I liked Dr. Heaslip she seamed liked she really knew what she was doing and very nice. Tifany was very nice and trying to get the most value out of my insurance. I really liked her personality and wish that everyone I work with was just like her. Thanks Tifany
Very helpful in getting the insurance figured out. The Doctor explained a lot of things about my eyes to me and she was knowledgeable enough to make me feel at ease with the exam. Very nice. I buy my own frames online because I love this old style. If they had them available that would be awesome.
I needed to pick my sons glasses up on a Saturday and I was headed their way the moment I could. My GPS said I would be there at 4:03pm so I called and said I was on my way and that I would be there at 4:03. She said sorry, we close at 4 and if we arent here there isnt anything we can do. I asked if she could just hand them to me out the door the moment I pulled in but when I pulled in at 4:03pm she had the door locked and no effort to help a paying customer. I understand that it was after they technically close but what in the world?!?! A little help could go a long way. This mama was in need of a break after an exhausting week with my other child in the hospital and I am just blown away that they couldnt wait 3 minutes. Thanks a lot.The exam and doctor were great though so I dont want to downplay them. Reception could use some lessons on customer service.
Doctor was great & store was clean and well stocked. I was told to pick 5 frames and put them on tray and make sure not to put anything back that I touch since each would need cleaned again. I was very careful to lay aside any selections I didnt want. Once I got about 3 in my tray and ten pairs that I didnt like set aside, the manager decided to make a scene in front of the whole store about what I thought I was doing and did I really think they enjoy cleaning the frames I touch. And that theres a 5 frame limit for touching. I stated I wasnt comfortable paying $400-500 for glasses that I hadnt tried on. I ended up paying for the exam and leavingLong story short. ..if you want treated with respect and have any common sense at all, i would suggest going elsewhere. Its not appreciated there.
Wouldnt recommend going here. In my experience usually eye doctors are very helpful. Unfortunately, this particular store was difficult to deal with from start to finish. Tiffney the manager is rude and doesnt seem to care about helping the customers.
As i was leaving a review for today’s services i read 1 previously left. I just like to say the Manager simply stated to please keep and put all frames touched into tray. Nothing more nothing less. Very kind in her words and not disrespectful at all.My experiece was great!
I had a great experience here. First of all, the eye doctor was extremely nice and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and did a thorough exam to get my precise eye prescription. The employees working were also very helpful and aided me in my selection of glasses and corrected how they fit. Great store!
The lady w bonde hair in front of the store made you feel very uninvited!!! I was trying to make an appointment and my husband picked up a pair of glasses n she told him to NOT PUT THEM BACK ON THE RACK needed to be cleaned wich I get but there is a way to say that without being rude Ive been in customer service all my life n never acted as rude as she did .I decided we will shop else where.

I have been there for my eyeglasses. Eyeglasses is good and has a great promotion. However, I found that one server is a little bit rude and make me feel not so comfortable.
The doctor was very nice and professional. It was the lady up front that was very rude, she would sigh loudly and would tap her nails on the counter as if I was annoying her. She had short wavy blonde hair. She made me really uncomfortable but everyone else was nice.
They were very patient & helpful. The doctor listened & explained things well in our eye exams. They worked hard to figure out insurance options and were knowledgeable and no-pressure when it came to picking out glasses for me & my son. Very impressed by the staff & by the large selection of glasses.
The only reason I give them a 3 star is because the are extremely short handed. Other than that they have friendly staff and a great selection of glasses.
I was impressed with how I could schedule my appointment online and get paperwork done...as a new customer. Plus I was able to get in the very next day. After selecting my eyeglasses I was told that If I hadnt received them in 2 weeks to call the store and check the status. It was easy to remember this because that certain date happened to fall on my birthday. The day hit and I called, I was told immediately by a worker who didnt check for them that they werent in and that they had no late notifications from the supplier.I told her about being told to call if the target date passed and in a condescending and unprofessional tone she tells me that she would never tell one of her employees to say that.Two days later out of the blue I show up to the store to check the status. A kind worker up front saw my order date and said she’d look for them and then she brought them out to me.I received no phone call, text, or emails from the store about my order being ready.After this experience I will never use this store again and I will not recommend them.
The Place Is Clean And The Dr Was AMAZING! However... The Gal In Front (the day I was there she was the only one not in scrubs, which is fine. Shes shorter with glasses) Was BEYOND RUDE. She Was Just Nasty! She Wasnt Friendly. She Was Short With Me. She Was NOT Helpful, After Seeing The Dr. We Were On Our Own, Choosing Glasses, Not Knowing What We Were Doing! Another Girl, With Red Hair Was REALLY Kind And Tried To Get The Other Gals Attention So She Could Help Us But, She Stayed In The Back Until We Choose Frames. Then She Had To Come Do Our Paperwork And Was AGAIN Very RUDE! Short! Bothered! And SO UNHELPFUL!!! Like I Said, I Adored The Dr! And The Place Was Immaculate. But, SHE! RUINED My Experience And Made Me Incredibly Uncomfortable And Like Less Of A Human. Not Ok...

