This used to be my favorite local coffee shop when they first opened because the owners clearly tried so hard to start it up and were so friendly, plus the drip coffee was amazing. Since then the drinks (especially seasonal or specialty) have been very hit or miss. But whats more, the place currently has a reputation (for better or worse) of not enforcing masks or social distancing to the point where even the owners dont wear masks inside when not at work. They are the only store Ive noticed in Boulder County that dont have a masks required sign on their door even though it has been the law for weeks. So naturally people who dont believe in wearing masks flock there. I do however love the decor and merchandise they sell, and they have a cute little kids play area. The place is very appealing for the yuppie crowd, and I hope things turn around so it can be a fav for me again.

I came in with my kids this morning. I was very uncomfortable in your coffee shop. The lack of diversity and odd glances were clear that my children and i were not welcomed in your shop. The ladies who worked behind the counter were rude, flirty with male customers while ignoring my order i placed after i paid.. They served every body else and had me and my children wait over 35 minutes for our tea and coffee order. The second order, my daughter wanted a hot ham and cheese sandwich. there was no one behind us so i assumed the order would only take a few minutes. This order took almost 40 minutes because they were talking to each other and getting other orders. they heated and served everybody else really fast but had us wait again. by that time, they left her order sitting on the counter without telling me it was ready when i was standing beside the counter. I asked if this was her sandwich, one of them said yes in a rude way. Her sandwich was burnt and thought i would not have noticed that. To give an 8 year old a burnt sandwich is despicable. I spent over 30 dollars at your shop. we spent over an hour total for our orders that should have taken 10 or 15 minutes .I will not be going back there again. If i had known serving people of color was a problem for this shop, i would not have taken myself and my children to this place.

Really cute little cafe! I liked the decorations and vibe a lot. The Jade green tea was very high quality. Would for sure come back again!

This is a great coffee shop in Lafayette, CO! The drinks are amazing! Both coffee and non-coffee drinks are crafted with such care and detail. The decor is also very nice. A great place to spend an afternoon doing some work.

If you havent been here yet you have to go...The Liberty elixir is amazing...seriously the perfect balance of flavors.Also gotta love their pastries, esp the green chili.The free movie night is an extra treat.Its a great atmosphere with awesome treats and shopping.Cant wait to go back and experience more :)

Clean and quaint, a progressive beverage menu (with your standard coffee drinks as well, don’t worry), and friendly staff on hand to dish up a delightful experience. BREW gets it right.My iced americano only had one size option with a double shot. Seemed to be a light roast, and the flavor was bright and sweet without too much acidity. Really enjoyed it.

I think Brew is a great place to hangout with friends. The employees are really nice. The lavender lemonade is delicious and so are the lattes. They add a very cool drawing on the top with milk. Brew has great service. I would recommend brew to my very good friends!

Had a chance to finally stop by this local Lafayette gem. Got a latte and an acai bowl which was really good. The decor is on spot with the Due South feel next to the coffee shop. Look forward to coming back and working remotely from here.Cheers!

Went in today to hang with a friend and had a lovely time. The atmosphere is calm, the employees fun, and the tea delicious! Definitely going to make this a dwelling place.

Well, I have mixed feelings. It’s a quaint, comfortable atmosphere. I’ve been coming for several months mostly for to go orders. I left a review here before. It’s gone. I was disappointed that my coffee drink was no longer being made to my liking when a turn over in staff occurred. I was being asked questions on how I wanted my coffee made. And to be honest, I really had no idea how the prior staff made it. Apparently it was my fault. I wasn’t ordering correctly, and not using the correct wording. I can be taught. I think we worked it out, but the review ruffled feathers, and it’s no longer pleasant coming. The staff is mostly kind, although sensitive to reviews. I left $50 for pay it forward act of kindness today, and it wasn’t used. Every customer that came in paid for their orders when the $50 should have covered their order. That was a kill-joy. I tipped the staff of 4, $5 each. I’m not a middle class wage earner, and money matters to me, so I left disappointed. It’s lost that lovin’ feelin’ for me. It’s not a bad place, but perhaps it needs at least one older, mature lead person to boost the morale of staff, and be a happy professional face for customers. Time for me to move on.

Have loved having a place to come to study & work. Usually gets busy & tables fill up fast, but is spaced out well! Staff is SO friendly, food is reasonably priced (I highly recommend the ham & cheese croissant or the apple muffin) and the Lavender Sweet Tea has me back time & time again. Strongly recommend this place!

This is a great place for atmosphere and ambiance.I want to love this place because of that and the staff are nice but they just arent critical thinkers.Ive ordered the acai bowl and paid for it a few times but Ive only gotten it once.It shows bananas on the image and it does normally come with it but theyve been out of stock. Which is not the problem. Everything is out of stock lately. But most places tell you when you order not after you pay and receive only portions of what you paid for.Twice this has happened.So to take ownership in my situation in order I called ahead. Like I said, Im really trying to like this place.I told them the past few times they have been out of bananas when I ordered the acai bowl and I wanted to make sure they had them before I came in. The staff member let me know they did have bananas.I drove up and ordered the bowl and the acai machine was broken so they couldnt make it.Thus my comment on critical thinking. Not sure how I could have saved them from this poor review besides calling ahead and being extremely detailed about ingredients. I imagine at that point, there would be a bowl shortage if I didnt ask for cutlery.So Ive given up. Its a nice atmosphere but the staff just needs some training on critical thinking. Or just in putting a sticky note over items they cant make at the time like other businesses do.

I wanted this place to be good so badly! I’m visiting from LA and it looked so cute and had such great reviews but it was unfortunately average. I got an almond milk latte and an açaí bowl. The latte was okay, you can’t really taste the espresso much and the açaí ended up being thrown out. It just had an odd flavor that I’ve never had with açaí. Super strange. The place is cute, the people weren’t the warmest but they were nice... probably wouldn’t go back. Based on other people’s reviews, it might be worth a shot but for me, for the price, it was very meh.

Baristas are attentive and prepare quality Brew! However, I was disappointed today as the Staff and customers were without masks regardless of vaccine status. The posted sign made no mention that the unvaccinated should still wear a mask while in the store. Regretably, the store and coffee shop lost my support today as a result.

Very slow to get our drinks (we’re talking upwards of 20 minutes for a dopio and a mocha) even when they aren’t busy. The staff never seems very friendly.Due south is attached to the shop inside, and there are entrances in both Public Rd and a parking lot behind the buildings. I believe this is a real estate business first, coffee shop second. The WiFi was ok and the outdoor seating is plentiful however it’s very loud due to the proximity to the road. Seating in the other side is limited but quieter, though it’s hotter since there is less shade.

My secret find this month right in Lafayette. Best coffee, chai teas or lattes ever. Smooth coffee and bakery items for anytime. I enjoy my daily coffee in a nice atmosphere. Lots of places to sit comfortably either inside or out. When youre done with coffee and sweet cookies etc, you can check out the boutique that attached. Or with WiFi you can relax for a bit and soak up the ambience. The Battista is friendly and will make your beverage just the way you like it. I like drip coffee with cream, and that coffee is so smooth.P.S. the Layayette Flea market is behind them, a neat way to spend a Saturday morning.
