Everyone we dealt with at La Mesa Flooring was knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated Marks design input and had confidence with the company after my first visit. Jay did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors, and made sure we were 100% happy with the end result. We had a particularly challenging custom carpet install, but Alex took all the time necessary to make it perfect. Just completed a 1,300sf installation of luxury vinyl plank with La Mesa Flooring Company, and we could not be happier! The first time I went to the shop, I met Ralph, who was pleasant to speak to and showed me the styles and features of several flooring options. He was professional and didnt try to upsell me. I ended up taking a handful of samples home to see if they match my home.Next time I brought the samples back and met Eric. They answered questions I had about installation and scheduling, and I felt in good hands enough to make a deposit and sign the contract.Peggy came out to my home to take measurements and notes on how Id like to install the laminates. She told me ahead that leveling may be required before installation can take place so that I was aware.What impressed me most was the proactive and constant communication from Eric while we waited about a month before the installation can start due to the windows and door getting installed before that. Erics communication was very warm, real, respectful, and professional. This was the number one factor that would make me do business again.Once the installation started, it took two days due to the leveling that was required. Peggy and Eric were upfront about the cost of doing this and they explained to satisfaction when I had questions about the extra billable hours for leveling. I was happy with the outcome. It looked great and did not dip or squeak, and I got to keep some planks for backup. Thank you Ralph and Eric and Peggy for a great business experience.

We received estimates for our whole home flooring project from 3 companies and La Mesa Flooring was our first choice. Pricing was reasonable and competitive. This was because of the product knowledge and recommendations made by their designer (Mark). The total workmanship exceeded our expectations (Eric and Ivan).The workers were always on time and completed the project by the agreed upon time. They kept us informed as to the process along the way. The carpeting manufacturer originally sent the incorrect carpet style (carpet roll was mislabeled in the factory). La Mesa Flooring resolved the problem quickly by working with the manufacturer area rep, having the correct carpet expedited from the east coast.During this process, we were able to continue to live in our home as they completed the LVP in our living spaces and carpeting in the bedrooms. Communication with the staff was superior - responding to emails and phone calls quickly.It feels as if we have moved into a new home!

Im in the market for flooring and wont go with this company because they clearly do not want to work with you if you are not a particular type of client. I got an unkindly snub a la pretty woman... as in how much is this...their answer, i dont know, its very expensive the employee turns to ask another employee at the desk which in turn he replies I dont know. Obviously l wasnt their ideal client as I can tell by the way the employee there was looking up and down at me. Maybe I wasnt dressed to her liking and decidedly made a very poor effort to help me. Keep in mind, every human being deserves a basic measure of decency and respect no matter what!

A+ for La Mesa Flooring - Ive been working with them almost 20 years! Recently they demod and installed vinyl product in both of my bathrooms, as part of bathroom remodeling project.. First, Mark came out, helped me select products (and get the colors right). Installers all did excellent job...they possess problem solving and communication skills. Product is great - I dont miss tile and associated grout one bit. Will always use and recommend these fine folks.

Dont waste your time!I was there this morning to buy some tile. I walked in and there was only one person manning the showroom. This guy was on the phone and completely ignored me. No Good Morning, I will be right with you, nothing. I waited and waited for him to get off the phone but his conversation was clearly much more important than my business. I finally gave up and walked out. In my experience as a contractor, this kind of arrogance usually reflects a poor work ethic. Avoid La Mesa Flooring if you can. I know I will.

Recently moved from CO to CA and after purchasing the home in La Mesa via long distance the team at La Mesa flooring made it easy to pick out samples, locate carpet and schedule install with our schedule for traveling back and forth. I went with this company because of all the great reviews but my experiences was anything but positive. Left work early to meet with the sales person at my house for a quote, only to receive a phone call 5 minutes before the scheduled time that he was going to drive back to the store before coming to my appt and would be late. Had to call the store 3 days later because I still had not received the quote.Update - Even after the owner replied still do not have the quote.

What is great about this company is CHOICE. I had visited Lowes and a few other flooring companies, and just no real choices besides wood and porcelein tile. I have a house that is on stilts, and needed some flexible flooring. La Mesa Flooring explored different options for me with linoleum and vinyl tiles. I do love my kitchen floors. The folks at La Mesa Flooring Company gave us great, personalized service on our new carpet installation. We requested they install a metal transition strip between the new carpet and existing tile, which is an a-typical application. It came out flawlessly. They were helpful and quick. I only had a couple of days to replace my kitchen floor before appliances were due, and they made it happen for me. The installer did a great job and didnt cause any damage to my brand new cupboards.

I am very happy that I chose La Mesa carpet and Linoleum to install my new linoleum kitchen floor. They were helpful in their office, ready with color samples. They were timely in their communication with me. The installers were friendly, and paid close attention to details being sure that they applied the sub flooring and then the adhesive and linoleum. The seam is very well disguised and nearly invisible. Clean up was excellent.
