I dont mind paying a little extra for good, quality service but this place here.... Way over priced! Not worth it! There are better, less expensive places to get your vehicles repaired!

Worst service ever. How do you put 2yr.old tires on a car and sale them as new tires. Who does that. If thats the can of service you offer you get a 0 as a rating. Then when you get call on it Josh Guillory You do nothing! That is not professional that is not good customer service 😡😡 That is the worst service I have ever heard of. I need the number to your Corporate Office ASAP!!

2 months ago i came in for a flat tire. It took them a week to call me and say it was done. When I came in I saw my car still had a flat tire sitting in their parking lot. Now it has the same flat tire. I live one hour away and dropped it off yesterday to be patched - an easy 10 minute fix at most. Now I am sitting here over 24 hours later and they say it will be another 30 minutes. I decided to go and grab food since they said 30 minutes. Just got back and asked if it was done and I watched him grab the ticket and take it to a mechanic. It’s finally being worked on now. Just had to come in twice to make sure. Don’t take the work if you can’t get it done. Super frustrating since I live so far away and can’t even get anyone to answer the phone or call. Definitely will not be taking anything here in the future and hopefully they can patch my tire this time... and they charged me $33. Luckily while I was in here I got one lady to take her car to a different place. Would not recommend to anyone.

I had no appointment I needed four new tires service advisor Josh took my order on a Saturday 5/15 the tires was not in stock, he had to order them they came in on Monday 5/17 I returned on Tuesday 5/18 although they were short of help that day because of the weather condition that happened on the Monday I was still able to get my car tires on in a timely manner, and Damon was the technician that put my tires on Josh forgot to tell him that I needed two tire sensors so after Damon had completed the tires notice lights of the dash the service advisor told him about the two tire sensors that needed to be put on. He quickly without hesitation to put them on. GREAT JOB!!! Thank you

They do excellent work. They are true professionals. They offer my good service in general. They work until 7:00 pm and that from my point of view is very favorable for you to pick up your vehicle after leaving work. On weekends they only offer basic services such as oil and filter or tire change, but I dont think more of that. Now, the high quality of their services is proportional to the total cost of what they bill. I recommend them for their quality.

Why does it allow you to schedule appointments online and sends confirmation but when you get there they are doing walk ins only?

Typically its very slow, but they are also always busy. The mechanics there are pretty nice. Cant say it was the best experience, but it also wasnt the worst! I applaud them for their services, as they are really the only place in Lake Charles that can do the service I needed.

We arrived at this shop at 0830 on 4/30/21. We asked if they had a certain tire in stock and if they could replace the tire. The manager said that they did have the tire in stock and that it would be about an hour wait. We just left at 1200 with no tire change. The manager did not care at all and gave nothing but a scowling face and a bad attitude. They have six bays that were open and no One was working in any of them. There was one employee literally sitting down by some tires doing nothing but smoking a cigarette and playing games on his phone. This place was absolutely a poor excuse for a business. I would definitely not recommend coming here. Worst service I’ve ever had hands down.

Slow they are always slow and understaff. I believe that if they had more technicians in the bay and more people taking care of the customers up front this place could be a 5 star review every time. I give 3 stars only because the job was done and they are working with what they have.

I made an appointment online yesterday for 10am today. I arrived on time and did the initial paperwork. After waiting for an hour I asked how much longer until they would start on it. He looks through the paperwork and says ANOTHER HOUR. He says even though I made an appointment he needs a technician free to do the service. So I just leave and as I pull out I snap this picture. Maybe if he put down Candy Crush he could have gotten to my oil change.

Staff very good, very helpful and work on the car was good. I got there at 7:30 and I didnt get out until after 6.

After our drive through ordering,, we had difficulty merging in the outer lane line. With their order complete they would proceed with no allowance for the inner lane to merge. Otherwise everything was great.

Waited in the lobby for 10 minutes just to find out they wouldn’t be able to do something as simple as check the Freon in my car. It says on their website that they close at 7 so I don’t understand why it would take an hour and a half just to check the Freon levels in my vehicle. Poor customer service...

I came in at 8AM for one new valve stem on a single tire. My vehicle was ready at 3 PM. I had to cancel my entire day because the installation of ONE valve stem takes 7 hours.

