Great meat, unfortunately even after losing an employee to COVID, employees dont wear masks or follow safety guidelines. Who knows what rules are broken behind the counter.

Their prime rib is the best. We could almost cut it with a fork it was so tender. Meat sticks and jerky are great as well. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Hillbilly jerky is the bomb ! It is a unique taste explosion for the palate. Has the best meat in Eastern Oregon. Have had prime rib, for Christmas. Briskets for bbq. Do I dare say? Its a party in your mouth !!

Extremely clean butcher shop, outstanding customer service. I was blown away by how nice ever employee was. We dropped an animal off for processing and they called 2 days later with it ready. Unbelievable quick. We also bought some ribeyes for dinner that night. Holy cow were they delicious!!!! I highly recommend Hines Meat Company!!!!!

I bought some cheese, it said $9.something for 3.5 oz. The cheese came in a package that was labeled 3.5 oz. and they threw it on the scale and charged me for the packaging as well.... Came to over $10 for the cheese. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but if youre doing this regularly... Thats a lot of money being swindled. Hope its not common practice for you guys.

Just walked in and three of their employees were not wearing masks. I’m not sure why people are calling this shop “clean” considering they are willfully endangering others by putting in zero effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus which is clearly at a minimum a lack of personal hygiene while touching their own products. Yet another business that has shown how little they truly care about their community when times get tough.

This place is so amazing it should be called a cut above steaks just melt in your mouth they are perfect with the local fresh morels the jerky the cheese the ugh everything. Employees are fast and friendly this is my go to for any meats.. also they hang wild game for you which we appreciate so much last year we took a buck and they came early and opened shop to take him in just great people all around

Love this place... found their product through OGG in Pendleton. Just picked up 5 tomahawk steaks for only 16.99 a pound. Breaking in the smoker mondays! Woot!

Great service, great people, FANTASTIC FRIDAY SPECIALS!!! Be there at noon on Fridays. You wont be disappointed. If you love BBQ, youll love Fridays at noon! Also, during the great toilet paper scare of 2020, they gave away toilet paper with every $10 spent. Theyre basically a delicious charity. You wont be disappointed.

Great meats, amazing staff, and reasonable prices. The country bacon is so delicious. The ribs (seasoned or not) were fantastic. The breakfast sausage was also quite a treat and often goes on sale. The staff was always very generous and accommodating. We are no longer in the area and this place is sorely missed.

The best place in the area to buy quality meats! They also have local made cheeses,grills grill chips. We only buy our meats there and always prime rib at Christmas. They will even smoke them for you!!

Best meat you can ever have. Wonder what they do with the scrap meat and carcasses. Would like to get some and possibly bucket full of blood. Sounds weird I know but theres a method to my madness

Ever since Hines has opened they have been a go to place to get some of the best meats in town, may be a little more pricey than other places but you definitely get more than your values worth out of everything you purchase. And we absolutely love the daily deal they have every friday that changes to something different each week.

Had them process a whole grass fed beef for us the price was reasonable but there are a few things Id love to offer as constrictive customer feedback that we hope youll consider hearing:Once our beef was delivered we got a phone call to ask what cuts wed prefer, this means you have to make on the spot decision of what cuts you want and it clearly made for some mix ups.Beyond the fact that we got a ton of Chuck steaks and Chuck roasts that I didnt want (prefer stew meat and asked for such) if wed had been lets say able to look at possible cut options on your website wed have had time to really decide what wed prefer and having a form or something to fill out would really stop a lot of miscommunications.We paid extra for vacuum sealing because its a whole cow & theres only 4 of us. We want it to last a good while in the deep freeze. On that note the $ per pound for vacuum sealing is quite a bit higher.So its kinda a bummer when upwards of 35% of 400+lbs of meat didnt have the air vacuumed out which makes the extra cost pointless. This means a lot of our high quality meat is subject to rapid freezer burn. Bummer.Just some changes/quality control issues to consider.

The Sausage Samples were a way to start and their was 10 different kinds and all within a Reasonable price and the Bacon there was 10 different kinds and even Beef Bacon. Not to mention all the Beef Cuts and fresh Ground Hamburger. This is why the 5 Stars. Also Coming soon a Deli and a Restaurant.

I did a great job of cutting and wrapping our beef had a very very good selection of pepperoni style sticks of different flavors different cuts of meat in their case and they will custom cut anything plus they have a sales floor with fresh veggies mostly from local farmers
