Very pretty dresses but the staff was less than attentive. They seemed to possibly be over booked which when you are looking for a wedding dress you would like that focus on you. Several times I had to flag someone down to help me get in and out of dresses. My dress stylist was running around doing other things so I didnt really get to even explain what I did or didnt like about each dress. I understand if it was due to lack of staffing but maybe the appointments should not be able to be booked if there arent enough people to help. I appreciate the help I did get though.

I came here for my High School Prom in 2011 and I found my prom dress. I then knew I would be back to shop and find my wedding dress. And I was right! 10 years later I come back and I found my wedding dress! I had the amazing help from the wedding consultant CARLA! Shes sweet, helpful, attentive, fun, and Phenomenal! She listened to what I wanted in a wedding dress and she knew her inventory. So much so, that after I told her what I wanted in a dress she knew right away which she was pulling and, when it came time to try on what she pulled. My first dress ended up being My Dress. She knocked it out of the park. And with the matching veil, which I also purchased, was just on point. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!!

What a fantastic place! We worked with Gaby, and I must say that working with her was by far the best experience we had in finding a wedding dress. Gaby took her time and didnt push us just to make a sale... She was with us every step of the way! I cant recommend her enough!

**Update**The general manager, Janet, reached out after reading my first review. She was really kind and apologized for the experience. I really appreciated her reaching out even though she didnt need to. She honored the 10% since I had just stepped out of the store to look the pictures before purchasing. I still wish the initial experience would have been better, but Janet was very pleasant to talk to and I can tell she cares about the store and her customers. I would have liked to do my appointment with her.*********************************************************************This was my first day dress shopping and I had such an incredible experience at the first two locations that I left with a sour taste in my mouth after this place. My appointment started late and they schedule brides every hour so felt pretty rushed. I brought pictures in from favorites I saw online to give them an idea and her first response was “you have work cut out for me”. I found a dress I really liked but stepped outside to look at the pictures with my friends before making a decision as to not to impede on the other bride that just arrived. We went back in less than 10 minutes later, but because I stepped outside the store, the 10% discount no longer applied. My wedding is soon so I bought the dress- not to mention the one off the self- which I should have just said no and thought on it after they said I don’t qualify for the 10% off anymore. Because for one, there are absolutely no returns, refunds or exchanges once you purchase the dress- not even within 24 hours (which they don’t tell you). Secondly, the dresses are cheaper online. I called the store to ask about this and they say people ask that all the time. They attribute this to shipping costs, but shipping cost are not $100 (which is how much cheaper the dress was online). And the price in the store doesn’t include the tax. And thirdly, when I went to see the dress online, there were other ones that looked similar but still different that I would have loved to try. I think I still would have went with the one I got, but they didn’t do a good job of bringing dresses out based on what I was liking and disliking. She was nowhere near as personable as the other two individuals I worked with at the other stores. I probably would have only saved about $115-130 on the dress with the discount, but with a wedding every dollar counts. And I’m more upset about the customer service rather than cost. I wish I could have bought the dress from Bridal and Veil or Bridal and Tuxedo Galleria because the people that worked there were fantastic and super helpful.

I shopped at Prevue Bridal 3/13/21 and said yes to the dress in an hours time. I will start by saying it is a beautiful store with a wide selection of styles and very clean. I didn’t know what kind of style I wanted and was not very excited about wedding dress shopping until I walked in and saw all of their displays. Gaby helped me at my appointment and she was fantastic!! She was so energetic and enthusiastic about helping. She made it so much fun and picked a great variety of styles for me to try on within by budget. I got a beautiful dress for an amazing price and she also helped us purchase my moms dress for the wedding. Thank you Gaby!! I had a great experience at Prevue.

The ladies here were so helpful and kind. The manager helped me personally. They are request appointments currently but were able to get me in when I walked in. The selection is extensive and they pulled a nice selection that all complimented my body and occasion. The hardest part was picking my favorite one. Very low sales pressure. I would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for something formal!