Friendly staff, dishonest service.I’ve had my tires changed here plenty of times with no issues. Unfortunately I trusted them enough to bring my car into them for a repair. I had them replace all of my ignition coils, or so I thought. The check engine light remained on after and I was told that it was because my catalytic converter needed to be replaced.I had to bring my car into a mechanic recently because one of my ignition coils had gone out. I let him know that they had all been replaced less than 5 months ago, he said “that’s funny”. He also let me know that my catalytic converter was fine.

When to get a diagnostic test which I had no problem paying but my problem was when they called me I told them it was fine to change the spark plug and ignition coil in cylinder five and I was told a complete different amount over the phone saying it was only gonna be 69 plus tax okay. Well when I go into pay it was 751. They charged me for six spark plugs which was unnecessary but only changed one spark plug and coil. And for my car to still be running the exact same as when I took it in I’m very upset.

The wait is ridiculous 5 hours and still waiting for a valve stem change. I arrived just as the doors open in the middle of the week (checked availability Saturday and Sunday booked solid) was suggested to come middle of the week were its slower and they have a lot of employees working on that day. I have to drive an hour one way ( because I live in the boonies) and only have one vehicle so I cant leave it and get someone to bring me back and forth.

They Were Very Professional With There Work. The Cost Of My New Tire Was Affordable.

Left my car for tire repair. Most tire repair places in the area couldnt get to it for two weeks. They took it the next day. My tire was irreparable so I ordered 4 new ones. They had them in stock. I usually have to order my tires. These guys are professional and courteous.

I went Sunday 8/2 to have a tire repaired. I was told to park where i could find a place. I then went inside and he told me it would be 2 1/2 hr wait. I asked about another place and he said either Beaumont or Lafayette. Little did the mgr know i had already searched for open places and there were several. I drove to Sulphur. Firestone there had me on the road in about 30 minutes. I will not ever do business there and spread the word. That mgr could have helped the two workers with the small jobs instead of standing around eating

Very bad attitude,The guy on the front desk was a really bad attitude to attend a customer, I ask for an oil change and other services and he immediately respond it Will be ready for tomorrow you need to drop it off talk to me from very of the desk, and I respond can you have it sooner?, he responded NO, with a very angry face and unhappy for his job to sad for him, and very bad reputation for Firestone, I just went to Jeffy Lube to resolve my needs just in 20 minutes.

Guy wasnt a people. Person the day I went when I asked him a question about size 14 tires he barked at me WHAT? No we dont carry anything that small.. No. Problems sir. Ciao

I went in on a Saturday to get my tire fixed (for the second time) and to get my breaks fixed. Waited there for 5 hours. Once we drove home the whole vehicle started to shake we called and they said that we would have to leave it over night or take it in Monday. Monday comes around I get here at 7:30 and waited 2 hours for them to balance a tire just to find out they never fixed the problem. I turned right back around and they told me it would be a few hours to get looked at and they were extremely rude. I hate this place and have never had a good experience the manager is the worst and doesn’t do his job. If you bring in your vehicle in be aware you will there for several hours.

I went to buy some tires on wednesday in lake charles. Online mention that they are available in the store. When I walk into the store and talk to one of the employees, he informs me that the tire he has available costs $ 125 each. I explain that I am interested in tire 215/60/16 which costs $ 67 each. He informs me that the tire is not available in the store and that the tire is available in Texas. And if I want the tire of $ 67 I have to wait 6 days. Until the next Monday. In addition to this I was in front of the counter for about 15 minutes just to talk to an employee since there was no employee at the counter attending. I do not recommend this place

Inconsiderate between all my vehicles and trailers Ive been to a lot of tire places and Ive had a lot of flats and I have never had to put my spare tire back up underneath the truck out in the middle of the parking lot like I had to today. I told them inside exactly where the key was to do it they said okay but there I was on my hands and knees crawling underneath the truck.

Making an appointment online is pointless! First, they never respond and confirm the appointment date or time. Then when you call to verify the appointment, they say we see your reservation, but when you arrive you may have to wait at least an hour before we even touch your car. Well, $h^!, whats the point in making a reservation if I STILL have to wait over an hour?! All I wanted was an oil change! Unbelievable! I have been a member of Firestone for over 10 years. I just cant with this place.

