The best donuts in the world. This location is always busy but worth the wait. Staff works hard to provide great customer service, even making sure my fur baby got a pup cup treat. Only disappointment was I ordered online giving 3 hours notice and order wasnt ready when I arrived. However the employee did apologize for the delay so all is well ❤️‍🩹.

Every time I come to get donuts they only have a few of the assorted. All of the 4th of July donuts were sold out and they didn’t even mention the special ( by any dozen get a free glazed dozen). When I got to the window the lady only gave me one box of donuts.I had to ask her about the special and that’s when she went and got the free donuts for me. The Irene filled looked a little old but still tasted okay. Glazed looked fresh.

All I can tell you is that the Krispy Kreme donuts 🍩 in Ladson, SC that I go to, they are so good thats why I cant show you any because I ate them all. The young people that work there are very friendly. And take their job seriously. Thank you Krispy Kreme. Im waiting for the red light.

I ordered 2 creme filled donuts, one wasnt even filled with creme. The other only had about a Tablespoon of cream in it. Very dissatisfied

I can say that the donuts that we did get were good... But we didnt get the specialty donut we were supposed to and they did not give me the assorted that I asked for. Nothing like pulling up to the drive-thru and having the kid look at me like why am I here then start talking to everyone because obviously he couldnt figure out what my order even was. It was simple 5 boxes of donuts... 4 glazed and one assorted. They also had a buy one share one going on with a specialty donut for Halloween. All I ended up leaving with was five boxes of glazed donuts. If not for my retirement party being so close on time and my wife stressing I would have went back up there and got what I was supposed to. Customer service is terrible nowadays and this place is no different.

Fast quick easy efficient great customer service. They make the donuts right there on the spot so youre getting fresh donuts right off the line. You got a huge massive selection. Theyre open very late so whatever youre craving to do that this is your go-to. Dont want to be in the Drive-Thru just walk in there really fast when it comes to making your Donuts or getting what you did as soon as you get there. Definitely a 5 out of 5 easy blows the other donut places out of the competition

Decided to park and walk in since the line was long for the drive thru. Line was quick inside and the lady that grabbed our donuts was nice until,... we reached the register and the young lady was very rude. 1st she didnt ask if we wanted anything else so she rung just the donuts and we kindly told her we wanted to order drinks too. She then just replies drinks, we say yes. Then a pause and she says drinks again while throwing her hand up as if she trying to tell us to hurry up and tell her.Recommend that this location gathers their employees and retrain them for customer service. All she had to say was,would you like anything else.

Love their doughnuts. Especially when the hot now sign is on, there is nothing better than an original glazed straight out of the oven. Melts in your mouth.

Very good place to grab some awesome donuts. The staff is generally friendly, although I think a few of them could do better. The only thing that really bothers me about this place is trying to use the drive-thru. It is almost always backed up through the parking lot whenever I go. The line moves, but it is slow.

I arrived a few minutes before opening. I sat in line with two other vehicles ahead of me only to find out the debit card machine was down and that they only were serving four/five different donut flavors…none of which were glazed. My thoughts were those donuts were from the previous day. What a huge disappointment!!

When the first thing they were late opening.( didnt move cones til 6:10 waited at speaker for 15 minutes after that. no one acknowledged me til there was a line. No regular glazed, ordered chocolate covered with custard after they had no glazed, there was no custard or anything inside. Frozen latte was half whipped cream was well not even a full cup. Waste of money and time. No one in line and first one still waited over 30 minutes total.

The staff here operate well, the donuts are fresh, and prices are reasonable, what more could you want? They will be busy for the first month, especially for the drive through but skip that and get a parking spot, also see how the donuts are made fresh when in production!Ive been here twice now and the line is already going away so youll be able to park easily. try to get there around noon or any rush hours to get fresh donuts off the line.

The best time to go get your donuts is when the red hot and ready light is on. If you havent had a hot and ready Krispy Kreme donut you have not lived. Just saying. GO GET THE HOT AND READY!!!

Went through the drive-thru and received some of the least professional service Ive ever seen. Whoever was working decided that it was appropriate to good around and mess with the intercom while on shift. You could hear the interaction on the customer side of it. After a few minutes of waiting for paid play-time to finish I still only received half of their attention as I had to keep repeating myself while hearing someone messing around in the background.

