Man, this place gets busy. Their meat department is pretty vast, lots of neat things there.Stop at the kitchen and get yourself some food. You wont be disappointed.

Place is sick, I went in to buy veggies and I came out with tamales, aqua frescas, and bon dulce. They got me 👌

Disappointed!!! I bought a flan after asking 2 employees if their flan is homemade like and they said yes,(they said we use real ingredients).It’s nasty super artificial watery and not milky at all!

A great alternative to the Northgate Market superstore which is constantly riddled with customers long lines and bad drivers, not to mention its closer to where i stay.

I like them because for the most part they do carry authentic mexican ingredients

The Best Market ever, the Deli, the Carniceria, the Produce, just name it and Northgate have it.

My favorite Mexican super market. Even their meat cuts are traditional mexican. Their deli is fantastic and their Champurrado beverage is a sin. overall it always has what I need in the mexican cuisand.

Bought the Freshest Bolillos Ive seen in a long time. They have their own in-house bakery & food. Fresh Mexican Salsas of different kinds & Guacamole. Plus freshly made hot (as in temperature) food. I was very pleased. Except, they didnt have Jocoque... I saw lots of hispanic sour creams, but none that were jocoque.

I love Northgate markets!Everything is so fresh. All the produce, meats, seafoods, pan dulce, Masa, tortillas! My favorite Mexican market.

Had everything I needed. Lines are a bit long to pay or to get sweet bread.

Great prices and selection. Need to be more organized so people are not crowding in front of registers. They should have one line that feeds all registers like they do at other Northgates. The entrance gets very crowded as well.

Just grab some saltine crackers for my mom in law.

Went to toyota service here in La Puente because my daughter bought a brand new Toyota and it got a flat tire there was a half hour to service department close so they told her to go across the street to American Tire very disappointed in the poor quality service

Northgate has STEPPED. IT. UP. with their food. I dont usually go here for groceries but upon walking in and looking at their prepared food, you can tell it is DELICIOUS and IT. IS. Staff are nice and helpful, and they are very safe and clean 👍

It was a good experience. All produce is always very good. Everything we use in our house is always in stock. EXCEPT we always drink DIET SHASTA in the cans. Northgate doesnt stock DIET SHASTA in cans, so we buy our soda at Stater Bros.

Hello so today I went to Northgate market. My experience was not great!! The carts are not inside. You need to come back out to get a cart. They have a person on the entrance giving you a towel. But you have to ask for it. So shouldnt it be that carts should be inside already sanitized. At least all other markets do have it like that! So moving on forward. I get in line to pay. I wait my turn so the person that is getting ready to pay, move forward. Then she leaves, and the cashier leaves too. So my husband, and I are looking for her. Not knowing if we should put our groceries in the bannister, or what. So as were about to go to another checkout. She comes back and says nothing. So we asked her if she was open. She says yes. Ok so we put our items on the bannister, and I move forward to put the cart on the other side, people move right next to me. But really close. I ask them to please step back. That they had to wait till I paid. I thought the cashier would have told them something like that they needed to be 6 feet away. But nooo she had this mean face looking at me just because I told them that. So I came to the conclusion this store does not follow a protocol. Not good at all!!

We ordered food a combo for 7.99 to eat there and the rice and beans were served very good and full but the main item of beef was half way served barley enough for 3 tacos ..

Many folks stocking up this morning. I bought less than ten items, so I was out within 1/2 hr., otherwise long lines. Northgate doing a great job, under the circumstances. Thank you Northgate!

I like it. Fresh vegetables, fruits. The onions were not good, i did not like that, to get fresh bolillos i had to wait 15 min and i did not have time to wait.

A great market to get EVERYTHING you need. Great produce, meat department has great selection and pricing. The prepared food department is my favorite, the 15.99 family meal cant be beat! 1lb of carnitas, 1lb of rice, 1lb of beans, salsa and tortillas with a free soda!? Yes please! All the hot food is great, pan dulce as well, fresh and soft. My favorite market to visit.

Love north gate market Francisquito and sunset... its the cleanest market I been to from this branch... the only reason why Im giving it a 3 star rating is because multiple times Ive seen the Baker use his bare hands to scoop the cake batter no gloves and I dont think that sanitary

Regarding the $80 turkey dinner i bought. Definitely not worth it. Turkey was small to medium and very dry. They put 2 pineapple wheels and cherries like you would a ham ?!? Why?!? 🤔 This dinner came with vert little mash potatoes, gravy and stuffing. The stuffing was not very good! Im sorry Northgate. I love your mexican food but was very unsatisfied with your turkey dinner. Para la otra mejor me compro unos pollos en la Costco.

This marke is great if your looking for latin food they have a wide choice in fresh produce their meat selection is prefect the butchers take time to serve your every need wow from one end to the other clean and fresh ...freindly staff too! Their deli and bakery are also full of choices you can get anything you made need eather to prepair yourself of if in a hury COMPLETE hot and fresh to go you wont be disappointed...

Okay I need you to understand I dont speak Spanish, Im Tohono Oodham so sometimes its hard with communication skills,if you understand what Im saying, but this place never lets me down,from fresh bread made all day chicharron con Long Haul fresh guacamole cooked meats. I think just dont stop I would say make dinner at least once a week, and take a break from the kitchen,we really utilise the fresh bread hint get some of the BBQ pork from your local quick wok Chinese place, and the bread forgot about it

Check out lines are eternal. If you express a concern to a manager they always say someone is on break. Went Friday manager sent me to express lane, lady in front of me was doing her weekly shopping, other line got checked out before me. Manager that sent me to express lane was up front on his phone the whole time. Clueless. Worst managed store as far as running check out lanes Ive ever been to!!! Managers dont care about customers!!!

The store is clean and well organized but the customer service is terrible and the prices are not that great. I felt like I was in Ecuador or any other Latin country I’ve visited. They made the mistake but I was treated like I stole something. I will not shop there again.