Lesson learned. Never going back to Firestone. A set of performance rotors with brake kit is around $150. Plain Jane rotors at Firestone are $269 without the brake kit. They say quote unquote their parts are guaranteed and that’s why they can charge double the price. Well, you just lost a customer and hopefully others will read this and take their business elsewhere as well.

This place is always good, this is the only place my husband takes our vehicles to. They are always quick and very polite. They do have free coffee and they play documentaries sometimes in the lobby. Last time I was there I watched a documentary about the middle East which was pretty entertaining and cool to watch. Also they arent to harsh on me when I dont know what they are talking about, they are perfectly fine with me calling my husband and telling him whats going on. Kudos to you guys!

Called firestone here to inquire about whether they press out and in old and new wheel bearing, was told yes but not new bearing or hub brought in by customer!!! Want customer to purchase a part through them thats marked up by 200%!!! Their in business to fatten their pockets, and stick it to the customers. Being a disabled veteran on a fixed income I shop for my parts online dont have the luxury to pay overcharged prices!!

I agree with this user (Yo Mama). I was told that the appointment doesnt matter. If a walk-in makes it (even a second) before me, my appointment goes out the window. I made it in 30 minutes before my appointment. Technician said, It doesnt matter about the appointment because he has to have a technician available. People were steady walking in and those people were getting taken care of before I was. Their whole process makes me want to PUKE! If I could give them negative stars, then I would with NO HESITATION!

Came in needing a new tire. They tried to find the same one I had but didn’t have it in stock so I opted to get a different tire. I asked for the difference in my two option and was told only “The price. They are both black and round”. Other than that they were fast and took care of my car. Just wish I could have gotten more information when I asked instead of being treated like I didn’t know the difference anyway so why take time explaining

At 11 15 he told me itd be 30-45 minutes Til he could look at a leak.At 12:30 I went outside to ask how long itd be. They laughed and said 5 or 6 hours. I think he was joking.Its 1 pm and Im still waiting.======I got home later that day and none of the plugs were put back on my wheels, and I had flats. They took my wheel plugs off and didnt replace them, now I couldnt go anywhere in my own drive way. This is no doubt the worst auto store in the city. I wouldnt buy a soda from them.

My wife and I dropped my vehicle off on 01/19/19 at approximately 7:15 a.m. I dropped it off to get my left rear tire repaired and a tire rotation. We returned at 9:19 a.m. the same day to pick up my car. I Paid the bill and left. I stopped to get fuel and started looking at my tires and noticed where I was riding with a low tire it showed wear and it was still in the rear and hadnt been rotated. I called Joe the manager and of course my voice was louder than normal as I was upset. He put me on hold and came back and said the guy didnt know he had to rotate my tires. I told him that its as clear as can be on the paperwork and I was charged for it. Then he acted like it was no big deal to bring it back for them to rotate. I said no im not doing business with you anymore and he said he didnt want my business anyway and laughed again. Earlier I had made a demand for my money back and he said something about me calling and making demands. There are many tire places in Lake Charles, please stay away from this one.

Very slow service. I made an appointment online and arrived an hour early only to be told, “it’ll be about 2 and a half hours before we can get to it.” When I mentioned the appointment I was told “we really don’t do appointments on the weekends. Well why does your website make them!I was charged $18.99 extra because they “don’t stock” my oil filter. I’ve been using other Firestone locations for years and haven’t had this problem. I drive a Volkswagen, not some rare import sports car!Once my car was finished they never called me to the counter to check out. I had to approach them and tell them my car was finished. At this point it was sitting in the parking lot for about 25 minutes.Once I get into my car I noticed that my service light had not been reset. When I asked them to reset it their response was “no one here knows how.” No problem I Googled the instructions and did it myself. Something I think a trained professional who do, especially after charging $96 for an oil change!

My friend and I were getting ready to go back to Houston and we discovered we had a flat tire. We found a Firestone open until 7pm. The location was Lake Charles La. We made it there and they were so nice and Profesional. They saved us. A lot of businesses close early on Saturday but they were open. Made it back to Houston safely.

