Great staff, friendly but not overbearingly so. Store is well run and organized, amazing selection at a reasonable price and they prioritize COVID safety measures. My most recent trip to Value Village was last week, the cashier; Nichole, was super kind and had an awesome witch hat for festivities. Keep up the good work guys!
Prices are great and I love the gently used inventory they have so nicely organized throughout the store! I went Hog-Wild so much I almost had to request assistance getting all the wonderful merchandise I paid for out the door minutes before they closed! Everything I found was so cheap and well worth the quality and lots of selections in every area of the store. I recommend you stop there if it doesnt have to be totally new merchandise!!!
Great place to find a lot of things but I prefer to search for home decor here. Ive found a lot of different picture frames, dishes, wall decor & even fun pillows at a very discounted price. Love this place. Only negative is the state of the parking lot and lack of security you feel when leaving your vehicle outside.
Love thrift shopping, do not like Value Villages return policy...especially when the dressing rooms are closed. Rather than giving 15 days, it should be 30. Rather than having to find something else the same price and do an exchange, they shod issue store credit which could be used whenever.....And the store could be a tad bit cleaner. All that said, this is a fun store to shop with lots of variety and descent prices. Love finding small treSures!
Love saving money value village used to have pretty reasonable prices. Lately seems like they over price name brand items. Also the fitting rooms should open back up
Consistent good finds. Employees work hard to keep the store clean and organized in spite of the several less-than-polite patrons who sometimes leave items in piles, moved to different racks, etc. Some items seem overpriced based on the day/season but overall I’m happy with the selection and the sale days. Cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. Excellent selection of clothing and home goods, hit and miss with furniture.
Took niece shopping here. Found a great pair of Bikes for under $10. Colors were purple, blue and pink design.
This place have some great deals. If you have a limited budget you can save a lot money. You also get 20% off if you donate certain items.I had saved hundreds of dollars.
They have some nice things for fairly low prices but I still believe they charge too much for items that are donated for free to a ☆supposedly☆ non-profit organization. Our 7th Day Adventist Church donates items for free, processes them for free and gives them away for free in our own establishment which is supported by our church. We do have a service center as well in which items are donated for free and purchase prices are certainly a whole lot more affordable for those people who are the intended recipients but the costs of keeping that building open and operational isnt free either... but legitimately IS non-profit.I have difficulty accepting and believing that Value Village is non-profit because of the prices that they charge for the items that they obviously ☆SELL☆ having multiple tills with a constant flow of large sums of money coming into those tills within very short timespans.
Actually I havent been to the store in quite a while but as soon as I walked in I felt like I was home again the door greeter was amazing like always and everybody in the store was very understanding and caring and going out of their way to help not only the customers but the other employees too!!! I love shopping at Value Village and I think if you havent been there you should go BUT DO ONE THING AND REMEMBER TO BRING MONEY CAUSE I GUARANTEE YOU THAT YOU WONT BE ABLE TO LEAVE WITHOUT SPEND SOME MONEY. I never can!!!!!
Great place to find clothes but they dont offer dressing rooms they just have a sign that says return them for store credit if they dont fit..
They are way over priced unless youre getting a discount. Nice things just way to expensive
Bought an adorable table and chair set at a great price. Clothes are way over priced. Workers are not too friendly, but the furniture is usually cheap.
You can always find interesting things here, but the people in charge of the arbitrary prices are definitely taking advantage of weed being legal here. How do you have a cheap, 10 inch, fake wood shelf for $20, but then sell a whole solid wood, great condition desk for... $20? You can find $100 pants for $7, and a $10 picture frame for $15... Its weird, okay.
Havent been in years. Found what we needed and headed out. Line was very long. But it was fine.
Everyone was friendly. Store was kept nice and organized, with enough room to move around.
The clothing here is WAY over-priced. I get that these are mostly name-brand items, but they are second hand goods and completely not worth what they ask. The shoes are also name-brand, but they were in really worn condition and were also over-priced. The knick-knacks were also terribly priced. Im talking used Starbucks cups for like 7.99... Yikes! They had some jewelry behind the counter that was obviously home-made by some rando who donated it and were asking like $10 for it. Same thing with some of the clothes. They were clearly homemade, and while Im sure the seamstress/tailor at home would be flattered this place thought their clothes were worth 16.99, the average thrift shopper is turned off by this. Would not reccommended nor would I return.
Clean. Mask required. Good stuff. Pricing can be crazy high sometimes but not others
One of my favorite stores of all time. Awesome service and so much to look at! I could spend hours here.