I went to David’s Bridal before my appointment at Prevue and the dresses there just failed to wow me. I didn’t get that feeling in any of the dresses that made me think “this is the dress!”. When I went to Prevue, the lighting was perfect and all of the dresses were gorgeous. The person who was helping me is named Carla and she was the absolute best consultant! I tried on three dresses while there. The first dress was beautiful and did make me cry but I think it was because I was finally seeing myself as a bride. The second dress is one I saw at the window and although beautiful, I knew it wasn’t the one. The last dress I tried on was a nice mixture of the first two dresses and I knew as soon as I walked out and stood on the pedestal that it was my dress! I cried, my mom cried, Carla cried...it was a great experience. Prevue has a great selection of dresses, including plus size dresses! Just be aware that the dresses there aren’t sample dresses. If the dress fits you and you love it, you can take it home as soon as you purchase it! I Loved my experience at Prevue and I’m so glad I decided to visit this bridal store.

I had the best experience at Prevue Bridal. It was the first dress shop I went to and I ended up finding my dress here. I had Gabby helping me out on the floor and she was amazing. She really took what wants I had in mind and turned them into reality. My mom and soon to be mother-in-law were present and Gabby helped them feel comfortable, too. The policy is they won’t sell the same dress to another girl for the same prom...NOT TRUE!My daughter purchased her dress In March and her friend purchased the same dress at the end of April. They told her friend no one else had that dress, she was the first one.(lie)When she called them to ask what happen, they said my daughter just purchased hers a week ago.(lie)I mean we love the dress, but don’t say that’s your policy when it’s not, just to make a sale!😡Lame!

Wouldnt recommend for prom dresses unless you want to spend loads. Nothing that good is less than 300$ in my experience. Better luck at Bloomingdales or online. Okay service, My consultant was bouncing back and forth between a lot of people and it didnt feel very personal. I explained what I wanted and what I didnt want and I felt these requests were ignored. Probably wont be going back so meh experience. Also dresses are very long so make sure you have time for alterations.

TERRIFYING STORY BELIVE ME!!!I going to share my story briefly: on april i was looking for an specific quinceañera dress, I couldn’t find it here in Vegas, so i called to Florida, texas boutiques, oh my surprise! PREVUE from San Diego had it $870.00dlls, i paid half, a month after the dress arrived to prevue i asked them to shipping to my home, of course paid my balance, (they had my address well specified and clear), this is where the ugly begins—— a week after they shipped it, I called the boutique, asking how much more longer it would take, a lady told me UPS left the dress at your door 4 days ago, my soul left my body !!! They sent me to investigate with UPS many times, until UPS confirmed that PREVUE sent it to another address !!! Many times frustrated, desperate I asked Prevue!!,they only answered we have 37 years in the market !!! THEY NEVER ASKED ME TO APOLOGIZE, THEY NEVER ACCEPTED THEIR GARRAFAL ERROR, THEY NEVER GIVEN ME AN OPTION TO ANOTHER DRESS, THEY NEVER TOLD ME WERE GOING TO SOLVE IT IMMEDIATELY..they blamed UPS, with all their arrogance caitlin manager-tianna-devin-janice!! Today they gave me another one, because an angel named Brenda took all the importance of it, bad experience, no matter how old your business has been in the market, if you dont know how to be a professional to solve a big problem and recognize your mistake!!!

My daughter and I just happened to come upon the store, I’ve always known about the dress store I just did not realize that they had an additional store that was wedding dresses well with my daughter getting married soon we decided to look at their wedding dresses after leaving David’s bridal, and our experience at prevue was absolutely amazing the staff was so kind and helpful and knowledgeable and the store was absolutely beautiful . the first dress my daughter tried on we bought. beautiful dresses beautiful store and wonderful staff I would highly recommend this store. I know David’s bridal has been around forever that’s why we went there first, I just found between the two stores that David’s bridal‘s dresses weren’t as nice as the dressers that prevuehas, their dresses were very up-to-date the other ones at David’s bridal not so much, they were pretty but they didn’t have that oh my God factor that prevues dress is did.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at PreVue looking for a prom dress. We had the privilege of working with Maya. She was delightful to work with: knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, incredibly helpful and patient. My daughter tried on at least 20 dresses and Maya always came back with a smile and treated my daughter like royalty and made her feel like a princess!She also took the time to find out what what my daughter’s preferences were, and then she walked us through the many styles and brands of dresses PreVue carries. She then hand-picked numerous dresses that best fit my daughters shape, personality, and colors that would compliment her.It was a great overall experience and we appreciated Mayas sincere effort in finding the perfect prom dress. My daughter said “YES” to the dress!

