This is an excellent car stereo store.Sam assisted me and put together a package that I am extremely happy with. You can tell hes very experienced, a true audiophile, and loves the industry and his work.However, often its when things go awry that you truly see the professionalism and the quality of a shop: on the scheduled install date, the amplifier that we had selected two weeks earlier was late on the shipment and out of stock. Instead of asking for the install to be delayed, Sam without hesitation offered to use a 40% more expensive amplifier model without increasing the price over the out of stock model. Thats quality customer service and so a big 5/5 star review of my overall experience. Thank you AudioLab!

I got my new jeeps motorized steps Installed there. They a great job with the wiring and kept my jeep clean. They carry car audio and accessories. They have a lot of stuff in stock compared to other places I went to. Sam is great didnt try to upsell me.

I went to Audio Lab one Saturday to see if they would route a length of #10 AWG red/black wire (that I provided) through the firewall and out from under the interior carpet. From there, I would add connectors at each end myself and finish my ham radio installation. They said they would do it and I made an appointment for the following Saturday. I got there early for my appointment, went in, discussed what I wanted (which was a little more than I originally asked for!) and gave them my keys. I sat outside their store at the chairs and tables they provided, my car in the parking lot out front. My appointment time came and went. A full hour after my appointment time, their tech took the car back to the workshop. He installed the wire through the firewall, added dual fuse holders and fuses, connected it to the battery, and routed the wires under the carpet and out at the door kick plate, just as I requested. He told me he sealed the hole with silicone, too. I would say it took the tech about 20 minutes to complete the job. Once I got home, I took out the fuses, added the connectors I needed for my radio and finished the installation. All in all, Im very happy with the work Audio Lab did. It would have been nice to be told that they were running behind schedule and given an estimate on when the work on my car would begin, which is why this is a 4-star rating, not 5-star.

If you are not a car-audio expert, save yourself some trouble and just head straight to AudioLab. I purchased a stero for my car online that I thought was plug and play but it ended up being way more complicated, and additional wiring harnesses and adaptors were needed. I took it to AudioLab to wire and install for me. I made an appointment for the morning and it was done in the afternoon. They were upfront with their pricing and Mike was very friendly. I will definitely go directly to them for any future car-audio needs.

Awesome honest shop. Dropped by with my car in shambles. They came and checked out the audio. Recommended I check one thing but put me on the books for an appointment. There reco was right and the fix worked! Didnt even have to bring it back or pay. True customer service. Highly recommend this shop.

My car stereo was stolen and insurance is making me get quotes from different places. I went to a handful of different shops around the Orange County area today and AudioLab was the only one who was any helpful at all. Mike helped me with everything I needed and more. Based solely on how I was treated at AudioLab I’ll continue going there for all my future projects.

I got my 2019 wrx subaru tinted here along with a simple car speaker system installation... The experience was simple and easy to follow. The setup they have to be able to experience the product you are buying is very cool. After installation I did have a screw from one of my seats not screwed all the way down when they installed my AMP and one of my glass did have a fix needed but with a simple phone call they took care of me without a fuss... 10/10 will go here again and would recommend!

I had a couple of cars tinted here and they do good work with genuine 3M materials. I also bought one of their Pioneer head units and had them install it. I loved the unit and being able to use Android Auto, but unfortunately, that car got totaled, just months after getting it installed. The work was good, but I didnt feel completely satisfied with the whole experience to give them a 5-star review. Give them a try and see for yourself, what you think.

What an awful experience me and my buddy had coming to this shop. Everything was out of place on our vehicles and as soon as I get in my hazard lights are left unplugged and body panels were scratched and missing . Never coming here again !

Awesome place! Super high end quality shop at a fair price. Customer service was great. My Jeep is all hooked up with a custom installation now. Sounds amazing. Sam the owner is extremely knowledgeable. Even hooked up my bumper, rock sliders and LED lights for me. This is not your average shop. This place goes above and beyond. Oh, and they did my tint for me as well!

I came in for a dash cam installation. I paid $125 for it. I had to buy an additional wire. It worked for a few days then the power didn’t work. The wire that they sold to me was faulty. Now I came back, they said they can fix it but it will cause me another $60. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Audio Lab did an excellent installation of an amp and speakers in my car about three years ago. Today (3/3/18), I brought my car back in because one channel stopped working. I fully expected to pay for their diagnostic service but was pleasantly surprised that they not only found the problem but fixed it free of charge. I certainly did not expect that! Great customer service well after the initial installation! I highly recommend this shop.