Took My Son Here For An Eye Exam. The Dr. Was Great! And Thats About The Only Positive Thing I Can Say About Our Experience. The Lady Up Front, Was SO UNBELIEVABLY RUDE!!! Not Only Rude, Not Helpful, Unprofessional And Not Kind. And Almost Every Other Review Mentions This SAME RUDE WOMAN! She Needs A New Job. Because Of Her, We Wont Be Back....
They were able to get me in quickly and the appointment was on time but as soon as they found out I wasnt purchasing glasses at the store they were completely unhelpful and unfriendly. They acted irritated that Id ask for the full prescription and refused to give me the PD number claiming it wasnt on file.

I visited Visionworks in Lafayette, IN on March 27, 2021, because they are supposed to be a premier provider, atleast according to my insurance company anyways, and although they were very polite and friendly, the dr did not know what she was doing. I brought my old prescription in from my last eye exam, so the dr went off of that to check my eyes. Well after getting home that evening, I looked at the prescription she gave me, and compared it to my current prescription, and it was drastically wrong! So I called them that following Monday and all I get was their computer screen says differently from what Im telling them. Mind you, this was AFTER I told them what my current prescription says, verses what their prescription says. All the while I can hear someone in the background dictating to the person on the phone what to say. So I contacted corporate, and someone from corporate named, Jennifer, called me, and did nothing but make excuses for the staff there, and tried to tell me I was wrong, when I told her someone was in the background dictating what to say. This, Jennifer, also would not allow me to explain anything, when I refused to drive 30 minutes to see if my glasses are correct or not. Why should I spend my time and money to make sure they did their job correctly? I do NOT reccomend going with this organization!!

I want to be completely open and honest about my experience with this location. I used to be the Retail Supervisor and I LOVED my job. I moved on to a different job and since then I’ve been in the store twice - once to drop off my glasses for a remake, and once to pick them up today. I left the company because of the multitude of issues that I had with the manager, Jennifer Cochran. When I left, I thought I would never have to deal with the abuse again, since I was no longer her employee and she would have to at least be cordial with me. When I dropped off my glasses, she debated to help me, saying that actually it was 30 days to buy the protection plan, when I know that it is 90 days. (I even confirmed today with someone in corporate that it’s actually 100 days). She reluctantly allowed me to buy the protection plan and remake my glasses after they were damaged in a car accident. Forward to today, I come in to pick up my glasses and she shouts out the lab door “and never come back here again!” Now she is going to tell her superiors that she never said it, and she is going to manipulate it so she doesn’t get in trouble, because that’s what she has always done. But the general public needs to know that this is really how she treats her customers. Other people have gone on here and complained about the customer service, and Jennifer just has corporate delete them because they are a bad reflection on her. I have seen first hand how she treats patients, and then when corporate calls to ask what happened, turns around and tells corporate the exact opposite. Tifany, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Karsyn, Riley, and Annie are all fantastic. Dr. Heaslip is probably the best in her field, and I never want to see a different doctor because I know that she’s gonna get my Rx correct every time and listen to any concerns I might have wig my eyes in the future. Leaving the company was heartbreaking, I love them so much and I miss working with them. I myself am debating ever coming back, but I know that I wouldn’t get nearly the same quality of product from somewhere else. But I would advise other customers to avoid working with Jennifer whenever possible if you want the best customer service. I hope something is done about this so others don’t have to continue to endure the rude, narcissistic, gaslighting, and bullying General Manager Jennifer Cochran.
I went there first time trying to check the frames they carry, the store was empty with one client at the far end of it, only. A woman approached me from the back with impatient looks first then no welcome then impatiently saying I need an appointment which I did not argue, then she answered a phone call and kept me standing there!!! I worked in clinics for a long time, you do not stand a client to answer a phone call, it is called courtesy and obviously these people dont have it.
Went in with my almost two year old and all the ladies were fantastic and patient with us. We had Angelina help with our purchasing needs and she was fantastic and even gave my daughter a whole stack of sticky notes to distract her while we finished my appointment. Highly recommended!!! 💯👍👍
I had a great experience. Everyone was really sweet. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and they got me in and out quickly the Dr. Was nice and easy to talk to. They had a lot of cute glasses to choose from.
We had a great experience here, and that was true DESPITE them having a computer issue that could have caused serious delays.Instead, the staff rolled with it and simply reordered the exam process so as to complete all of the non-computer related steps while they worked to get themselves back on the network.We felt like everyone we dealt with knew their jobs inside and out. Their ability to adapt to the sudden change in procedure proves how well they know their responsibilities. Our doctor was very knowledgeable and responsive, and introduced me to a new type of contact lens that I am already completely in love with!We were also VERY favorably impressed with their selection of frames and the wide variety of prices to fit every budget. I literally found my perfect frames within moments. I tried on a few other pairs, just to be sure (and HUGE kudos for their disinfectant policies for this!), but ended up selecting the very first pair I had tried on.We have VSP insurance, fortunately for us, and so for under $200 we had our exams (two regular plus one contact), the eye mapping, and orders for 6 months of 30 day overnight contacts and a pair of regular (and cute!) glasses for me, plus a pair of industrial safety glasses for my husband.Im not sure weve ever paid such a low price for such a complete package of eye care, even though weve had VSP for many years.The doctor advised me on the power I would need for reading glasses, and this is also the first time I havent felt like I had to play tug of war to walk out with a copy of my contacts prescription and our regular glasses prescriptions.This is a place that understands families are on a budget and doesnt play games to try and force you into spending hundreds on new glasses (or contacts) rather than ordering online for a fraction of the price.Perhaps that, more than anything, ensures my loyalty to them....we WILL be back, year after year, for our familys eye care needs!