I purchased a dress. Before purchasing I was guaranteed that the dress would be cleaned. The dress had stains. So with that guarantee I payed the dress on 09 21,2019. The store associates told me that the dress will be cleaned and available for pick up on 09 24, 2019. I made arrangements with a tailor for the bottom portion on 09 27,2019 at 9:00am. I went to pick up the dress on 09 26,2019 at 7:30pm. They brought me the dress inside the store. I examined the dress for the stains that their cleaner was supposed to remove. I found several and the same stains as before. There was no cleaning done to the dress. Therefore I asked to speak with a manager and or supervisor but, the associate told me that there was none at the store. She rudely told me to take the dress out of the store and bring it back the next day, or, to call the next morning at 9:30am. I told her my situation of already having arrangements based on what they guaranteed me. The associate repeatedly told me to take the dress with the stains. I was not feeling comfortable with taking a dress that was dirty when they guaranteed me cleanliness. With that the dress still remained at the store and I left. Next Day, I called in the morning just like the associate told me to do at 9:30am. A lady answered the phone, and I explained my situation, and I asked her for a refund or a free alteration due to my lost appointment. I asked her if I could speak with a manager and she declared that she was the manager. She said that she could not give me a refund and repeated that the dress would be ready for pick up at 11:00am. I asked to speak with the corporate so she transferred the call. That person was rude and told me the same thing. She told me the dress was going to be ready at 11:00am with 25 dollars if I wanted it. I asked for her name and she hung up. I called back and the lady asked for my name and said “we already told you your dress will be available to pick up at 11am” she didn’t want to give me any names. Please do not get scammed by these rude people. I don’t encourage anyone to shop here and I will no longer shop here as I found much more pleasant dress shops.

Walked in and Gaby greeted us right away. She asked what we were looking for and she found 2 dresses that we absolutely loved right off the bat. She helped with ideas on alterations and was extremely helpful and nice. We found my daughters wedding dress from her knowledge of the store and dress styles. There are 2 stores across from each other and they have a great selection of wedding and formal dresses.

I was just there this weekend and I highly recommend Gabby if youre looking for your wedding dress, she was awesome and made me and my family feel very comfortable the whole time. Gabby listened to what kind of style I was looking for and she also through in a couple of dresses she thought would look good on me. I said yes to the dress in that appointment!!! Needless to say Gabby knows what shes doing and shes just phenomenal I cant imagine my experience at Prevue any other way...I also forgot to mention I had my appointment at Prevue at 11:30am and had scheduled one at 1:30 at Davids bridal accross the street, well I never made it to Davids bridal she found my dress and it was perfect!!!!

Prevue is always amazing. If you are looking for a special occasion dress you really need to come by here. Ive sent 3 brides here and theyve all bought their dresses here. They also have extensive pageant dress options. With knowledgeable staff and one site alterations you dont have to feel like you are running all over the place.

They spend countless hours finding and then repackaging numerous dresses during formals proms and weddings. Their dresses and gowns are extremely beautiful and elegant and totally worth the splurge. Anyone that has an issue with Prevue has an issue with themselves. I came all the way from the central valley 4.5 hrs away and totally splurged on my baby girl for her formal because she is a well deserving child. Thanks to Leslie and all the other associates at Prevue. PS this is a bridal boutique and then some.