Had a system installed in my Matrix almost two years ago. My front components went out as well as the subwoofer (which I installed later on). I troubleshooted the issue as much as I could finally coming to the conclusion that the amp had died and that I was going to have to buy a new one. One of these guys best attributes is that they have a lifetime warranty on the installation, so I figured Id let them take a crack at it. Very glad I did because they had the issue resolved in no time. Turns out it was a blown fuse, the one that sits between the amp and the battery. I wasnt even there a half hour and they had the problem fixed. These guys are super efficient and fast at what they do. Like their web site says, they are thorough and prefer doing a complete job. I will always go to these guys for my car audio needs. Prices are great, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the showroom is fun to browse through. Definitely check these guys out if youre in the market for improving your car stereo.

This was my first experience with Audio Labs and I must say they did great work. The work was completed on time and done in a professional manner I was even given a loner vehicle to get back to my office.I highly recommend Audio Labs if you’re thinking about upgrading your vehicle.I would also recommend you get your FINAL price quote in WRIGHTING a handshake and verbal agreement doesn’t matter in this shop.I was quoted a final price out the door taxes and fees included only to find out my bill had been padded an extra $275 dollars after the work had been completed.On the final bill it was listed the price for the radio Alpine X209 a price for the labor and parts and then it jumped $275 with no explanation.When I asked why, I was told that’s for taxesbut on the bill it was not labeled as such it just jumped up in price.As a business owner myself a handshake and a verbal agreement in my shop is binding and solid as a rock, not in this shop.Again....FYI GET YOUR FINAL QUOTE IN WRITING!! And you should be good to go.

I had a great experience with Sam. He is knowledgeable about the subject matter and attentive to detail. He gave my car a thorough inspection before recommending improvements, even finding flaws in work performed by other previous installers. Highly recommend!

EDIT: I had a subwoofer mounted today and Im quite disappointed with the results. My trunk has a foam tray underneath the carpeted floor. They cut a rectangle out of the foam to sink the sub under the carpet. This is fine, its exactly what I wanted. However, the floor needed to be raised a couple of inches to avoid sitting on the sub. They called to let me know, and I was fine with raising floor. Unfortunately, they did it in the laziest, most inadequate way possible. Rather than put a couple of plywood sheets under the foam tray or something, they velcroed some wood blocks to the top of the foam in 3 places. So now the floor has barely any bracing underneath it. It flexes and bows in multiple places and its obvious that as soon as I put anything in the trunk its going to crush the speaker grills on the sub and the floor is going to develop warps over time. Even better, they bolted a forth support into the trim, permanently damaging it without asking first. I wouldnt have thought I needed to explicitly ask them not to make permanent holes in my trim. Its below the raised floor line, so I guess theres that. The cost came in at the middle of their quote. I would have paid more for a less slapdash solution.Original Review:Top notch service. Ive been researching components for a new stereo setup and Ive been especially worried about touchscreen radios and their affinity for lag. An employee listened to goals and concerns and walked me straight to a unit that suited my needs (and happened to be the one I was already looking at because of the reviews). He let me hook my phone up to it to test the features I cared about and another guy even popped in to help and took notes on the process so he could help other customers in the future. They then answered a few more quick questions about subwoofer options and made some more suggestions. And their prices were very reasonable. Overall a very pleasant and helpful experience. Id go out of my way to purchase from them instead of an online retailer just to show my support (and plan to once I have all the parts picked out).

In the last few years Ive purchased five car stereos from this shop for my five sons. Service is excellent, prices are reasonable and the staff are very knowledgeable.Last week I brought My Denali in because I was getting very poor radio reception. The guys at Audio Lab performed a diagnostic test on my factory radio and charged me nothing for their time.I highly recommend this shop. Looks like I will need a new stereo/nav for my Denali and I will buy it from Audio Lab!

I just left here and I am enormously pleased with the experience. Keith was nothing if not incredibly helpful and they helped me out in multiple ways at no cost to me. For example I had some pieces on my dashboard that were coming apart and breaking and they took the extra time to fix it for free. They aim to be honest and I for one want to see that continue. I called in advance to book an appointment to get the driver and passenger windows tinted on a Saturday. They said their installer didnt show up until 10:30 am on Saturday and I said I was on a very tight schedule and will call back and reschedule since that was too late for me. They called me back about an hour later to say the installer can show at 10am. I showed up a few minutes before 10. They took my car to the back to start the job and about 15 minutes later they came back and told me they didnt have enough tint in the shade I wanted to do the 2 windows on my car. Very frustrating since I was very clear on my limited time. Will be going somewhere else.

Im gonna be honest - I like these guys. Yeah, theyre not as cheap as the unlicensed mechanic on the street corner willing to do your install for sub-$100, but these guys have decades of experience on him. Their prices are far more reasonable than the Best Buy across the street, and theyve been around the install business for many years now. Theyre always happy to explain what theyre doing to your vehicle, or explain problems that come up during the install, all with an easy-to-approach tone. Ive even come back to them a few times after my install with questions on my cars behavior afterwards, and theyve always been happy to take the time to help me out.