Clean store. Found exactly what I needed (power cord) and a few other items. The staff was nice. Some cheap items were heavily overpriced while some expenses item were cheaper than I would have expected. No real consistency in the prices. But they did keep the place tidy. They did shut down some isles for restocking and tidying up. I dont know if thats a covid thing but I did like that concept. They werent shut down for to long. Just long enough to get the job done.
Great selection, but they do use a heavily scented laundry soap, so be aware.
Great store. Spend lots of time here. But please reconsider your return policy. It doesn’t make sense to accept donations but not accept returns on anything besides clothing and shoes. Follow the same protocols as donations if you’re afraid of sanitation and COVID. Instead of letting me exchange a few items that I bought less than 24 hours earlier with a receipt and tags still attached, the manager said the best he could do was give me a 20% off coupon if I donated the items again. That makes no sense at all. Value Village competitors accept all merchandise and being a for profit company that’s makes good money off of the good intentions of other people’s charity, I would expect Value Village to do the same, especially considering I personally frequent this location at least once a week, either to donate or purchase goods.
Way over priced we call it va-lou- va-lazh-ayy it makes it sound better when u tell people you shop at VALOO-VILLA-ZAYY... GO AHEAD TRY SAYING IT
Got some nice blankets for a great price along with other items. Going back soon.
They have a new policy at value village and thats checking in your backpack. The contents of my backpack are my cellphone, cards, cash, keys, meds and ect. I dont like giving up my pack especially to questionable security protocol. As far as the need for such a thing, you have to be kidding me . Junk nice junk but junk . Is it really necessary to go to the extremes that value village goes to? And I gather you dont want to shoplift there .It seems every time I go there I see a cop thats been called . Junk thats a good reason to wreck someones life who wouldnt have taken it of not in dire need . Any way . By. The way value village is global and its not non profit . If you donate a nice peice of furniture you can plan on 2 cents going to charity, its reported !
Hi there 🙂.. Have dinner w/ my sister; in celebrating our Heavenly sister Home going Cake~day 🍰!!...Afterwards, we went to VV, and walked off our meal, window shop, and went Home!.Cheers !😉👍🏾
Friendly employees and great selection. Has everything and pretty decent prices. I can spend all day in this store and not see everything. Its hard not to fill your shopping cart. Im always ready to go back...Again and again.
A joke.and i can buy new jeans for $11. Why would I pay $14 for someone elses?
I love this store, so many treasures! And way cheaper than goodwill!
When you can find a deal thats great otherwise go to Ross and pay the same for brand new.
VV is such a fun place to shop. All staff is friendly and helpful. I find super buys and Tuesdays is 20% off entire package. Parking lot is always full.
Great thrift store. Clean and well organized inside.
When we first walked in we were greeted by the employees yelling at my dying friend to put a mask on. And then they proceeded to say they were closing soon. I understand frustration of closing with a lot of people in the store but there is no reason to yell at your customers as soon as they walk through the door. This being on may 11th
Donations are more reasonable than GW, plus you get 20% off coupon. Very fair org!
The village is full of rubbish and poor folks. Seen no value unless your looking for a Halloween costume.
A manager went out of her way to make sure an item I wanted was not bought by me.. I had been in the previous day, and the tag on the jacket said 12.99 I took it up and the tag fell off as the lady took off the hanger. She tells me it will be repriced in the morning. So I waited until then, came back and the rude manager says sorry no it could take a few days now.. very very rude lady. She acted as if she were the c.e. o. Or something
I havent been to a Value Village for quite a while and a lot has changed, especially price wise. Value Village has always played second fiddle to Big Brother( #1 Goodwill) but my visit this time proved that they were catching up, at least in prices of merchandise. Their prices have really gone up, but so has the quality of the merchandise that they are selling. Its comforting to know that number 2 still puts the pressure on #1. Its what makes America Great.Thank you Value Village !Jim Mattingly,Google Guide 7
The prices are outrageous! They must think theyre a high-end antique or department store. For example, a decanter from TJ Maxx was marked double what TJ Maxx charged. Go anywhere but here. That includes actual antique stores.
Always a good day at VV. Olympia has a good one and its worth the 20 or so miles once in a while for a peek. Happy thridting!
Very well priced. Name brand clothe in good condition. The manager and team service was very friendly.
Everything you would expect from a thrift store. Decent selection, good prices, clean, friendly staff. Is it the best Ive ever seen? No but still a good store that isnt horribly overpriced (goodwill) with rude staff.
