I hate to be this person...vaccinated workers will still need to mask up at workplaces until June 28 and then the rules will be reevaluated.Theyre ALL not masked. And even public, indoor unmasking for the vaccinated doesnt go into effect for a few more days.During the beginning of the re-opening from the pandemic restrictions, they were really accommodating and I felt good about going there. And Im very used to businesses following current guidelines, which they did at the time. I honestly think theyre confused about the mask mandate. Its different in every state. But doing their due diligence clearly didnt happen. The CDC has given the okay for people to go unmasked who have been vaccinated but, in California, thats not yet the case for workers who interact with the public or who cannot social distance. They all may be vaccinated. They might not be. But not following current guidelines, no matter how much I appreciate their service, has made me no longer comfortable going there.

Notary available unlike UPS store that allowed me to make an appointment online only to tell me their notary doesnt actually arrive till an hour later (whaaat?!) People working here super friendly, lots of fun little gifts and things to buy too if you need a gift in a pinch! My new favorite shipping store!

We have had to use several mailbox type stores over the years in various states and San Diego locations for business. This is by far the best one we have ever experienced! This is our third year with them and as long as we do business in this area, we will never leave them. The family team that owns it truly cares about their customers! The husband and wife are always there working hard. Reminds me of how hard my parents worked in their stores. They have done so many wonderful accommodations for people during this difficult season. If you have medical conditions that prevent a mask or face shield, they dont treat you like a 2nd class citizen because you have a disability. If you are high risk, they will do curbside for any of their services with just a phone call into the store. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate everyone during this tough time without making people feel bad. I wish more stores were so caring and competent!

What could be better than shopping in a store where the owners are always there and greet each customer with smiles, kind words and positivity. The customer service is so fabulous at Postal Annex of La Mesa - a true gold standard! A great place for buying cards, interesting gifts and, of course, mailing anything. They even sell cute boxes to make your gift mailings look extra special.

If I could give more stars I would!I have used this location in the past for my passport services, and so glad I came back again. Not only for the awesome photo but helpful and friendly service.They are #1 in my book😁

On 12/15/2020 I did a Notary with postalAnnex for a passport for a minor and paid $17.00 and send it overseas by paying $109 to DHL and when the Embassy checked the documents they said it does not look an original because it was so dark and above all it is from the month of August (08/31/2020) not the new version from the month of December, 2020 and when I came to the office and explained to them what has happened and requested for a refund, since this is a mistake from their side professionally they just told me openly sorry . Honestly speaking I was so disgusted by the attitude and level of customer service I encountered specially by the man in the front desk, simply speaking no heart and emotions .😌😒🙂

When I came on 7/29/2020 I needed to mail important paper work as soon as possible. The lady that was helping me told me that she will send it in the next when they came to pick up the other packages because it was later in the day that I brought it in. I been calling the company if they receive my letter and they said no. It’s been 3 weeks and the company still have not receive my letter! And they charge you $35 to ship the next day. What a waste of my money. If I could give this postal office 0 stars I would. If you guys need to send important documents I suggest you NOT go to this place at all.

I just called because a package that they mailed for me is showing that it was delivered, but my recipient did not receive it. The woman on the phone literally said I dont know what to tell you - did not even ask for a tracking number or anything. I live 2 minutes away and this place is very convenient but I will definitely not be mailing through them again.

It would be helpful if they updated their hours on Google since they actually close during the week at 5 and not at 6pm

Wanted to thank the kind lady and gentleman that helped me ship a Halloween package today. They were attentive to details and bubble wrap the item and provided a box that fit the item. And they wrapped it in nice tape that I didnt purchase. The gentleman kept his word to help me after I had purchased the item that I needed to ship. The lady explained to me when it would be ship and helped me make a shipping label. The service was beyond my expectation and beyond what I could get at the other postal services. And the item I was going to ship would have been declined at other places. Overall my experience there was great. I left the place happy with a smile. I always come here for any shipping needs. Owners have always been friendly and helpful. I have shipped several guitars and they have done a great job packing them so they are secure. I will not go anywhere else. Service means a great deal to me, and they do a great job!!

Steve Clay is the man. I came in with a few items to ship out and he offered to do all the boxing, taping, all that stuff. Fantastic customer service. Couldnt have asked for more. La Mesa is lucky to have him serving the community.

This is a convenient option for when the post office is closed. But two things I have mailed from this store have gone missing, one of which has cost me hundreds in fees. I am filing a claim with USPS. I do not know if the negligence is due to the store’s or USPS’ staff.

The best we’ve found!!! We’ve been using various postal places for almost 40 years and due to a closer service closing, we stubbled across PA in La Mesa.This PA is not like the typical PA or any other postal service! The owners are there everyday, providing the public with personal attention and service!! We’ve been with them for many years now, and have no plan.....or reason to change!!

I travel a lot so I need a box, but I hate going to the Post Office due to their often long lines, inadequate parking, limited services, etc.Then I discovered this Postal Annex outfit. They also provide private mailboxes and handle packages, certified mail and such, but theyre way faster, friendlier and they offer a lot more services. They even forward my mail to me when Im out of town, and when Im in town, I can usually pull right up to the front door, pop-in and pop-out with my stuff. Way better.

For many years I have come to this Postal Annex and I have been pleased every time. Many staff know me and are very friendly. I have never seen them rude to or ignore patrons. I have printed huge volumes of information and bound them there. I have mailed USPS & other packages including UPS/FEDEX/DHL. Yes, sometimes they can be very busy especially during the holidays. But, that is to be expected!

Every time I have used this store, the owner(?has been wonderful to deal with. He has gone beyond expectations to help me. I just simply drop off my package and he does all the rest.

I came in with a post office priority mail package but my stuff couldnt fit The young girl took my package behind a wall. Charged me 3 dollars for a new box I couldnt see if she took any of my belongings. Then Assumed I was going to pay 18 dollars for s 6.80 cent post Ill never go there again. If she had been honest I wouldve understood. Never go there. They are scam artist

This Postal Annex is a very obvious Mom and Pop business. The owners of this Postal Annex are by far the most pleasant and helpful people I have ever worked with. For my mailing options, I go nowhere else and neither should you! Word to the wise: those one star reviews are not about this business. An older lousy mailing company had a similar address number as this business causing confusion.

They are wonderful. Very professional, friendly, and thorough. I needed to ship something cold. I called FOUR shipping stores in the area and they were the only ones that had styrofoam containers AND frozen packs. They made it so easy! Thank you!

Our family has been with Postal Annex in La Mesa for over 4 (four) years. Not only are they great at what they do but they go FAR beyond their call of duty! We love them and are SOOOO grateful for them. Our last experience with a mailbox center was horrible. The fellows running the place were stealing our mail and identities.
