Ive been coming here to this practice for the last 30 years. At one time or another all 5 of my children have been examined here. Now 3 of my adult children who wear 👓 still come to Lamorinda Optometry. I fly in from Hawaii for my annual 👀 exam. The staff have been long time employees. Dr. Orr even suggested I may want to look into a Optometrist in Hawaii, but his honesty and practice goes a long way with me. So Ill continue to make the flight ✈️ back as long as Im healthy enough. Lamorinda Optometry found an appointment for me within hours after I injured my eye. Dr. Yu was friendly, calm and professional. She explained what she was doing at each step. She also took care not to make the pain worse. I am confident my eye will heal properly.

It’s good to be back. I’ve been a loyal patient for years and then had a change of insurance so I wasn’t able to see Dr. Orr for two years. Now I’ve got proper insurance again and I can say there is no better optometrist I’ve ever seen than doctor Orr!!They could use a more diverse frame selection but you can always buy one from the outside and bring it in. I cannot say enough nice things about lamorinda optometry!!

Im a new patient of Dr. Yus. My first visit was a thorough exam since I had been going to a doctor in San Francisco but called here on a Saturday afternoon, with new floaters in an eye. I was surprised that I was given an appointment in an hour! I was back yesterday with an eye injury, and have switched to this office because (1) I recently moved to town and its across the street. (2) I was impressed by the professional office staff (3) Dr. Yus is very knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. I just sent them my records from my former Optometry place, so this is my place now!

I’ve been with Lamorinda optometry for a little over a year now. My first visit I was really pleased with the thoroughness and quality of the exam, in addition to the attention and knowledge of the doctor. Then, when I accidentally dropped my glasses and lost a nosepiece due to waring masks all the time, they fixed then within 15 minutes and they were like new! I was definitely impressed and extremely grateful.

I received great care from Lamorinda Optometry. The office is super clean and well run, everyone was very careful about following all Covid protocols. Dr. Orr listened to my vision concerns. He did a thorough eye exam and gave me a prescription for computer glasses. The optician who helped me at Lamorimda Optometry was fabulous. She helped me select really cute glasses. I’m no longer embarrassed on the long Zoom calls. I can see everything very clearly and look great too. The selection of eyewear is amazing. I purchased sunglasses during my visit, most places don’t carry Lindberg eyewear but my sunglasses are super light and stylish. I highly recommend Lamorinda Optometry.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Orr for quite some time. Though we have retired and moved to So. Oregon we still come to Lafayette in order to have our eyes checked and to order our glasses through Lamorinda Optometry. The service that we receive from both Dr Orr and his staff is outstanding. Driving 6 hrs south, for an appointment, should speak for itself. Recently on short notice we were able to both get in for appointments, which was most appreciated. Yes we could see somebody in our current town but, with the service and expertise that we experience we prefer to make that drive. We both could not express our pleasure with Dr Orr and his staff more. We highly recommend that you make your appointment today.

Lamorinda Optometry has been our dispensing optician for going on 20 years. We have nothing but good things to say. Your eyes will be in good hands -- well, not literally -- by Dr. Orr.

My work changed my vision coverage and so I went looking for a doctor in our new vision plan. Tried for 2 years and wasnt happy with any of the doctors. The exams were short and not as thorough as the Lamorinda office. The Lamorinda office checked in with me on a yearly basis as a follow up and I found myself going back to see Dr. Baker and paying out of pocket. My husband and I both use Dr. Baker and Dr Orr and are very happy with the service. .
