Thank goodness for this gelato spot, and more importantly, JULIA behind the counter. We were walking back to our car after being kicked out of Carmelitas on the corner at 9:20pm. We had made reservations for my sisters golden birthday dinner celebration at 8:30pm, and the first time our server came to our table, she said it was last call for food and drinks. She sucked the life out of the night, and I would never go back.That being said, Julia was the light of the evening. We wanted to attempt to lift our spirits with some gelato, and we were surprised to find that Julia was who we needed. We chatted, laughed and got to know each other in a very short amount of time. She made my sister and my parents smile and turned the whole night around. She gave us all these fabulous gelato combos, and we excitedly agreed to try them out. I actually used to work for a gelato shop, and I feel like I missed the opportunity to bring the same energy as Julia. Shes a rad person and someone to meet while youre on this planet. I will definitely continue to be a patron here.Its not about what you do, but about how you do it.

I was happily surprised by the delicious and varied VEGAN options. Visiting Cali for 1 week I visited the location twice. My only regret was that the 2nd time they ran out of vegan apple streusel. So I couldnt have my ala mode. The staff was very nice and highly accomodating as a brought in my family of 8. Thank you for the great flavorade; wish you had a location in Georgia! I will be back!!!

Wow I love their gelato. The customer service is a must. I brought my family in after a long day on the beach and the people who were working were so kind. They have a lot of great gelato choices and the waffle cone was delicious.

This is one of the best places! The gelato was amazing and they had tons of flavors, a nice variety of fruit and desert. The staff was very nice and Im so glad I was able to get samples to help me decide. Definitely coming back to this place when Im in the area again!

This gelato store had the best ice cream ever. Tons of amazing flavours and a cute design of the outside of the store. But it had a long line for the ice cream but was worth it!!!!!!!!🍦😘

My fiance and I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. I prefer sitting in the lounge over the main dining area where they have live music (same food). The service is great no matter where you sit.Even though you might think steak = time for red wine, start with the Eagle Rare Manhattan that comes with its own tiny ice bath. And for the love of all meat please order the regular filet instead of the petite. For $5 more you get 50% more steak goodness, you can always take some home if you just cant seem to finish it (never been faced with that problem!).

The girls are not using gloves and no even a tissue when they grab the cone, the taste of gelato was no good like it used to, me and my friends definitely no going there again!

If you enjoy fresh fruit flavors or you desire vegan options, this place cannot be beat.

They captivate you immediately when you see the different flavors that are so unique in their look. Theres so many choices that you feel almost overwhelmed. Nevertheless, I suggest trying out the flavors that you normally arent used to seeing, as this will give you an experience that will definitely leave you with wonderful memories. Customer service was nice here as well, kindly letting me try at least about 5 flavors. Theyre very patient so be kind to them and make sure to tip em!

The gelato was great, but the service was even better. There was just one girl working there tonight, but she was super friendly and helpful, and didn’t make us feel rushed at all even though it was near closing time and we were taking a long time trying to decide what to get. I would definitely go again!

Too many flavors to choose from. I’ll definitely be back. The waffle cone didn’t seem too fresh and the bottom was broken so it leaked gelato everywhere. But man was the Banana gelato delicious!!! It was exactly what I was craving. The service was awesome and I really want to try the cobbler next time. You should try and move that display to the front because I didn’t even realize you had conlleve until I was paying.

Absolutely LOVE Dolce Gelato. Most gelato places are really just ice cream. This store is authentic and very creative with themes changing often with so many different flavors. Dolce Gelato has so much flavor and verity. My favorite flavor is the Strawberry Balsamic. I hope everyone around gets to this store. It IS that good! Enjoy!

Celebrated my birthday here last night! Loved the ambience and live pianist! Hostess was sweet and very welcoming. Waiter was chill and made sure we were okay. We ordered the Harris Steak Tartare and Seared Foie Gras for appetizers. The tartare was a surprisingly big portion. Both tasted alright. Our main dishes were the 12oz Filet Mignon and 49er Cut. They were pretty delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered my steak medium rare, but it turned out to be pretty rare instead. Was a little disappointed since this is a steakhouse, but the cute complimentary birthday dessert made up for it.

I like this location more than the the Ferry Building. Its their original shop and has a more intimate, mom and pop feel. Plus, the two times Ive stopped by this winter theres very few or no customers at all so we could take our time to try flavors.

I come often as i love their Ice creams. Big selection and delicious tastes. I recommend this place to all ice cream lovers.

I love this place. It has amazing gelato, of course. What sets this shop apart though is their incredibly talented and creative chef that dreams up these wonderful seasonal delights. Im not going to go into detail about the special flavors available now because they change all the time. One they are featuring now will turn your mouth black which is pretty fun. Go check them out, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve had gelato all over the world, this was the best. Get a scoop or two, walk the boardwalk, and watch the sunset. Life will pause for just a few minutes.

Photos are of the Christmas flavors. They change flavors for holidays and seasons. Always excellent. My dark and white bowl are vanilla bean and Krampus, a magical flavor blend that is strong chocolate, followed by a burst of cinnamon, then the tongue is touched by just the right amount of habanero. Amazing!! Its always so hard to decide among the creative flavors.There are flavor combinations here you cannot even imagine.

This is the best ice cream I have tasted so far. My favorite is creme brûlée. Staff is friendly as well.

Good gelato at a reasonable price. If your looking for some ice cream treat made with care and real ingredients at a reasonable price ( not a beach price ) I suggest the Dolce.

If you are ever in LB ( Laguna Beach ) you have to do yourself a favor and try this place. I promise you will not be disappointed, they have common flavors and different mixes you wouldnt think would be great but turn out to just ROCK YOUR WORLD!!! Just try it & you will love it.

Small place with street parking. They do have a paid public parking around the corner. Great variety of flavors and other options like cakes and pies made of their gelato. If Im in the area again I would definitely stop by. The service is great and they are extremely friendly.

Great little shop located just across the street from the light house. Gelato is very delicious and there is a huge selection. Would highly recommend getting a cobbler.

We travel to Italy often and I can truly say this is par with Italian gelato. Pistachio was the best tasting in southern California. I recommend it.

This shop has the best gelato west of Italy! Their selection is incredible. I counted 24 flavors in the case. If you are near Laguna Beach, CA I highly recommend Dolce Gelato!

They have AMAZING VEGAN GELATO. We got a super rich chocolate flavor with almond milk and a flavor called Maui Coconut flavor with almond milk.

Excellent gelato and unique flavours. They have normal flavours too. The creativity that goes into the creation of the gelato is amazing. One of this weeks offerings was Blackbeard, which was dark chocolate and anise. I want sure if I liked it or hated it. Definitely a must do in Laguna Beach

The ice cream was crazy good, creamy and delicious. Bonus - they make their waffle cones right in front of you too, so they are really fresh. The line went around the corner but moved super quick. We had trouble finding the place at first - you have to walk inside the passage (Pennytree Lane).

We come to Laguna every summer and we love gelato. Every year we make sure that Dolce is still the best gelato place and year after year it is hands down the best. Each year they have a theme and have some interesting and yummy flavors. The staff is very friendly and we really enjoy visiting every year.
