We had a fabulous experience upgrading from our old RV. Tim Ballard was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. Tim teamed with Rick in finance and made sure we received the best deal possible with all the added features requested. Mike provided a terrific walk-through of our new RV showing us all the ins and outs. He even installed our new parts picked up from their in-house parts store. DJ in the parts department was well stocked and provided us with friendly service. He suggested and made sure we had all the accessories we might need. Their fantastic detail gentleman, Derek, took the extra time to suggest the necessary cleaning products and gave us some useful tips on how to keep our RV clean while maintaining the exterior. Went down there this morning to get a thermocouple ER for my water heater they didnt have the exact one but they did have one and it worked perfectly the guy was great he said if it wasnt long enough to come back and he would work with me and get another one this is about the third time Ive went there for parts and Ive never been disappointed they are friendly and informative

Great experience buying my travel trailer. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Zach went above and beyond. Gibby was kind and fun to work with. My family purchased our first travel trailer from Alana at Ron Hoover. We live out of town and were able to do everything over the phone. The sales department was very thorough and delightful to work with. No gimmicks and no nonsense. Buying sight unseen was risky but we arrived to exactly what we expected and had a very pleasant experience completing the transaction. Mike in the service department worked very hard to get the unit ready and was very helpful as he showed us the ropes. We had a few items that needed attention and alongside Mike and Alana, Zach the sales manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was working properly and we were able to hit the road on our scheduled date. I would purchase from them again without a doubt!

Bought a RV today. Nice group of folks. Only reason I knock off a star is you do have to negotiate here. I personally prefer the newer style bottom dollar no haggle pricing of some dealerships. But ultimately they made me a great deal and delivered it. The manager Rachel and the service teamed seemed very knowledgeable and were professional. Happy Camper so far.

We went into Ron Hoover Lamarque and they were very busy. We were looking for a specific travel trailer and Gibby took the time and showed us what we were looking for. I bought a 831clbss from them before and now I plan to upgrade to a fifth wheel toy hauler. We like Ron Hoover so much we decided to stay here in the park for the first month and still haven’t left. Kim-the park manager is always so nice and accommodating. Meagan-RV specialist treated us like family and helped us from beginning to end. Zach- sales manager was straightforward and honest. Our salesperson was Meagan and she started working for us before we ever arrived on site. We contacted her to let her know what we were looking for and why. When we arrived she had models set up for us to view in the cool that met our list of likes. She even showed us a couple more after meeting us that sounded like what we wanted. We chose a beautiful 319DV Columbus. We got a great deal on the RV as well as a VERY fair value on our trade. We got thousands more than the next best offer. The management staff was wonderful to work with. The service department went above and beyond and met our deadlines and goals. Jake and Daniel are super gentlemen to take care of you. I wish I could remember the parts department man. I think it is Dillon. He made us a great offer on a package to get us started in our new RV. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. These folks worked very hard to make us happy. And we are very happy.

Had a great experience buying a travel trailer. I told the salesman the size, weight, and budget I wanted and he put me in the right one in 30 min. The Finance department was very helpful and on point with all their items. I was in and out in 2 hours. For someone who has little experience about travel trailers, they were really helpful and knowledgeable. I might also add their prices were really reasonable.

Had absolutely no problem with this group. Bought a new travel trailer there. The salesman, John Colson was very polite and helpful...no high pressure salesmanship. Very down to earth.The rest of the staff were business like and friendly.I had a question regarding the flooring in the trailer, and they worked with me to answer my question, even allowing me another visit to their facility to examine and discuss my questions. All solved to my satisfaction.The other thing I appreciated was no high pressure to purchase a service contract. I purchased a 2019 Microlite by Flagstaff from Ron Hoover on Gulf fwy just outside of Galveston island.This is my second purchase; traded in our 2015 for this lovely micro.I cannot speak highly cannot speak highly enough about the staff, particularly the maintenance who took care of an issue with the manufacturing sending wrong parts or unnecessary delays. The staff here were very nice and helpful and it didnt feel fake like a car dealer sales staff. They helped us narrow down our choices to what we could safely pull and then what we wanted and could afford. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Worst dealership I have ever been to, we traded in our fifth wheel and we left some items in there because we were in a rush, anyways after numerous phone calls Samantha finally found them and told us she was going to get them out of our old trailer and hold them until we were able to come get them. Come to find out my husbands hat, Oakley sunglasses, my fossil watch & a VS bra were “thrown” away. Who in their right mind throws things like that away, especially after a customer has called numerous times In reference of those items and one of their employees even confirmed they were in there and that she was going to “hold” them for us. They are very sneaky, always giving you the run around and they were never upfront and honest. Our door to the washer/dryer was busted up, they said they would replace it and it’s been 1 month. We still do not have a door. They sold us a totally different trailer than the one we picked out.When we got our new trailer home, there was numerous issues. Our heater makes this awful screeching noise, the doors in the rear of the camper will not open including the dresser. The washing machine leaks horribly and will not lock. The trim is hanging off the wall. I can honestly say I think they sold us the crappiest camper they had on the lot.Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

We purchased a new 2017 fifth wheel rv from Ron Hoover in early August of this year. The sales department and finance department were outstanding. The level of service from John, Zach and Rachel was outstanding. However, that high level of service certainly does not seem to carry over to the service department. At the time we purchased the vehicle (08/10/17) we noticed two of the wheels were scratched and needed replaced. Rachel and John took care of this with the Service Manager Don, who was given the paperwork to order replacements from the factory. Guess what. We are still waiting on them or maybe even a phone call??? John has been exceptional at responding to us, however, we understand that the rims (and the tire sealer they still owe us) have to go through the service manager Don.So, if you want an excellent buying and finance experience, go see John and Rachel! They Rock. However, if you need anything from the service department I wish you well. Two months waiting on rims and tire sealer, seems we fell off the radar once money changed hands.

