They have a great display of items. The staff is super friendly. The only reason they don’t get a five star review is because they don’t have appliances on site, everything is special order and you have a 7-10 day wait. Me personally if I go to buy a major appliance I need it now not in a week or two. FYI their neighbor keeps major appliances on hand.
Location is pretty good being almost right off of 210. Store is usually very clean and the one time I saw a mess (someone ruptured a can of spray paint) the staff was on it quickly and handled the issue. The greatest perk of shopping there is of course their Milwaukee tools. Great selection and prices that are in step with online autozoized dealers.
No help...they either just looked at you or didnt know where anything was.. disappointed
The experience was as expected they had most of what I needed but were out of a couple things, but that has been normal due to the massive rebuild after hurricane Laura. The customer serviceqt department was a not real helpful due to the fact the whole reason I went was to pick up a bag of material left there by my boss and no one there or in any other department seemed to know where the stuff was either nor who the woman was who called and said he left it. Im guessing it must been a morning shift employee. Overall not a bad experience but the one department that stands out would be the paint Department. The woman that helped me was very helpful, polite, and to the point which i appreciated. By far the best help I got in the whole store.
They said they had the refrigerator I wanted to buy but couldnt deliver until sometime in November

I’ve been to this store hundreds of times before, I’d consider myself a very regular customer since I buy all of the supplies I need for my customers here. I go out of my way too often to go here instead of any other home improvement in the area, but after today Im going to find a different store to spend my money at. I was at Home Depot today and after being followed around by several “secret shoppers” and multiple employees for over an hour, i was sick of getting treated like a thief for I’ve still yet to figure out a possible reason why. I’ve never stolen anything from this store in my life, actually I’ve never stolen anything in my life from anybody, simply because I was raised better than that and I can’t stand a thief. I finally decided to just checkout even tho I didn’t have half of what Intended on buying(I spent about $800 so it’s not like I was window shopping or just walking around the store for fun.) I treat everybody with respect even if they are rude to me, the little girl by the registers was so rude tho it’s hard to believe Home Depot teaches them to be so rude. What ever happened to manners? Or harassing people who are actually stealing stuff instead of the guy who spends thousands a month. Maybe watch the cameras better or hire “secret shoppers” that have some decent vision. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody but a thief👍🏻
We were sitting down with Jeremy & an older woman sat down next to us..we thought she was taking a walking break. She interrupted me & my partner from getting our order complete towards the end of our meet up & rushed him. I have to hand it to him for staying cool & calm while she got loud in order to skip the line. To keep this from happening to you.. be sure to cough violently when youre having a one on one w/a rep so another customer cant make a power move into a seat next to you. Thanks to her, our order was unfinished. We didnt see her walk away with any purchases.Thanks to him, he promptly made things right with us.
I used the self check out and was lost, the 2 young ladies help me and they were very polite.
Although they have a few good employees the managers are constantly incompetent.Their inventory is consistently off,It takes an obscene amount of time for them to figure things out and it seems the genuinely have no clue how to manage others let alone a store. It took hours to purchase a lawn mower recently and i should have learned from that experience, today after a 20 minute wait in the checkout line after others approved my purchase tge floor manager lost a $300 purchase over a $60 battery that was supposed to be included with my purchase. They were out and refused to allow me to purchase what they had for the difference of what they were out of. Literally an up sale, unless your desperate there are better choices locally
Horrible. Staff complained about going outside in a little rain to get 1 bundle of ridge cap material to finish my roof after I spent thousands on roofing products earlier. The young employees need to be taught skills on customer satisfaction instead of their own satisfaction. Would never recommend this store again. Been going to this store for over 25 years and the attitude of the employees has become very disrespectful, rude and not helpful.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Mr C! Clint was super helpful when I needed help figuring out what type of drill I needed. He made me aware of all the different types there were and made sure I was happy with what I purchased. This location is so perfect bc you can rest assured knowing if you need help Mr C will be there to save the day! :)
We purchased a brand new Samsung Refrigerator from this Home Depot shortly before Hurricane Delta hit. We paid to have it delivered. Took them three tries to deliver the thing. The delivery guy and his helper (who couldn’t have been more than 17) badly damage the side of the fridge when moving it from the truck into the house. I called the store to report the issue they transferred me to a 1-800 number who then transferred me to somewhere overseas to a person could not speak English…It was a total nightmare, no even Tried to help resolve the matter... so we are just stuck with her brand new fridge that arrived damaged.
Its only a few ppl in that store thats willing to help you. The others are not willing or just dont care.
Still have 60 gallon compressor from a yr ago. Husky discontinued this series, Given all type of ISSUES, They told husky I didnt have a receipt. MANAGER told me I was talking to his Workers like they were SLAVES.TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, Started shopping Harbor freight and Conroe because of that.He wanted to Physically Assault me if I got upset about COMMENT. Threatening to call Pilice and Threatened to Kick me out the store Physically.Sad, cooperate never attempted to Resolve issues Then told they were going to do me a FAVOR🤔 HOW IF ITEM WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY . Pricing is best in town and theyve managed to keep the store well stocked after Hurricanes Laura & Delta... This was a challenge and home depot met it head on... One other thing of note, they have the best pricing in town right now! Never thought Id see them being the best price but...
This place is only for professional plumbers/electricians and tradesmen…if you don’t know what you’re doing don’t go here because they have no one to help you…