I had an amazing experience, the staff was friendly when I called to get a quote. They were fast, and exceeded my expectations. My car was finished on time and I paid less then what I was expecting. Tyler was nice and Bernard did a great job on my taillight

AWESOME service!! Went in to have my tire air leak checked. I was a “walk in” on a Saturday morning. Very friendly and straight forward. He said they would get to my car when they could and call me. I walked down to Starbucks (close to 1 mile) and had coffee. By the time I got back, the car was ready. They couldn’t find a problem and didn’t charge me anything.

I need a tire plugged. Thats it. I was told it would be about an hour because there were 2 people ahead of me. Fine. No worries. Nearly 2 hours later... here I still sit.Never again. I thought Id give them another chance, with something pretty simple, after they quoted me a price of $1200 to fix my brakes. They said I needed all 4 pads replaced, new calipers and new front rotors. I needed new rear pads. Thats it. $50 & I changed them myself.Im pretty sure they just saw a single woman and thought I was an easy target to take advantage of. I say that because once I brought my dad with me to see exactly how bad everything was, they changed their tune. All the sudden it wasnt necessary to do it all. Whats sad is that I overheard the same man give a little old lady the same song and dance today. Poor thing. She probably didnt need everything they said she did either.I highly recommend taking your business anywhere but Firestone on Ryan St in Lake Charles. I know I sure will.

Great service

I brought my vehicle in 3 times for repairs and each time the issue was not resolved. On the first time they said my alternator needed to be replaced, I agreed with the understanding that it would resolve the issue. The second time only 2 weeks later the issue arose again, this time it was belts and the belt tensioner. Then one week later the issue returned and this time the mechanic stated the AC compressor needed to be replaced, an additional $1000. The issue I have is they recommended unnecessary repairs that I would not have done had I known the whole issue and costs of repairs, which are worth more than the vehicle. Not only was that an issue but I paid for labor twice for the same issue which still was not resolved. I refused the third, because as the mechanic stated, my vehicle is worth less than the cost of repairs. The mechanic also stated that there was no way to resolve this issue and that sometimes they miss stuff or make mistakes. The problem simply stated is that I trusted them to fix something or at least use their expertise to provide good feedback on what to do. So either out of ignorance or abuse of my trust, they offered me services that did not resolve the issue and actually created more problems. To anyone in the Lake Charles area I would find a different location or mechanics.

Quick courteous service. They were knowledge about what I needed, and were able to get me set up for a very reasonable price.

Go elsewhere. I got 4 new tires on my vehicle and asked to put the best used one from my car onto the spare. They forgot. I brought my other car in for an alignment the next day and had a coupon, the guy on the phone did not want to accept the coupon for alignments. It clearly stated wheel alignment was included on the coupon (they accepted in the end). Was told it would take 30 minutes but it ended up taking 2 hours. They just shrugged and said thats how it goes sometimes. They wont accept an alignment after 5:30 but dont close til 7. Other people will do it and charge less. They are $85 for an alignment. Highest in Lake Charles and Sulphur. I will go elsewhere next time.

Bought tires that cost me 917 dollars for my welding truck. Three months later, they tried to charge me for a balance and rotation. Sitting here for hours on end sucks.

Three Strikes - Out!I’ve dealt with Firestone in Houston Texas, Richmond Indiana, Indianapolis Indiana and most recently Lake Charles Louisiana. Services requested were oil changes, tire rotate & balance, and replace a driveline control wire. At each location I got the distinct impression I was bothering them by bringing in a car. At the Richmond Indiana location, I had to go back Twice to get the lug nuts tightened, and 4 times to get the alignment right. On the lug nuts, they blamed the tool. On the alignment they blamed the car (2012 Volvo S80). At the Lake Charles location, the attendant refused to hear my explanation of the issue on an ‘04 Toyota 4 Runner. Consequently they diagnosed a different problem (complete transmission overhaul). When I returned to explain in person, again I get the distinct impression I was bothering them. Their response was, in a very frank tone (and I quote), “I’ll get it on a rack and look at it, but I can tell you now, I’m not going to spend a lot of time on it”.Bottom line: Three stores, three states, same bad experience. The issue with Firestone is systemic/cultural. In my view, three strikes - Out.