Yes the dresses are extremely beautiful. However the prices are just too high. Ok if you have that kind of money to be dropping over $100 on a dress for a school dance your daughter will wear once then hear you go. But for us that dont own anything thats over $50 and cant pay in installments, no thanks.Besides that its so cluttered and full good luck finding your size without knocking 3dresses of the rack. And forget about getting good help its completely understaffed.

I went in there to look around for a USMC ball dress. The service was amazing! She gave me a lot of great choices, was kind, they had strapless bras and heels to try on with the dresses which I loved because you could really get the full effect of the look! The only thing I didnt really like about it was that there were too many sequin type dresses and all others were a little plain. Luckily I found one right in the middle.

I am a repeat customer, 4 years of prom and formal dresses. I know with absolute certainty my girls always walk out with 2 show stopper dresses. The staff has always been the best....up to 4 hours finding the perfect dresses. Worth the 4 hour drive! Just wish there was a Prevue closer!

This place probably has the best selection of formal wear for women in San Diego. Their formal wear selection is probably bigger than their selection of wedding gowns. I purchased my wedding gown here 10yrs ago, and many high school dance dresses 20 years ago. Great shop.

The staff here suck. I was in there for over 30 minutes looking for a dress and not on e did anyone assist me, even after I made eye contact with at least two of them. Great selection of dresses though, I decided to go down to Chula Vista, ended up spending just under $300 on a dress, shoes and a hat! I had a $600 budget to spend that day. Their lack of customer service saved me a lot of money!

Ordered 4 dresses 1 measured by out of state daughter herself and the dress fit perfect 3 dresses measured by owner (According to her) fit to tight, hard for the girls to breath and bend over a bit, one the zipper looked like it was going to separate and took 3 people to get it zipped up. All conversations were they fit my reply yes but not properly, I will say Steve was willing to reorder the dresses but by the time he agreed it was to late to get them in time. I had all 3 dresses altered for $135.00 and they are unwilling to pick up the bill still claiming they fit.We are long time customers of this store but not anymore our next step will be small claims court for reimbursement, not so much for the money but the principal of this matter and yes the money.Oh and by the way this was the first time we had a problem with them, so what has changed new management, employees ??? I dont know but what I do know customer service is not the same and this will be our last time buying dresses here.If you plan to do business with them beware.

I had the best experience with finding my wedding dress there Lea truly made the experience, I talked with her breifly the day before and went in the next day showed some pictures of the style and literally the first dress she pulled happened to be THE ONE. This store has the worst customer service I have ever expericed. In the store that day there were only 2 customers including me. After I asked to try on a dress outside of my (tentative) budget, the woman in the store unzipped me from the dress, refused to help us, and asked us to immediately leave. I wanted to try it on to see how the sillouhette would look on me, but I left without a dress. I was definitely looking to purchase a dress from PreVue so this was disappointing after the long drive. This staff member was horrifyingly insensitive and I will never go back.

Disappointed and Feeling Lied toYesterday I went into the store with a fellow bridesmaid to express our concerns with the shipment of our dresses. We explained that we were told, by Liza an associate, that if we were to order our dress (in an individual manner, not a group manner) by the end of July, then we would receive our dress by November. What we were Not told was that our dress orders would be output once All Of Us had finished paying. If we had known that to start with, then some of us bridesmaids could have loosened up our financial schedules in order to have had more time with the payments for the dress. What hindered our original plans more so was the fact that the same associate Received but never Executed the final order for the final bridesmaids dress, therefor delaying our entire lot of dresses from being shipped out. Now whether or not that particular associate is still with the company, when, as I said above, I went in yesterday to talk to the standing manager of the day, Caitlyn, we were given the run around as well as opposing information to what we had been told Months ago. I merely wanted to express my concern that one of their associated was giving out false or skewed information which ultimately affected a customers experience And wallet.While talking to the manager In Person yesterday I felt we were being given the runaround so that I or my fellow bridesmaid would not have to be gifted or offered a sincere apology. While expressing my concerns one employee would answer one thing while another would chime in one a different aspect of the question. It’s happened to all of us from time to time; we get sub-standard service, but this customer service I received was Poor and Disappointing, which in turn made me too uncomfortable to ask for any sort of reimbursement. The manager said that we would now receive our dresses late in December due to all of the miscommunication and associate error. The wedding is in February and I would have liked to have had more than a month to get alterations done, just in case one alternation isn’t satisfactory and another is required afterward. ANY sort of reimbursement would have been Greatly appreciated, whether it had been expedited shipping or free/discounted alterations, but all I received was apathetic attitudes and forced smiles.I was excited to shop here originally, having walked by it numerous time and seeing all of the beautifully designed and decorated dresses, but after this unfortunate experience I will be looking for other shops to purchase from for me and my soon to be engaged friends. I have heard good things about A Toast to Beauty in Kearny Mesa, or Even any David’s Bridal, and I think I will be moving my business there until further change comes from Prevue.