Love Krispy Kreme donuts but the little manager was very rude to me. I never was hostile when asked if my mobile order was ready. I even pulled up on my own so they could find my order. But she snapped at me for no reason and eventually stated we don’t get it until 5 minutes before pick up time. I was there 15 minutes before time. If you don’t like your job quit do not put your frustration on your customers. She needs to be retrained ASAP. Poor customer service. Unfortunately this is the only shop nearby.

After having issues at the bojangles next door I decided to come here for sweets today. The service was outstanding compared to bojangles. As soon as i drove up i was asked what i wanted and said it will be just a minute. I needed some time to look at everything they had, a minute later I said okay Im ready. And the guy over the loudspeaker said just a moment and then immediately after that a lady came on and said go ahead. Placed my order and was in and out in no time with a smile on my face, especially considering they got the whole order correct and was very friendly about it. I know that it depends on who is working but the two I saw at the drive through today did an excellent job and i hope to see more of them in the future!

This way by far my worst experience with Krispy Kreme. I ordered a 3 pack and all 3 donuts were cakey and seemed undone and not shaped right. Ugh and my iced mocha drink was pure sugar.

Never been there on the day they had the line wrapped for the buy dozen get dozen for $1.00 I would have thought there would be a system in place pre ordered customers so they wouldnt have to wait in the line wrapped all around the building but there wasnt. I need yall to work on that park those cars have runners with radios or something keep drive through line shorter. But why 5 stars because even in the mist of that craziness yesterday Skip was outside asked my name I told him what I ordered and although they didnt have the original chocolate covered glazed doughnuts he gave us the chocolate covered sprinkled ones and these were for my 8 year old birthday on that day and she was excited.... so Skip saved the day with Sprinkled doughnuts verses refunding us because they were out.... thanks Skip for your help and we appreciate your service

Hehehehe was visiting a sweet friend, in Charleston, whos munchkins decided I needed birthday donuts...because, you know, it was my birthday and everyone needs Halloween donuts to picnic with at Azalea Park. 😃 They were so tasty and the folks working the window were super nice.

Yes, I know that I could have driven to West Ashley and back in less time than I sat in line for them. --but that isnt the point, is it. It was hot and now HERE. --and as usual, they were lovely. The only disappointment was that (in of all places, SUMMERVILLE) they did not serve iced tea. One of the things I loved when I lived in West Ashley was picking up a sweet tea at Krispy Kreme on my way anywhere. You can actually taste the Krispy Kreme sugar dust in the tea. I dont think they realize how amazing that is. I do.😍

This location in Ladson needs a do over. Always out of donuts and is it ridiculous to wait in a long line, pull up to the drive thru and nothing is ever available. Never have this problem at the locations in Columbia neither the one in West Ashley. My boyfriend went inside of the Ladson location and fruit flies was scattered all over the donuts. I’m like in total disbelief when he told me this one because I have never been inside of the Ladson’s location yet. Can’t believe the Ladson location still remains in business here.

I wanted to try Krispy Kreme for the first time to see what the hype was however, my first purchase of a dozen glazed donuts was small and skinny, like a deflated donut. But that didnt stop me, I wanted to give it a second chance for my husbands birthday. This time they were like noodles! I am speechless, I dont think its worth it and to be frank, Ill just go back to buying Walmart Donuts for $3.00 at least there it has chocolate covered and are much more pleasing to look at!

This Krispy Kreme is TRASH! This is the second time, we have rushed to turn in because the HOT sign is ON and was told the machine is turned off. I live near this one but would rather go to West Ashley. When asked why is the hot sign on but there are no hot donuts the cashier with the EARRING in her nose said we have no control over that. A LIE! Asked for the manager to explain and the manager would not come to the window. This is my last time going to this Krispy Kreme! Highly disappointed

Im so darn glad we have a KK in town now. It was long, long requested and as everyone around here knows, the line of cars is wrapped around the building every hour of the day because the donuts are so delicious. Use the website when you first line up, to order and save time and money!

