After going here for years, they still have yet to refill a prescription correctly or on time. I’m blown away by the sheer incompetence of human beings every time I go here. Absolutely ridiculous that they let these people work with medicine
First off I admit there is a wait in the pharmacy. Although because I had to wait to see if my insurance would cover my prescription. I didn’t really think that it was to long of a wait because I did have my cell phone to play around on while waiting. Anyway to cut this story short the pharmacist must have thought I waited long because he didn’t charge me for my prescription. That is why I am writing this review because I thought that was real nice of him. Normally I don’t do this sort of thing. Also yes it was before 10p.m. So I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it or not?
Always good shopping here.
Framed by he/she. Asked three times for someone else to help me after this person rushed from photo to wait on me. The he/she says heres you medication loudly to ensenuate I was crazy. All these organization cooperated to make my life hell... This before Covid-19 began. Still going on. Lord have mercy on us!
I would give them zero stars if I could. I am from out of state and dropped off my prescription well in advanced to it needing refilled knowing they would need to contact my doctor as I was out of refills. Here it is a week later and they never called in the prescription. I am out! Have been for 2 days and am now leaving here. Terrible service. Called to cancel prescription and they showed no record of my order. The picture for this Walgreens of trash bins should concern you. I am very upset with the service of this pharmacy.
Always able to get retail or off the shelf medicine 24 hrs with no problems. Thankful for this accessible resource - walk, bike, or drive.
Very poorly trained Customer Service Department. Wasted over 2 hours holding to speak to the right person. Was transferred 4 times to automated systems which did not provide service needed.Last time I use the Walgreens App.
I have done business with this pharmacy for years. Ive always been treated well and my meds in a timely fashion. I trust them implicitly. Several times they have caught mistakes by drs. prescribing meds that would not go well combined with current meds. They look after me. What more can ask for? If theres a problem with ins. or they do theyre best to get need. They have went out of their way to help where other places would not. Gwen Walburn.
Walgreens is a great place... For a small store you can find some interesting items. The only thing I am not to crazy about is the wait time in the pharmacy... Its all walgreens stores... This is the area that is the slowest.
Easy in easy out
So glad there is a 24hour service.
Has what you need...but let me give it to you straight: after 10pm, you might be risking your life heading into this place. Popped in quickly late at night recently, and couldn’t believe the behavior of the customers—across all ages—yelling, shouting, throwing products, slurring at the cashiers. I sincerely hope they are paying these young ladies a meaningful shift-shift differential to deal with this all night. Get in, get out, and make sure you have your stun gun in your hand the entire time if it is dark. Sheesh.
First, I will say I have never had a problem with the Pharmacy. Always good service. However you cannot believe any advertised price on the shelf to be close to what you pay at the register. When questioned the difference, clerk just kept repeating the same thing several times . Very annoying and scam worthy. I will not shop there again.
It seems no one likes to answer the phone here.. I instantly get put on hold and no one picks up.. I try again and the same thing happens. Then I notice similar reviews and realize they do this often. Very disappointing as I was trying to spend money here. I will be contacting Walgreens headquarters and sharing my experience. I encourage anyone else with similar situations to do the same.. Its as easy as writing this review.
I have shopped at this location since it was built. I got all of my photos developed there, bought household and personal goods, and even bought toys there at Christmas time. This its the second time now that I have had a major problem getting my medicine. I almost stopped going there after the last time but gave it another chance. It wasnt just the fact that i had trouble getting my meds but the complete lack of compassion or empathy by the recent staff. The pharmacist who had been there for years and years is great. The one who is sometimes there is downright mean. In a nutshell, I went to this Walgreens before I left the state for3weeks. I asked about my medicine and the tech told me that I could get it filled at any Walgreens in the country. I asked about insurance and she said it was all in the computer. Fast forward to me running out as expected.. I filled my scrip at the neighborhood Walgreens and when it was ready walked down the mountain to the neighborhood store. My insurance wasnt honored. I called this store today and kept calm and friendly, but asked about different options on how they could fix this. The tech on the phone put me on hold to ask about the things I proposed. They said they could ship it but it would be a week. They said I could pay for it (impossible). They said they could fed ex it but Id have to pay for it. I asked the tech who agreed that it was Walgreens fault if they would pay for the fed ex and she put me on hold. When she came back her exact words were yeah its not on Walgreens to pay for the fed ex I told her I was sorry that she was getting upset at me asking for different options since I could sense the very obvious annoyance in her voice. So Walgreens, was it worth it? Was the cost of fed ex to ensure I didnt go any longer without my medication, when Im traveling, worth losing a customer youve had since the building was built? There is not enough concern nor any shred of professionalism at this pharmacy anymore. I now have to go days without medicine that Im not supposed to go without for even a day. It seems the Hippocratic oath does not apply to pharmacies. I no longer consider it a place that provides health services.SincerelyA former customer
Very pleasant on the phone.