This was the worst experience of mine. Do not go there. You will have more problems coming out if the shop than when you came in. They changed my break fluid and did not tighten my breaklines up so I had a leak.The purposefully drained the Freon out of my car and tried to say my compressor was going out. I also brought it in to get a tune up and they put 2 broken spark plugs in my car. They also said that the sound coming from the plugs misfiring were from the compressor. These people are some of the worst lying people I have ever met and they run a terrible shop. Please take your business else where.

Took car in to see issue with it. Waited hours to get some BS answer n ripped off 100.00 for diagnostic that was wrong. They if course could not fix it saying catalytic converter issue...it was not even the issue it was fuel pump. So if you want miss diagnoses n to be ripped off this is perfect place. They should of said we dont know n sorry for the wait n we are not charging you anything. My fault bc broken down n desperate to get car fixed n thought Firestone reputable but NOT AT ALL.

Stopped in after our rental got a flat the night before. Very understanding staff and got us in and out in a few hours.

I went there last year for 2 tires and a alignment. They charged me like 170.00 for both tires and then the alignment. Close to 350.00 total. My son goes there today to replace a tire and they want 140.00 for one tire. I called and said I wanted the same tire they put on last time. He said yes they went up. I said I am not paying that much for a tire. My son left with a bad tire. I cant believe they didnt have a tire cheaper than 140.00. I will not go back there ever again.

I didnt even have to get any service here. I was having trouble with one of my tires, which apparently it was a high pressure leak. They didnt charge me, they just look the tire and let me know what was going on.They didnt have the part needed to fix it, and because it was Sunday they werent able to order it. But they did manage to rig it so that it was fixed and I could go home. I live all the way in Lafayette, so this was a very kind thing for them to do. I highly recommend this Firestone.

Being a single female, Im very wary of automotive places. I went in for tires and left with tires. They told me the price up front and did not deviate after the fact or show me other problems to be fixed on my vehicle. The staff was honest, cordial, up front and thankful for my patronage. I will visit them again.

Do not take your vehicle here for anything! I went to get an estimate on an oil leak while business seemed to be slow. They said there was only one car ahead of mine and it would only be 30 to 40 minutes before they could look at my car. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we go outside to see whats going on and the whole staff is standing in a group socialzing with each other and I ask them how much longer its going to take. One guy thought he was funny and said 6 hours laughing, I did not find this amusing. So as soon as we confronted them they grabbed my keys and pulled my car in. We decided to go outside and watch whats going on after seeing how unprofessional the staff was. So they gave me a bullshit estimate and I pay them $25, whatever I was ready to get out of there. So I go home and after an hour goes by I notice my back left tire is completely flat and my cap is missing and I can hear air leaking out. They apparently check the pressure of your tires when you get an estimate on your engine and the guy forgot to put the cap back on my tire. I was extremely irritated due to the fact I had work in less than an hour. I called and they did give me my $25 refund for the estimate but I would never even go to these guys for a simple tire change.

I do all my own work but I am currently working 5 days a week out here so I have been using these guys for oil changes and tire rotations. They are pretty friendly and the price is very reasonable, especially for them using a synthetic blend. Also the bar across the street has 1.50 beers while you wait lol.

Rude, arrogant, smart mouths!! The manager also condones this behavior. Hes probably the worst one & very good at making a bad situation worst by being absolutely rude. By far some of the worst customer service Ive received with any of my business endeavors, never know what to expect each visit, hardly every pleasant. The manager definitely should not be in customer service, bad career move for him passed on to the customer... Hate the place! Even with my discount I contemplate going else where each & every time...the little savings just isnt worth it any more..

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! not only is the customer service an absaloutely disgrace but Im looking into suing them if its even possible. We took my car to get an alignment and oil change. Also to have a noise looked at. The noise was a normal need a new wheel bearing sound.We walked in, waited 6 hours and they came out saying we needed all new wheel bearings, and numerous other parts to be fixed. We felt we didnt really have a choice since they said if we didnt fix it now it could be dangerous and we had a newborn. We ended up paying 1600$. Yea thats right, $1600 . Ridiculous! We couldve bought a ton of new parts but they only changed a few.Then a week later my car starts messing up again. A new problem. We take it back to Firestone and they want to replace a bunch of other parts and charge us $800. I know for a fact all those parts didnt need to be replaced because my car is BRAND NEW. Bought it in July. Then they hand us a quote for $1500!These people are ridiculous and rude and not helpful at all. We didnt even get anything changed and they still charged us $100. Dont take your car here. They make whatever problem worse and charge you a ridiculous amount. I feel they caused my car to break after we took it so wed have to go back and spend more money. Currently looking into suing for putting my family & kids in danger.

