Wow! No one ever looks at the undercarriage of their car...I know I dont. I had one of those happenings that no one wants, driving down the road and the tail pipe FELL OFF AT THE MUFFLER! I came to Indy Muffler, today, Saturday, and not only did they get me in immediately, they fixed the issue and DIDNT hurt my wallet! I was visiting Lafayette from out of state over 4th July weekend when my car had a problem so I was not able to go to my regular mechanic. I called several mechanic shops in Lafayette, and drove to a few, all were booked up, Couldnt/Wouldnt help me. I was driving Teal Road and saw the Indy Muffler and Auto and even though I knew it wasnt a muffler problem (end up being a relay). I stopped and went inside and told the young man my problem, and he answered me with, Do you have 20 minutes or so, we will work you in and take a look at it. What a relief! They did need to order a part, and the next day worked me in Again and fixed my car. I felt this was one of those - above and beyond - examples, as they were Very busy, it was a holiday weekend, and I was from out of town.Everyone I dealt with at Indy Muffler and Auto was very polite and professional. And they didnt charge me an outlandish bill for working my car into the schedule they were very reasonable priced.I HIGHLY recommend Indy Muffler and Auto

I couldnt have asked for a better experience here. Our alternator went out and they squeezed us in with no wait. Then when it came to time to pay, it was LESS than the quote they gave over the phone. Very fair place and now the van runs great.

Good place to go to get your vehicle worked on. Just picked up my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 from getting the exhaust manifolds changed and muffler taken off. Sounds a lot better than what it did. Plus at a good price

Needed struts for my 93 Toyota. I paid $500 for the car three years ago. I got a quote at midas for $899 for just the rear! And another $850 for the front. I called Indy the guy told me to get my struts on eBay and hed install them saving me a lot of money. I got all four for $220 on eBay and he did the work as much. Rides like a new car now!!!

I went up there like about a week ago to have my brake done. The mechanic forgot to put all the bolt in . And now the brake caliper is rubbing on the wheels, very dangerous situations the lives me in . I would never go out here for car maintenance… completely not very professional

Just went here today for a catalytic converter replacement and I had already gotten the part from auto zone. The part looked very similar to the old one but wasnt an exact fit even though auto zone stated that it was. He had to modify it to make it work in my car and it runs like a brand new car! My acceleration and engine power couldnt be any better now! Highly recommend these guys and will come to them for future business.

I had identified three exhaust leaks in our minivan and went to Indy Muffler to get a quote. They had my van on a lift in 10 minutes and quickly gave me a quote. The cost was very reasonable and they had my van done quickly. I took the van home and inspected the workmanship. They did a fantastic job! I definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

I honestly love the people here. They are absolutely fair and fair priced. Wont do work if they are unsure of what they are doing. Change oil faster than any jiffy or fast places and charge about 1/2 the price!

There prices are decent but it comes with bad work had to go back to them three times after getting brakes and rotors because they did not put the correct kind on. Got a alternator a year ago just went out again because they didn’t put the correct type that belongs on my car and didn’t tell me I had a bad wire!!! Quick cheap work with major consequences and have to come out of more money!!! Never go to them!

I came to West Lafayette for couple of days to visit my family from Charlotte, NC and I own 2005 Nissan Altima.I had trouble with heating issues as my car AC (air conditioning) was working properly but heating wasn’t working that great. I showed my car to a local mechanic in Charlotte and he said it would cost me around $500-$600. When I took my car to “Indy Muffler” and I told the problem to the owner, he didn’t say any other word apart from saying, you need to fix radiator and it will not cost more than $200.I was shocked as he was so honest and my car got fixed in less than $200 bucks. He could also charge me more for the things which I don’t know but he is a genuine guy for sure. I have also fixed my car front bumper, headlight, one tyre and windshield liquid reservoir and you know what, he fixed all these in less than $300.Bottom line I would like to say “HE IS GENUINE, HE FIXES ONLY THE ISSUES AND WONT CHARGE MORE, HE TRIES SAVE YOUR MONEY, HE IS HONEST GUY”. Trust me and mark my words. I wish he moves to Charlotte, NC may be for some reason and open his store here.10 stars out of 10 stars...!

Great experience at a great price! Had flowmaster 40 series in stock. They installed flowmasters cheaper than other places wanted for knockoff muffler. Great install, clean welds, would highly recommend.
