Our upstairs AC went out on the weekend and we were having our granddaughters over Sunday night. We had called two other AC repair services first and one never picked up the phone and the other never returned our call. When we called Aire Serv they got back to us after church and had a technician out here just after 3:00. BJ was very professional thorough with his diagnostic technique. He told us what needed to be done, both right then and on down the road. I was more than impressed! They will now be or HVAC people for further needs. I highly recommend Aire Serv!!!

Wow, what a great experience all the way from Hadley to schedule repair to Brad for consultation on a new heat pump to Seth and his installation team. They were on-time, professional and did exactly what they said they would. And quite clean - they put down floor protection and at the end of the installation you could not even tell they were here other than the quite off a new unit. Thanks to all.

They came out on a weekend within about an hour and fixed my old HVAC unit with a capacitor and kept it running for a little longer. No extra charge for it being the weekend which I was really surprised at and pleased with.

My AC locked up with ice and I called Aire Serv and they sent someone out and found that the coils has some small brakes and leaked the coolant which caused the ice lock up. They were able to find the parts I need and Im waiting for them to fix my AC. I will only call Aire Serv to fix my AC and heating unit.

Ive been using these guys since we moved to Mt Pleasant. The first time we were in a bind with our AC going out late on a Friday and the owner himself came out that night and fixed everything without charging us an emergency fee. Since then theyve done repairs and a complete install of our 2 units. This week they came out for regular maintenance, and the tech that came, Jonathan, was great. He made some adjustments to help with humidity and made some suggestions on upgrades that I might be interested in without being pushy about it. Thanks guys.

Quality Product with Professional Installation. Very pleased with this company. I needed a mini-split system for my enclosed porch. Russell did a great job as a salesman representing Aire Serv. Also, Jermaine and Steve were courteous and professional installers. They paid attention to the details and carefully installed my new mini-split unit. The final product looks great.

I had a leak in my duct work and I called late in the afternoon. They were able to send a a service tech early the next day. David was very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem and was able to get the salesman to come out within an hour to give me a price of all the repairs needed. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. They also installed my system four years ago and it was also a great experience and the unit has been working flawlessly ever since.

They did a very good job and he allowed me to clean vents that were very dusty or dirty. House has been taken care of. So dusty here so I am seeing a difference with that already

Today Jonathan Franzen was my Service Professional and he performed a thorough review including informing me of some of the latest technology to help me keep my air clean with the system I already have. Aire serve installed a 4 ton Lennox gas pack and failed to verify the correct gas valve was installed, the system was set up for natural gas when it should have been set up for propane. So when the temperature got down into the 20’s the unit only blew black smoke and we had to wait a week until the new valve was installed. Also the contract was to give a 500 dollar rebate from SCE&G and a Lennox 500 dollar rebate. We only received 300 from SCE&G. Complained about this for a year and they have done absolutely nothing to rectify. They basically took my money and ran. Never do business with these folks you will be disappointed.

Not only did he do the maitnenace in a quick and efficient manner, but he took the time to explain to me what, and a little bit of how he was doing the work. What a total waste of time. I called to get an idea of the cost and they tell me one thing over the phone but when the techs arrive they tell me sorry the price recently went up. And not just by a little, but its well over twice what it was. Really wish I would have gotten a heads up so as not to waste mine or the techs time. I could have just scheduled with another company. The techs were sweet though. Went from $35 per vent to $83 per vent... wth

After buying my home last year, and paying a high electric bill for 10 months, it was time to upgrade my A/C system to a system that was high efficiency. I searched online and through my friends and got 6 quotes to replace my system. Chris Trostle, the service technician, was very good. Our problem initially revealed itself as a thermostat with a blank display. So, our downstairs system was not functioning. Chris first found a blown fuse in the air handler and replaced it. We now had a display on the thermostat, but the unit was still not functioning. The next suspected problem was a relay, but he didnt have one on his truck. He returned the next day and replaced it. The system started then shut off. Chris didnt give up and replaced some damaged wiring and finally the main contactor at the compressor with burned contacts and it was in a very poor condition. The system was once again fully functional and many issues that could cause future problems were fixed. All work was done for the original estimated cost. I truly appreciate Chriss attention to detail and his dedication to fixing the problems properly. Chris had our best interest in mind as he tracked down the root of this elusive problem. Many thanks to Chris.