The Walgreens I frequent the most. And for good reason. Great range of items to shop from, excellent staff, and very competent and friendly pharmacy.
Was sent over to the local Store after being seen in the hospital ER. Store does not honor Iowa Medicaid. A nice thank you for a vereran. Too poor to pay the $200 plus bill. Still suffering without the meds.
I frequent this Walgreens often and recently it seems like everyone has been much more pleasant. I get prescriptions and use this location to get any essentials. I believe there has been a change in management recently and it’s headed in the right direction.
I was going out of town and needed to get my prescriptions quickly. They only filled one of the two. I was in the drive thru. They told me to go to the end of the line and wait. Not even an apology. Thanks Nate. Not happy with their customer service!!!They made a 5 minute stop into 20+.
Today I had a simple inquiry for the Pharmacy so I called them, as the request did not warrant coming in to the store. I was told via the automated system that there were 3 callers ahead of me, then 2, then 1...no big deal. I was running errands on lunch so 15 minutes to wait wouldnt hurt. Then time went on and it was 20, 30, 40 minutes. I was over near the Pharmacy at this point so I drove in and asked to speak to the manager on duty. I asked him if he had any idea as to why I had been on hold for 48 minutes, as this is completely unacceptable. He said he didnt know and told me I could have called back. I responded, Call back and then be 4th or 5th in the waiting line again? No way. How can you help me now? He told me to go over to the 2nd window at the Pharmacy. Nobody was coming up to me so I said, Excuse me sir, I have been on hold on the phone for 48 minutes and nobody is helping me. He snapped back Yea, we are a little busy! So I went back to the manager and said obviously nobody in the store felt the need to help the unseen people on the phone and just focused on people in the store (as if they matter more because apparently people on the phone arent people). Either way, even if they are busy, is it acceptable to keep someone waiting on the phone for 48 minutes without even a courtesy answer telling someone they are busy and they will call them back? Does the person waiting deserve to be snapped at and also have the manager act passive and incompetent toward them? I think not. I have always loved Walgreens but this just may make me switch Pharmacies...or at least locations. Complete jerks.
I just needed to drop off a FedEx package that already had a shipping label on it. They would not accept the package because of its dimensions. Absolute worst customer service that I’ve ever seen. Poor decision making capabilities and rude. Very disappointed that they are too lazy to perform a simple task like excepting a package drop off. WEAK!
My experience with pharmacy techs was horrible. Im sick of the ghetto trashy, walgreens.
For being such a large chain, their prices are terrible. The only thing besides the savings card thats cheaper are the cigarettes. Ive had good & terrible experiences with the pharmacy. Convenience is the key to my visiting here.
They are coming along Nicely there, See improvements being made.
I asked the pharmacist for help with what sort of pain relief options I had for relieving cramps and back pain after getting an IUD inserted. He was very helpful and I will be going there again!
Not that I was expecting a great customer service experience to begin with, but I wasnt expecting an eyeroll. Miss Peggy should not be in customer service or retail!
This is, hands down, the worst pharmacy in the area. Just terrible, horrible customer service. I dont even think their pharmacists know what theyre doing half the time. They are extremely inefficient and wasteful of (sick) customers time. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs.
Every single time my doctor faxed my prescription here they somehow never have it. I usually end up on the phone for a solid 10 hours with them and then somehow the “find it”
Great pharmacists and staff. Its 24hr so no matter what time you get out of the ER you can still get the meds you need.
Called in to see if they do money orders. Young woman on the phone said yes. Get there, and the two young ladies behind the counter at the photo/fedex/wu desk give me an insane amount of attitude. The one tried to tell me a western union money transfer is the same thing. Horrible customer service.
Not a cheaper alternative to Wal-Mart however, easier to get to.
Too expensive, $1.50 more for a six pack of beer here than at Kwik Trip. They are much more expensive than Kwik Trip, Festival, and Walmart.
This place is a joke and messed up several prescriptions forcing me to switch farmacys I recommend taking your business elsewhere
Very horrible pharmacy. Have waited almost 2 days now another for an eczema medicine for my son, keep getting the run around telling me they ordered the wrong medicine. Is this how a pharmacy jokes around with people’s health? You shouldn’t be working inside of a pharmacy if you can order the right medicine!!!
Lousy communications among staff and pharmacist. Misleading phone messges. Blatant misinformation about prescription readiness. Great disappointment and I am finished patronizing this store.
It takes a ridiculous amount of time average 20-30 minutes just to pick up a prescription
Pharmacy says 15 mins, its never 15 min its always an hour!!!!! Everytime
No one to help you, the cashier so slowly, and they don’t care about the customers
Convenient store with convenient store prices
8:00 pm. Pharmacy...pathetic service and horribly slow. Stand around and visit with each other. Whats 10 minutes is 30 minutes.
I needed to call the pharmacy and I was put on hold for 20 minutes before someone answered the phone
Prices are kinda high for most things.
Very high prices.
