Rented some scaffolding at the Home Depot Kyle, TX location for about 3 weeks and 2 days. Upon returning the rental there were issues with the computer system. Don’t know exactly what was wrong with their system but it was taking way, way to long compared to other times that I’ve returned rentals from them. I needed to be somewhere after dropping off the rental equipment and the delay at the Home Depot rental was cutting into my other appointment. My customer rental cashier then tells me leave and that he would take care of the issue as soon as he was able to. I got a phone call a few days later from the Home Depot customer service representative and informs me that the problem had been taken care of. And that their system was finally up and running normal again. I was not expecting this one bit but I received a generous discount on my rental due to their major delay upon return of the rental. All the Home Depot customer rental cashiers, the Home Depot Customer Service Representatives and the Home Depot Associates / Employees are down to earth very helpful. I had a great customer service experience with the Home Depot in Kyle. I contacted Home Depot before I headed to their store and a young man by the name of Zach S. was extremely helpful in confirming that they had the item that I was looking for before I headed to the store. Zach was very patient, helpful, professional, courteous and went beyond his call of duty to locate the product within the store. I was at Home Depot the previous night trying to purchase a particular lawn chair and was told by an employee that the item (Texas Lawn Chair) that I was looking for was not in stock, were not above the shelves in pallets and the chairs would be coming in the truck the following day. I expressed to the employee that home depot online was showing there were 40 chairs available. I was turned away and was told by the employee that they had checked above pallets and none were in stock. The following morning, Zach S. was able to locate the lawn chairs that I was describing and they indeed were in stock at the store. Betty at the front desk is a wonderful greeter and cashier. Home Depot should have more employees like Zach S. and Betty who are an absolute asset to Home Depot. Thank you Zack S. and Betty, because of you I will continue to shop at Home Depot in Kyle and not another location.
Employees dont seem to know Jack about what they have in stock or where it would be, easier and faster to look it up on their site or app. But other than that, they are friendly and well stocked.
The folks here are very helpful, they always have a smile on their face and are ready to assist you in finding what you need. And they even let me bring in my Boxer so I wouldnt have to leave her out in the Texas heat in my truck.

One of the better home depots to shop at in my opinion. Staff is always fairly helpful and very good at keeping the flow of customer traffic moving with minimal wait times at checkout. I Definitely prefer this HD location over others.

Asked for help loading a piece of sheet rock and workers took their sweet time getting there. My daughter already had it on the dolly by the time they got there. I couldnt help her bc I have a broken ankle.
Person at customer service counter was clueless about my curbside pickup, and kinda unfriendly. I went to the counter inside since curbside doesnt start until 9am. Home Depot is better than Lowes at selection and prices, but Lowes is friendlier, more helpful. Take your pick.

Don’t EVER get carpet installed by them. Did measurements PRE-COVID. Called last month to ensure the carpet measurements were correct (I mean my house didn’t grow - right... ) At the time they said “no problem”... ordered the carpet which was supposedly in stock. Scheduled the install through Home Depot. Mind you they said (Prior to taking me money) this was 24 - 48 hours scheduling. I had paying renters in on the 1st so ordered my install on the 22nd. And that’s when they drop the news that they don’t have anything till the 2ND week of the FOLLOWING MONTH! ...... Then call me ONLY 1 week PRIOR to inform me, install was canceled because the measurements expired...?!? (AND can’t book new measurements right now)... THEN they tell me the carpet that was CUT (same carpet ordered that can’t be installed because measurements expired) can’t be refunded BECAUSE IT WAS CUT!... AFTER all that I find (last minute) a wonderful carpet guy who schedules a day after the delivery of my non refundable carpet and what do you know carpet doesn’t come in yet. ITS STILL NOT IN. Don’t waste your valuable time and money at Home DEPOT. Not just TERRIBLE but the very WORST experience in all contracting experiences.
I walked in needing something cut. Found an employee and he said he would cut for me and even said he’ll meet me there and walked off. Wish I got his name I’d definitely give him the recognition he deserves👎

They have a great selection on everything. The Behr paint they sell is better than lowes and their staff is a tad bit nicer if you can find them. Lol. Their plant selection seems to be better than lowes too.

I was really surprised to see that they didnt have any Christmas Lights left over. Although I was really happy to find laundry detergent on clearance. So be sure to take the time to look around while your in the store.

I ordered the incorrect DeWalt drill/impact tool kit online. It was completely my fault. Tristen, Jacob and other team members were able to correct my mistake, get me the kit that I wanted and give me the Veterans discount as well. The Pro Desk in Kyle rocks.
Edgar and JoJo just delivered/installed our new microwave and oven and took our old ones. They were both super kind and courteous. Have had numerous deliveries and such from companies and Edgar and JoJo are definitely top tier :) hope they stay safe in this rainy weather! If we get things delivered again may try to request them!