I was surprised to find out that, yes they pull your insurance paperwork,but dont review it beforehand. My Insurance policy says Im eligible but visionworks says 2021. I feel like I should have gotten a phone call prior to my appointment, so I could have rescheduled and not made the trip. Jennifer was extremely rude. When I asked her to run my paperwork again, she slammed the paperwork on the desk. Terrible customer experience.
The doctor was thorough and kind. But the customer service experience was pretty rough. Both my husband and I felt walked-out feeling like an inconvenience and an annoyance to the workers upfront.

My son recently said he was having trouble seeing his Chromebook for Virtual School. I reached out to the Lafayette location on Friday, and the Manager Jennifer, was able to get us appointment on Monday. At the appointment, I was impressed at how everyone was following CDC guidelines. Dr. Heaslip was very engaging with my 9 y/o (who was pretty nervous) and was very thorough. Jennifer helped us pick glasses out and offered a number of choices. Angelina checked us out quickly and efficiently as well. We were told the glasses would take a week, but we had them in 3 days!!! I couldnt believe it. Thank you so much Visionworks!
The customer service is great! The prices are affordable and they offer many popular brands. The optometrist is very thorough and practical in her evaluation/feedback. The customer service representatives are patient and will assist you with all insurance questions. Highly recommend this place of business.
I dont really know where to start . The Dr. And the other lady in back was great .The rest is one of the worst experience with buying an item that I have had.I had taken the survey they had sent me twice with no response from anyone .I would never recommend this place to family or friends.
I had a good experience. I opted for extras, which cost me more, but did not feel like I was pressured in to the extras. Doctor Heaslip was great and honest and saved me money on contacts. The woman who checked me out helped me pick out glasses which looked good and were priced well (including a 60% discount). Everything from check in to checkout was pleasant. I will be back, thanks!

My fiancé and I went to get prices on glasses with her insurance, and we were met with awful customer service. The woman who helped us was condescending, and rude. She was incredibly impatient. I would never recommend going here. Instead of getting glasses there, we got her script and bought 3-4 online. The people running your store impacted your sales. She was awful don’t go there.
Extremely helpful staff and it was a very positive experience. I was with two associates, one who worked on finding the right frame and the data entry. The other worked on fitting the sunglasses. Both of them were friendly and very helpful with their explanations of how things work. I felt very confident with their recommendations. My prescription sunglasses look and feel great!
I was suggested to go here by a coworker who used to work here. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with the staff here. They were very condescending and started calling me dear and honey when they were frustrated. At one point, they said I gave them the wrong insurance and literally said to me we cant find it under you, your mom, your dad... is it under a long lost cousin or something? And then scoffed at me. I felt harassed by the encounters I had with several staff members and decided I would not be spending my money supporting this business. I will not be going there ever again and would not recommend anyone to go here.