Didnt have much money but was killing time. Some really good stuff as always. Even had a Xbox one x I bought. Works great!
I like how they keep all tags out. I hate having to look for them. They have a great selection on mens clothing and good toys
If you have Possession Obsession Disorder, you can go there and pretend that you own all the stuff there.
Great finds & friendly employees!
Great prices on used clothing, electronics, household goods. Vacuum, sporting equipment.
At opening today on October 23 2020, I walked in the door and am greeted friendly by the lady holding the door open and counting people. My son and I walk inside and the older lady cleaning the carts this morning rudely and aggressively asked me how old my son is. And I asked excuse me? She responded with is he two or three? I replied three. Which she then tells me he must wear a mask or we can’t shop here. I told her he won’t wear one and she told me then we have to shop someplace else. I then told her that it’s mandated everywhere else that over the age of five is required to wear a mask, and even so if he’s got a medical condition, which you’re not allowed to ask if he does or doesn’t, he wouldn’t be wearing a mask either. So I turned around to walk out and as I’m walking out she starts yelling at me that its management rules. This is poor behavior and customer service. If this is your stores regulation fine but post it somewhere and handle it better, I have a friend who went in with her kids and had the same exact experience with the same older women. I was looking for a comfortable shopping experience and all I got was a very rude and demanding associate upon entering the store. I was so embarrassed and angry walking out of Value Village. I’m very very disappointed as I’ve shopped here for years but definitely won’t be anymore. If I were you I’d opt to shop elsewhere too.
Clean, easily accessible location. I believe some prices have gone up but very understandable. Good selection.
Value Village is a great second hand store but there prices have gotten higher than Goodwill.
This is a nice place to shop if you dont have a lot of money you should stop here cuz you can find a lot of things you need you and your family thank you
ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING USABLE AND FAIR PRICES STAFF ARE GOOD PEOPLEPOLITE AND HELPFUL
Very misleading when they say “x color tag is on discount” but then use two different colors on the tags. Also irritating that you cannot take carts to your car. How is one expected to carry a full cart of items in their arms. Great prices, but time better spent at Goodwill
Clothing is arranged in an organized fashion so its easy to find your size.
I almost always find something that I need /want here for great proces
One mans trash is another treasure from lots of good scores
Terrible return policies...they do not value their customers and it shows. I prefer eBay
No bathrooms available and they stop children without masks at the door to verify ages.Otherwise everything is pretty typical.
Friendly, good selection. Reasonable prices. 🙂
Clean, good quality of clothes for decent prices. Not fond of the service though.
Come on Guys. Your getting this stuff donated to you for Free. Stop charging what we can you it for at a store, that sells it New, with a Warranty, and has more of that item, or another one (if the one we bought is defective). Your a Glorified Garage Sale for crying out loud...
Its a good place to go and cheap price
Got a good used exercise bike.
Best thrift store around they got a little bit of everything and good prices and oh yeah my daughter is the manager there!!!👍👍👍
They have lousy prices on a tremendous collection of 80s clothing.im gonna tell it like it is..stay tuned for more of tell it girl and save time and money.
Great organization but prices are higher then Wal-Mart!
Excellent customer service, good selection; just bit of trouble finding what I needed.
Employees had their safety masks and visors on. Good to see some folks happy getting back to work and taking virus seriously. A relief, actually.
Extremely expensive some things priced more then the actual stores.
Very friendly, lots of cheap second hand slightly used items
To donate, follow driveway between aarons and sidewalk to back of building. It is unmarked.
So glad they are open again! The carts were sanitized and social distancing was used. Good selection of plus sized clothes. Employees were helpful and store was clean / maintained.
It was fairly busy, the sale was good (found almost everything we went for!), and people were very distance-aware. It was almost comfortable enough to feel like a pre-covid shopping trip...
Good prices, strange staff.
Good place to find hidden treasure.
Prices are very inconsistent and usually over priced most of the employees are super rude and have no idea what the role of a customer service position is the inventory is pretty much the only thing they have going for them
I visit here often...addicted to vintage jewelry & can usually find something to make me spend $$. Staff is always very friendly & helpful. Once in awhile run into another shopper who is a jerk but thats not Value Villages fault. I enjoy visiting!
Lots of STUFF, alot of it is junk. But, thats not always bad!
