Took my 2016 Yamaha water craft to Performance Fiberglass. It had a deep 10-inch long scratch on the outer left side. I asked John if he could remove the scratch and repaint the entire left side of my Yamaha. Wow !! What an awesome job P.F. did! Scratch is gone and a beautiful new paint job that blended in perfectly with the existing paint! Like it was never there! Thank you John, Art and the funny Australian guy! Great job! I would highly recommend this place for any boat or watercraft repair!
I clipped the dock and damaged my boat. I had no idea where to take it and found John and Performance Fiberglass on Yelp. John communicated clearly and provided a quote. I setup an appointment and brought the boat in and they did not disappoint. The work was amazing and the turn around was very quick! John and crew got my boat looking like the accident ever happened and I am back out on the water! I highly recommend this shop and my boat will only be going to this shop if I were to need additional repairs in the future!
We have used these guys twice. The first time was in 2016 for the repair of our two brand new Yamaha Wave Runners which collided with each other and as a result had large holes in the hulls. Work was unbelievable! The wave runners looked brand new again.More recent was just yesterday. We recently purchased a 2005 Boston Whaler 305 Conquest that is 34 feet long and about 13,000lbs loaded. When we incorrectly pulled the boat out of the water on the trailer, the tow eye back plate did some damage. John is so amazing. The job he and his team did was far better than what originally came from Boston Whaler which is known to be very well built.Need anything fiberglass... dont go anywhere else. These guys are awesome, responsive and all for a very fair price.
My experience with this business was pretty poor, I am in customer service and I know the pain of having to do multiple things at once and the stress we have to go through. But to not contact your customers back that actually want to spend money and are looking forward to a job is irresponsible. They wrote my number down multiple times and I sent multiple emails with no return call or replied emails. Only reason I give to starts is because the workers were cordial, other than that I wont be considering them for my fiberglass repair needs.
John and his crew did an amazing job on my Sea Doo. It turned out much better than my expectations. Would highly recommend for anyone needing fiberglass repair. A+++
JOHN Hey just got back from Lake Powell I was wiping done my wave runners and realized I never wrote a review for your business last year. I was the one who covered the gas cap with the beer can lid. Hey don’t worry about what other people post I just read the one from the other day. You guys are truly the best around. Your crew I will always recommend for any fiberglass work to anybody that asks me be it a stranger or friend. Your crews quality of work is outstanding along with professionalism. Kudos to your crew and you for getting me back last year on the river...I’ll post before and after pics. Ps with Covid this year times are tough and people don’t realize companies are down workers and businesses are not functioning at full strength but the quality of work will not change. THANKS Again you guys rock!
They are fabulous, best shop in town. I would recommend with 10 starts
Had my jet ski and boat worked on at this shop. Had a great experience with the owner John. Both my jet ski and boat were crashed by friends. When John was done I couldn’t tell anything had ever happened. If you need a repair this is a great place to go to for a quality repair done right the first time. Thanks for the work John and all the guys at Performance Fiberglass 🇺🇸
One of the best fiberglass shops around, work is over the top and the guys that work there are awesome. They definitely make sure to take care if their customers.
Long time customer, first time writer. I’ve been over satisfied every time with the quality of work and the professionalism John and his crew provide at Performance. I first heard about Performance from a friend (word of mouth). So naturally I trusted my buddy and took my boat there after years of normal where and tear to the bottom from beaching. Then couple years down the road (different boat) someone decided to hit my boat while on the trailer, hooked up to my truck in a parking lot causing extensive damage. I called my insurance company and they said they had a shop on their network referral program that offered a lifetime warranty on their repairs. The shop was Performance Fiberglass. So my prize possession was loaded on the tow truck and delivered to John. When I picked it up, it literally looked better then the day I bought it and could not tell one bit there was damage to my boat or my trailer. Recently bought the kids some jet skis, and kids being kids they messed them up. I called the dealer where I bought them and due to COVID, they gave me the number to “their guy” that does all their work.. Guess who they used and recommended I call, John at Performance Fiberglass. I just got my skis back and guess what, they look better than new. Long and short, for years I’ve used this shop and obviously have been open to go other places. Every time I have been recommended to them every time. Thanks for the Amazing work... AGAIN.
