Fantastic shop for fishing, snorkeling and information needed for a successful trip.I purchased some of the fishing lures he makes, the are beautiful.Wealth of information about the current fishing conditions and has excellent rental equipment.I highly recommend visiting this quaint shop, even if just to spend a couple bucks to help keep this place open.

Bought a $200 spear gun and 2 Hawaiian Slings and rented other equipment for our week in Hawaii. Took them back after our week of use in like new condition and gave them back to the store to resale in used condition since we couldn’t take them home and wanted to give back to a local business. We asked for 15 feet of rope to help get our luggage home and after giving them $300 plus of gear they still charged us $3.00 for the rope. The guy working seemed like the lights were on but nobody was home. He wasn’t rude but has no idea about customer service. We won’t be back. Too many other places to get gear.

Took a spear fishing trip with these folks. Hans was an amazing teacher! He helped me hold my breath longer, dive deeper, and stay more relaxed. We saw tons of cool stuff and brought home an octopus. Didnt spear any fish this time, but took shots at them. Next time Ill get some! Just an awesome experience!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection and prices! I stayed at Hono Koa up the street last week and was in All About Fish several times to rent a rod and purchase tackle, and replace lost tackle, LOL. I got great service and advise and really look forward to coming in again next time in on the island. Thanks guys!

The experience was great! Hans was our guide and taught us so much about how to spearfish and stay down lower for longer, we caught two octopus but they were to small so we had to let them go. Thanks Hans!!

I had to learn a whole new style of fishing, but it was fun.  I wasn’t too successful. Only caught an eel… Mmmmmm…. :-) But if you would like to try some great shore fishing the folks at “All About Fish” in Honokowai (north of Kaanapali) near the Honokowai Farmers Market) were soo friendly and helpful.  You can rent gear from them and they will help set up your rig.  You should try the “tako” (octopus). I got quite a few nibbles on that.  The All About Fish folks have guides you can pay to help you catch one of the huge Ulua fish.  I wish I would have done this.

Bobby and Hans were great tour guides! I learned so much about free diving and spearfishing. Looking forward to making this spearfishing trip a fixture in our Maui trips for years to come.

Went to rent some fishing gear with my wife to mess around with and see if we could catch a few fish at our resort and at black rock. The gentleman working said he had some people return a life jacket and flippers in poor condition so since we were from the main land he didn’t feel comfortable renting us a fishing pole. We are very respectable people and just wanted to enjoy some fishing. He also informed us that we wouldn’t catch anything anyways and the local places would’ve welcome us. His exact words, your welcome.... but you are not welcome. ???? Also treated the other couple very poorly. Weird vibe

Cool place good prices knowledgeable owner.

Staff weren’t that helpful each time I went in, they even were a bit rude and gave off the “I hate tourists vibe”. Saw them talk down to two people who were returning rental gear, yeah they should’ve disassembled their rods but they didn’t know better and you can choose to be rude or kind, the staff opted to be rude.

These guys rock! They have everything fishing and spearfishing you could possibly need!

Great little local store. Friendly staff with lots of local knowledge about snorkelling spots and fishing spots. Best part, they rent pretty much everything you can buy! Snorkelling gear - rent or buy, fishing gear - rent or buy, life jackets - good luck finding them anywhere but here and you can also rent them! I would definitely recommend this shop.

These guys are super helpful, honest and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of rods reels and tackle too! Sterling fixed both my reels in 15 minutes and charged me hardly anything! Do yourself a favor and go visit these guys and they will take good care of you! mahalos Boyz!

We visited this shop in search of a Hawaiian sling spear. They had a great selection from the most basic to the most advanced. The customer service was great and the guy that helped us was super knowledgeable. And very happy to help us. He gave us great information and advice. The snorkeling rentals here are the best in town for the price. They also have a wide selection of fishing products as well at a great price. If you need snorkeling or fishing equipment don’t hesitate to visit All About Fish. You won’t be disappointed!

Had a spear fishing/free diving day with these guys. By far my favorite experience I had in Maui!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff!

My husbands spear broke so we called and asked if they could look at it. They told us to come in and not only did they fix it, but they restrung it for us as well. On top of that, they stayed open late for us so we could pick it up and fish tomorrow morning.
