Staff was not very helpful, they were rude as well. When I inquired about an item, the staff member said we dont carry that, even though the other store checked and told me they did. It seems like customers dont come first at this location, they didn6even offer to check another store. The Covina Big 5 location on the other hand gets 5 stars.

Excellent service . I didnt get the girls name who helped me but it was on 10/23/18 at around 8:50 pm. Anywho she is genuinely happy to help and if big 5 was able to hire more people like her then people wouldnt mind asking more questions that can eventually turn into sales if handled with friendliness, professionalism and understanding that some people may not have any idea on sports items. The 1 star is just to point out that how unsatisfied I was when i attempted to buy shoes here today. Unfortunately i could not get assistance. No one came to the back for 10 minutes while several customers waited. I could have went to the front to ask but there should be someone here. ANYWAYS, I final went to the front and found 5 giggling workers doing i dont know what and at that point I just left with 2 other customers that were also frustrated. What happen to customer? Time to go to Amazon.

Usually Big 5 has great pricing selections on different sports brands. The store runs weekly adds but you sure will find what you need and If you dont the associate will find you a near store to go. Overall, a good sporting store.

Big 5 has an excellent selection of shoes at very reasonable prices. They also carry everything to do with camping and sporting goods. I think that there shoe sales are good enough reason to visit the store and see what else they have that you like. Dont forget to look at the Sunday Newspaper add before you go to see the hundreds of items that they have on sale each week.

Arrived at the store at 9:15pm and a manager told me they were already closed. Asked if they closed at 9:30 and she said they closed at 9. Then I glance over to the door and it clearly states they close at 9:30 on Friday’s.

Needed to get white baseball pants and navy blue belt and socks last minute and they had it all there at a great price was very happy with my purchases.

Please do yourself a favor and buy your rifles elsewhere. Big 5 is a total fraud! Heres my story,I came in to buy a pellet rifle called a gamo whisper fusion pro. the box and receipt came with exactly the description. Heres the fraudulent part...the gun was NOT the gamo whisper fusion pro. Instead it was a bull whisper (totally different). I came back for an exchange. They said we never sold this bull whisper model before. I said, I bought this gun here and I have the proof for it. They said sorry you dont have the exact gun you bought it for. Wow. in other words I am screwed for buying something I cant exchange. Heres a fun fact. They looked up the bull whisper and it is not in their system, inventory, manufacturer purchase order...nothing at all. They sold me the wrong gun when I clearly payed for the correct one. Good job at commiting fraud Big 5. I will never go back to them knowing that anything I buy may not even be exchangeable/ returnable because its not in their system!