Doors locked, drive thru closed at 8:30pm, store closes at 10pm. Five employees sitting in the lobby, most likely on the clock, staring at us when we drove up. I tried to ask if they were open, but they just stared at me, then laughed when I tried to open the locked door. Im new to the area, and this was my introduction to this store. This was my first, and most likely, my last attempt to spend money at this business. I cant respect, or support, a business owner who has such little regard for his/her business, customers, community, employees and self. As a business owner, your staff is a reflection of you. I am not willing to support a business with such poor work ethic. That being said, I have little hope that the owner of this business cares enough to read this review, but on the off chance that they do, I hope this can prevent others from driving half an hour for the same first impression.

Love Krispy Kreme, however... ordered 3 chocolate iced filled and 9 chocolate glazed, plus 3 hot and fresh and 2 individual milks. What i got when I checked the box at home was 9 plain glazed. Paid for chocolate glazed, says chocolate glazed on receipt. Tried calling and no one answered. Bummed

Before this location popped up, you would need to drive to West Ashley to satisfy your Krispy Kreme addiction. Occasionally, I would be known for bringing donuts to share at the job. This guy Lane, and I went back and forth for an entire year battling over who made a better donut? Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. He was a Krispy Kreme fanboy and I only endorsed Dunkin. I could not get this man to break his allegiance to save my soul. Lane, resigned from the job and on his last day, I sprung for Krispy Kreme. I wrote a special note on top of the box, to settle the long winded feud. You Win! When he shook my hand and said farewell, I still had this look in my eye like, you know this aint over. By that time, it was much too late.

My wife demands this place on a regular basis LOL but Im glad she can keep it under control!! I think they put crack in these doughnuts tho. Why the hell are they so good and so addictive??!! Just a quick note for the complainers... If you dont like the assorted that you get go in and pick them out yourself!!! Then you cant be mad at them for not knowing your taste buds LOL

I usually have no issues wit Krispy Kreme til I decided to do curbside. First off as long as I waited just standing there looking at my donuts already made I could’ve just stood in line for fresh donuts, being said the donuts tasted like they were oldddd at least this morning old and we just left there at 5 pm but just garbage this visit.

Donuts are always good. BUT the cashier was very rude because I had to change my order. I guess she didnt want to do it. I did thank her VERY much for changing my order for me and this chick just ignored me and gave me my bag like I wasnt talking to her. So I immediately called the store manager and reported her. I was assured she would speak to the young lady and offered me a free dozen donuts the next time I return. I refused the free donuts because thats not why I called. I just needed them to stay on top of their customer service. I have never had a problem at Krispy Kreme before today. I truly hope that young lady will be chastised.

Im so glad they opened a location of this side of town again! They doughnuts being amazing is never a doubt. Timing your trip around the daily rush is the real thing. Drive-thru gets packed at times and can wrap the building.

It takes alot for me to complain about a good hot doughnut, but this place has never had great customer skills or service. We came in for my daughters birthday a few days ago to get some doughnuts, after a long wait and two other customers that were allowed to go ahead of us, our order was no where to be found. After 3 different attempts the employee got our order correct. Every single time we come here its a train wreck. I dough-not recommend.

This store is the best Krispy kreme in South carolina. It is perfectly managed. Staff is friendly and helpful. The donuts are well prepared and fresh compared to other krispy kreme stores. Keep up the great work !!!

I have tried, several times, to give this location a chance. However, the quality of donuts is lacking what I am accustomed to from Krispy Kreme! Even though I live in Summerville, I will drive to the West Ashley location moving forward. They really need to get this location together. The lack of integrity by management is a BIG part of the problem. This is not how Krispy Kreme does business!!!

The Hot & Fresh sign was on and I had a coupon for a dozen so I pulled in. The doughnuts were perfect! So hot & fresh that I couldnt eat one on my way home! (Not that I ever do that😉) Also got a variety dozen of our favorite Choc Covered Custard Filled, Lemon Filled & Cake Batter. The drive-thru moves fast enough and then you get service with a smile

They put a beautiful amount of filling in their doughnuts💖💖💖💖!!!! Its true the best time to get them is when they have just finished making them, warm and soft, wow! Worth every penny!!!
