He made the entire process extremely easy and best of all, he didnt put any pressure on me even though they were short staffed on a busy Saturday. I purchased a motorcycle recently. The staff was nice especially Jose, Paul and Russ. My only knock was the time took to buy the bike. I had tier 1 credit and between my trade in and and downpayment, I put down over 8K. It took close to 4 hours to get out of the shop. Some streamlining of some of the processes might help. Other than that the staff was very accommodating and professional.
I walked in and was greeted by Greg with extremely great customer service I’ve ever experienced!! We I got to chatting about what I wanted unfortunately they didn’t had it but I was placed on a list so that they could’ve call right away when it came in and he did just that!! Let me start off by saying this was the easiest and best purchase I’ve gotten. I looked on the website for a nice used motorcycle. When I found one I left my information on the site inquiring about that specific motorcycle late one night. The very next morning, Mr. Robert called me and was very nice on the phone. We set up an appointment just for me to come in and look. Once I arrived at Velocity Powersports I was greeted. I met Mr.Robert and he introduced me to a salesman. The salesman did not pressure me answer any question I had and was completely straightforward. The sales my name is Mr. Jose. Not only did Mr. Jose assisted me with the information on the motorcycle they also drop the price. This was awesome and I highly recommend going to see them.
I stopped by just for a look and left with a new R1. Greg was my salesman and very helpful and easy going. It was a pretty fast in and out and they all did a phenomenal job even after the sale with other stuff ordered. Would buy from them again...
I called in to check the availability on a bike. Not only did I get a quick response on inventory but I also was greeted by the gentleman that took my call. Greg, was absolutely outstanding. He showed me around the show room. Gave me information on every bike that I was interested in. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and was very quick to show me every every feature. He brought keys to the bikes I was Interested in. When it came down to numbers and financing. He was straight forward. He explained the entire breakdown and what was best for me, went over options that would benefit me and my purchase. The paperwork was done quickly. The entire process was a hour and a half. I bought a little Honda 50cc Metropolitan scooter. And it was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had in my life. Paul was the consummate professional, as well as the receptionist who took great care of me. They delivered it to me the same day on Folly Beach, South Carolina.. Bought my Ninja 1000SX this year from Paul. Fantastic experience.My first month on the bike, I had a freak rear tire blowout. Thankfully, all went well. I have to express my sincere appreciation to the service department as they sent out a trailer to get the bike and take me home when I called stranded on 526.To call the staff and my experience great would be an understatement....

