for me the taste is just ok. The cake itself isnt as moist as I prefer and the icing is good but not great. Im not willing to pay a triple upcharge for and ok cake that just looks fabulous. This is my opinion and I know others who share the same opinion but there are many out there that love this place. But I think a lot of it is fluff.

I took my daughter to pick out some chocolates for her birthday and since I was there I picked out some sugar free chocolates for myself. They have really good sugar free chocolates. My daughter likes the regular chocolates a lot.

Kokomo is incredibly lucky to have this adorable and dreamy shop in town. They make the best cakes and cupcake week is heavenly. We celebrated a birthday tonight with the Oreo cake! Although they are known most for chocolates and cake be sure and try their Swiss cheese dip bc it’s amazing 👊🏻

I cant say enough about this place! The product and presentation of their stuff is amazing!!! Not to mention, their staff is fantastic and very friendly. I think you cant find any other chocolate or cake joint better within hundreds of miles! I only have one complaint and its really not one, that would be to have cupcakes more often! An awesome bakery. Just walking in is a pleasurable experience. The smells, the displays, the staff are all awesome. Everything Ive tried from there has been amazing. The taste is out of this world. So many flavors its hard to choose.

The chocolates are delicious. The staff are kind. There is more than just chocolates to buy, a wide variety of treats and savory items. I love going in for chocolate covered strawberries and some bonbons.Note: My husband feels like a bull in a China cabinet when we go in because there are a lot of displays hes worried about knocking over.

We came in several times to try as many cake flavors as possible before making the final decision on our cakes. Whats great is they apply each piece purchased to discount your final order (up to a certain amount). This is a GREAT way to encourage customers to taste before deciding. Each time we came in we had a great experience & the cake was ALWAYS amazing, of course! The day of the wedding the cakes were delivered right on time & looked absolutely amazing! I gave them an inspirational picture & all the flowers/lace. They knocked it out of the park!! Everyone LOVED the cake. There was hardly any leftovers. I cannot wait to eat the top layer in a year! Special thanks to Kristin/Kristie (cant remember her name, sorry)! She was the person we worked with & she was just so helpful & professional!

The service I got was incredible. Very knowledgeable and informative and gave me options. Its very overwhelming with the choices so it felt like i had personal guides through my journey. The products speak for themselves. If you want top notch cakes and chocolates then go, but dont expect cheap prices or cheaply made products. First, and foremost, thank you for being open on Mondays!! My husband, who always has great ideas, but doesnt necessary plan for them so well, had decided to do a sweet treat for my birthday as a surprise for me. The first couple of places that he planned to purchase from ended up being closed. So, he did a search in the Kokomo area for any bakery that was open on Monday, and he found you!!! He surprised with me a salted caramel cake, and it was, hands-down, the best cake I have ever tasted!! You even threw in a sparkler candle!! You helped make my first birthday celebration since the loss of my mother much more bearable!! Youve also gained some new patrons as well!! Thank you!!!

J. Edwards has the best chocolates ever! They have milk chocolate, dark chocolate and sugar free chocolate and they cover everything from fruit, toffee and nuts with it. They also sell cheesecakes, cake and gluten free cakes in numerous flavors. The store also carries many other edibles. If you want something for a special occasion make sure you call well ahead to order it.

We were passing through Kokomo on our way to a family event. Since I forgot my gift at home, I googled chocolate shops in Kokomo. What a find!! I wish I had had a need for a cake because those looked absolutely beautiful. I was afraid it wouldnt travel well, however. The chocolate selection was amazing!! What a wonderful place!! Im really glad I dont live nearby, Id be 100 lbs overweight!!!!!

I am diabetic. It is almost impossible to find and like the taste of sugar free sweets. I discovered J Edwards sugar free chocolates and No others come close. Great!

If you schedule a potential patron for a wedding consultation, you should be prepared to a.) answer questions on price, b.) offer a menu of choices for cake, fillings, frosting, etc., c.) have examples of other cakes you have made, and d.) have your decorator present and available if they are necessary for the decision! I could have walked in anywhere and been told “show me a picture.” I made an appointment in order to go over my options and see what I wanted. This is so disappointing because their desserts are typically delicious. Maybe I just expected too much.

So I got drug into this place by my ex- girlfriend that swears by it. Im not a cake connesuer by any means and usually just hit a Dairy Queen or Meijers for that stuff. But this place...from the moment you walk in you can tell by the smells that everything is going to be delicious and a brand new experience.So much variety to choose from...cakes and candies of all kinds. I gotta tell ya...its like being in a Willy Wonka movie. And the staff are pleasant and plentiful so theres no wait time. Very clean atmosphere and screams professionalism.

Whats not to say about J. Edwards chocolates! They have a little bit of everything, savory cheese spread and crackers, sweet treats from bulk chocolates, speciality candies, marshmallows and rice krispy treats.Not to mention the fabulous cakes for any occasion, but my favorite is their big ol cupcakes, they have every flavor imaginable. Make this shop a priority when you are craving something sweet or savory.Oh yeah! They have gifts too, I like to grab a hostess gift while Im picking up my order.I highly recommend this establishment.

We are from Indianapolis and were in search of a wedding cake last fall. My mom, living in south bend at the time, stopped in J Edwards Fine Chocolate and Cakes while passing through Kokomo. She said the staff was so kind and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. We wanted something clean and simple for our wedding cake and J Edwards did just that! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also delicious. We arent super cake people and this cake knocked our socks off--seriously. We froze our cake and thawed it over a year later and the cake was still incredibly moist + creamy. We will return for future anniversaries and celebratory events!

One of my friends mom recently was married. She brought some of the cake from the rehearsal dinner over to share. This lemon raspberry cake she brought has given me life. This is the best cake I have ever eaten. When I took a bite angles cried. It helped me forget about all my life problems and gave me a new sense of purpose. You may think, wow this girl is crazy. Im not Im just a very intense cake person. I take cake seriously and all I can say is that J. Edwards got it right.May they continue Gods work.

Stopped by on accident on cupcake day! Omg best mistake ever! Purchased 4 different flavors. The carrot cake cupcake is to die for! Lots of great gift items too! Not to mention Chocolates! Apparently other days are cake by the slice.. cant even imagine.

I was in town for a conference and I was looking for a place to get a great slice of chocolate cake for my husband and found this gem! The cake was very rich and delicious and I will be getting a whole cake for my his birthday. I cant wait to taste some of their other treats. :)

I felt like Harry Potter entering Honeydukes. The feel, aroma, and look of the place envelope you immediately. I wanted to touch/taste/smell everything. I specifically went in to see if they had any sugar free chocolates for my husband. They had a giant case full. I got a gift box of a random selection. It was expensive looking (i.e. tasteful). My husband could barely contain himself from eating them all - normally he hoards. I tried a bite and couldnt tell it was sugar-free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing negative to say is that they maybe need a larger space, but it only felt crowded for the first 2 minutes I was there and then in cleared out.

I have shopped there for years and always find the right thing for all my Chocolate loving friends.Also I purchase many sugar free candies that taste every bit as good as the real thing.Staff is always friendly even when very busy. Before they expanded on special holidays, sometimes it was hard to get in the door.

I think I gained 7 lbs just looking at all the goodies. I may have drooled off 3 lbs though. Such nice, helpful, informative employees!