Do not ever buy anything from Home Depot that has to be delivered such as appliances. Home Depot uses Pillar Logistics for their deliveries and this company is simply horrible. They have rescheduled a delivery for me twice and I caught them in lie as to why the appliances were not being delivered on the scheduled date. Pillar logistics has a 1 star rating and the reviews about their company are simply horrific! So, today I will be going to Home Depot to cancel my order for the appliances and get my $3,000 back from them and take it to Lowes because Home Depot uses such a pathetic and unreliable delivery service!!To the CEOof Home Depot,You need to look seriously into Pillar Logistics because you are losing money and customers because of them!
Crowded chaos. Items thrown about, disgruntled shoppers and workers, stock is limited or elusive. The lumber is way below par… knots, bent 2x4’s, bent everything!! Take your blood pressure meds and a Valium before you attempt the gauntlet.

Ordered a dryer online from Home Depot. The delivery company delivers it a week later, (they do not work for Home Depot by the way). They ended up delivering a used dryer, no blue stickers or anything and dryer made a loud humming noise, dryer definitely wasn’t new!! I was told by delivery person, to hire an electrician because it wasn’t dryer that was the issue, he said it was my outlet or breaker, he also told me to call 1800 number to order a replacement. I hired and electrician same day to come out for 15 minutes, said it was not my house/outlet or breaker, said it was the dryer. He charged me $100 bucks! Now at this point, I’m upset, took off work twice, used my vacation time, paid $600 for a new dryer, paid an electrician $100 and I’m out of pocket over $700 bucks and still no dryer! How’s that for a bad week!? Finally get a dryer delivered that has blue stickers, looks brand new like it should have the first time! Talk about a waste of time and money! I will NEVER buy anything from Home Depot again! Oh, and when I tried to ask for a reimbursement of money for the trouble, I was told by the lady to call back to ask for that after I’m satisfied with dryer they will be bringing, I did just that... I ended up getting laughed at and hung up on! Just don’t even waste your time, go down the road to Lowe’s or Stines. Much better service, they actually do their own delivering unlike Home Depot.

Out of stock on most of what I needed. Twice this week Ive ended up having to go to Stines because I couldnt get what I needed at Home Depot.I understand that contractors are busier than ever, but that has been the case for 6 months, and it looks like it will be that way for the next year. The managers need to step up their inventory game, or their gonna start losing customers.
Well it aint no Lowes. But I guess itll do if Lowes is closed.

Home Depot in Lake Charles has been great every time I go. There online inventory matches what’s in the store. Recently purchased a Husky rolling tool chest. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. So much better quality than the Craftsman I bought and brought back the same day.