Im not the kind of person to leave reviews (my first actually) this deserves it. Things that stuck out to me when purchasing my Seadoo:1. Professionalism: Incredibly attentive and catering. I worked with Paul on purchasing my jet ski. I was able to get ahold of him anytime I called and if there was ever a time he was not available there was several others there that were available to assist me.2. I got a great deal! I called around to several other dealers about what a good price would be and Velocity was not only the lower price, they were the only place in all of the three states that I called that had what I wanted readily available (even in the midst of a shortage)2. Anytime they said they would call me (or someone else would) they always delivered on their word.3. I had a 12 hour trip total & once I arrived they asked a few times if I would be okay on the dive back and that shows they care about their customers on more than a business level.4. Very knowledgeable about all of their products and all of the financial aspects that come with it. I bombarded the guy with a million questions about my jet ski, scenarios, financing, etc and he was able to answer every single on without hesitation.5. Very welcoming. The place is as friendly as a small town southern BBQ. Talking to the staff feels like talking to people you have known for a long time.Velocity Powersports is definitely the way to go if you want to purchase any kind of vehicle. I took my can am ryker in 5 weeks ago to get a wheel fixed from an accident. As soon as I got bike back from velocity had the sensor go out so had to have that replaced. Since that my bike has had to be towed back to velocity 3 times because they are not fixing the problem which they caused. I was told today they will try to fix it this week but they are short staffed and only have one tech. I was told this exact same thing 2 weeks ago. I would not recommend velocity for getting anything repaired. They will just break something else.
Worked with Kyle to get my Ninja 400. He took his time with a noob who hasnt rode a mile ever. Kyle answered all my noob questions and didnt push me to a bigger bike that would be instadeath for me. Though the fashion choice of backwards sunglasses screams monster energy drink I didnt see one in all the times I visited there. Thats me in the second picture! If you are planning on buying a new toy, do yourself a favor and ask for Kyle. Fantastic salesperson. I annoyed him probably worse than I annoyed my wife. We placed a deposit on a Jet Ski 2 months ago and finally took delivery of it on Saturday. Kyle kept me informed, and was quick and responsive to any of my annoying texts or calls. Even post sale he is still answering questions that I have and helping me out as I go through the trials and tribulations of my first watercraft ownership. This tells me, as a sales manager myself he truly cares about the customers he sells too and its not just about getting the sale and moving on. Everyone else I also dealt with was also great, so the whole team is fantastic to deal with. Finance, Parts, Cashier are all very helpful. This is the location and Kyle is the person you want to make your next toy purchase from.
Before ever coming to the store I called to inquire about the Fox brand motocross wear and was told there were a variety to choose from. I got here and there wasn’t even a pair of Fox gloves they did not have anything I called and inquired about but being that this was a 45 minute drive from my home I purchased a mask which I am very pleased with and a pair of Thor motocross pants. BEFORE making the purchase I asked the cashier what was the return policy being this is my very first time in the store. She told me it was 30 days and that I would be able to return any of my items as long as they weren’t worn. After making the purchase and getting a receipt I then noticed the return policy said I had in fact 15 days and that I would only be able to return for a store credit with an additional 20% restocking fee. No refunds or exchanges. Thus contradicting what the employee had told me before buying any of my items. None of this information was disclosed to me prior to the purchase when I asked the employee what the policy was nor is their any return policies posted near the register or throughout the store to inform customers of this policy. I was able to return the pants for a refund however I was also charged a 20% restocking fee. Had I known of the policy when I asked about it I wouldn’t of made the purchase. My pants were 74.95 before taxes but Chris the manager told me that because he has to pay for the cost of the pants and was throwing the pants out that I have to be charged the 20% which is unfair to me as the customer being that I asked what the policy was before making the purchase and was not properly informed. That is not my fault and should not be on me. I suggested that for customers like me who are not aware of the policy it would be considerate and courteous of them if they could post it in their store because the only way of knowing this policy is after you have made the purchase and you are now either stuck with the item or having to get a store credit and a 20% restocking fee. I will not be returning to shop here just for the simple fact Chris was very rude and has no concern or best interest for the customers what so ever. He was very snappy and very rude. Word of mouth can go very far. It’s important to be kind to everyone you never know what kind of influence a person may have. The cashiers that rang me up were very polite and I have no complaints about them what so ever. Ask questions before buying.
We had a great buying experience at Velocity Powersports. Jose was our sales rep and went above and beyond communicating with us and getting everything done so we could take our new Sea Doo and Waverunner back to Tennessee when our vacation to Charleston was over. It was a quick turnaround as we were crunched for time and everything went perfect . We can’t thank him enough and highly recommend. Customer service was wonderful!
If there was day that I could take back it would be the day I walked into Velocity and spent close to $20K on a 2020 Kawasaki 310LX. For the short 17 hours that we had the ski it was great, it handled great, it was fast, it turned everyone head to look at it but then something went wrong and the engine stopped running. Now things happen and I understand but I had not even put the registration stickers on it yet. I took it back to Velocity with only 17 hours of use on it.......That was September 9th 2020, I still do not have my ski back and Velocity refuses to meet with me to discuss options. we are almost 7 months without a ski!!!! Velocity will never get my business again and I have been forced to seek legal council to assist with this matter. This is a 2020 model paid for, pretty sure this qualifies as a LEMON! Asked 4 a oil filter 4 a 2021 crf250f they gave me a oil filter 4 a crf250r went 2 put it on thinking it was right blew my oil pump I bought the bike in December rode Jan and aint had it back since then honda cant get parts very disappointed in this

Bought a motorcycle on 27 November 2020. Kyle in sales was good, but I was told bike had been serviced and that they would provide records, but I do not have any records as of this review. Less than 48 hours and I have replaced battery and spark plus and neutral light sensor does not work. So, we had some issues, but Chris and Kyle called us and asked how they could help. I told them what I wanted and they agreed and kept their word on what they were going to do, so original review was low, but props to them for keeping their word.
Kyle was great. Very laid back and got me on a 2021 Vulcan Classic on the 2nd visit.

They lost my packet. The DMV never titled the bike. I moved out of State and I called multiple times talking to a few different people and couldnt get anyone to spend the time to figure out how I can get a title to register it in Utah. Thought I had it figured out on my own and went to the DMV, and in short left upset and frustrated, so in my anger I called Velocity, Brittany Flynn answered and I was pretty rude at first. She was so professional and kind that I ended up apologizing for being rude. She quickly worked my issue remaining in contact with me. Years of trying and she had the answer in one day. Thanks so much Brittany, you deserve more money as an asset to the velocity team.

Purchased a new dirt bike from Greg on New Years Eve of 2020. We worked a fair cash price for the bike and Greg made the entire purchase process quick and easy. The free delivery to my home in Savannah was the icing on the cake. I am deducting one star because Im finding some shortcomings in the quality of the assembly of my bike. Some loose hardware, improper chain tension, improper tire pressures, dry air filter, and Ive had to top off the coolant level so far. Havent had a chance to check everything else on the bike yet but fingers crossed I dont find more areas that need some attention. Perhaps a little more attention is needed during assembly. Overall I would recommend this dealership and would do business again.

While I think their sales department deserves 5 stars. I have bought 3 or 4 utvs and a motorcycle from Paul there. Hes very good. Their service department deserves negative5 stars. I use them on several occasions and its ALWAYS something. Theyve forgot to do stuff, thrown away stuff that WAS NOT supposed to be thrown away, and as of late have had my utv almost 6weeks and its a different story every time I called. Theyre close to my house which is why I keep going back. But if you have any kind of choice for service DO NOT GO to velocity. Sales department 5 stars, service department is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!

