Great store. Christine (mgr) really helped out my wife with some kinda business, after a death in our family. Mandy came back with a new spirit, almost. I think bringing to light a few things for her. I dont know what women talk of, when they go shop, all I know is that it was a positive experience for her. Thank you Christine.

I simply love this place. As a craft person of many talents this place has way too many items for me to be walking into. I always end up buying way more than I intended to buy. I cannot say that I like staff very much as that I do not get offered as much help because they are busy watching me, assuming Im there to steal.

Rather disorganized and unfortunately customers are at the mercy of employees that seem dead set that they will only do the absolute minimum requirements of their job. I heard We dont do that a number of times. I had to ask for the breakables to be wrapped and protected at check out. They still were not and fell out of the cart and broke. 2 other employees came from the back when I stood up and blindly asked for help while the floor was covered with broken glass. The original employee did not even react.

When I write a review I try to think about what the business could do better. In this case I dont know what Michaels could do better but I just dont love being in the store. Maybe its the lighting or something. They have pretty much all the crafting things you could want and the staff was nice. Come here for what you need and get back home.

Good store location with easy access.

The Michaels in La Mesa was clean, well stocked and had plenty of helpful employees on the floor. When we had trouble finding something, the sales team was more than happy to point us in the right direction. I found some great stuff on clearance! 60-70% off lots of items throughout the store. I bought 5 extra items because the deals were too good to pass up! I highly recommend stopping in for crafts, jewelry, toys, paints, games, etc. They really have it all especially now being stuck at home with little to do, its the perfect time to stock up on some fun.

The staff here is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was content to spend some time there looking for something tiny that I needed, but a worker there stopped me and asked if I needed help. I told her what I was after and she directed me right to it!

Mostly always able to find what I’m looking for and then some. Unfortunately, I came in for origami paper and none of their locations carry it and it is not carried online anymore.

This Michaels craft store is smaller than my normal store but I accidentally placed my online order to being picked up at this store location. The people at the back desk were abnormally friendly and even offered to bring my 2nd cartful out to the car and help me loaded. There were no lines when I went which made me very tempted to purchase more things because I would not have to wait but I resisted as I didnt have any coupons with me

They were keeping capacity low due to COVID but the line moved rather quickly and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Picked up some fun new projects for myself and hubs.

Great selection of craft paints and able to get bundle package of brushes.

They have everything you need for crafts. However if youre Disabled be aware the aisles are mostly Not accessible. I travel with a Service Dog and a walker or a cane depending on the day and I had a hard time getting around in the aisles. Also good luck getting assistance. Again they have everything you need, but good luck getting to it.

This place has everything

I normally like Michels but for some reason this location never has your basic gobby supplies stocked. Out of spray/ regular paint, sand paper, vynal, blank tees and the customer service sucks!

Love this place. Lots of material to brighten ones imagination..And model planes and cars in stock all the time.

Have really good yarn/bead selection. Yarn - several colors in Lion and Red Heart styles. Premier yarn is there, and love the cotton color choices in Lily brand. Bead selection includes real stone beads that are marked by type on their product cards.

I was looking for decorative paper and they have a great assortment.

Pointless to critique or criticize prices I feel. Buy on Amazon if youre happier with their price. But from a service standpoint Marti was so helpful for me today. She saved me a trip home and was patient and empathetic. If she is the best representation of the staff of this location then theyre in great shape! Thanks so much!

Not sure I want to share. Very friendly willing to help look for anything and they don’t leave you in line forever. I hate spending more time in line to pay then I did shopping. That’s the number one reason I don’t go to Joannes

They have a pretty good selection of craft supplies and various other things. The staff is hard to find when you need them, the checkout lines are usually pretty long, and the shelves can look a bit picked over at times. This store has all the hallmarks of being under-staffed, but once you do get to a staff member, they are very helpful and nice.

We had a great time shopping at Michaels!! We had so much fun looking at all the scrapbooking stuff!!!!We also looked at stickers and adult coloring books!! You could spend hours in this store!! Thank God we put a $ limit before we went in the store. Rachel the manager was awesome!!!! She helped us get the most discounts we could!! We love coming to this Michaels on Fletcher Parkway!!!! We will definitely be back to shop some more!!

At 1st I felt like I was being watched to see it I would steal anything.. and didnt like the feeling till I was approached by an employee and she said you looked lost I laughed cause I was! She helped big time and the cashier hooked me up with a big discount. Very awesome people.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Asked for a specific journal/scrapbook and the staff knew exactly what I needed. She retrieved it for me also, which was very helpful. The store was very clean and organized also.

Has decent deals on occasion. Always look for coupons, full price is a little too high. Friendly staff. Order online and store pick up are pluses. Can at times get pretty bare bones especially around the holiday so I always check inventory online first before heading to one.
