All that I required for my home was in with no reservations here and immense regard to the proprietor of this basic food item shop who made my life simple. The nature of their items is on an undeniable level, and Im appreciative on the grounds that the accuses are simply of my spending plan. Without a doubt, the best spot to do your basic food item! Extremely awesome!

Such a nice store, was easy to find and get to. Tons of British products, definitely memory lane for most shoppers. They sell some interesting South African and German products too! Respectful staff, friendly. Will shop again for sure.

Everyone this store has a new location they have so much stock on chocolates, jams and chips 😱😱😱you won’t believe what awesome goodies they have highly recommended. The store is super clean and the employees very friendly and helpful.

What a fun place to find items from overseas. It was clean and well organized. The only downside is that prices are high. I expect to pay more, but I was hesitant to pay up not knowing whether I would like it. Dont let that stop you from checking it out.

This entire experience has been terrible and I will not be shopping here again. I made an order in early October for my Christmas fruit cake (the jewel of my order) and I thought I’d get the family some nice imported goodies as well. When the products arrived to the store I was contacted and told that an item which I order would need to be substituted. I had actually ordered four of this item so it was a significant change. I agreed to the substitution while somewhat disappointed and waited for my order. When the order arrived THE FRUIT CAKE WAS MISSING!! Another item was misleading in its description. I was disappointed that assorted chocolates were actually cookies dipped in chocolate and the four boxes of fruit jellies I order will all EXPIRE IN ONE MONTH. I have emailed and have tried calling all day yet they havent picked up the phone or contacted me. What an absolute mess. Very unprofessional!

Paid $90 for my Christmas pre-order. It still hasnt been dispatched, despite them saying this would be completed, at latest, last week. My order was fulfilled in October. No communication back after numerous emails. This must be a scam. I will revisit my review with details of how I get my money back/this is resolved.

This place is terrible. No updates regarding the store closure and if you drive a long way to shop they wont even let you buy the one thing you need.With everything going on I understand precaution, but, if Im outside your store, just bring me some sausage....

Originally from the UK, I live in New Zealand now. This is a great online store from which to buy British treats for my family who live in the USA. It has a great range of items, good value, reasonably priced and speedy shipping. I thoroughly recommend British Food Shop!

DISGRACEFUL!!! I purchased my items November 30th as a Christmas gift. On their website (AND STILL NOW) it says all items purchased before 12/3 would arrive in time for Christmas. Guess what? It hasn’t even been shipped yet. I’ve sent THREE emails all of which they have blatantly ignored. I get it. Times are tough. But when you blatantly say it’ll arrive for Christmas and say it’ll be 10 business days for dispatch and it’s gone 14 business days and no response to emails, disgraceful. If you had any form of explanation I would understand. But you provide nothing. All of the small businesses struggling to stay afloat right now that deserve the business! Yet I chose to support you and you cannot even keep your current customers happy, my business will go elsewhere. It takes 1 minute to respond with an apology. Will be seeking action with my bank and the BBB to get my money back and report your disgraceful business practices.

Have shopped here by mail for years and never a problem. Before they posted on their website on expiry dates, they would call to see if you wanted an item if it was about to expire! Great customer service, great selection and in recent times, the website has improved hugely. No issues, you can feel confident ordering from the British Food Shop.

I have ordered with them several times before with no problem. I can’t say that about the current order.Things arrived which were dented and two items were open and leaking when they arrived. After a cross country tour that is kind of gross.I called them right away to find out what to do and whoever answered the phone was quite terse. She wanted photos and emails. So I did that. And it has been about a week. And no one has gotten back to me.It’s not like the dollar amount of what is lost is going to break my bank account but it is the principal of the thing and the theory of customer service, or what customer service should be.

I ordered very standard items. The next day I get a call from an unknown number with a text right after telling me to call the shop. I replied via email and asked what the problem was.... four days later and no response. Ill be asking for a refund... $60 for black pudding is outrageous anyways

I shop here a few times a year and I really enjoy it. We buy food and gift certificates for our British friends and this store always has what we want.

I can find all of my childhood foods here. Pricing is not too dear.. they also have a cafe in the back that has curry foods ready to eat.

I bought 2 Gold Crown Christmas Slabs. They were dry, almost to the point of being stale. No response from the British Food Shop. Ive bought Gold Crown many times in the past and have never had this problem.

I order from these people regularly; never had a problem, quick delivery, usually and completely wrapped in bubble wrap. Great British supplies.

Disappointing. My daughter ordered products from this company but when they arrived 50% of items were out of date - one item by 3 months. The item was produced in UK on 27th February with shelf life of 90 days. Therefore this item was 3 months past expiration. Not good. Other items expired on August 15 and April 15.I will advise my daughter not to make anymore purchases from this company.

They have some international foods, but mostly British. Probably best to shop there if you want to try something that is only sold in the UK.

Lots of stuff for those missing their homeland or for those who have visited England and want more of those certain foods or candies they came to love! Its a little hard to find right now with the various construction occurring nearby but well worth the effort.

I ordered a Christmas cake on 11/19/15. It is 12/21/15 and I still havent received my cake. I have emailed and called every day for 2 weeks and no one is answering. I checked my bank account and they also double charged me. I cannot get a hold of anyone at their business. I am afraid this place may be a scam.

Placed and order with these yahoos Nov 12, It is now Nov 30th. Took my money, will not answer numerous phone calls or emails . What do you think ?