They were super sweet and helpful when we came in for a walk in for our daughter before she headed back to college. They were very busy but still managed to squeeze her in and were so kind during the whole visit. Jennifer and Emily were the ones that helped us and I was very pleased with the experience.
Not a very friendly staff. When I got my glasses, I felt like it was a hurry up and get out sort of thing. Didnt give me a cleaning cloth. I definitely dont recommend the Visionworks on Sagamore.
I got an email informing me that my glasses were ready for pickup. So I went to pick up my glasses that I ordered almost 2 weeks ago. I spoke with Supervisor Emily and after she looked around she advised me that she could not locate my glasses. She asked me if one of my family members picked them up and I told her no considering I live an hour away. She then questioned weather I was messing with her because “other people have” before. Dumbfounded that she would accuse me of this, I asked her why I would drive over an hour to pickup glasses if I already got them? She then found a paper stating that they had been given out. I asked her how they would have been given to the wrong person and if they verify owners info before releasing them. Emily then began to get an attitude and advise me that they check the address but today was “a very hectic day”. I then asked if that was an excuse for them messing up. She then started getting even more mouthy to which I told her she need not get mouth with a customer when THEY messed up. I asked if there was a manager present and she stated she was with a little smile. I then asked if there was someone else to which she stated “she’s on vacation and I’m not bothering her”. Emily went on to state they could order another pair and have it expedited. I asked how quick is expedited to which she annoyingly stated she doesn’t know and that it’s totally up to the warehouse on when they wanted to send me them. I then just requested a refund. Emily continued to be extremely unprofessional, rude and condescending the entire process. This woman does not need to be employed in customer service nor be a supervisor. I will never go back and I will advise everyone else to go ANYWHERE else.
Dr. Heaslip and her staff were awesome. I believe Liz helped me at the front and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. This was my first eye appointment in almost ten years and they made it easy and affordable.
The doctor is great here. The ladies who help however are stingy and rude. They don’t know what they are doing and they take forever. I frequently have to explain to them things that should be obvious. Go to Neovision with Dr. Loew. Much better
Employees were really nice and welcoming. The Dr. gave me a great eye exam. He even numbed my eye and removed the tiny fragment of something from my eye. I couldnt get it out myself and he did. Her was very nice and friendly, and extremely helpful.
Friendly staff and a great selection of glasses. The only thing I would suggest is to explain the costs better. Saw the receipt and had no idea it was going to be that high. But I will give them a call to have them explain the amount to me. Other than that, I had an enjoyable experience and cant wait to get my new glasses.
I made my appointment on line. The web site was quick and easy to use, and I didnt have to wait any longer than the time it took for me to drive to the physical location to get in to see the doctor. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. They explained pricing in a clear easy to understand way. No high sale pressure tactics. I found all their prices to be very reasonable as well. I truly look forward to interacting with them again in the future.
Went for my very first eye appointment here and they were wonderful! Just super high quality service the whole time, and very personable people they have working there. A lady named Emily helped me and Alison I believe was the doctor and they were both just awesome. Would absolutely recommend to others. Great place, great service.
I went February 27,2020 and had to get new lenses in my frames and told me it would be 5 to 10 days and then was tokd they would be in March 17,2020 and yet to receive them. Now due to the virus that is sweeping the USA they have closed their offices O know this closing is not their fault. I tried calling the office today and the phone was always busy. Poor customer service. I know I wont be using them again.

The customer service here was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were very friendly, greeting me warmly as I walked in to browse for frames. They were more than eager to assist me in getting my perscription adjusted and setting me up with a pair of stylish frames. I believe it was the general manager who assisted me, and it was very nice to see that even management was willing to ensure that I had a wonderful experience. I will most definitely continue using Visionworks for future pairs of glasses and sunglasses!

All the staff was very friendly, Mrs. Jennifer the assistant manager explained very well the sale about contacts that they have. The doctor who checked my daughter incredibly honest. At school they had sent us a few times a letter stating that she needed glasses and the doctor told us she didn’t. She didn’t lie to us just to get more business we greatly appreciate the honesty and defenetly be recommending this place. Really fast eye exams and not more than 5 minutes waiting, which compared to other offices it’s like a 20 minute wait in between exams with this office we were done within 30 minutes

I was in a pickle! I had over $1k in flex money that I had to spend in one day, otherwise it would disappear. I called, made an appointment, and even though they were super busy, they hooked me up with an exam, and then the lovely Emily started doing her thing with the numbers, and I ended up getting SO MANY glasses. Used every dime of the flex instead of losing it, and am rocking some killer prescription shades now as well. I am hooked, and will be back when I forget to spend this years flex money!

I was in love with this place when I first came and got my glasses and contacts although I hated my glasses and thats no fault of theirs I have a really high prescription. I am just furious that I was told that my contact lenses exam was good for a year... I took a fall and didnt get back in to get my re- exam done and never got to even wear my trials..when I went to put them on they were ripped . I came back in ND asked what could be done and they told me I had to pay 60.00 again for a reexamine that I never got... And I feel like thats just bad business. A year is a year regardless and I paid for an exam and got no use out of it. I think at this point in time me and my family will be looking for eyeglass services elsewhere.. I dont want to do business with a company that doesnt honor their word
