Bought a used car here recently. They were straight forward with the sale. Knocked off a star because the car has some small electrical issues they failed to mention.

Had Gateway fix a ruined head (spark plug blown out of rear passenger side cylinder for a second time) and service timing belt and water pump on my 2000 Toyota 4Runner about 6 months ago. I had it disassembled and all parts labeled, it didn’t scare them one bit. Running strong and not missing a beat with about 7k miles after the work. Good customer service and kept me up to date on the timeline with the repairs. Dave was my service adviser, good job Dave!!!

Our Ram Promaster camper van had a massive air conditioning fail on a road trip from NY to Colorado. Gateway Auto was able to fit us in at short notice and diagnose the problem. They went above and beyond when the required part wasnt immediately available locally and connected us with a shop in Denver, where we were headed. They worked with the Denver shop to order the part and get us an appointment for the next morning. This saved us an incredible amount of time and hassle. They could not have been more professional or kind. It really helped us out! Were so happy to have air for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend them and their work. It was AMAZING service! Also, the best auto service waiting area weve ever experienced.

Couldnt be happier with the wheel alignment. Super clean facility with a big waiting area. Wifi and spare cell phone chargers available. Friendly and close staff - always a good sign when employees get along. Staff is easy to talk to.I recommend and will be back for the inevitable wheel alignment when pot holes and lumpy roads in Omaha destroy my suspension again.

Front desk was very nice and welcoming. They were also funny which was awesome because you always want to put your customers in a good mood when they’re spending money to get their car fixed! They have yummy snacks and beverages in the waiting room. Also gave me a clear diagnosis of what was wrong with my car and were clear about the costs.My car drives wonderfully now. I wanted a second opinion. But I didn’t know a good mechanic place. I googled different auto repair shop and read the different reviews and liked what I read about Gateway. I like the fact that they called and told me what the problem was and how much it would cost. I like that it was close to home open half a day on Saturday. If you needed a ride to your home or work they have a courtesy driver. They are very friendly and polite. I will be going back. Thank you for the service on my car. P.S. They also wash your car too.

This was my first time going to Gateway Auto .my check engine light had come on and found out it was the KAM (keep alive memory wire) was bad. I had done a lot of research trying to find a reasonable repair shop and most places were quoting me almost $1000. Then I came across Gateway auto and all the reviews were 5 stars!! So I called and spoke with Dave the service manager and brought it in for a diagnostic. They found the problem and I brought my vehicle back a week later to be fixed and it was only $247.00..everyone there was so nice and professional and explained everything so that I could understand what exactly the problem was. They did not try to up sell or charge me more money. It was truly a wonderful experience and I will be going to Gateway Auto from now on and also telling everyone I know to go there as well.

I live near Gateway Auto but this was the first time trying them. I had called a few other places, including the dealership to get quotes on having the belts changed on My SUV. They came in at the lowest price (thankfully, because the dealer was significantly higher). Made the appointment and dropped the car off. They had the repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. They also fixed part of the splash guard that I had removed and broke the little plastic retainer screw for a repair near the same area the belts were in without being asked to. Very professional on the phone and in person. I plan on using their services in the future and have begun referring My friends to them as well. Very thankful for them. They came in at the right price at the right time for Me.

Looking for a four drive pickup they had the nicest most reasonably priced lowest mile truck I could find. I dilly dallied too long and it got away. It was a Dodge

My regular mechanic was booked out so I took a chance and called Gateway Auto to repair my heater and to do some basic maintenance. They got my car in same day and had everything complete in under a day. I will definitely be returning for any future maintenance.

Front desk assured/convinced me the Owner would allow payments besides the credit payment option. The younger front desk guy specifically said The owner will work with you. Dead-wrong. Came back in the next day to get denied a payment option. The Owner doesnt work with you and I felt deceived. Had to leave my car for a week to try to scrape money from somewhere. $600 is a lot for a mom of 2 toddlers and as a full time student! Lesson learned that unless I hear it from the lions mouth and its in writing: do not believe it.

I had an oil change and tire rotation. Service was fast, technicians were friendly, and they even washed my car! I didnt get that from the car dealership. The bill was about 30% less than I expected. There are also two cats that consider Gateway Auto their home. I always like to see pets at a business. It says a lot about them.