Super friendly and helpful! I put in an alpine unit and it handled Bluetooth weird when juggling between video and music. I came in expecting them to just say Sorry thats just how it operates but they worked with me to get a different brand unit in there for a good price that would solve my problem. They were very flexible even when it required more work.

The response was : were backed up, so itll take 4-5 hours. The next logical question to someone who doesnt know that a couple of hours, means 2 hours. So I asked the genius : why didnt you call ?. The reply came fast & furious : I didnt have your phone number.This Audio Lab should hire a marketing company to help with customer service. WOW! Heres a success story you may not expect.I own a 2009 Bentley Arnage. Some time ago I had the stereo upgraded to the newest Alpine model, which turned out much better than i could have expected. That was about a year ago now. At that time, the door cover to the ashtray compartment in the center console wouldnt stay closed. During the installation then, Paul, fixed the door closure issue. That was huge to me.Some time later, I had the carpets replaced. During that installation, the carpet guy removed the center console. When he replaced the console, the same door over the ashtray compartment would no longer close. The carpet guy couldnt fix it. That stayed that way for months.Then, last week, I happened to come across a car show in Huntington Beach that I wanted to enter. But I didnt know where to get this door fixed, so I called Mr. Cervantes, the owner. Amazingly, he remembered me. That was Saturday. The car show was the next day, Sunday. He said bring the car over and hed fix it on the spot.I took the car over late Saturday afternoon, and Paul was there, and he also remembered the prior situation. He knew exactly what to do, and went to work. Within 20 minutes, Paul had the console out, fixed the door latching mechanism and replaced the console. Everything was in perfect condition and spotlessly clean.I couldnt be more pleased, relieved and appreciative. Sam wouldnt accept any compensation for this rescue, no matter how I insisted.The next day, Sunday, June 2nd, I entered the car in the Huntington Beach Concours DElegance, and it won first place in its class.No matter what you hear and read in the negative reviews, you cant fault this company and its team for an occasional mistake. Things can happen, but its the recovery from the mistake that matters. If the company culture is formed to do the right thing by its customers, then what matters is how the company responds to mistakes and makes it right by the customer.Just remember, everyone can make a mistake. But, what Sam Cervantes did for me was astonishing. Way beyond what you might expect from an ordinary company in the car stereo business. He deserves your business. You deserve his quality, customer support and unswerving commitment to integrity and excellence.

So far so good, called up the shop while bestbuy was failing miserably at customer service, told me they could get me set up and installed the same day. Really nice guy working answered all my questions and I always like the way a mom and pop operates over the corporate nation wide stores. You wont be disappointed bringing your business here.

No idea if they can actually install stereos. Called to schedule an install, was told they do not not take appointments, and to just come in the morning two days later. I show up, get a quote (that was $100 more than I was told in the phone) only to be told that I should have called ahead to schedule an appointment because they cant do anything for me today. Completely unprofessional, waste of time.

They installed my new head unit and asked them to fix my subs where my back seats use to be. They used very poor hardware and the metal straps they used broke the 2nd day. And they mounted my amp.to the metal of the back of my cab so they screwed holes through the metal so when it rains water comes inside and the amp shakes and rattles against the metal. I tipped them very well too and would have expected a better job. I dont know if I would come back here if they arent going to do something the right away instead of just slapping it together and making holes in the back metal of my cab

The actual work that was done is excellent and the price is very fair. The problem I had was with the guy who works in the front. He was very short with me and when I asked him to show me how to best implement my system in my car he acted like I was stupid for asking such a question when it would have only took him a couple minutes.

This is the kind of retailer anybody should want to do business with. I went to Audio Lab because the aftermarket Alpine in my Jeep crapped out in just over a year. The store that up-sold me into it made excuses about why it wasnt warrantied; the sun ruined it because I leave the top open.Audio Labs sales rep could have tried to talk me into dropping another grand, but instead listened to me and pointed me in the direction of a unit that meets all my needs -- better than the Alpine -- for less than $300 dollars. He even assured me that another Alpine would be more reliable, which made swapping out the old unit for a new Alpine super easy, costing him the price of an install and saving me all the money on new adapters for a different brand. Nonetheless their install price would have been a bargain, I just couldnt spare the time to leave it with them.I would go to these guys again in a heart beat and highly recommend them.

Sam and the guys here are the best mechanics I can trust to work on my cars electronics. I had the DNX890HD multimedia system, two additional speakers, and a rear view camera all installed in my 370Z in one visit. The mechanics were very detail oriented and did an excellent job of cable management and concealment that everything they installed look factory OEM.A year later, everything is still working great! In fact, I am thinking about coming back to install an upgraded set of speakers soon. I recommend this store to everyone!

