The Family Dollar in Ladson is a great place to get a lot of the basic items you need at a good value. I like getting items for events that I host here and they seem to have everything in one place for a good price. I like how the store is organized and you are able to find exactly what you are looking for very easily. The staff here is friendly and efficient with the checkout purchases when you are in a hurry. This is a good Family Dollar.

If I could give no stars and still right a review I would. This store is absolutely a joke. I went in today and bought 5 items. All I had was a $50 dollar bill. The MANAGER was opening her register at the time I apologised and said I would leave and go to food Lion right next door if she couldnt break it cause I understand that she just set up her register. She the proceeded to cash me out while in the prossess of this she throw things all around the counter and slammed her hands down at me with lots of huffs and puffs of anger. While rolling her eyes she told me it was fine when it CLEARLY showed it wasnt. Also like to inform that they require there customers and other associates to where mask but not the management staff. They are also very discriminatory against the younger generations because they feel we are incompetent. Please do not visit the family dollar on ladson road you will be very disappointed.

Great looking store and friendly service

Nice sales. However they could do better with having prices on all of their items so its not a price shock at the register with a line of people waiting. Could be better with signage for product placement but perhaps thats the marketing strategy so that you will go down almost every aisle buying things you didnt intially come ib there for. My advice: look at the sales paper and make a list if there is no price on the item leave it.

It was 7:52 and they locked the door and I asked a guy who was working can I get something and he said we closed. If the sign said close at 8 then he should have let us in.

This store is HORRIBLE!!! Walked in today and the entire store looked like a hurricane blew through. Clthes shoes all over the floor. The staff there needs some customer service classes. Ill never go back there again!!!

Basically, I work at Food Lion next to Family Dollar and they don’t know how to get their carts off the parking lot, like there were lots of Family Dollar carts in the handicapped parking spots! Like seriously!