Kinda Shady. I knew it might not be possible to be seen today as its NYE but when Im standing behind a lady that youre adding up all the costs (at least $1000) of what her vehicle needs AND state loud and clear we can get this done for you today, she declines and leaves, and then to me you say you cant fit in a simple oil change and just check if I blew a fuse or need a new blower motor, its kinda shady. Guess I wasnt going to spend enough to be a bother. I WAS going to be a loyal customer as I love John and was trying to follow him over from Gold Coast Auto but I think Ill have to pass. Not sure Id trust this company with both my vehicles. Miss you John.

I dont feel front end was very nice. Didnt really get a description of the work performed. Just a $1600 bill. The invoice was not very descriptive on labor. But my vehicle was indeed fixed.

Great experience buying a car from them. I went with my toddler to look at two vehicles they had. It was a chilly day so they brought them into their shop. They said they didnt want my son and I to be outside in the cold looking at cars. I ended up liking one of the vehicles so my husband went the next day to look at it as well. He drove it and decided we should get it. They told us they hadnt inspected it yet so they would call us Monday. On Monday, they said they wanted to do the brakes and fix a leak. Seriously, Ive never purchased a car with this much amazing customer service. With the car being 11 years old, our bank wanted to do a higher interest personal loan instead of a car loan. Ben found a bank to to do a car loan with a decent rate. Extremely happy customer. We will definitely work with them again.

Ben was super friendly and worked with me every step of the way. I let him know that this was my first dealer purchase, and he was very accommodating. And they had office cats!However- I completely and fully understand that I bought a used vehicle. But this truck mechanically had some issues. Oil sending unit was bad, MAF was bad, may have an issue with oil pump... Ill have to take it in (again, again) to find out more... I took it for a test drive (pre-purchase) and none of these issues occurred. Either they did a good cover up maintanence, or I was a poor test driver, once I got over 150 miles away after purchase I started seeing issues (check engine light).I understand the business, I really do. They buy these vehicles at auction and fix them up cosmetically, which they do very well. But, I think their mechanical department gives them a quick look over and lets it into the wild... Literally, the same day drove it off the lot I a had a check engine light I had to diagnose myself.My experience was luke-warm. The staff was super friendly and great. But, the truck(100,000+ miles) I purchased was not up to my expectations. Again, I understand that I bought a used vehicle, but I didnt expect to dump $1500+ to drive it semi-reliably.Thanks

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Worked directly with the owner who gave a me a great deal on a trade in. No pressure sales, Car still had a warranty and Nissan is known to have some sensor issues at times which is what ended up happening with my gas cap and seat belt sensor, He handled working to get it fixed and gave me a loaner for the day. They went above and beyond my expectations and I would highly recommend going here for car buying, car detailing, car repair or even just window tinting which he also through in my car.

Nice guys to work with. Though I feel being charged $50 to look on the web and tell me why my windows dont work, $50 to tell me my fog lights were burned out and $50 to tell me my car doesnt have tire pressure sensors is a little ridiculous. In the end, $150 to do 20 minutes worth of investigation is a little much. But I did get a good price on a tire, mount and balanced

Payed over market for a very clean looking CRV with promises that it was in excellent shape and would need nothing for a long time. First check engine light came on within a week of owning it. Within 5 months of buying Ive had to replace the cv shafts, (which they replaced with defective parts), the catalytic converter and part of the exhaust, the alternator, and now the transmission is going out.

Ive purchased 3 used cars from Gateway. All good cars. The only one not running was in an accident and ran great at that time. Owners are great. Very friendly and helpful.

They do quality work. I feel confident in the maintenance I received.

I have been going to Gateway for the repair/maintenance side of things for over a year. They have always been friendly, straight up, and easy to work with. Im a little confused by some of the reviews saying to check the price before you do anything to avoid a surprise. Are you just asking for services and assuming they are free? I dont know anyone who does that. Theyve bent over backwards for me, so I dont feel like its fair to drop a one star and slander a business for a personal problem. (sips tea)

My mechanic scraped about a 3x3 spot of paint off the hood of my 1995 riviera. They suggested Gateway.Gateway was able to perfectly match paint on a car that was 13 years old, it looked great.They were also prompt with communications!