I am a disabled veteran who suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving our country and it is with that in mind along with the outstanding experiences that I have had in working with several truly exceptional staff members of Audio Lab in Laguna Hills, CA. that I now write this review.When I went to Audio Lab for the first time about four years ago and explained some of the problems that I was having...such as forgetting how to get from one place to another...or bumping into things and putting dents in my truck...or even forgetting to turn off the accessories in my vehicle from time to time, leaving the battery dead…or how unbearable it often was to climb into a 130 degree black truck….with all of this knowledge, Sam and the rest of his team went to work on building out what was not only the best sounding stereo system that I have ever heard, but tailor making an entire package of accessories that far surpassed any expectations that I could have ever come up with to solve all of the challenges that I posed to them as well.When I got my truck back, the navigation system they installed worked like a dream and it was one of the easiest things I have ever had to learn. I know that just the navigation system alone has saved me hundreds of hours getting lost or trying to find my way…The window tint that they installed was spectacular as well. Most people would expect that window tint would cool down a vehicle…but what about if it was crystal clear? I probably wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it, but the window tint that they installed…even the clear tint on the front windshield…blocks 60% of the heat and makes such an amazing difference it is truly beyond description...but rest assured, it’s awesome.But what about keeping you’re drinks ice-cold? Well, they solved that problem too by installing a pair of 110V home outlet plugs and an auxiliary battery under the hood to power the cooler that I keep in the back seat…and in doing so, they also solved the problem with leaving the accessories on and having the battery run dead because now that everything is running off of the second battery…it is no longer possible to run the battery dead…again, just one less thing to worry about.And then there are the front and rear after market parking camera’s and bumper sensors. I don’t think someone would have to have a brain injury to really appreciate those. It is so nice to have those little warning beeps go off if I am about to hit something. They have already kept me from hitting things dozens of times and have easily saved me thousands of dollars in repairs I’m sure.And to keep everything safe, they gave me an awesome remote start alarm system that will work from up to 3 miles away...and is the best for those really hot days to cool down my vehicle before I get it. And if the vehicle does get broken into…it will even sound an alarm on my keychain to warn me even if I can’t hear the alarm itself and tell me which window was hit or which door has been opened…they truly thought if everything.So, what keeps me coming back to Audio Lab though? It’s truly because you will not find a finer team of people in a locally owned and operated family business that takes greater pride in their work or who will strive harder to make sure that all of your needs are truly me and you are completely satisfied with your experience!I don’t often take the time to write reviews…but every once in a while, someone comes along that has shown me such a great kindness as a customer…that it just wouldn’t be right not to recognize them for all that they have done for me…and this is one of those times. If you go down to Audio Lab and allow them to work on your car, truck, boat, motorcycle, jet-ski, or even ATV…whatever the toy you are bringing down to them to make even better…I promise…you will not be disappointed. Great experience overall. Put a 12 Fosgate P3 + 750.1 into Infiniti G35C w/ Bose system. Clean install. Had the box custom built to fit my trunk. Its poundin.

After waiting for half an hour technician guy told the lady on the counter to give me appointment next week just to check my audio system for $75! He never said welcome at least.

Terribile experience all round. Went in as a walk in and stated i had a budget of $500. I also told the sales person that I knew very little about car audio, which im pretty sure he used to his advantage. I went in for a new head-unit a 12 inch sub and an enclosure for the sub and he told me he would do it all with the installation for $500. I purchased it thinking I was getting a good deal, just to later figure out I was being extremely ripped off. I got home and looked up the model of the stereo I purchased just to find out that it was a discontinued model that was worth no more than $80, yet they charged it for $140. The sub and its enclosure was nearly $100 more than what the Best Buy across the street had for sale, also noting that the subwoofer itself was only worth $80 and they more than doubled the price on me! The customer service was not all that great either. I honestly believe they just wanted my money and did not care about what I thought. They did not seem very hesitant to rip me off and I could tell the sales person was not really to thrilled at my presence there in the first place, he just seemed to want me to get out, not very friendly, and a major rip off. I went here because the reviews here for them are all mostly five stars, but now I question the authenticity of them. I have never given a bad review, but to me this was a terrible experience that I would not recomend to anyone. Steer clear from this place unless you are happy to spend $500 for s**t that is worth maybe $200. I was extremely unsatisfied and got a refund for my money spent, but my money still has not been refunded to my account. I wish I could of had the experiences that the other reviewers had, but ironicaly, this place is the complete opposite of what my expectations were and I know they took advantage of the money I had for my budget. I think most of these reviews here are lies, because my experience was the complete opposite of all of them. If you do not know much about car audio I strongly advise you to take your money elsewhere, maybe somewhere that actualy has pricetags on their products on display...

Fast they know what you want and they have the best systems u can get at a very good price. I have been here many times for my 3 cars and I have and I will refer oder people and I have.
