Even if you overestimated your crafting abilities like I did. But once you get better, come take a stroll through the aisles. Im more than confident youll find what you needed, plus stuff you didnt need!The good news however, the paint came off and I washed off the stencil just fine. Ill try again once I practice on something else first!

This place is extraordinarily organized, one of the best Ive seen from any Michaels craft warehouse. Often times the lighting in these stores can be headache-inducing but here it was perfectly lit. The place also had a certain charm that other stores from this chain do not. Loved my experience here.

Everything is suuuper expensive but you can usually find what you need. Best place for fine arts on this side of oly, but I’d recommend checking Olyphant downtown first. Always remember to check the Michaels website while you’re in line to see if they’re doing the basic 20% coupon. Sales days here are great, there was a couple months in 2020 where Strathmore books were BOGO free

Excellent crafts selection. Great location. There holiday selections are always some of the most extensive around. Good arts supplies selection as well. Very inexpensive.

The manager Melizza was a rockstar and accommodated all my needs on a craft idea as well as a tricky return. She was SO kind in the way she handled her interactions with me and others. Customer service like that makes all the difference.

Friendly staff who are knowledgeable on the products being carried, and enthusiastic about helping. The store has less product to offer than some places, but the experience overall is much better.

Its all right store needs to be clean better and need to be more courteous other than that pretty good

Not sure whats going on on this store, but the aisles were unkempt, items scattered, and just dirty in some places with items on the floor. Sad to see.

Go mainly for paint and wood, while they have a very good collection of painting supplies, their wood supplies are slightly lacking.

As long as ya find an employee who knows a thing or 2 and isnt in a grumpy mood your good :P

I went in to find specific items, but they didnt have some of them, such as 1/8 and 1/4 grosgrain ribbon (one of the items on my list). But they did have some things I wasnt looking for, like a spool of low-pile fake fur in the ribbons area in a dusty blush color, which is a perfect scale for the small dolls I sew for. They had plenty of craft foam, and multi-packs of it in both large and small sizes. I didnt need that much of it, and I have no idea what Id do with all of it, so smaller-sized packages with half the amount would have been useful to me. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed not being able to find some things. The store has definitely changed, with much more floor space dedicated to home decor. I get it, so Im not complaining. Just kind of sad that the variety of choices in smaller crafts seems to be diminished.

Got the crafts I needed so that I can make a homemade Gatling gun that shoots peices of my crispy ferret named Kyle. We recently found out that Applebees Grill + Bar showed no remorse when it came to the grill. RIP Kyle the pet ferret, he shall forever stay crispy. Great staff great prices

Love Michaels! Theyve recently reorganized so that the yarn is directly at the back of the store between the silk flowers and the framing section to make room for more awesome hobby supplies! Prices are reasonable and their seasonal home decor is always chic.

Again I was searching for frames for odd size pucture collage. There was an actual selection but the prices were kinda high. I rarely shop here anymore. The store was pretty empty. As usual there was only one cashier.

Hadnt been to this store in years, but needed a couple things. Was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the store seemed, for being an older store. Tons of selection and better prices than I remembered. Hand sanitizer station as you walk in, good covid protocols at checkout, overall great experience.

Used to have tons of scrapbooking papers, disappointing to see it dwindle.

Always been able to meet my craft or framing needs. Today it was colored sand.😊

Take the wife here often as shes really into crafting. Great store for that but this one isnt always neat. I feel the organization is subpar to others Ive been in.I prefer hobby lobby as its friendlier staff and better organization.

Michaels is a great craft store. They always have really good sales and coupons if you sign up on the website. Only thing they dont have is fabric. Which is a downer but they got everything else. Great staff. Always pleasant. They move through the checkout line quickly.

Clean, organized, love coming here even though I spend too much money. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program and download their app for coupons.

Michaels has a lot of stuff. If you know what they usually carry then its probably great, but if you go with a set idea you might have trouble finding what you thought you were going to get.

Definitely have less stock than what the other michaels have. The floor workers were great, the cashiers were rude and need retraining in customer service.

This review is more about the online ordering and customer service as I did curbside pickup; but their item stock/availability is definitely off. I ordered four items, but ended up getting a refund for two of them, which was disappointing as I needed all four items to complete my project. Other than that, they brought out my order promptly, which is nice for those of us that are avoiding going into stores as much as possible right now..

I have always liked michaels however this year they price gouge you. Everyone else is selling the same products for have the price and still offer a coupon for 40 percent off. Not Michaels. Example photo box everywhere 24.00 and you get half off. Michaels same product same brand they jacked it up to 49.99 and say 50 off. Boo Michaels boo

They had there shelves stocked again after their big Christmas clearance sale from the first of January. I was really surprised to have to go and look for someone to help me with an item in the locked case, usually there are customer service reps everywhere. I guess everybody took lunch at the same time today.

Picked up some new pencils and found a set that can be used as watercolors. Having lots.of fun with them.

Everytime I go in there for yarn, im always disappointed. Theyre always out of stock in the exact thing I want. And yes, I always check the app first.

They have a great selecting and I always fibs what Im looking for but the check out can take for ever. To few checkers and dont bring large bills! If Ive paid with anything over a 20, they have to call a manager for bill verification.

Michaels was easy to find with GPS, very clean and organized, and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Yet, the store lacked a good selection of models (airplane, cars, trucks, and etc) and model supplies. I was happy to find what I did, but found the prices just a bit high... All name brand so the escalated prices shouldnt have surprised me. Great store for a tremendous variety of crafts, just not models.

Watch your receipts! I bought 4 things of yarn from the same giant bin, boldly, very vividly priced at $6++, but they charged me $9.99 for half if them until I went back in and had to insist that they make it right. They wouldnt put the diff er ence back on my debit card either, but gave it back in cash... ☆and made it embarrassing for me.☆

Love this Michaels store. Staff members are always friendly and helpful. Large and clean clean clean store. Tons of variety to choose from. Only reason for the 4 stars is too often they are out of stock of what I am looking for when I am looking for a specific item. That is an issue especially if you want to order online and pick up at the store. The website will tell you that there is limited stock and you have to go in store to pick up and they may or may not have it. Ive run into this issue before covid hit so it isnt a cause and effect of the pandemic.

Usually, I can find the good in everything and enjoy sharing positive reviews. However, this experience was negative enough to mention... I went to Michaels specifically to find stencils for my wall. There was a 70% off sale on many of the paints, stencils, and supplies. The paint was clearly marked with a bright green tag and the reduced price. The stencils did not have a green sticker and impossible to know if it was on sale other than a clearance tag on the holder. I spent at least an hour trying to choose the best stencil on clearance. I chose 6 stencils along with 8 paints on clearance and proceeded to the checkout. There was only one person checking out with 3 people behind me. I asked the associate to please make sure these were all on clearance. One at a time the answer was No! I asked her if there was any coupon she could share and she said No! I was going to buy one with a coupon. I had already told her I was a member and she said youll have to go online and get the coupon your self...another time! In my opinion, everything on clearance should be clearly marked and good customer service would have been a positive. This store has really gone down in the past 6-8 months. I went on Amazon and purchased 5 stencils, received them the next day, and they were less expensive than Michaels.
