I was disappointed today. I think the ownership must have changed. In the past, I met the owner who was a charming, knowledgeable former millenar. The tongs woman who assisted me want listening and consequently, wasnt helpful. Im doing to look for a new hat shop.They still have a great assortment of hats, mostly sun hats right now.

Loved visiting this place with my mom convinced her she would feel better if she bought a hat. We walked out with a great big hat and the ladies that helped us out were amazing. Thank you.

Don’t buy their hats before you check in internet and other vendors... I just paid $60.00 more than another vendor was offering for an identical labeled hat... buyer be aware!However, If you want a custom made hat created by a well know milliner... this is the place!

Ive been in Orange County since 1980 and visit the store frequently, what a great lady Paula is with her New York sense of humor. She makes me laugh every time I go in and I walk out with a great hat, a fair price and a good story! Love this place!

Highly recommend. The most wonderful hat shop around. We travel to Laguna Beach every year and look forward to seeing the store owner and artist, and buy hats! Paula is very gifted, very kind, and we always feel welcomed. Take the negative remarks about customer service with a grain of salt, consider the source. Her hats range from affordable fine quality to her own creations, works of art, for special occasions. Please be respectful when coming into a hat shop. I have seen people handle the hats in a way that made me cringe. Paula cares deeply about her craft, she has a long history surrounding hats, and is a precious jewel in our minds. I recently purchased a beautiful purple hat that Paula designed. It is my pride and joy.

I bought my hat over a decade ago and still treasure it. I keep it in its iconic box to remind me of a trip I took to Laguna and met Paula. Fond memory indeed. I’ve never worn my hat, as I do look at it as a piece of art to be admired on occasion when I think of my Mom.

They are courteous and gifted with their expertise, they treat everyone so nicely and their product is excellent quality! Highly recommend!!!