Best place on the planet for fiberglass repairs, period!
Reading all the stellar reviews about this place made it seem like a slam dunk, until I realized they were all a year old or older, nothing really recent. Emailed them for a repair quote, didnt hear anything back for three weeks. Shouldnt have to pester a company to try to do business with them. When they finally replied, they acted like I was bothering them and gave me a go away and leave us alone price. If it takes 3 weeks to reply to an email, I can only imagine how long it takes to get a job done here. No thanks.Edit: Usually when other companies receive a negative review they respond with something along the lines of, we messed up and we can make it right or take the review into consideration for the future. Instead this place says, you must have been grumpy about something, its not us. LOL. Ok. Its fine, Im still going to go elsewhere
John and his crew have repaired 2 PWC of mine. They are without a doubt the best around. Clean work, Honest and quick. Thanks John!
Better than any other Boat & PWC repair shop around! These guys really are fair and honest. Theyve been the specialized experts in the watercraft world, for years. Theyve always gone over and above with our repairs. Best quality every time.
I never write reviews but john deserves it. After reading the excellent reviews and being recommended by berths mega mall I decided to drive 110 miles to get my wave runners fixed. Him and his staff are polite and I am highly satisfied with the craftsmanship. Thank you performance fiber glass for getting us back on the water on time for fourth of July weekend.
John and his team are the absolute best you can find for repairs on your PWC. You will NOT find better workmanship, professionalism, customer service or satisfaction than you will get when you go with Performance Fiberglass. If you want the best, this is where you go
If you want your boat or ski repair to be done right the first time and look better then new then go see the guys at Performance Fiberglass. This is by far the best fiberglass repair shop in Southern California. HANDS DOWN!!!!!
Let me start off by thisIM A REAL PERSON LEAVING A REAL HONEST REVIEW AND WANT TO HELP YOU GUYS MAKE THE BEST DECISION.This review comes out of passion for the way I was treated as a customer at Preformance Fiberglass.Simply put, Preformance Fiber Glass in La Habra is one of the best if not THE best fiberglass businesses around. Now here’s why... read belowI was having a fun weekend in Havasu Arizona on a pair of Sea-Doos I borrowed from a friend... long story short, the side rail on One of the skis had got damaged and cracked through the fiberglass and chipped away the gel coat, it pretty much put a whole downer on the rest of the weekend.Anyways I come home and now it’s time to fix them. I called about 25 different places around me, this is NO EXAGGERATION trying to find the best place with best customer service and best pricing available as I didn’t want to spend a fortune fixing something that’s not even mine. After speaking to roughly 25 different companies, who off the bat I did not get a good vibe from with the way some of these businesses answered their phone calls (I am a business owner and can appreciate when other businesses have proper etiquette when picking the phone up), John at preformance fiberglass was more than pleasant to first greet me with a nice tone but to further genuinely help me out and try to help figure out how we can get this fixed and what’s going on.After having called all these different places Preformance Fiber Glass stuck out to me because of their awesome customer service (and willingness to deal with my crazy 2 day time constraint and squeeze me in since I had to have these skis back before the weekend and brought them in on a Tuesday) and best pricing i had received.Upon first meeting them, The performance crew are really some cool genuine people. They really make you feel welcomed and are very friendly and quite funny.I told them I had to have it done within a couple of days when everybody else gave me minimum 1-2 week wait times and they had it done two days later. THESE PEOPLE WILL REALLY WORK WITH YOU AND WILL HOOK YOU UP.PICKING THE SKIS UP NOWI brought back the trailer to pick up the fixed ski and it looked better than before, it was washed and cleaned up very nice for me upon pick up and the damage was invisible and flawlessly fixedANDthey even noticed I had a taillight hanging broken from the trailer they proceeded to just fix it for free no cost within minutes, was very appreciative for that and them going above and beyond when they didn’t have to.I hope after reading my experience you guys can give it no further thought than to take your business to preformance fiber glass wether it’s sea doo repair or boat repair or whatever your need is, I can vouch they do AWESOME business and work.Sincerely,Aaron LoyThank you Preformance fiberglass for your guys awesome business!! Will be sure to spread the word.