The service department has been nothing but great! Don and his crew have worked on my coach on and off for almost a year now repairing warranty issues. Even though I didnt purchase the coach from Ron-Hoover, they have bent over backwards to accommodate my repairs (of which there have been many). ALL repairs were completed the FIRST time and to my satisfaction. I would recommend Don & his crew to anyone!

We definitely recommend going to Ron Hoover for any of your recreational vehicle needs!

It is really disappointing that we were lead to believe that with the Route 66 Warranty, we would have priority service. EVERY time weve had our RV serviced it is beyond ridiculous to amount of time or disservice we actually get. We actually stopped going to the Katy location, where we purchased our RV, because the guy that seemed to always have our case, was so incompetent. Our last visit in La Marque was for a simple thing as the awning lights quick working. Our RV SAT on the lot for 2 weeks before looking at it or we got an answer after we called. We went and picked it up because Hurricane Harvey was due to come in. Upon picking it up, it was out in a pasture covered in mud. We got it home, the AC was left on. No reason to be in there with AC. We were told it would be 5 days before we would get the lights in. It has now been almost a month. 6 weeks since we took it in! This is just the icing on the cake. Times before this, Ron Hoover whether La Marque or Katy, they have cracked our fiberglass with scaffolding, poked a hole in the roof, left ridiculous messes inside the camper that should not have even been there. Sad to say that you expect bad service at RV dealerships, but we are sadly disappointed since purchasing from Ron Hoover.

I am a total novice at this Rving, but bought my first one ever this week, and with the help of Zach Hernandez and all his team, I came away confident I can do this and so pleased with the service. They were extremely patient with me and Jeffery stood by allowing me to hook the travel trailer up myself, always with a watchful eye but full of encouragement. I thank you all and will always highly recommend purchasing any RV here.

Just recently went there looking for a camper that we have had our eyes on for quite a while and Cierra stepped in and helped us open our eyes to potential options and went through the whole process with us. I took my RV into Ron Hoover to have a vent fan installed and to have a water leak repaired. The fan was installed just fine but the water leak was never addressed and they had my TV for a month. I grew frustrated that nothing was happening that I just went and got the RV and now Im looking to find someone else to help me out.

Bought a used travel trailer and traded it in a couple of months later on a new one that was an upgrade. John and the entire staff have always been very helpful. It is very important to have support when you own an RV. They are a one stop shop. Sales, storage, parts, repairs and general problem solving for the novice owner. I stongly recommend them for your RV service or purchase.

We were delightfully pleased by the service and attention we received at Ron Hoover La Marque — so much so that we elected to buy our travel trailer here even though Ron Hoover also has location that is 300 miles closer to us! Sales advisor Wendy Fox listened carefully to our descriptions and showed us units that fit our needs. Even after we made the decision to buy, Wendy continued to communicate with us regularly until (and after!) the transaction was complete. When we took possession of the unit, technician Daniel walked me through the operation of every detail of the camper. In addition, Ron Hoover comped me a night in their adjacent RV park so I could try everything out before leaving the dealership. Parts salesman Dave took great care of me and came outside to inspect my hookup before I finally pulled out. Wendy knew when our first road trip was scheduled; she sent good wishes before we departed and followed up afterward to make sure everything worked okay. Seriously, youre not going to find customer service like this anywhere. Did I mention that we drove over 350 miles from home just to do business with this location and with Wendy? #verypleased

I had a great experience in large part due to Greg Gottlieb. He was knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant to chat with. Having been in sales my entire adult life, and then some, I can spot an insincere sales person 100 miles away and Im always skeptical. Greg won me over. If I am ever able to go down this path for myself I would only want to do business with him. You are lucky to have him.

Recently found an RV for my son to live in at the Houston RV show. Even though the salesperson at the show (not from the LaMarque location) made certain promises that didnt necessarily get relayed to the local office, Zack and Rachel at the La Marque Ron Hoover location scrambled once made aware of the situation and kept each of the promises. Will definitely be returning when we are ready to purchase again. Great service and keeping promises are important goals and they hit both with us!!

Bought a Viking 2018, had some manufacturer defects, took a couple trips into service to get resolved but so far had a pleasurable experience at Ron Hoover. The staff has been decent, very good communication, always willing to answer questions. Thanks

These are the best people to work with! Tanner was so good to find things that we really wanted to look at. We have bought from them in the past and they never have failed to be courteous and genuine.

John was a wonderful sales person he explained everything to us the way it should be Zachary is an outstanding gentleman very out going. Daniel took us for the walk about on the camper showed us everything we needed to know also took the the jeep and placed the wiring harness very well job. Dave in the parts department was respectful knew what he was talking about.
