Daniel at Mavis in Lackawanna is amazing. His communication was great from the time I dropped my car off until it was ready for pick up! He was kind, and very thorough with the work done on my car and broke down the cost well so I knew what cost what. This was my first time there and I’m definitely a customer for life!

Went in for a tire purchase and NYS inspection. Service was fast and able to fit me in the same day. Staff was friendly. I was surprised that a tire place did not have any tire options for a Toyota Yaris, so I had to pay $95 a tire. Plus charges for alignment and balance and extended warranty, it turned out to be much more expensive than I expected from a discount tire place.

As a regular at breaking my car, I always feel as though I’m getting the best service at the Lackawanna location. I prefer not to go to any other shop for work on my car. They always try to get me the best deal possible and don’t keep me waiting too long in the lobby. Highly recommend this place.

Very accommodating. Had a 12pm appt for alignment but I showed up at 11am after my schedule opened up. They were able to get me in an hour early and were super cool all around. Truck driving great.

Got my snow tires off and my summers put back on. In the process they found that one of my tires had a nail in it (I knew there was an issue because it was flat when I put it in the car), and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Staff was super nice and professional. Very reasonable prices. Will use them for all of my automotive needs in the future.

Didnt realize the tires I had on were used, sold to me as new. Both tires suffered damage from nails but Daniel kept me informed and price matched my tires and got it done quick. Went for inspection. My vehicle is 21 years old and Unfortunately the two rear tires wouldn’t pass inspection. Vincent showed the actual samples of the NY state guidelines as compared to my tires. I had to get my inspection complete and Vincent was able to price match the exact tires I bought earlier in the year for the front tires. I was glad that my car just needed 2 rear tires.Thank u for your care and professionalism.

Best experience at this place! I called and was able to get a same day appointment for a last minute inspection and oil change. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to all customers. I was in&out in a reasonable time for how busy they were. Everyone was working hard, not just standing around. They made me aware of work I would need in the near future. Very honest and no bs. I am more than happy to give Vinny, Raymond and the rest of the crew a huge shout out with how they were able to help me get a quality replacement tire for my Ford. The process was easy and Vinny walked me through everything (if Ill need a tire rotation, if Ill need more than one tire, if Ill need an alignment). It didnt take long to drive my car home, confident in the job that was done. This isnt my first time to that location and Im sure Ill need their help in the future.

Everyone was nice and friendly got a great deal on my breaks which was nice considering others told me 800 just for the back breaks ...i was able to make my appt for very next morning and my car was done so quickly I barely had time to make it back home ... The shop was clean hand sanitizer and a TV w chairs for your convenience if you decide to wait ! Big open windows so you can watch your vehicle being worked on great over all experience from start to finish ! Thanks guys🏆

After running something over a few days before Christmas I was able to limp to this location in Lackawanna. Staff was courteous and they were able to quickly remedy the issue (incredibly) in time for me to make an appointment. Getting a flat tire sucks but the crew at this location made it nearly painless. I probably should have read these guys publicly sooner because they have helped me out a lot over the years but they are the consummate professionals rable to fix my car for a lot less than I thought it was going to take and did it quicker than I thought they were going to be sense when I arrived originally they were very busy. All the employees were wearing masks stayed socially distant from the customers kept customers socially distant and everything was clean and readily sanitized. Could not have asked for a better experience. See you guys soon, but hopefully not too soon.

The prices were fair, place was clean the workers explained exactly what they were going to do. The work was done in a timely fashion.

I set up my appointment online, and when I arrived it was busy at 9.00AM which is a good thing because that tells me they do good work. I was informed that it would take around 2 hours or so to mount my tires and get an alignment, which I was fine with. Later on in the day they called, and I went to pick up my vehicle. Daniel was very professional, and I appreciated the service and the explanation of all the available options with the tires. The price was far cheaper than at the dealer, so I saved a few hundred dollars with coming here. I will definitely bring all of my vehicles here from now on, and will recommend everyone to check Mavis first.

They are not fair to women. In my case they tried to charge me much much much more than other places I got the estimate from. They used the opportunity that Im a woman and supposedly dont know much. I thought it was a lot of money for the work needed when they first told me how much its going to be but then I checked other places and it was much cheaper for the same work. Never going back there.

Danny and vinny as well as the entire staff at this location were super nice helpful and efficient. Told me exactly what I needed to do for my car inspection and I passed after getting my windshield replaced!

Did incorrect work. Brought to another place. They wouldnt do correction, but documented everything wrong with the job done. Brought back for correction. They first blamed work on a problem worker. The next day picked up and came home. Didnt read work order until got home. They misrepresented the issue, claiming they corrected another shops work per customer request. No other shop had done any work. They were the only ones to touch the exhaust system. Dishonest. Not to be trusted.

I recently posted a review of the store and their manager Vince that was not very nice. At this time like to retract that review because it has weighed heavily on my heart and I apologize if it caused any difficulty in your career. Very often corporate decision makers set policies that are neither customer friendly but much worse they are not employee friendly. Making the person in front of you the villain as opposed to those in charge of those decisions. So again I would like to apologize what happened that day was beyond their control I made the choice to escalate things and for this I apologize again

I have been going to the Ridge Rd location for about 7 years at this point and I have had nothing but superior service. The staff, especially management, is really friendly and take the time to explain the problem and concerns that may become a problem in time. They are nothing but respectful and fair with pricing.2020 came with me being terribly unlucky with flat tires... 7 of them to be exact and they took care of me every single time with no issue (make sure you get insurance on your tires!)I just had four brand new tires put on today and forgot to call ahead for an appointment. I was greeted with a smile and the confidence the job would be done for me which it was no problem. I was also reminded to come back for a retorque in about 25 miles which is awesome because I always forget and it shows they care about the safety of myself and my son.I wouldnt think about taking my car anywhere else and I highly recommend the Ridge Rd location.
