Not a friendly place.Tried to BS me on CA laws to sell a bike.49cc or lower you dont need a motorcycle license. Learn the laws on the business you are in.Low inventory and way overpriced.I ended up driving 35 miles but got a good deal somewhere else.

Asked questions over the phone about purchasing a scooter. The gentleman was very rude over the phone and hung up on me. I called back and he just hung up on me again. I asked a simple inventory question. Would not go back

Only scooter shop in town, only shop with the equipment to change a tire wont do it. The owner says he can not change an inner tube for liability reasons?? Like I can sue if my inner tube pops?? Ill buy it, Ill drop my tire off.. not worth it to him, just lacks any passion for the job, he doesnt understand how to create a customer. I support all laguna business, but small towns dont need bad customer service as this.

I have been dealing with Lee and Chris for over a year and they have never steered me wrong. I have found them to be honest and helpful when getting work done on my scooter. Lee is genuinely interested in the quality of my riding experience even outside of the shop. I am a repeat customer, having bought two bikes from this shop and will be buying my third from here as well.

I live in San Diego but made the trip to work with Lee... I bought two Vespas from him, gave me a very fair price and customer service is great. Getting ready to buy another one from him too... Highly recommend Lee and his store!

I purchased the Piaggio Fly 150 3V from Beach City. Lee spent a reasonable amount of time with me reviewing the details for each of the models I had an interest in... Lee and his team are great to work with, the service center is efficient, fast and reasonable... you wont be disappointed.

Sold me a scooter that you can’t fill up all the way with gas. So technically you get 85 miles a gallon but the tank cannot be filled all the way up or the bike is unusable. So you are constantly pulling over to get gas.I told him i wanted a kymco which i had a great experience he sold me on this and i went for it. Was a huge mistake. Don’t buy his Cabo 125 they are garbage. Rarely fires up on the first try. Used it for about 300 miles over 9 months and now i can’t get rid of it to get a quality one. Called him with the problems and he said there is a two year warranty but my problems aren’t covered.Then i asked him if he would buy it back he said no and to list on Craigslist.1 star was too many.

We came to Beach City Mopeds last year after going to several places looking to buy our first scooter, Lee and his wife Sherry were great, Lee showed us all the different models and took the time to ask us what we wanted to do with it, based on what we told him he recommended a great midsize scooter to break us in. Our credit was not that great but they said not to worry and got us financed. Most places would just say sorry come back with cash and push you out the door but not these guys, they really cared about us and got the deal done. They offered something that no one else did CUSTOMER SERVICE, a dying art!!! We were so happy with our first experience that this year we decided to upgrade to a full size scooter to take trips on, we went back to see Lee and Sherry and they REMEMBERED us and were HAPPY to see us come back in. Lee got us a great deal on a full size scooter and once again helped us get financed, we picked it up today and we are extremely happy and excited.
