Walked into the store and was approached by Dustin. He is very knowledgeable about all the mattresses in the store and was helpful to us. He also taught us a lot about the different mattresses. We bought my daughter a bed and because he was so great will continue to do business at this store. Great Job Dustin.

This is my first time buying a Mattress and Christian was the one that helped me. I had no idea what I was looking for, but he gave me options, explained how each brand is different from each other and gave me a chance to test them all out. He did give me my space so I can lay on each one of them at my own pace and when I was ready he was there to answer any other questions I might have. At first, I didnt want to just buy the first thing that I saw, so I did a little more shopping. Turns out Christian was able to give me not only the best deal, but great customer service. About a week later, he contacted me to see if everything was okay and I ended up LOVING my mattress. I travel quite a bit for work, and I miss my bed every single time I am not in Houston. Highly recommend going to Mattress 1 for great deals, along with great mattresses. I cannot say thank you to Christian enough for being so accommodating and helping me find something that I would be spending half of my life on.

Purchased a King size Mattress set about 1 month ago. We gave the salesman our City of La Porte coupon for 10% of which came out to about $100 off the purchase price. Instead of taking it of the sales price, the salesman said we would be getting a check in the mail in about a week. Ive called multiple times, talked to different people and they all say there are no notes regarding this. The new manager at this office says he will personally take care of this, has yet to send us anything since 2 weeks ago. Salesman- Blake Mosley. Very unsatisfied.

Waited all day again for our March 19th delivery and now we are being told it will be March 24th! 2 days wasted waiting on this company! Next stop, the BBB! Save yourself the misery, dont do business with Mattress One!Purchased a mattress on March 12th and was told it would be delivered the next day between 8am & 8pm. We waited all day and evening only to be told it was out of stock until March 19th. We spoke with a supervisor and was told we could get a temporary loaner mattress, we have not received a call or a mattress! We will not be repeat customers! Beware and make sure what you pay for is actually in stock!

HORRIBLE customer service from Manager Tracey! Called last week and asked to file a claim for my mattress protector. She said she would call me back. Called again the following week spoke again to Manger Tracey and said I had to call the warranty company myself and provided me with the wrong number. When asked for her to spell the name of the warranty company she refused and ended call. Called again and said she could not speak to me until she spoke to my husband and told me to stop harassing her and ended call again. Called again with husband on the other line and said she had people in the store and had to call me back and ended call again.

AWFUL experience. Take your money and go elsewhere. This place is not worth your time. I bought a mattress at the Laporte location and I have still yet to receive it. I moved into my apartment August 7 and was supposed to receive the mattress on the 8th.. today is this 15th and I still have not received my mattress. On the 8th (the day I was supposed to get it) I never received a call telling me I would not be getting it or anything. I had to call them and ask what was going on.. they told me my mattress was SOLD OUT?! I’m sorry what? I had already purchased this mattress weeks before and they were the ones that told me the 8th was a good day for it to be delivered. They ended up bringing me a loaner mattress two days later... but now they keep giving me days that my mattress should be here and it’s not. This isn’t even about the mattress anymore.. it’s about having to sit at home when I could be at work or out doing something else. So today, the 15th, they told me they’d be here between 8-12 and they’d call 30 min before. It is 11:55 and I still haven’t received a call! Who knows.. I feel like I might not even get my mattress today.. so I wasted ANOTHER day sitting here for no reason at all. Like i said at the begging... take your money and go elsewhere.

Went looking for a painless mattress buying experience and Ben and Cristhian at mattress one on spencer hwy made it just that. They gave us just what we were looking for and at what we feel was a great price. Free delivery and set up made this choice all that much easier. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in the market for a matteress.