The store itself was quite spacious, no clutter. the employees there, were many, always visible incase you need help, and most of them had a very kind attitude, once or twice did i get an annoyed or burdened response. im going to assume they werent having a great day thay day or i just caught them at a wrong time. The only reason i didnt give it a full 5 stars is because of their product organization, some of their stuff is not in the location with its right labeled price place.

I just left Home Depot and with all the precautions right now theyre doing a great job. The line was long since its the weekend, but it moved very quickly. The hand sanitizing station was available for customers, and employees were helping to make check-out move quickly. Everyone was very polite and friendly.
This store was sold out of every anchor, power cord, camera, and smart home device I wanted and it took forever to get help. Home depot isnt bad, just stay away from the one in kyle.

I have an amazing experience in the store this morning since last time been in a rush when minutes before store closed and by accident drop some cash before getting home stop by get some gas then realized the money missing call the store but was closed so this morning I spoke to the store manager and he help me with no issues then find out some one found it thank god o dint lost that money this happend to me before but the manager from the other retail store just make fund of me ☹but no on this homedepot thanks for the help and how they handle my problem
Rental department has almost everything you need for most jobs
Normally I hate Home Depot and find that the workers run from customers (its true, I worked at one and witnessed it a lot), but I actually had a good experience. Several younger employees asked if we needed help and to let them know if so. Its especially rare during the pandemic, most places you go to have employees avoid you. I understand why they dont want to assist, but this was a nice change of pace.
Ordered some days ago. Received e-mail saying part of my order was ready to pick-up. Drove to store, parked in the curbside space 04, Pressed the orange button and very Doon a young man brought my order to my SUV. All Smooth as glass. Good service!
We went to this hm depo for an auger to rent and got great and satisfying service for a reasonable price. And got the job done in record time. Id use their services again!

Just left this place because I went to get some lawn care products and only employee said someone from garden department should be by in a bit. Waited for 15 to 20 minutes and the same employee never called anyone or the garden employees were pumpkin patching by the register. I used to work at a Home Depot and this is not what was expected from us. After I wa as leaving I heard an intercom call about needing garden associate to help in Christmas products. Can not do less than 1 star
So I get it, they cant pay anyone with actual knowledge in the plumbing electrical depts enough to work there and keep prices down ! Great selection of products but no one that really knows anything about it ! Simple general stuff sure but thats not what I ever need help with !

So every store like this that you can go to either providers a positive or negative experience. That being said, a store is only as good as its leadership and its employees. Im remodeling a house in San Marcos, but there isnt a Home Depot there, so i frequent this store. Ive done thousands of dollars worth of work, most of which was purchased here. Over the past 4 months Ive had nothing but good experiences, one after another. It is evident that the goal of this store is to provide outstanding customer service along with a best product. The managers that Ive dealt with are Nate, Ashley, and Angel (Pro desk). Bob in powertools is great, along with both Sylvias. Do yourself a favor and shop here!

You can tell all the stress is getting to some of these employees right now. Some were friendly other younger kids were annoyed and short. My cashier didnt say one word to me. I almost said something to him but it wasnt worth it. He looked like he wasnt old enough to buy beer so I would be angry too. Still customer service shouldnt go away even during weird times like this. Most employees werent wearing masks but thats their decision so it didnt bother me much but just to let anyone know.I can understand some of these employees being a little upset about this whole situation but they should be happy they are still working. A ton of peeps got laid off right now and would kill to work there right now.Anyway Ill always need Home depot in my life.

5 star service from Jessica H., a design consultant that went so far above and beyond to assist us with the purchase, and cancellation of a previously ordered door from the website. I originally searched the website and the site told me the door we wanted was not instock. I ordered our second choice but two days later went into the Kyle store and found the first choice was actually in stock. Jessica helped us with that purchase and placed a call to try to cancel the original order. We were told we would need to wait until the following Monday. I tried to cancel the order Monday but was told by the website order people that I would have to wait until the order was being filled before I could cancel and get a refund. A few hours later, without even being asked, I got a call from Jessica that she had been successful in getting the order cancelled.(YAY!!) I have already received a refund for the cancelled order!! I have not received such awesome customer care in years. Jessica, you are awesome! Thank you so much!
Employees arent very much help
This is the third time I go to Home Depot in Kyle during this pandemic. First time on curbside pick up when someone without a mask came to deliver my item asking for an ID on the drivers side; second time on curbside pick up someone without a mask came to deliver my item asking for an ID on the drivers side again; third time, my husband (who is over 60) and I went to the garden center to check out with someone without a mask that got very close to us to give a plastic bag. All these times I was wearing a mask and so was my husband. I love Home Depot but dont understand why they are not reinforcing that all employees should be wearing a mask. I dont think I will go back there anytime soon.
