So a stone lithograph had to be spot-on perfectu2028______________What does that mean?, you may ask: for one, beyond the design, each color was laid down with a litho crayon as a resist to an acid etch lifting the crayon resist to be the one color at a time ability to print each color. And then the stone was cleared for the Next Color. All image is gone.______________Why does this Matter? You will never see this method again for they were wise to pull the image forward and move the text to a minimalism. Nobody, and I mean Nobody does that anymore. Nobody._______________But I can buy the same image as a...Giclee, which is French for dye sublimation (color-copy) print on any surface known to man. Yeah well, thats not an original Stone Lithograph from a masters hand.