If I could give no stars I would. I took my bike there Friday for a rear tire. The service Machnic put it up on the lift and start pointing out all sorts of things that might be wrong and then tells me the shop won’t let him work on it here. But will fix it on the side for $1,000. So I go get a second opinion. Low and behold nothing of what he said was wrong was wrong. My bike is all original and in mint condition. So be prepared when going too get ur bike serviced. ( JEFF ) will try and rip u off...

With specific bikes hard to get they found it in this Covid mess and got it to Charleston asap. Its going to be a great Christmas! I had been talking with Robert for the last week and set a time to come down from Columbia. I was looking at the 2016 harley limited. We rode for two hrs to get there and when we got there the bike wouldnt start and it had a oil leak. If we had just showed up it would not have been a problem. But since I had talked to them on the phone and they knew I was coming i find it very unacceptable that they did not even seem to care I guess they didnt want to make $16.000.00 I had intended on buying the bike today. I wont go back.
Just bought a 2018 Honda CBR1000 from Velocity. The service i got from my salesman was far and beyond! Paul was very helpful and got me riding. Its been years since Ive ridden and Im just now getting back into it. Unaware of how the various shops and dealerships in the Tri-County area do business, I reached out to VP and was immediately struck by how helpful Kyle was (no pressure and no upsell tactics).Im in the market for a particular bike and, while I wait on it to arrive, I called and spoke with Kyle for a second time to let him know that I plan to take the MSF course and need gear. I got good vibes from him, so I was going to reciprocate and not do the usual, roll the gear into the deal negotiation tactic. Besides, all I need right now are a helmet and gloves and, when I arrived, he introduced me to Jessica who was equally as laissez-faire in terms of decision making. She showed me all the options; yet when I told her I was interested in a sub-$200 helmet, she was just as passionate at showing me those models as she was about showing me the $500+ helmets.Based on Jessicas and Kyles dealings, I know Ill be loyal to VP so long as they keep these two stellar employees around. We brought my sons dirt bike to be serviced here. Went to pick it up & paid $235 and service tech couldn’t even keep the dirt bike running when we got there. The tech stated ”we could leave the dirt bike there or take it home” I informed him I would not be taking it home considering we just paid to have it serviced. Needless to say we will NOT be returning for anything after we do get the dirt bike back. Terrible service!

In April of 2020 i took my Honda 1000 sxs to Velocity trusting in them to fix it. I have had the worst experience with the service department. After very little contact from them and even talking with the service manger which didnt even help any i finally opened a claim with Honda in September so that they could help me get the ball rolling. I have gotten every excuse in the book from Covid, 1 service tech, Honda taking forever to approve the parts, parts on back order. Not only am i upset that i have had to cancel 4 riding trips and making payments on something that cant be used because of the delay in getting my machine fixed, i have also lost time with my warranty because it has not been returned to me for me to use the machine and utilize the remaining warranty that i paid for. 6 months later my machine arrives today to my home with a hole in the door plastic that was not there when it was taken to them and with a bolt to repair it that clearly was not the correct bolt for the area it was placed. Why would you not mention this nor fix it before returning it if you knew the customer was already so upset with the service received. Not to mention not all bolts were even put back into parts that was replaced and my machine clearly has sat outside for 6 months which it is garage kept at home. Not one care from the service manager Paul that i am upset over the 6 months it has been kept he tells me this happens . No for a business this shouldnt and for a business to not even make sure the machine is right before it is returned to the owner is even more ridiculous. So my advice to any shoppers that are considering Velocity for purchasing or repairing any atv. I would consider my review. I also would like to mention i ride with a group of 20 side x sides and four wheelers and do alot of out of town trips and no one that i have shared my story with yet has had the experience i have had with Velocity. From sharing my story with a rider friend recently he chose to take his four wheeler to G3 Florence to have the four wheel drive replaced and had it returned to him in 1 week. It was a smaller job than mine but they did right by the customer and got the job done and the unit was picked up in the same shape it was dropped off. I will continue to share the horrible experience that i have received with velocity in the past 6 months.My response to your review and updateI understand things take time exactly why I waited for several months before I even opened a claim with Honda. It shouldn’t have taken 6 months it was not being built from the ground up. Then to get it back today with many other things so I turn around and take it right back to you. A few more added to the punch list a seat full of water from sitting in the rain for so long, rust around screws, oil leak, ground strap for the motor not hooked back up, vent lines not hooked back up. So again I wait longer. May all seem minor to your business but it’s not to me.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I cannot say enough positive great things about the entire process. Paul made it an extremely easy and hassle free experience! He went over and above at every stage. From initial contact, through the purchasing process and even after the sale was final ! Couldn’t have gone any smoother.

Excellent experience! Paul (sales) and Greg (finance) helped me purchase my new 2015 V-Strom 1000 Adventure from the beginning to the end all the way from Tennessee!