So we were shopping at the last min and left our keys at the register there was 1 min till seven and we ran back in and were stopped at the door. We were not allowed to go in and get our keys and the manager wouldnt look for them either. Very disappointed at this moment we are now stuck sitting outside our kids at home waiting for dinner and we have no way to get home. This is incredibly wrong and it wouldnt have took but 2 min topps for us to get our keys and wed be on our way. Prices were steep and service sucked and to top it off were now stuck outside till they open. Our kids at home and hopefully the babysitter
Of all local donation locations. VALUE village is the most organized. Clothing is separated by size, not by color. Easier to pick out clothes when sizes are marked. Looking by color is too time consuming.
Fantastic prices & happy, friendly employees! Only downside, like so many places these days, is there is no public restroom - not in store or any stores in this strip mall.
Value Village is like a super sized Goodwill store without the broken stuff. I was really surprised at how huge it is and how many wonderful finds we found in the kitchen dishes section. I was somewhat disappointed in the book section so I took off a star. The books arent organized in any way, shape, or form. Usually non-fiction is organized by category and fiction is organized by authors last name. Not here. Every book is just thrown on the shelf. The furniture section was extremely small. The clothing section was huge. But what I loved most was that one of our purchases was a set of soup mugs that was stacked and obviously missing one. When we checked out the sales checker asked if we looked for the missing one. You never get that kind of service in Goodwill, so weve switched to going here. They take donations too.
Giselle (sp?) was so helpful and I can’t thank her enough! Such great customer service and I just felt like she cared! 👍👍👍
Good prices and very neatly organized.
Everyone was nice. Wore there mask. Sanatized carts and no waiting on checking out.
They recently banned carrying backpacks into their store. Id ask that they at least have a bag hold by the register if theyre going to do that, because it alienates customers who rely on public transit.Edit: They added a bag hold, awesome. Its a bit of a botch job though, kinda tedious how you lock up and receive your bag, hope they improve that system in the future. Also they have a noticeable double standard, they allow woman to carry in massive purses, but dont allow me to carry in the tiny cycling backpack. On one occasion I was visiting this place with my sister, said nothing about my sisters massive messenger bag, but insisted I remove my small backpack, so we left, I stuffed my pack into my sisters messenger bag, then we went back in, pretty funny honestly.
Clean store with friendly staff. Lots of good stuff too!!!
The best of the thrift stores.
I ALWAYS FIND GOOD QUALITY ITEMS HERE FROM CLOTHING TO COOKING,SPORT EQUIPMET GREAT STAFF
I found the perfect saucers for small flower pots. Happy.
Its redicules that the carts can go outside.its so inconvenient you have to park the cart inside and clog the exit while you go get your car. I watched multiple disabled people struggling while i was in line.
Clean and quality merchandise clearly marked prices are pretty right. I have to admit that since the pandemic has been on the volume on their shelves seems to be less. Hopefully that will change when we get back to normal.
Nice selection but their prices are absolutely outrageous. $100 for a wool blanket that was donated for free? $50 for a small outdated coach wristlet from the 90s? You can find some decently priced things if you dig but I just can’t support this store and their ridiculous pricing any longer.
Found some fun T shirts
Today I was denied entrance to this Value Village because my two year old will not wear a mask. Let me repeat that. My TWO year old can not wear a mask and this value village has enforced a policy saying children 2 and above must wear masks. Washington state mandates masks for children above the age of 5 NOT TWO!Further, The World Health Organization has said that masks are not safe for children under 5 years old. This Value Village is putting children’s health at risk asking people to put masks on babies faces.I will not spend my money at this Value Village, and I will let everyone I can know about this horrible policy.
Love all the great stuff for sale as well as great prices!
Love this place
Had some couches I wanted to donate. In decent shape. I called up an hour or so in advance to ask if they were accepting furniture. I was told yes enthusiastically by the lady who answered.Ok, so I call up some friends to help load the couch and loveseat, drive over to Value Village. The employees there told me they werent taking any furniture because they didnt have the room. When I pointed out that they have the entire store floor to put it in they changed their excuse to well, its dark, we have to inspect it to make sure its good quality. I ask for a manager, explain what the ditz who answered the phone told me vs what these neckbeards were saying, evidently zero coordination in that place. Karen-type manager said they couldnt take them tonight, but I could come back tomorrow.I left. Yeah, lady, Ill come back tomorrow as if I have nothing better to do with my scarce time. Here I am trying to give you guys free merchandise for you to sell at profit and your weed-smelling low life (probable parolees) staff argue reasons why they cant accept my generosity. To hell with value village. I took the couches to the dump instead.