Wish there was an option of no stars. My soon to be wife has been in tears all day. She got home from buying what she had hoped was the dress of her dreams and realized in the photos that she didnt love it as much. Luckily (so she thought) she had only made a mistake in the color and could do a strait across exchange for the color that would make her feel like a beautiful bride (it is literally the same dress, same price, going from a nude mesh to a white mesh) and they refuse to exchange (her never worn, still in tags, still the in the bag) wedding dress.You would think after spending over a thousand dollars on a dress they could help her out considering you only get married once and it is such a big deal to her. The staff was more than cold to her over the phone and needless to say she is devastated.Dont shop here if you expect any help or human decency.

My sisters have bought about five dresses from here now and the sixth which was my twin Sisters wedding dress turned to a complete mess. We went to look for the dress (June 2015) and the associate who helped us added rimestones to which we accepted. She measured how much we would need and At the end it was a total of X & the associate told us the price included everything and the next time we would come to pay it all of it would be ready since we put it in layaway. Well a month later (Late July 2015 two weeks before the wedding) we get to the store and we got the dress and the rimestones seperate. There was a manager who said the alterations is a seperate price and we would have to pay extra money for that when we were told and promised that the price we signed up included doing everything it needed. The manager said she did not know what to do since she wasnt the one who helped us and did NOTHING at all. We went back two days after & we were told the same thing: you have to pay extra money for alterations and we wont refund your purchase. We kept on looking for the manager and the store and to top off all the girls working at the time which was five girls were managers. They did NOTHING and once I told them we were promised a complete dress with rimestones the older manager got mad yelling us the only thing you can do is leave it or pay for it because were not going to refund it and left after yelling at us. They gave us a bunch of list of people who could do the alterations for cheaper but the thing is we had agreed to a payment which included everything. I mean money isnt a matter to me is just theyre word and the way they dont know how to act. All the workers which were managers kept on talking & talking instead of actually doing something. At the end we decided to pay for the dress and rimestones itself since it was the only thing we could do. Once we paid I asked who was the CEO or in charge of the company and I was told to talk to the general manager. I said I wanted to talk to the owner and I was denied by one of the managers Caitlin. Never coming back and for sure dont recommend it for it will cause an enormous headache and terrible customer service. I am disappointed..

Ok so Im getting married in July and I looked everywhere in San Diego for a dress. (Macys, JCPenny, Ross, TJMaxx, Catherines, Great Curves, Marshalls, Torried, Norstroms!) And being 57 yrs young, and a plus size, it was discouraging. I finally went to Prevue and I cannot believe the service I received!!!!!! One of the ladies (Terri) didnt make me feel uncomfortable, and she brought up 4 dresses and helped me endlessly and I found (she found) the PERFECT DRESS!!! And the price was within my budget. I LOVE THIS DRESS. Im not sure if Im more excited over the dress or how I was treated. The ladies made me feel beautiful, happy, and so so satisfied, I will tell everyone about my beautiful dress. I love Prevue!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Terri!! You guys rock!!! Judy

Horrible experience!! They tried giving me a ripped dress and refused a refund after I decided they where too unprofessional to work with!