HVAC was diagnosed as needing to be completely replaced. We were pressured to install a completely new system (between $8K to $24K). We procured a second opinion and it turned out that the unit was not connected correctly electrically. After the adjustment it is running flawlessly. Additionally, the sales rep we were provided was a former car financer with no experience in HVAC. Extremely corporate, non-personal company that attempts to oversell its spectacular customer focus.

This is an absolute amazing company with an amazing staff. My family and I has been without A/C for a few months and dealing with the heat this summer has not been easy. We shopped around for multiple companies to repair our unit and this company was the absolute best choice we could have made. They were very patient, friendly, interactive and understanding. We highly recommend this company and hope you will do business with them.

The technicians did a great job but I was promised a veterans discount of 5% that didnt show up on my bill that I received before the work was done. After several calls I was told they would reimburse me $100. If I knew the real discount was less then 1% I would have looked elsewhere. If you use them make sure to have all paperwork before you let them in the house.

As a home owner there are certain things you dread having to replace. One of them is when you are told your current AC needs to be completely replaced. Insert Aire Serv of Summerville! We had no idea what to expect but this was by far the least stressful experience. The techs Chris and Gary were so awesome! BJ was so helpful answering questions and was so amazing! Financing was easy and quick, the removal of our old system and installation of our new system was painless and Aire Serve was so efficient that they were not happy until everything was working and installed perfectly. I loved that they cared about doing exceptional work and making sure our new system was working perfectly. I can not recommend Aire Serve Summerville more highly.

WOW! Their service was exceptional!! They went above and beyond for me and completely repaired my heater!! They had to rewire basically everything and they didnt charge me extra for any of it! Highly recommend this company! We called at 8:30pm because we realized our unit wasnt cooling the house, and Russ came out ASAP. He took the time to diagnose, repair, answer questions, and make suggestions even at 11pm! The best part? Our house was cool again so we could sleep!

Scott came out and was extremely friendly and professional. Im not knowledgeable about AC units, but he explained a lot of it to me and gave me some tips and tricks to keep things going longer. My 2 year old wanted to watch everything he did, and he seemed cool with it. He pointed out the pieces the will probably need replacing soon, but wasnt pushy about it. I have an issue with them keeping appointments. I had an appointment window of 8am-12pm and someone showed up around 5:30pm. The next time, the appointment was scheduled for 4pm and no one ever showed up nor did I receive a call. So theres a disconnect somewhere. However, they do good work when someone shows up.

So I bought a house that had had to have the whole A/C and furnace replaced. I called Air Serv and they sent out two very respectful technicians the same day. They did a total and complete inside and out inspections with great documentation and answering all of my many questions. They gave me a few options but I decided to replace everything because the units were so old and never previously maintained. Jim the salesman came out and was also very professional and respectful and went over a few options with me and helped me decide the best options for me and my family. Both my outside and inside units were replaced the very next day by Steve and his very professional and respectful team. I will now always use Air Serv and highly recommend calling them if you have any questions regarding your cooling or heating because they will help you quickly!

I have used Aire Serv prior to the name change and was very satisfied with the excellent service and experience. No non-sense and excellent diagnostic skills.Unfortunately, this past service was very frustrating and not really sure if the initial diagnosis was completely correct, as I paid over $600 for a part an install, and then the same problem occurred, and when Aire Serv returned, it was another issue that cost another $600. I was told I would receive a discount because they were not really sure if one issue was related to the other, but would give me a credit due to the multiple visits, extra parts, and not diagnosing properly. I received a $30 credit - BD. Very disappointed...

We had a new system put in about a year and a half ago to replace a 4 year old inefficient unit. We had Kyle out last week to look at an alert that came up. He was able to find the source of the issue that started long before this system was installed 4 companies and countless service technicians hadnt been able to find. Highly recommended. My heat went out in the Charleston Freeze of Jan 2018. Called spoke with Russell explained my situation, he promised he would send someone out but would be after 8 pm, Jose called me on his way and I can say how please I am with Jose!!! He went out of his way to make sure that i had heat before he left! I will only use Aire Serv for all my future HVAC issues. Jose was polite, friendly, had booties on his feet. He treated my home with respect.

After working for a week they were finally able to fix my air handler. They also replaced a couple of parts that looked ready to break. Sterling and BJ have been troopers working on the equipment in my attic. The space is very tight and they are dealing with equipment that was installed poorly. There is still some work to do but we are on a path to fixing all the system qwirks.The biggest issue left is changing where the water goes if the drain backs up. Currently it over flows and comes through my ceiling. Sterling will be back Tuesday to fix this. I have been up there and look forward to seeing how they will redirect the overflow to go into the overflow pan. More to come...