Just got back from a terrible experience with this firestone. Called a week ago to schedule an appt in hopes that I would have better luck at this one compared to fort polk firestone. NO SUCH LUCK. Showed up at 1245 for my 1300 appt. and sat around for 2 hours, while my vehicle remained in the same spot I had parked it. Finally went to the desk and informed them I was very frustrated because I was promised I’d be in and out because I “had an appointment”. They couldn’t tell me why I had waited for two hours with no progress. Unacceptable considering the person who took my keys said it would be “quick”. I drove an hour and 15 minutes in hopes of better service and was sorely disappointed. My brother in law works for firestone in TX and says this is NOT firestone policy. So disappointing considering I have been with firestone for the last ten years. Firestone will no longer receive my business. Three oil changes in a row with shady work and terrible customer service at two different Firestones.

Very fast, professional, reasonably priced, and completed a job I assumed would take atleast a few days (due to ordering parts) in 3 hours...on a Saturday. Also very honest, will only fix what needs to be fixed.

They tell you the wait isnt that long and next thing you know you have been there for 3 hours. Got quoted a price for my repairs and when I got the bill it was $100 more without asking me or telling me about the extra charges

Have used many firestones before but this location is awful. Wife made appointments for oil change and alignment. We have been waiting for 2 hours and the vehicle hasnt been touched. No comment about being backed up or short staffed.Unless there is an unavoidable issue, what is the point of making and appointment if you wont honor it? Waste of time.

While no one enjoys having repairs to their vehicle completed, Firestone has made this event bearable. The guys there, Josh especially, fully explain my vehicles needs and costs. They are friendly and professional at all times.

Pretty good turnaround for what they estimate on their completion time, however from what I gather it could just be over compensating for what they really need.They also do overcharge past a previous rate of what another firestone had previously offered so no dice -1 from 3

I had a relative passing through town that had an unfortunate incident on the interstate one night late that damage two tires. Firestone did a great job of getting him out first thing the next morning so that he could get home and catch a scheduled flights. Thank you....

Went in telling them I have a problem with front end. They turn me away over 4 times. Finally I try and figure whats wrong with it as best as I can and tell them its probably the wheel bearings. They never called and said it was finished I had to keep calling and checking. They had my car for well over 36 hours. $675 later there is something still wrong with front end. If they would properly inspect and actually drive it around then theyd figure out whats wrong!! After I get these 2 tires I need I will never go back and do not recommend anyone to!

Absolutely horrific. They told us an hour to change 1 tire; its now been almost 2. Multiple people are being serviced before us (even though they got here ATLEAST an hour after us). I even just got done watching one employee move his mop bucket around in a circle for 10 minutes to avoid having to go FIX CARS. Seriously yall, anywhere is better than here.

Front of the store looks like its closed down, shop is filthy, Ive worked in some messy shops but man this topped it all... hands didnt know their a** from a hole in the ground, and office personnel are not well informed and if you not spending bucks they dont have time for you... I understand its business, but a person to person level is expected if I plan to trust you with my vehicle! I wont deal with someone that wont give me a moment of their time...

Do bussiness here at your own risk!!!! Had a brake job done here a year or so ago . They replaced rotors, calipers on my truck . I go to Pennsylvania and as soon as I get there I have to put it in the shop because when they changed out the rotors they did not put it back together right . Last week the brakes locked up so I bring it back. They changed out just the calipers this time . They next day at I notice that my inside tire is wet . Yep they forgot to tighten the brake line . Called them up to let them know they did not tighten the brake line he makes an excuse for the guy and tells me to bring it back in . NO THANK YOU. It was my fault for bringing it back the second time . Then 3 months later the brakes start making a horrible noise so I take it to the dealership instead of those idiots . The guy that worked on my truck said that there was some loose bolts and could not believe that the brakes were 3 months old . Never will I do business with them or anything that has Firestone on it .