If you are looking for something cheap that is inexpensive, this store has all the Chinese junk your heart desires. But if you are trying to save guard your most expensive investment (your home) you might want to find a store that offers American made electrical switches and plumbing items

By far the worst Home Depot that I have ever been to. I had to wait for 20 minutes for the associate in the paint department to come back to the paint counter because everyone I asked for assistance didnt work in this department. Then when I asked her about the paint I was looking for she just tells me which isle its supposed to be on. Several times I returned to the counter and got the same and got the same response.
Mike in plumbing was great. Helped me tremendously and went over and beyond. Finally good help in that store

In Lake Charles it never ceases to amaze me the customer service ya cant get in any department store. You ask the first associate they give the wrong information including the isle number. When you ask another team member she waits to call an employee who never shows up. I appreciate local business like Stines!
IF you can find someone to wait on you, it might be okay. The only sales person in the door department was so busy playing on his computer (NOT work related), then on his phone, then talking to another associate who never bothered to ask if she could help us.... Home Depot can take a flight... maybe they made so much money during the last couple months for the hurricane, they dont need our business. As I walked out waiting for the rain to subside, three 3 other customers were waiting complaining about the VERY SAME THING!!! So, it wasnt just me... Guess they really dont need us. Sorry, Home Depot, but youve lost my business.

Very dis-organized compared to other stores in the SETX/SWLA area.
Crowded mess isles blocked with materials cant get cart through nobody knows where anything is located. Out of many commodities Lowes is a quarter mile away does a better job.

I will never give a penny to this store again! First off them employees I encountered last night and manager were very rude. Then the store was very disorganized an cluttered an could barely get the cart around having to move things on every isle to get around. On top of all of it the argument with the manager about disabled veterans getting the 10% discount. It clearly states we get it year round, but she insisted I needed the ID even when I pulled up my 90% rating from the VA’s website. I left my cart with $1,700 worth of materials right there and went to Lowe’s. It may seem petty but when you’re rebuilding from a hurricane 10% of the weekly amount I spend buying materials for rebuilding have added up to thousands! On principle of the fact Home Depot will not take care of the Vets that have sacrificed it all. You will never get another penny from me!

By far the worst Home Depot Ive ever been to. Spent 1 hour waiting for an associate to come move lumber so I could get the right width. I was told theyre busy as I see them standing right outside playing around. No sense of urgency. Does not enforce mask usage either. Decided to take my business to the Lowes next door and will never be returning to a Home Depot again.
They bought me wood that was broke and not all of my materials. They didnt even leave an I owe you on the receipt they left on the wood. Then it took 2 weeks to get the rest of my materials. Also I ordered it from the Lake Charles store but got it from Orange. Check your materials before you cut those plastic straps on the wood.
The roads are rough, but to shop there this time was helpful.
Employee did not what ceiling tile was. Pretty sad. Another guy said had to ordered online, they dont carry any of it. I tried to explain, my partner had to 12ft wall mold and we need picture of SKU . It didnt exist, had to ordered 😕. I appreciate all thr hard work the employees have put forth dealing with everyhing after hurricanes, but come on, gotta train the employees better .

I purchased some flooring from Home Depot Lake Charles. There was not enough flooring in stock for my needs so I bought what was in the store and ordered the additional amount needed to complete my project. Inadvertently, when my remaining flooring came, in, it was accidentally sold. Due to this particular flooring being a discontinued item, I was able to return the flooring that I had purchased and received a full refund without any hassle. I, of course, was disappointed but I was so impressed with the cooperative and friendly attitude I received from the Home Depot employees. Service I havent see in quite a while.

Waited over an hr for “curbside pickup”.When I arrived on site I followed the online directions for them to bring it out to my truck...after 30 minutes of waiting in my truck with a 5 year old I decided to call them. They said the order would be out shortly...30 minutes later.
It was very busy but employees were very helpful. Enough cashiers working and check out went good.