We had ordered the wrong size🤔 our fault. Paid $140 to switch. Promised delivery three days in a row . Really, last excuse, truck stuck on ferry and spring break traffic, ya right. Ok got two free pillows, ? Maybe 🙄. suppose to be here by ups on Tuesday . Not holding my breath. To top it off, we received 2 box springs for king mattress, 1 new the other is dirty worn on corners and the underneath falling down. We didnt look, both came sealed in plastic 😅. Why should we have to look . Gonna bite the bullett . Life is to short and personally, do not want to see them again. Yep, got my free pillows had to pick them up Thursday 🙄

Horrible experience buying from mattress one on spencer here in Laporte tx.. my mom went in to look for a mattress for my. BEd ridden grandfather and Was on a budget.. she had looked around with no luck until coming here . The manager sold them a twin mattress told and that payments were certain amount every month and 30 days until first payment. Paperwork was rushed and delivery date was set and delivered on time .. he also promised to throw in a free mattress protector.. after almost 2 weeks and still no protector and being given the run around her account was over drawn .. the payment was double of what the monthly payment was supposed to be .. we tried to sort it out and every time we were able to get in touch he would say no way thats wrong Ill take care of it the amount should not be that high and he was supposed to call us back he wouldnt.. or at times we would call to find out what happened he was not at work .. we are currently in a dispute between mattress one and the finance company the store manager took advantage of them just to make a sale knowing they were on a fixed income... I would never recommend this place to anyone !!!

Baught a matress set about two months ago from store manager in Laporte. He promised my wife three pillows which we paid for, and only got two. He kept promising her the third pillow was on order and he would call her as soon as it came in. Of course he never called. After my wife called he told her he gave it to someone else and he would order another one . Still no pillow. Now about the matress, was told it would be delivered on 2/24/2017 and of course it did not get delivered. My wife was told by store employee that it would not be delivered on Friday but it would be delivered on Saturday by 10:00. Was not delivered and so I told her I would take care of it. I called and talked to store manager and he said that they had computer issue and it was canceling the order each day for delivery. If this was the case please pick up the phone and call warehouse . He asked me to give him till 2:00 to make the delivery. I agreed and still no matress. Didnt even call me. I had to call back and he hung up on me when I asked him about custmer service. Of cousre I have canceled the order and took my business else where.

My wife and I were greeted with a smile at Mattress 1 in la porte, Ben, the store manager took the time to educate us on the proper sleep position, he was so knowledgeable, that I started calling him the OBI-WAN KENOBI of sleep, (we found a common ground with star wars, he does a great yoda impression) and that the force must be strong as i was persueded to really think about what i was missing from my old bed. He took the time to show us the newest technology to get the best sleep and I must say, its no joke! We purchased a queen size rhapsody luxe and about adjustable base that you can raise the head and the feet, its the ergo something or other, we didnt think we could afford a 5000 dollar set but we could afford a monthly payment less than a hundred bucks. We qualified for the 0% interest till 2021 and he got us a free 43 1080p tv... If you see this obi-Ben Kanobi, thank you for taking the time to educate us, and making everything happen so smoothly, we love the store and the delivery was smooth. We have now had our Tempur-pedic for over a month and I have to say it is worth every penny!!!! Let the force be with you Mattress One!!! Havent slept this good in my entire life!

I have always gone to gallery furniture for all my furniture needs. Because it saves me money! Or so I thought. I recently moved to Laporte and did not want to drive out to gallery furniture but I was in desperate need of a mattress so I decided to walk into mattress one, it was the best decision I could have made. Im an extreme cheap person and I look for deals everywhere I go. I was honestly going to buy the cheapest mattress is could find at your store. When I walked in there I was a bit overwhelmed by all my options but a sales boy by the name of Cristhian Salmeron was extremely knowledgeable about mattresses. I was amazed about how much he knew! He spoke to me about the importance of laying in the right mattress and the the correct posture you must have in order to get the most successful sleep. He explained to me the different materials that the mattress are made out of and which one would best fit my posture for years to come. This has been the best bed I have purchased in my entire life and I get the best sleep ever. I never knew how much of a difference a bed would actually make to someones sleep. I am very amazed at the training and level of education yall give your employees yall really need to have more sales men like Cristhian. Yall had made a customer for life and all of this services were at my price range. Thank you Cristhian for your amazing services. I will highly recommend you to anyone who I know needs a bed.