Performance fiberglass did an outstanding job fixing my new 2012 Yamaha Waverunner after it took a hit the first time we took it to the river. They took the time to explain what they were going to do as well as what type of repaired was required. When I picked up my Waverunner, only a week after I dropped it off, it looked awesome, I could not tell where the damage was at and the paint looked great. I high recommend Performance fiberglass for all your fiberglass repairs. Thanks a lot guys, really happy with your workmanship.......
I have had numerous watercrafts repaired at different fiberglass shops and Performance Fiberglass is by far the best fiberglass shop I have ever been to. John is an awesome guy and I always leave Performance knowing that everything is going to be taken care of properly. I had a Honda aquatrax that had been damaged pretty badly in the front. Johns repair was absolutely flawless, I could not believe it was the same watercraft I had brought in to be repaired. I truly feel there is not a better fiberglass shop then Performance Fiberglass and they are the only shop I will take my business to.
This is the first time Ive ever written a review because Performance Fiberglass deserves it!--Theyre whole operation is excellent--the workmanship, pricing, and delivery time!I got hit by a drunk driver and the whole left side and bottom of my boat was damaged. In fact, the bottom had a big gash in it. The thing is Performance Fiberglass (aka John Crabb, the owner) took care of me from beginning to end! He pointed me in the right direction to handle my boat claim with the insurance company to the delivery of my new looking boat. He not only helped me get my boat fixed ( looking like show room new), but he puts a guarantee on all of his work for as long as you own the boat!Again, this is my first and only review Ive every written about anyone--ONLY because Performance Fiberglass earned it!
Best fiberglass repair around. They mostly do boats.
I ripped a substantial gash in my Bayliner Arrivas deck just above the hull seam. John not only did and excellent job of repair on the gash but I also had him regelcoat the entire hull which was heavily oxidized and had many scrapes and scratches. Thanks to John and his crew my boat looks straight of the showroom. I heartily recommend Performance Fiberglass Repair - they do truly excellent work !
OUTSTANDING CRAFTSMENSHIP!Performance Fiberglass Repair (John Crabb & crew) just completedrelatively major NanoXcel hull repairs (both sides) to my 2011Yamaha VXR.Not only did they make room for me the day after the damageoccurred, they completed the work in time for the West CoastNationals race the following week!I selected Performance Fiberglass Repair for two reasons. One: I was familiar with their exceptionally high quality customwork on high line race craft of other racers. Two: The VXR has Yamaha’s NanoXcel hull and deck. NanoXcelrepair requires special techniques and products to be successful.John Crabb/Performance Fiberglass Repair has the requiredknowledge and skills to repair damaged NanoXcel correctly.Expectations exceeded at a fair price.Bill Wilson4/24/2013
During the 2009 IJSBA World Finals my PWC was hit by another PWC. They were at the race and were highly recommended. I gave them my boat to repair and the work was flawless. I know exactly where the damage spots were and I have a hard time showing people the spots that were fixed. It was about $1,000 worth of damage. This was in October of 2009.Recently, by Yamaha FZR was involved in another collision during the race. I live in Sacramento, CA. I am driving all the way to SoCal to get the work done. I did not even think about the 402 miles distance between my house and their shop. Highly recommended if you want it done right.
Best fiberglass repair shop
Were fabricating a trailer for these folks
